Monday September 17, 2007 2:30pm: Well, sit down I think I need to tell you something! For lunch, I met Michelle at the courthouse. I was kind of dressed up a little more than usual. I’m waiting in the hallway where all the courtrooms and all the county offices are. I’m getting really nervous because Michelle has not arrived yet. I’m wondering what she will be wearing to get my mind off her being late. My phone is ringing off the hook from family members and a few people from the radio station are calling in. Minutes later STILL no Michelle. Now, I’m thinking the worse. Well, she finally arrives and she looks great. Just like in the movies. Her hair was as beautiful as can be and she looked so lovely. Her dress was blue with polka dots and it showed off her great tan legs. She was wearing heels which made her legs standout even more when she walked. THEN, I’m starting to get really nervous because in a few minutes I will see the judge before us and Michelle tells me he is also running late. So, we just stand there and my phone is vibrating off the hook and then FINALLY right behind us THE DOOR swings wide open and there is a man named WOODY. It’s Michelle’s boss who is a judge in San Diego. I finally get to meet this man, I’ve heard about this person LONGER than I’ve known Michelle and it was cool to meet this DNA expert. I say hello to him and tell him that I will make sure I will bring Michelle back to work in one hour. So, we went to the Litl’ Pepper Deli and had a turkey sandwich for lunch! OH, did you think we got married? No, not yet knucklehead! We just went out for lunch!
I’m so happy I made the time to take a few sandwiches up to Eddie and his classmates for lunch. When I used to take him lunch a few years ago, he wanted me to stay and eat with him. NOW, it’s like the worst thing I can say to him if I ask if he wanted me to stay for lunch now. My little 10 year old boy is growing up so fast and it’s NOT cool for him to be seen hugging his daddy anymore. Yesterday, he was out on the skateboard ramps when I went to the store. I said I was going to be back in a few minutes and went to hug him. When I hugged him in front of his friends, it was as if I stepped on his puppy or something like that. I don’t want my little boy to get any older. J Now, Vanessa-----we need to slow down the pace for her, because she’s 12 going on 28! I’m in trouble!
Well, I’m going to take a quick power nap and then go to BIKRAM YOGA. It starts at 4:30 in Mira Mesa. 90 minutes of yoga positions in a room that is worse than Miami. It’s like 110 degrees.
I am coming around slowly about the Chargers. I hope to be able to move forward with my depression from their LOSS yesterday in New England. I just can’t believe what is happening. Can one of you call Marty Shottenheimer and tell him to hurry and come back please?

I think we have called FH the wrong character from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. He's more like that annoying little girl Veruca who chews her gum all nasty and won't shut up and then blows up into a huge blueberry. So he is Veruca the Blueberry. In fact, I don't know why he keeps whining about walking for the 3 day...he should just tuck his fat head in and roll on his spherical-like body the whole way.

This is HILARIOUS!! Wow, Dannell, I can feel your frustration. Tommy never stops with his jabs at you and, obviously, doesn't care what you or your kids think. He makes his blogs sound like the kids are totally okay with him and Michelle and everything is just rosey. Did the lipstick belong to one of his girl friends that were mentioned on air, to a fellow co-worker or someone else? What a P-I-G!! You are so much better off without him. Also, I hope you don't get remarried so you can keep collecting alimony--that's what I would do if I were in your shoes--soak him until you can't soak him anymore:)

I have been lurking here for a long time and enjoying this. Amused I'm loving your insight and your guts.
I went to Vegas this weekend and was flying home last night. I see this guy standing in front of me and was convinced it was Jeff. But then I talked myself out of it, because I thought there was no way he would be in Vegas by himself, without Krusten or the kids. He kept looking at me because he knew I was looking at him.
I was shocked this morning to read on here he was there to see the dentist. So it was him. He looks so much like Jerry now. I thought he was dressed way too young for his age - especially the Vans with designs on them. Sorry I don't have any other juicy thing to add about him, but darn it I wish I would have sat next to him. He's actually the only one I kind of like on there.
SDMommy, you should call Laura's dirt phone!

