Ok weren't Paul and Linda married for a long time? You can't say you have their love after a few months of dating. He seriously has lost his mind...FH and moochelle don't even live together yet so they are always apart from each other and they aren't raising any kids together....Seriously where did he come up with this comparison? What an idiot.
And I don't want to even try and picture him singing.....
Well, Linda's is dead. Does that mean Tommy thinks Michelle will die and then he can marry a one-legged British woman? Tommy is a furry... Let's just call him the Panda.

She always has to be doing something with the kids - going the Crappy Cheese, Dave and Buttsters, watching rate-R movies, loading them with sugar - what about just being a mom and teaching them to appreciate the simple things in life!

Laura, since we know you're lurking. Here's some suggestions for you, things my kids and I do together...
Most Barnes and Noble's have a storytime on Friday night
Take a walk or hike and explore nature. There's Mission Trails, Poway Lake, etc.
Go to Michael's and grab some craft/art supplies, sit with them and use your IMAGINATIONS.
Play some games. Even Evie can play Candyland, Go Fish, Old Maid, etc.
Cook or bake something together (we know you don't cook, but even something as easy as grabbing a Boboli crust and some sauce and pre-shredded cheese...or premixed cookie dough)
They've seen and heard more than their little eyes, ears, and hearts ever should. Make memories with them - they will enjoy these types of moments much more than a loud crazed evening playing video games. Step up and be a MOM. You might actually enjoy it.
Great tips! Or for Laura, roll a few joints, chase it with some Jack, and crank up the Floyd... No Charlie mommy likes it turned up to 11!!!

Lucky to ruin your marriage, give your son a birth defect and cause who knows how munch mental damageto your kids, destroy your family, hurt your kids, blow tons of $$ on rehab, waste your life, risk your life, depend on a foreign substance becasue you're to weak to exist without it, lie to the ones your supposedly love, get to know a bounch of other losers in rehab, destroy your body, etc. Yes, that sure is something for which to be thankful. Some people here don't understand what Laura has been through.
She did lotsa sole searching at Hazledon rehab in Oregon. Then she did more sole searching at Sobriety By The Sea in Newport Beach. Witch sounds like a beach hotel but it was like work for Laura to be in rehab. There are chores to do, homework to do, classes to go to. She even had to go "PP" in front of somebody to prove it was her own yurin sample there. And now that she's been back she had to adjust to her marriage crumbling down and having to live at Little Tommy's house. So she knows she has to be there more than ever for the kids. She knows her kids are going through a lot with her having been gone for 3 months and now their parents splitting up. She's doing what she knows how to do to reissure the kids that she's there for them and she loves them and they love her and Dave loves the kids still, even though they aren't together. Things happened with Laura and Dave witch she never talks about, but they still happened. She just wants the kids to be happy and to get through it all together.
So cut Laura a break because she has been through some things that other people have not been through. Rehab is not like being on vacation.

Geez, Louise, can we all get back to talking about the Jeff and Jer Radio Showgram? Let's talk about what they do that makes us laugh, what they do that touches our heart, and just how silly they can be. We should have somebody come on here and give a daily summary of what happened on that day's Showgram, and then that can serve as talking points for everybody to talk about.

Dilbutt is right yet again. There are a lot of other people who have not been to rehab and don't understand why we should feel sorry for a woman who chose drugs, alcohol, and partying over her family. And now her family is all broked up....because she broke it up a long time ago. Rehab was hard for her because she actually had to work for once in her life. Oh my god, she had to do chores...but she's a big deal!!! There will be no pity for her on this board, Dilbutt.

What they do to make us laugh...nothing. But after Wonk, Jake, etc are through with them then there are plenty of laughs.
What touches our heart...how sad it is that they a*@holes have no idea how to be good parents and how they have put there kids through divorces, new girlfriends, fiancees, drugs, drinking, etc. all so they can be big deals.
What is silly is that they are still on the radio spewing crap day after day and pretend its a kid-friendly show when all they talk about our the basest of things.

Jake if you allow me this one....Repost from Dilbert..
Some people here don't understand what Laura has been through. (Anyone who hasn't chosen partying over being a parent)
Witch sounds (She makes them everyday) like a beach hotel but it was like work for Laura to be in rehab. She even had to go "PP" in front of somebody (Like she used to every Saturday night about 2 am in PB) to prove it was her own yurin sample there And now that she's been back she had to adjust to her marriage crumbling down (It was perfect before she went to rehab) and having to live at Little Tommy's house (Because there are no apartments for rent in San Diego). So she knows she has to be there more than ever for the kids (She's up to five minutes instead of just two now). She knows her kids are going through a lot with her having been gone for 3 months and now their parents splitting up. She's doing what she knows how to do to reissure the kids that she's there for them and she loves them and they love her and Dave loves the kids still, even though they aren't together (but she still loves the alcohol and drugs more than any of them and now she loves being a recovering alcoholic even more). Things happened with Laura and Dave witch she never talks about (but the witch says enough other stupid stuff), but they still happened. She just wants the kids to be happy and to get through it all together.
So cut Laura a break because she has been through some things that other people have not been through. Rehab is not like being on vacation. (But working on the spewgram is.)

