Is that what you really meant in the third paragraph of your second chapter? What about the research that seems to indicate that this is false? Is that really what you thought I was talking about in my comments as your second reader?
Good luck!

Outcome? The silence is either, I passed and am on a bender, or I screwed up and i'm hiding from the world.

Say my sentance in a german accent (Herr = Mister), and that spelling makes a lot more sense.

 Dr. Ramazank2
This reminds me of when my dad graduated with his doctorate, an elder at the church gave him a $100 check not to just congratulate him, but to be able to say that he was the first one to address him as Dr. Lee on paper.

My avatar is a picture of my 2.5 yr old maltese poodle.
For once I really want to see my diploma (it takes 6 months or so to process), it will be signed by the governator!!! Talk about a valuable degree.

 NICE! I took a couple graduate-level courses in silicon processing when I was getting my Master's in EE. What type of process do you specialize in?

Actually, I know practically nothing about silicon processing. They hired me solely based on my physical chemistry PhD and my personallity. All I know is that when I start this job I have some sort of intensive training program ahead of me.

That is very cool. I know quite a bit about silicon processing thanks to a professor I had who was very involved in the industry and did design research in the field. Of course I don't use this information at all in my current job, but it is something I still keep up with.
I wish you the best of luck in this new position - it's a truly leading edge industry you're in there. :thumb:

Would you happen to have any really good resources that could help me get started?
Thanks

Wrong.. Just wrong...
Congrats Doc. I am finishing my MBA and am thinking of an ECOn ph.d. And then i realized... what does PH stand for? Acidity test of people bitter after 9 years of higher education?
Anyways, good job and good luck with the job. I'm sure you will do great.
