Hey, I got 2 NEW in box Western Digital 160 Gig SATA Drives for sale. The UPC codes are gone due to rebates, so the boxes are open, but the drives have never been used. The model number is WD1600JDRTL and you can find the specs on them here:
http://www.westerndigital.com/en/products/productkit.asp?DriveID=57
The drives I will sell to the 2 highest offers, and add about 3-5 dollars for shipping, according to where you are in the U.S.
The Wireless Keyboard and Mouse are also new in box. Again, the upc is removed and box opened, but never used. The model is the Logitech Cordless Desktop LX500. Find Specs here:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/features/comforttopics/US/EN,CRID=2075,CONTENTID=8672
This I will sell for no less than 40 dollars, or to the highest offer, plus shipping.
Lastly, but not leastly, I have a used 20 gig Compaq Quantum Fireball Hard Drive. No box, but the drive is in working condition and was pulled from one of my computers, which I upgraded. Have no need for it, so I thought Id sell it. This drive will be 15 dollars plus another 3-5 for shipping.
If you have questions or interest in any of these items, email me at
[email protected] I will accept Paypal, Postal Money Orders, Checks, or solid cash. Look me up on ebay, if you wish, username Ohnonomiss. Thanks for looking

If I don't hear from him/her by Friday, I will have to start legal action with the San Bernadino County Sherriff.

Here is where he/she is from. The name on the paypal account is a female name I think, and from the name I was able to find an address and phone number in Chino Hills through zabasearch. I know a bit more, but I will let the County Sherriff's office handle that if it comes to it. I am now quite irritated with Ohnonomiss and he/she made a big mistake to do this to someone who lives nearby him/her and who knows what to do with online fraud.

I have not heard anything from ohnonomiss. I have sent PMs and emails with no response. I have seen him/her online on his/her AIM, and with this non-communication I can only assume he/she is not going to refund me my money or send the hard drive. Johnnymk warned me about ohnonomiss and I that is why I was hesitant to buy from this person. Only until he/she started selling the items and completing deals did I reconsider. If I have to I will get the San Bernadino County Sherriff involved and I will pursue every legal avenue available to me to make sure Ohnonomiss regrets ever doing this.

Paypal chargeback will work if that is the payment you used... you win chargeback cases automatically unless the seller can prove the item was DELIVERED (not only shipped)

Oh I'm well aware of that. This person really is an idiot if he/she thinks they can somehow get away with it. I have already been in contact with the Sherriff's office (the city where this person resides is policed through a contract with the County Sherriff).
On a side note, the amount of information you can pull up on someone through a few simple public records searches is fascinating and scary. I have been able to pull a lot of cooroborative information together to narrow down everything too. I was able to even correspond this person's Verizon DSL IP to a group assigned to his regional area. This moron even uses an IM account with his name - yes we are dealing with amateur hour here.

Yes he sent me an email last night apologizing saying he still hadn't been able to get to the post office to mail it out. Yeah. That's a bull**** excuse. I honestly think he'll come up with another excuse for why he wasn't send out the keyboard and mouse to you tomorrow Jenny. Sorry, but a change in his behavior doesn't look forthcoming.

Is there a way that we can set up new rules for buying and selling so stuff like this doesn't happen? I dunno...stuff like you have to be registered for so many months and have a certain rank to be able to post a "for sale" item...I dunno
I don't trust anyone but other "experienced" G|A members here. The first day that I buy something from a 5 year veteran with 2000+ posts and they stiff me and never come back to G|A...that'll be an eye opener.
Because of things like this...I will never trust anyone who I haven't seen around the boards. :disa: Even though this guy "apologized" in the end...it still offers no excuse as to the way he treated you guys and your money.

Well I now have a refund in process. I'll let you all know when it goes through. If it does, I'll put a stop to all my activities related to this currently in process.
I normally use Heatware, and as you all may have noticed that is why I first asked for that. Johnnymk warned me about his bad experience with Ohnonomiss and while I was hesitant, I went against my better judgement and tried working with Ohnonomiss anyway.
Whatever the case, never deal with this person in my opinion. His idea of shipping is when he can somehow get to the post office by next month, instead of the next couple days. I'd rather deal with rebates that deal with him any day, and that's saying something.

Yeah it only took almost a 4 weeks for him to send me something. Never, ever ever deal with this guy. When he says, "I'll send it out tomorrow", he means "I'll maybe get around to it 3 weeks from now". I'm not sure if he really knows just how close he was to having a sheriff's deputy showing up at his front door.

I just looked at this thread for the first time. Or at least the continuing saga. I can't believe what I am reading!!
Several months ago, I sent a $60 money order for a 160 GB hard drive that he advertised here. Well, after about a month of eMails and threats, I got my hard drive. After he sent it to me, he asked if everything was OK. I responded several weeks later and explained that I got it. I think he gets a kick out of pi**ing people off. The guy is an irresponsible jerk and should be taken to the shed and whipped.
chrisa86wm
09-27-2005, 12:19 AM
well crap! now i see why i got my harddrive so quickly. its freakin broke. when i got it i popped it in my desktop to check it and everything was fine so i removed it and set it aside for while. i tried to put it in an old desktop today, installed windows, then rebooted.
next thing i know i get these VERY loud clicking noises and the computer wouldnt boot into windows. after messing around a bit i found that the hdd had crapped out.
i guess there is nothing i can do to get my money back from this @#$! since i had it for a couple of weeks. thanks again ohnonomiss for proving to be the worst seller in the world :censored:

Glad to see that things are sorta-resolved.
I wanted to comment on heatware and dealing with newbies/whatnot -
Me personally - I don't have any heatware, but if asked, I could always refer someone to my eBay feedback which is 79 I believe. I've had two negatives but both were retaliatory from a-holes that decided to bid on my Ps2 and not send me the money. I could also point out a long history to my account (I believe my eBay account has been active as long as my G|A account). I guess in light of the situation, I'd have enough backing me up with eBay feedback like that, but, I'd hope that would be enough. Sometimes it seems like many of you are dependent on heatware, but, in some people's cases (including mine) - I've never bought/sold with individuals outside of eBay.
Then again I've also got a Paypal account which can also be tracked...so I guess I'm hoping that all of this would be credible enough if I wanted to pick up something from someone on here. :)
-just my two cents.