Ok, so i'm board (hee hee, pulling a DB), and I was looking at some of Laura's old diary entries. This was from a couple of years ago. Interesting, and I can't believe she was so open admitting how drunk she got. I have to admit I didn't ever read many of her diary entries until recently, and I can see they haven't changed. All about me, me, me
:disa:
Dear Diary,
I suffered from something this weekend that I haven't suffered from in the longest time...The almighty hang-over. Whoa. Forgot how punishing a night of drinking stupid stuff can be. Jamie and I started off our big Stingeree Opening night party with a little Absinthe at his house. Absinthe. It's from Spain. You can't buy it here. That should've been my first clue. It tastes like licorice mixed with flames. You’re supposed to see green fairies or something if you drink enough of it. We only had one.
We got to Stingeree and had a few Red Bull Vodka's before touring the huge, huge place. There were so many beautiful people there. It was like a modeling convention. There were Gwen Stefani sightings, but we couldn't make it to the VIP section, so we didn't get to see her. From Stingeree, we popped into Sidebar and then on over to Airport. It was a fun night. But, dang.
The night before was Jingleball. I loved every minute of it. Switchfoot for sure was the best of the bunch. I think I was screaming "I love you!" to the lead singer at one point. Don’t think Davecain was thrilled about that. I was pretty buzzed that night, too. Time to dry out, sister

You know, the thing that we never hear from FH and LBM is them talking about dropping the kids off at soccer, or dance classes or gymnastics, or Pop Warner football - or any kind of organized, social activities appropriate for children. It's always kids getting dropped off to be dragged around to activities that are way too adult for them to participate in - stuff the adult wants to do (selfish).
TPing houses and riding the crappy skateboard ramp in front of your house isn't social. Going to movies with your "big deal" ex-substance abusing mother isn't a social activity for kids. Hiking in a dirty mountain with adult women isn't a social activity for kids. Nothing that they mention doing is anything that involves other kids (maybe not from such "big deal" families, but nonetheless....)
Sad. I have great memories of being in Girl Scouts, going to camp, going to dance classes (and I'm a boy):) But seriously, kids need those activities in their lives. And apparently the "big deals" don't have enough time to do that for their kids.

The original post is a page back and it doesn't show that it's been edited...it said "drink"
I think the first person that quoted it did some creative editing in their quoting of the original post by changing "drink" to "do" (which makes it much more "LauraCain"-ish)

Jeff is the only one that really talks about that. How about doing homework? I used to read to my kids every night when they were little. I never hear Laura or Fathead talk about that and school is in full session. I love the memories I have carting my kids around and my son telling me he could hear me cheering on the other side of the football stadium during his pop warner games. Those are good times, good times.

RE-POSTED by DILBERT 1985
Well, another week of the Jeff and Jer Radio Showgram is over. Thank God!
Jeff is going this weekend back to his hometown in Ohio, and will introduce B.J. Thomas at the county fair there. Nothing says county fair like B.J.
Those people in San Diego who grew up somewhere else always have a place in their heart for their hometown. Like, all of my homies in Chula Vista and their love for their hometowns in Mexico. It brings back so many memories for Jeff to go back and visit.
Gosh, remember, when Jeff got a tattoo of a map of Ohio on his arm? It seems like it was weeks ago, and yet it was only weeks ago! So he has fond rememberances of growing up and middle America and all that. Most of us here only know left America, but Jeff is special cause he knows middle America!
But then to his kids, San Diego is their hometown. So to everyone who grew up someplace else, remember that to your kids, San Diego is their hometown, and their place that they will have all the nostalgia as their hometown someday. Cause, where you grow up is always more important than places where you don't grow up and memories here will be better than memories of places you didn't grow up.
Little Tommy has worked harder than most of us know to get this Tommy Tube thing set up properly. Cause most of us didn't do anything on the Tommy Tube cause we don't care. So everybody can check it out on the web site. Please go there and click on Tommy Tube.
And then like Tommy says, him and Michelle aren't just going to rush into anything. Cause Tommy hasn't any idea on how to place a proper Noun and a pronoun in a sentence. They take it slow. The kids are going to be the ones to decide when they get married. Because every adult couple should make their children feel that their opinion is as important as the adult's opinion. Even though the kids are immature and don't have the experience adults have, we should make them just as important as us! So take Tommy at his word and you can take that to the bank!
We should all be proud of Laura for crossing the six month threshold of being sober and clean. Do you realize that most people who go to rehab will relapse? Of course "most people" are not addicts -- BUT of the people whoe ARE addicts, most relapse.
But Laura is strong and taking it one day at a time because she can't understand the concept of planning and projhecting what might happoen tommorrow based upon today's choices.
Laura might seem sometimes like a happy go lucky kind of girl who just takes life as it comes, but we see from this that she is stronger than you might think. Sure she's dumber than a post, BUT did anyone hear yesterday how a lot of people called in to the Showgram and said how Laura inspired them? Addicts supporting addicts! That's the new J & J theme!!! You can't argue with that. She has inspired people whether some people here think she did or not.

I am so humbled that I could actually have insulted your almighty exhaulted leader Jake. But come on there are plenty of clever and funny things being posted here. The clown graphics yesterday were great. L13's recent post very funny. You don't need a leader.
Well, based upon the fact that nothing you've ever posted has ever been "funny" or "clever"......you should be humbled -- BUT Jake is NOT "exhaulted." He may be "exhausted," but, if you mean "exalted," Jake is an equal to Boris85, (HEY! DILBERT is *"85" ALSO!!! hmmmmm?) Some people here don't understand what Laura has been through. I mean the people who are not drunks and addicts.
She did lotsa sole searching at Hazledon rehab in Oregon. She woke up one moring and didn't know where she was. How many sober people do that? Well, Laura did!
Then she did more sole searching at Sobriety By The Sea in Newport Beach. It's tortue to be in Newport Beach!!
Witch sounds like a beach hotel but it was like work for Laura to be in rehab. SHe had to do meetings, and write stuff and talk about herself and not do drugs and drink -- that's a hard job for an addict!
There are chores to do, like, make your bed and clean your bathroom; homework to do, like write down the messages the counselors give you in rehab lectures; classes to go to, like, "What to do after your spouse leaves you,".
She even had to go "PP" in front of somebody to prove it was her own yurin sample there. Do you know how many baloons she wasted during this process?
And now that she's been back she had to adjust to her marriage crumbling down and having to live at Little Tommy's house. What could be worse?
So she knows she has to be there more than ever for the kids. She knows her kids are going through a lot with her having been gone for 3 months and now their parents splitting up. She's doing what she knows how to do to reissure the kids that she's there for them and she loves them and they love her and Dave loves the kids still, even though they aren't together. Cause, she knows that as happy as she is about being an alcoholic -- the kids have a hard time adjusting to such happiness. Kids are sometimes selfish and fail to accept adult's happiness when they do drugs and drink. Things happened with Laura and Dave witch she never talks about, like the fights, and violence, and drunken stupor failures to take care of the kids....but they still happened. She just wants the kids to be happy and to get through it all together. Cause kids that are not happy are unhappy -- and unhappy people drink -- so she just wants the kids to be happy without drinking.
So cut Laura a break because she has been through some things that other people have not been through. Other people like, sober, responsible, adults who know how to live without drugs and alcohol, and adults who are not shopping addicts, and adults who do not shop at 7-11..... Rehab is not like being on vacation.

