When you sign up for Blue Frog you are adding yourself to a grass roots no spam list, since there are no laws to fight this scourge, blue frog enforces their no spam list by gathering the most offensive spammers that plague our mailboxes into what they call the "honey Pot" they use this list to spam their websites back!! Severely enough to create a denial of service error to anyone that try's use their website, it basically shuts their business down so they can’t sell on the net. They will continue to do this until they stop sending spam to Blue Frog members. This program just came out last week and has 15,000 members. Sign up now while the software is free, I don’t think it will take very long before they will be able to charge for this service.

Okay Doolittle, I signed up even though I don't totally get all this stuff. I am pretty sure of what spam is. So thanks. Hopefully, this will help

from what i know about it, just registaring your name and email with blue security is enough to be on the protected list. if you want to help go after companys that have spamed your mailbox, you can forward all your junkmail to the email address they give you, if you install their software your computer actually starts pinging these websites that that have been spamming your email account, causing thier websites to not work. you can also setup Blue Frog to run only while your computer is idle.

so all you have to do is sign up and let blue frog to do the rest. if you want to get more involved, forward them your spam and run thier software, but that doesent seem to be needed once you are on their no spam list. i doubt it will take too much longer before these companys will be forced to take your email address off of their spam list.

enjoy

Sounds like a fun way to get back but a DOS attack is illegal. Whats so hard about clicking or pressing the delete key? My spam filters catch every piece of spam i get so I just delete the whole folder, try filtering it really does work.

Just FYI, many times these spammers are hosted on shared servers, so there's other (innocent) sites running on the same servers, so they'll probably get caught in the crossfire.
