I won't name names cause this person doesn't want me to, but I got a package in the mail yesterday and it was a GameCube system to replace the one that was fried in the electrical surge awhile back. This person had a friend that was looking to sell it and knew mine was dead and offered to send it to me. I just want to tell them thank you thank you thank you. :) It really meant a lot to all 3 of us!

Also don't mistake a "power strip" for a "surge protector". If you pay under $10 from Wal-mart, chances are you only got a power strip and your electronics are still virtually unprotected.

heh Yeah, we have true, new, good surge protectors on all our stuff now. APC, I believe. Registered them and everything, so if something happens, we should get $$ from them. lol