...then she goes and F's it up, and ends her, less selfish than usual entry with how *SHE* gets to meet Nellie olsen.
FOR CHRIST SAKE. :disa:
Sometimes I think of a man, sitting across a kitchen table from laura, shaking his head back and forth, leaned back, in a wooden chair, with no arms, hands tucked behind his head and with a raised voice asking laura to "shut the heeeelllll up!".

RE-POSTED by Dilbert-1985
Some people here don't understand what Laura has been through.
It's like being on vacation without a Mai-Tai
funny as always Jake...my fav is how everyone continues to post "witch" instead of which...I know dilbert posted it that way but it amuses me. Seriously whoever writes as him needs to go back to school.

Oh, my I do hope that Laura and Charlie and Evie snuggled up together last night to watch one of her favorite shows "Intervention." There were 2 back to back episodes last nite.
I bet there were fun little family moments and conversations together. In the memorable words of Jer....and the violins playing..."It went a li'l bit like this...."
LBM: "Wow, look at how she crashed against the bookcase and fell on the floor! Remember when Mommy did that? Did you hear how many bones and stuff she broke?"
Charlie: "Man, she's messed up. You never looked that bad, Mom...well, close, but not that bad."
Evie: "Did she get to have little paper umbrellas in her drinks like you used to? And look she sleeps a lot, and yells at people, just like you used to do. Does she have that white powder stuff we weren't supposed to see you sniffing?"

I'm a lurker, but I just wanted to add that there is a bar IN the arcade section at Dave & Busters. How convenient for LBM. It's against the far back wall, right next to all the fun and games. And no, I wouldn't dream of taking a seven- and three-year-old there, particularly on a Friday night when it's full of drunk adults and rowdy teenagers.

I don't choose the "Ignore" feature for Dilbert 1985 because the stupid posts make me giggle. It's as if the poster inhaled helium before writing. Or another drug that creates verbal diarrhea. Is there a doctor in the house? I need help. You see, against the better judgement of the voices inside my head, I cyber-ported myself into Not-so-litte Tummy's and LBM's abode. What is wrong with me? Not only did I scar my retinas and imprint the image of LT's Freak Den indelibly on my brain, but I put myself in serious danger. We all know that LT is the master of the internet stealth, right? Well, I'll bet once I clicked on that video link, he was able to install a secret camera into my computer monitor. Now he can see me! (Wait, I'm flipping off my monitor just in case. Ok, I'm done.)
What is wrong with me that I'd give those two publicity hounds an additional count on their "views" log? Here's what I learned while I was scouting out the dark side:
1) FT really is fat. I don't know what that freak looked like 6 months ago, but he's a big old fatty right now.
2) FT's house is as vacous as his mind. House -- blank walls, LT -- blank mind.
3) Laura Bugs Me.
4) Tommy is really, really fat and short and sort of orange. Borus is right ... he's the spawn of the Oompa Lumpas.

Recently, it was asked of me, "Is Jake really referring to himself in the third person?"
Actually, this is an interesting question.
This is a thread. No one involved is real. My name isn't "Jake." Just as, 11ListerNot's name isn't 11ListenerNot.
We, the writers on this thread, are ALL third person. We orbit this Showgram as outside, objective, evaluators of what is "crap."
I am not Jake. I have a real life, a different name, and many things that are more "realistic" than this thread. BUT--- the ability to respond to this staion's "Theater of the Absurd" makes life a bit more enjoyable.
Is "Jake" sensitive? YES! He is only trying to "push" the effort. Maybe his Sh*t isn't good at times. Maybe he is an arrogant pr*ck!
Okay, "Jake" can deal with that -- just as Boris, and Texan, and Wabbit have to deal with their posts ---- and the feedback they get.
We are ALL third Person!!!! That's what makes this thread so wonderful.
If I write..."Jake needs to get more of a balance." I am NOT writing third-person. ---- I am writing, "The guy who writes as 'Jake,' should probably get more of a balance."
My apology for being too "real" for the thread. I love this site! I love the rhythm and tempo of the posters.......I just don't enjoy the irrelevant, outside, adjudication.
The thread is not "real." Just as "jeff & jer" are NOT real.

Great suggestion! Maybe, you should go see "The Wizard of Oz!"
You see, the Wizard is not real. And, the Land of Oz is a figment of belief! Funny, but the Wizard, represents the hope we have for a solution. You see, Dorothy was living a "dream?"

I liked this woman so much and I felt her desire to do this. FH might just become the next diet/workout guru? Say it isn't so. Somebody pinch me. Tell me it is a fleeting moment of brain gap.

For some reason, I thought Tommy had known Michelle longer. Not that much longer, but at least more than 2 months. From his blog yesterday:
"Today, is kind of my 2 month anniversary of meeting Michelle. I met her on July 8th going up Cowles Mountain. HEY, wait, THAT MEANS COWLES SHOULD BE MY FAVORITE place, because that’s where I met Michelle. J Well, we only met 2 months ago and we’ve been engaged for over 2 weeks now. We kind of both reminded each other of this milestone and we both acknowledged how FAST that was to be engaged. Well, it was fast, but it was also SO RIGHT to do."
Maybe Michelle should STOP going to wedding related stuff if the kids really are the ones to decide when the wedding will occur. Who am I kidding. Tommy is just telling himself that to make himself feel better about it all.

Stay tuned to Star 94.1 and listen to the Jeff and Jer Radio Showgram. This week they will be talking more about Tommy Tube and how it's going. That will be fun to hear about.
How in the heck did somebody get Laura and Tommy's faces in the Tele Tubbies a few pages back? How the heck do you guys do stuff like that on a computer?
Hopefully Laura will tell us how things went at Dave and Busters. You guys can assume the worst about Laura but she's been through a lot and is staying on track to meet her goals of soberity, totally.
See the reason she can't just spend unstructurued time with the kids is because of her living at Little Tommy's. She doesn't want to just bring the kids and create all that "kaos" at Tommy's house, so that's why she would rather take the kids out someplace, since she doesn't have her own place to take them. So she wants to limit the time they are at Tommy's, thats all.
That was nice of Jeff to talk about High School Musical the other day too, because we know Jeff is big on the values things, and he said how in Grease people got "nocked up" but nothing bad happens in High School Musical. Witch is nice to see so that kids don't have to get exposed to things they shouldn't be exposed to.

Laura has worked very hard to get to where she is. She's has had problems of course but has worked hard to get there and stay there. Good job like working on the Jeff and Jer Radio Showgram are hard to come by in the radio business. She's juggling lots of stuff. She's dealing with her struggles to overcome addiction, she's dealing with all that stuff with Dave, she's dealing with not having a place of her own to live, she's dealing with juggling everything that a mom does with the kids. She's just juggling all of that plus going to her meetings. She's just juggling a lot of things in life and she's being the best mom that she knows how to be. This is the point where some people missed the point. She's doing the best she can, considering her marriage has fallen apart and she's scrambling on the back end of things to figure out what to do. She is not Mary Poppins to the kids and never will be. She's just herself and that's all anybody can expect her to be. She's a working mother, a separated mother, a single mother, a mother who has had problems in life, and we should all just take a deep brath and cut her a break because she's juggling a lot of serious issues. Some of us in life have issues that come one at a time, but she's juggling all these issues at the same time. So let's hope she continues on the straight and arrow because she is doing a good job which some people just don't seem to see about.

The hell you say, she has all that spare time to watch all those TV shows this coming season? I'm thinking the time would be better spent either (a) spending it with her kids not watching TV or (b) going to the gym. Has she looked at herself on that TommyTube video?

See the reason she can't just spend unstructurued time with the kids is because of her living at Little Tommy's. And, as Tubby Tube shows you, everything at Tommy's IS structured, so she can't have her "unstructured" kids there alot of the time.
She doesn't want to just bring the kids and create all that "kaos" at Tommy's house, so that's why she would rather take the kids out someplace, since she doesn't have her own place to take them. Lots of homeless people do this as well, so the kids get some good "playtime" and meet lots of interesting mobile families when Laura takes them. So she wants to limit the time they are at Tommy's, thats all.
That was nice of Jeff to talk about High School Musical the other day too, because we know Jeff is big on the values things, and he said how in Grease people got "nocked up" but nothing bad happens in High School Musical. Except for the smokin' hot full-frontal, nude photo of the star that's cirulating on the Internet! (Which I only read about today but don't want to actually look at cause it will offend Jeff's values.)
Witch is nice to see so that kids don't have to get exposed to things they shouldn't be exposed to. Obviously, High School Musical kids are better exposing themselves rather than having to be exposed to things that aren't good to be exposed to.
Can't wait till tomorrow and another Jeff and Jer Radio Showgram. Cause right now, I'm tired of trying to remove 2 gallons of blue paint from my stomac....er, walls[/QUOTE]

can't wait to hear Tommy tell us all about how the Chargers won, and he was there to see it, so that must have been the reason why they won. And with Michelle there, they were able to share their love for everyone in the stadium to feel because they're so in love, and I'm sure the Chargers all felt that love, and that's another reason why they won. Tommy and Michelle are so lucky - I know that I can ONLY HOPE to one day meet the man of MY dreams and get engaged to him after only knowing him for 7 weeks - that would be the most awesome thing ever. I'm hoping that the love I find with this man that I've only known for 7 weeks would be that of the love that Paul McCartney had for Linda.

From Tommy's Saturday Blog
Today, at Iron I saw so many of the regulars that are actually MY FRIENDS now and they all are looking great and looking so good from these workouts. I kind of feel that I am letting them down, because they are doing so well and I’m actually struggling with getting back to my “food intake” of March and April. Like I said, I feel really good and I’m in shape and I may be the best in shape chubby dude in the country.
Umm... yeah Tommy. You sure are in shape! Round is a shape... Did anyone get the great pleasure of seeing the Fat Tummy all painted up like a blimp at the Charger Game?

I apologize for those who block this moron! I can't help myself. This is stunning in its ability to make personal decisions seem to appear as if they were outside forces "attacking" one's life. It is also stunning how poorly he writes -- what a credit to Chula Vista's educational system.
She's just herself and that's all anybody can expect her to be. She's a working mother, a separated mother, a single mother, a mother who has had problems in life, and we should all just take a deep brath and cut her a break because she's juggling a lot of serious issues. WTF?!?!?!?!
This woman has lived a self-serving life-style for decades, paid little attention to her choices, sacrificed a married life and its stability for the right to drink and snort drugs, CHOSE to become a shallow-tv-addict-with-little-intellectual-stimulation, wrapped herself around crappy, weak-willed friends, remained a "party-hard" 24-year-old no matter what her chronological age might be, and decides to blame each and every CHOICE on "problems in life?!?!?!"
Give me and all of us a HUGE F***ING BREAK!
This is precisely what makes me absolutely despise this showgram, its participants, its message, its attitude, its sycophant followers, and its bloated-producer-post-as-if-we-don't-get-who-you-are-you-fat-piece-os sh*t-pretending-to-be-part-of-this-thread tube!
Let me tell you about "dealing with life."
My best friend Carol, raised two wonderful kids. She was a smile. She graduated from USC (I forgave her as a UCLA grad should), met her soon-to-be husband, moved to San Diego and began a married life. She had a wicked laugh, a cruel sense of humor, a love of life and a spirit that never quit. Her laugh was infectious, and she could light up any room the moment she entered. She also had undetected breast cancer.
She worked to secure a marriage while her husband lost his job, relocated and started a new career. The corporation he worked for, for 26 years, tried to deny health benefits for Carol's cancer. They had to hire a lawyer and sue. They got their money -- but it cost them so much pain and sorrow and time.
In the midst of all their troubles, she hosted dinner parties, birthday parties, family gatherings, and casual outings for her chidren. She made lunches, went shopping for groceries, mailed birthday cards, called friends, kept a beautiful home --- oh, and by the way, she daily fought breast cancer, and died - beautifully.
She "juggled" life -- and life killed her. She was beautiful, witty, wickedly sarcastic, completely devoted to her husband and children, and did so much more than "the best she can." My best friend died painfully and left behind two beautiful children, a husband, and family and friends that will always remember her courage, her will to survive and her dedication to not being a victim. "Life deals -- you play" was her motto.
Don't tell me Laura Cain is "struggling." Don't tell me people who take a risk while de-valuing others, deserve sympathy when the risk pays off. Tell me how any ONE thing LBM suffers compares to Carol's life, Carol's commitment to others, Carol's dignity while dying... and then MAYBE, perhaps MAYBE, I'll believe SOME of the crap you write Tommy. You simply do NOT get it -- that's what makes you such a revolting waste of space.
I apologize to my fellow posters for rambling-- it's personal and it hurts! I've seen a 12-year-old girl watch her momma's casket roll down the aisle of a church. I've heard the muted sobs of a 14-year-old boy whose mother was his biggest fan. I've hugged a man who wondered how he could possibly replace the loss of the center of his universe.....tell me, again, Tommy, how sorry I should feel for Laura -- and why? I'd like to know so I can tell Carols' children how others also suffer just as they've suffered and how it all makes sense. Tell me, Tommy, how Laura does it considering "she's not Mary Poppins..."

This morning 5am, Jeff said "when I read bad stuff about me on the internet, I realize it's not me who has the problem but the people who write the mean bad stuff who have the problems..."
I guess he lives by the theory- If I say it out loud it must be true.
Are there other boards like this one who mock the J&J trainwreck? My guess is that our little mosquito is Elizabeth sticking up for her Grandpa, er I mean Dad.
Unlike a lot of you this is my real name. People say "hey aren't you Jessi's mom?" and I say "yeah I'm JesseeezMom!" so I have no imagination.
Jake all I have to say is cancer SUCKS and your friend sounded like a wonderful person. I have lost 6 family members to cancer (all different kinds) the last being my 23yo step daughter she left behind 5 children, diagnosed when her youngest was 3mo w/brain cancer, dead just after his 1st birthday.

09-10-2007, 07:17 AM
Jake, you hit the nail on the head with your story. It underlines why we are all so over the J&J show. These are people who make bad decisions and create their own problems and then reward themselves when they "move on" telling everyone how great they are. They create their own drama with their choices. Those of us who live in the real world where life happens and things happen that are unfair and out of our control, but somehow find a way to handle it without fanfare and just deal are sick of the spewgram.
Meanwhile, if FH works out so much then WinTF is his food intake? He has to be stuffing burritos and lumpia down 24/7 to maintain that figure. Oh, but that's right we should have sympathy for him for his weight struggles. Geez, its so hard to not put food in his mouth. Maybe he can right a song called My Own Fatdom to express his struggles.

Of course Laura feels sorry for Brittney's horrible performance. They are basically the same - washed up wannabes still trying to live out their their teen years, except Brittney has a minor talent for lip-synching and a better body (i.e. a better rack). They've both been in rehab, they both have neglected kids, they both have a collection of junk in the trunk, they are both infatuated with Chris Angel. It's uncanny I tell you.

Gah, it SLAYS me to hear/read Dilbert, Laura, Tommy, say "the marriage fell apart." No, sweetie, YOU fell apart, and abandoned your marriage LOOOOONNNNGG before its demise. I'll never forget Laura's passive-aggressive entry about "some people just don't take their vows seriously-for better or worse" she was blaming Dave for their separation!!!
No, Dil-wad, she's not juggling, juggling doesn't entail spa treatments, shopping every damn day of the week, wasting a whole Saturday to watch MTV's reruns of America's Next Top Model, etc...

It was really tough for them to pick up the phone and call a nanny agency and gosh, give them a break for not getting their hair done. It's really hard to get in the car and drive to the salon. Not to mention picking the phone up to make an appointment. They are such big deals why can't a hairdresser come to them? It's only fair since they've been through so much in life. Laura--self indulgent and doesn't get it vs. All the Carol's out there...living or lived life as it should be. It's a reminder we need to get our priorities straight and STOP the Michael Vick's and START the Drew Brees. Forget the Laura Cains' and REMEMBER the Carol's in our lives.

Look, my world is just about perfect today, so nobody better mess it up. Here are the reasons why. I will not try to say I a hve ten of them, I just don't have that kind of attention span.
1. He-who-may-not-be-named-YET-still-merits-mocerky is supposed to be gone. Or, in the worst case scenario for today, it will have to assume a new identity. I am sure the Mod did that just for me. which brings me to item 2....
2. I'm certain the Mod (Merry Mod, specifically) is quite taken by my devastating good looks, charm, and wit. I'm more certain than ever, since I believe everything I say. And I say it often, and repetition makes truth, as we all know from he-who...oh, please, you know to whom I refer, please, I can't do the hyphen typing. Add on to that, the Mod has never seen me, which makes it easier than if he had some actual idea of what I look like.
3. The Chula Vista School District is holding an emergency session to try to undo the damage done by one of its more visible residents. Note I did not say "outstanding graduates."
4. The Wicked Witch of the West is dead.

Just looking at the thread stats on this forum and I found it quite interesting that this thread is just over 2 years old. The Star 94.1 thread which gives codes for FREE stuff is almost one year old. Look at the replies, Drama Club has about 5 times the number of replies. Look at the views, about 5 times the number of views as the Star thread. I guess that makes us about 2.5 times as popular! Tummy knows about blog hits and who's blog is the most popular, wonder what he thinks of this?

WAIT: Laura’s calling me on the phone, hold on:
------3 minutes later-------
Oh no! Laura is crying! She told me she just got her hair colored and it looks like a carrot. She said her hair is bright orange. She says she can’t go out in public like this. I couldn’t tell if Laura was cracking up about it or just so distraught. OH NO!
I have to call her back. I will continue this blog in a few minutes. OH NO!

I wonder how much she spent for her orange hair. I would love to see a picture.

I think I know what happened with her hair.
she was lured in by a lurker on THIS site...he or she offered Laura free hair coloring in exchange for unlimited and frequent shilling.
Whoever did that...wow. Clever and inventive...AND a fine understanding of that human's nature.
Boris! LOL! "freaky cult of chunky walkers" I would prefer to say "Freaky cult of sycophant steppers."
I think I may have seriously misjudged Laura. I had no idea she knew carrots were orange. I would have thought she would have said "cheeto-orange" but "Carrot-orange?" Maybe she has turned over a new leaf!! Maybe she has changed for the better?

I see clown school in her future. Maybe her dead father is trying to give her a clue from beyond the grave. He left a penny fro her, but she didn't get the hint, I guess. He's been trying to tell her she's an idiot!! His favorite past-time was getting wasted and going to the circus, and his favorite color was orange. I bet if Tummy takes a picture of Laura, we'd see orbs around her head.

can't wait to hear Tommy tell us all about how the Chargers won, and he was there to see it, so that must have been the reason why they won.

Jake,
I know your post about Carol is pages ago now but I just read it today and your friend sounded like a true role model. I wish she could have stayed longer for her family and society. I hope that her kids never forget what a great mom she was.
There are so many people who are in worse shape than Laura and this showgram is so fixated on her petty problems in life. If they could take all that energy they use telling everyone how Laura's improved and actually gear it towards helping others in more need than her they could actually do something good for a change.
Forget the fact that there are starving people across the world, diseases, living conditions we will never have to experience, and Wars in other countries. In the scheme of things we are all doing pretty damn well for ourselves. Im thankful that I dont have to worry if today is the day my house is bombed, or if Im going to die of malaria. I just wish these people who make issues over nothing would have to see how much worse their lives could be....
Anyways, I just wanted to get all of that out. Jakes story gave me a reality check that life is great and rather than worrying about the everyday stresses in life we should just enjoy our time here and live life to the fullest.

I didn't even watch the whole thing, but they show more of their living areas and sleeping areas (I didn't get that far, but it promises to deliver). Moochelle was present. I think I caught the first 3 minutes.
I have to give my kid a bath so TT doesn't compete with family time! I'll view it later, after my precious is asleep.
Just thought you might want to venture to their site. Dang, I guess I could have posted the link. Time's Up!

Tommy is such an ass. In his first (of 3!) blog for today, he's making fun of an ice cream vendor who apparently was a little confused at how much change he owed Tommy. What??? Why is he making fun of someone for being bad at math when he has no concept of grammar and spelling? The vendor probably isn't bad at math at all... he was probaby just distracted by Tommy's giant blue stomach and fat head. What if that vendor is a fan of the show and reads his blog? I'd be really bummed if I saw someone making fun of me. I guess that probably doesn't matter to Fatty because they have so many fans that they can afford to drive them away and make fun of them.

Oh my gosh, so many of you wonderful Apex-pals to comment on and so little time. Here goes: Jake, I was truly touched by your tribute to your friend. All I can say is that truly there are more people like Carol in the world than there are like LBM and the other self-absorbed jackasses from that show. We just don't hear about them because they don't spend their empty lives talking about themselves. Tonight, Carol's family will be in my good old Irish-Catholic bedtime prayers.
Boris, I am going to sing the Umpa loompa song on the way to work tomorrow instead of listening to the 12 minutes of crap on 94.1 that would normally fill my time. (6 mins of Jeff interrupting and Jer doing forced-fake laughs followed by 6 mins of LBM's nasal commercial breaks.)
GirlfromOr -- the ice cream vendor was probably distracted with thoughts of why someone so obese needed to be buying ice cream. But you know what, I'll bet Tummy got an A+ in calculus at Castle Park High, so he has room to laugh at dum peeple.
IamSheens -- Yes, every newcomer will be suspect. In fact, I'm beginning to look at my own family members with suspicion. And by the way, regarding your question about the Charger game -- do you think the Jumbotron is big enough to capture that belly???
Wonk -- do you think LBM got the orange hair because she liked your clown photos?
I'll pay a nickle to the person who watches the TummyTube video and gives me the highlights (lowlights?) goodnight.

OMG! I just watched TummyTube - those people are so dysfunctional, it amazes me. Laura is wandering around basically making fun of the house (it is pathetic, that house). But, it's better than the cardboard box she would have been living in. Tommy looks gigantic. That house looks like a halfway flop house - mismatched furniture, nothing hanging on the walls, a pathetic plant here and there. And OMG - that front yard! I guess they don't have an association in that neighborhood, because he's in volation of every CCR I can think of with the freaking skateboard ramp and a freaking trampoline in the FRONT yard! What the hell is in the backyard if he needs all that stuff up front. One day, a kid is going to get hurt on that stupid stuff, and they're going to sue the pants off of him.
It all boggles my mind.....and my mind is hard to boggle.

I'll pay a nickle to the person who watches the TummyTube video and gives me the highlights (lowlights?) goodnight.
It starts out with them on the sofa where FH sleeps, with drool stains and..other small stains of some sort:dead:
LBM is eating and raiding the fridge for a Redbull, while FH talks about flowers he has sent to his house 3 times a week. They go into the dining room, you know where the drum set is, and talk about his guitars and LBM keeps jumping in trying to steal FH's lime light. They go back in the dirty sofa room where Mr. Moochelle is with her kids. FH gets a guitar and sings his song. Pardon me for a sec...I am going to throw up.
K...He walks into the garage and shows the tramp (no- not the one in the dirty sofa room with the kids), the hideous one one the front lawn. FH then hands off the floor to LBM where she tromps upstairs and lays down on the bed almost doing a "like a Vigin Dance" while talking about her new book. That is basically it.

Did any of you see the Arts section in yesterday's Union-Tribune? The main story was about the renewed interest in ballroom dancing and the side article was about the fundraiser "event" that LBM is dancing in on Saturday night.
http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20070909/news_mz1a09fund.html
Is anyone planning on attending? Care to report back on LBM's performance? Secretly video tape it and post to YouTube? Pfffft! (Actually I would love to go watch them all if I had that kind of disposable income...)
At least they didn't put her picture in the newspaper...then she really would be "Ms. Big Deal San Diego 2007".

The report from the webcam (aka TommyTube) is that it will hurt your eyes in more than one way. The lighting isn't right. It's either dark or they turn on lights and it adjusts, or it is too bright.
Things I took note of: Lack of art/photos/pictures decor left much to be desire. The kitchen was modern, with a large (and empty) wine rack (I wouldn't recognize a Barfon Cabinet if I saw one). I mean, you could at least stock it with fizzy water or bottles of VOSS. The bed that Laura sleeps in looked lumpy and I wasn't certain if it was a SleepTrain or not. I'm surprised she didn't put a plug in there (maybe in a future episode?)
The award for best use of space would be the garage gym.
I admit I felt SadSadSadSad after TommyTube ended. Was it a waste of time? Yes. I think that future episodes will be best viewed with an adult beverage.
I also see that the LA WeightLoss sponsor is no longer associated with FH's blog. I don't know if this is recent or if y'all mentioned it already.
On another note, this morning when I was listening to the No-Gram on the radio, Laura was talking about her new word 'grot' a blend between gross and hot. Her example of a grot guy would be Tommy Lee or Criss Angel.

Saw it. Taped it. think it went like this: (Need to identify voices since I'm transcribing a video...)
BLE = Barbara Lee Edwards
DSWG = Dumb-Sh*t-Weather-Guy
LSSFI = Lackey-Side-Seat-Fill-In
BLE: "Guess our weather is settling back to a normal pattern of cool nights and warm days!"
DSWG: "That's right, and there's more of this in store!"
GTC -- (that's go-to-commercial)
Off-air: BLE- " Why am I interviewing her? It's not like she's a teenage star in rehab!"
Director: "Yes, it is like she's a teenage star in rehab. There are countless women between the ages of 32 and 46 who adore her -- she's their role-model."
BLE: "Role model for WHAT?!" "I'm goin' on a three-day hike for people who are dying. Aren't we role-models?"
Director: "Yes, but the listeners are too shallow and still would rather listen to her."
"In 5-4-3-..."
BLE: "We're back and tonight we have a gripping interview with a woman who represents all that is San Diego! Star 94.1's Laura Cain! Welcome Laura."
LBM: "Hi, it's nice to be here."
BLE: "So, a successful job, two lovely kids, a handsome husband-father, a life-to-die-for.....why the booze and drugs?"
LBM: "My daddy died, and I find pennies everywhere cause he's trying to contact me. I see orbs -- they infested our house so we got Bardon Cabinets -- but still more orbs! My brother has red hair, I keep losing my lotto tickets, my momma drinks and smokes (I always wanted to be like my mamma), my naps are too short, I'm running out of room on my Tivo to tape the 313 shows I watch each week, I feel like a dancing hippo in the celebrity dance contest ---- who could handle all that pressure!!!??"
BLE: "Wow! I bet the listeners had no idea how difficult your life is!"
LBM: "Well, I try to explain each day in my Diary -- you know....Laura's Diary on the JeffandJer Showgram website, how difficult and unfair my life is. By unfair I mean "for better or worse" means you're supposed to accept the "worse" I offer and not be offended cause you offer "better!"
LSSFI: "Um... it sure seems like she had everything handed to her on a silver-platter. Are we sure she has troubles?"
BLE: (Ignoring LSSFI)"Laura, you have succesfully completed rehab. Congratulations!!!! How did you do it? It seems so many people can't relate to having it all and throwing it all away because of such a weak personality. How did you overcome such hardships?"
LBM: "I did it for my babies!!!!" "My babies could have been raised for 16 years by an alcoholic, drug-addict, but I said, 'Damn it!' 'I'm stronger than this, I'm better than this, and gosh darnit, I'm kind of a big deal! Six years of addiction is more than enough!!!'"
"Plus, once the court ordered me to attend a program, I knew I could over-come the negative issues that were dragging me down!"
BLE: "There you have it. A Jeff and Jer icon, revealing intimate details that describe how a succesful radio personality can over-come life's hardship's, an abandoned marriage, homlessness, and STILL come out on top! Laura, you a true inspiration for us all!"
LSSFI: "She f**ked up her marriage by doing drugs and she's a local hero? I don't get it?"
Producer: "That's why you're a lackey-side-seat-fill-in!"
BLE: "I'm BLE and I thank Laura for such a revealing, honest portrayal of her hardships. Up next, my workouts with Tommy Sablon! Stay tuned! You don't want to miss Tommy as he hits on me behind his girlfriends back!!!"
Director: "We're out!"

You are all so kind to recognize, there are SO MANY beautiful and talented people out there who are NOT "celebrities." I value inward depth so much more than outward talent....and I thank you all for recognizing this star of mine.....

Well, I went and viewed the "new and not-improved" version of TummyTub(e). It's just a longer (unedited?) version of the one that they put up last week.
I was not impressed (again). Tummy has a huge house that he has turned into a waystation for just about everyone in San Diego County. He's got LBM living there, his kids, her kids, Moochelle and her kids, the neighborhood kids, the mooching workout "buddies"...heck, I think I should go over there, too! (My son would certainly like all the tv's, trampoline, swimming pool, etc.)
I wonder if his insurance agent is aware that he has a trampoline in his front yard? Aren't they the #1 reason that kids end up in the Emergency Room? I'm sure that could cause some major liability issues since it's out there for ANYONE to use.
And what's with LBM eating her way through the whole video? You know, for being a guest in that house she sure is pretty insulting to Tummy - he hasn't hung but 4 pictures, he doesn't have any plates, he doesn't have a dresser, his big screen TV is dying....if I was in her position (rehab, divorce, etal) I definitely would NOT be insulting the person that was providing a roof over my head!
They try so hard to make people believe that they are "just like us" - but they are so far off the map it's not even funny. They all need a serious reality check.

I too saw Tommytub, er Tommytube and it was bad. VERY BAD! Here we have one forty-something and a 39 y/o, both of whom have kids, engaging in this B.S. I was actually embarassed for the two of them. It is soooooo bad that no one could possibly enjoy it and look forward to it. I can't fathom that thought but there are same dullsters out there who will salivate for it.
I ask you, Tommy and Laura, what is your motivation for doing this? Must be their silly notion that, as Big Deals, everyone is interested in their every move. It was dull, anticlimatic and of extremely low quality. I've got to think that one day, LBM and TS will look back at this and get really embarassed....as well they should.

Oh, I forgot - I was 1/2 listening to Channel 8 news this afternoon at around 8, and they said something about Laura Cain being on, and that she was going to discuss her trials and tribulations with rehab - OMG! Could she just do something that keeps her out of the limelight for just a few seconds each day? I didn't get a chance to watch it because I had to finish spanking my laptop - it was misbehaving......sometimes I feel really bad about making fun of all of the AV geeks in high school - I sure could use one of them now.
What I saw was this: News 8 was doing the segment about Britney's trainwreck VMA performance, but the bottom of the screen had the headline, "Laura Cain's comeback." Well, that wasn't the exact wording, but I found it so bizarre that it had Laura Cain's name under Britney's picture, and the caption said something I didn't understand, like there was a backlash at Laura over her commentary? Or something about her rehab? If anyone else saw, enlighten me please!

He didn't even tip the poor guy. Cheapo! And what's up with all this fake crying in the Blogs? BS!

I apologize for those who block this moron! I can't help myself. This is stunning in its ability to make personal decisions seem to appear as if they were outside forces "attacking" one's life. It is also stunning how poorly he writes -- what a credit to Chula Vista's educational system.
I'm sorry guys for being behind the curve ball...wasn't able to catch up yesterday so I'm doing it now..
I've got to say WOW to jakes posting. It gave me boosegumps (yes the spelling was meant that way) Jakes posting makes me want to look inside of myself and see if I'm half the woman this LADY was.

This will be LBM's reason for having to go see Kree. So when she sinks back into her addictions, she can blame the person who effed up her hair and forced her to have to go see Kree, hair stylist and dealer to the wannabe celebs of San Diego.

Do we know that Kree re-did her hair?
If so, isn't it considered "Bad Form" for pro hair stylists to "do" clients at home?
And let's not explore the whole concept of what "do" means. That's a little much for me to think about.
I agree this all may be staged...LBM is looking for free hair coloring. It's probably just a shampoo in, and some unsuspecting generous stylist will be foregoing her fee and tip for the shill queen..

I bet Laura went to a "house" in rural Poway to get her hair done AND to pick up some drugs. It was none other than a crack house. That's why she did not realize what had happened until she got home (i.e., sobered up). And that's why the dealer, I mean stylist, made such a big mistake. It looked so good, in a psychedelic way, to her initially. "Oh yah baby, you look grooooovy!!" Either that, or she went to Fantastic Sam's and got her hair done by Sunflower who learned to color hair in a backroom in Saigon.:bandit:

She seems to have a rocky relationship with her brother - probably reminds her too much of herself. She must have come from one screwed up family. That is an interesting thought: planned problems to solicit free aid. Jeff needs a truck; Jeff needs help with moving a play-set; kitchen cabinets; Stanley Steamer; Dr. Bucko; ..... and the worst of all? When callers call in and offer free assistance to these millionaires. Who ARE these people?!?!?
Why would anyone call a radio show and offer hair repair? How desperate for attention can one be that one would ingratiate themselves into the live's of radio "celebrities?"

Too much time and money leads to people doing stupid things. Like getting engaged after 2 months. And NOW they appear to be moving the wedding along quicker than Tommy earlier stated. Did you see that in his blob yesterday?
And then there's talk of moving to Escondildo. He had never mentioned buying a new, or even another home three months ago. In fact at that time he was swearing off the ladies, wasn't he?
Tommy, slow down. For now, stick with the oh-so-commited-to-our-loving-and-catching-butterflies-relationship drawer that you have at each other's homes. Nothing says commitment like that, regardless of whether or not your relationship is healthy and real or simply one built on ego, sex, desperation and money.

And $4 million - that's not a lot of money when you're a "big deal". I'm sure it has a lot of rooms - one for Jer and Clownface (and I'm sure they each have their own separate rooms), a room for each cat (so another 12), a room for Laura so that she has a place to go when Tommy throws her out, and a room for Carmelita - their live-in maid and masseuse.

Well, I watched the clip of Laura's interview on KFMB. She was wearing the clothes she wore in the picture off her clown hair and she was wearing a hat. Must've been done this morning? God she has an enormous head! They were interviewing her about Britney, as if that is critical news. They said Britney's life has paralleled Laura's in many ways! What!! I am sure Laura was disturbingly flattered by that remark. "I'm finally somebody!" They both abuse drugs and alcohol and are horrible mothers - but Britney is famous - she may have no talent, but she's famous. Laura has no talent and wants to be famous - there's a difference!!!!