How about instead of wasting money paying man hours on the diary-a, the blob and the $73 bargain of the week the station spend that money on the mental health of their employees. That would be money well spent and benefit the entire universe!

Seriously, does FH understand that he won't be able to get room service delivered to his 3-day tent? God, he is such a freaking spoiled brat. As someone said earlier - I feel sorry for the mothers who are BARELY making their fundraising goal (and the ones who aren't even close to making it) - they can't afford to have an entourage follow them, and they're taking this much more seriously than freaking FH. GOD, he is SUCH a baffoon - he makes me SO mad. He could be doing good things for this charity, and he's turned it around and made it all about HIM, which is what he does with everything. And what about Mattie - why does he never tell us about her plight, and why don't we hear from her? We hear about freaking Michelle 18x a day, and stupid Laura blathering about her hair and her freaking ugly outfits - but nothing about anything that could help that charity. Oh, and that 3-day blog that he does with Channel 8 - I'm surprised Barbara Lee-Edwards hasn't bitch-slapped him yet for being such a moron. I'm so surprised Channel 8 hasn't done a speedy exit - stage right to get away from FH and his blithering crap.
Oh, fyi - I've taken to using FH's full name so that when he does his ego Googles, he'll find that he doesn't have the fanclub that he thinks he has.

Here's my email to him:
comments: You are pathetic. This 3-day is all about YOU isn't it? It's not about the suffering that people who have had cancer go through is it? I suffered w/ bone cancer for four YEARS. There was no pace car following me with my personal massage therapist and chiropracter in it. What do you think I did when it hurt? I suffered. I cried in anguish as the cancer ravaged my bones. Four years Tommy. And you can't suck it up for 3 days? This walk is all about sacrificing your comfort and trying to put yourself in the place of those suffering with cancer so that you can gain a better understanding of what other people go through. Why don't you just admit that you are doing this walk for your ego, for publicity, and that you don't really care about the cause. If you did, you would suck it up, sleep in the tents, and suffer through it like every body else. You wouldn't have your massage therapist set up her little table and massage you at the event so that other people can look on and say, "Oh, look at Tommy! He's such a big deal." You need to humble yourself and do the walk like everyone else... not do your best to make yourself the center of attention. You have no concept of what it is to suffer. Maybe if you stopped trying to make everything about you, you'd come to realize the struggles that other people go through.
Here is his response to me:
My mother has breast cancer and my dad died from throat cancer. Take care and god bless you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Does anyone know if this is true? I PM'd Amused to find out if she knows anything about this. IF this is the case, why isn't he using this to fuel his pity party and up his ratings? Why isn't he walking for his MOM? Why isn't he using her story to raise awareness about cancer and the 3-day? Why isn't he more compassionate about the suffering that victims of cancer to through? I don't believe him, but I can almost guarentee that we'll hear all about it in his blogs soon enough, and about how his life is so hard because his mom has cancer and his dad died of it. I'm not trying to belittle Rosa or his dad if these stories are true, but with the way he shares details about his life, I'm sure we would have heard about it. I mean, his farts make his blog, but his mom's cancer doesn't? Something doesn't add up.
I responded to him with this:
So why aren't you taking this walk more seriously? Why are you making it all about you and your publicity? Why aren't you walking for your mom or the memory of your dad? Why do you act like you are more important than the other 3-day participants?
And he said:
There will be a story on the news next week. God bless you.
So I sent:
Oh, more publicity for you? Why can't you just be a normal participant? Is this news story supposed to explain why you are a self-absorbed person who is more important than the other participants? Is it supposed to explain why everything about you? Hopefully you can also explain how it is possible to exercise as much as you say you do, but still be as big as you are...
I remember reading not too long ago in one of Tommy's blobs that his mom had some health issues going on and that in time he would be able to talk about it, but just couldn't right now. And something about how some people have figured it out and emailed him. And when he's writing about her he gets all choked up and changes the subject.
Anyone else recall these blobs?
This is a great idea - we could seriously mess with the search engine results if we all put his name in the "title" line or somewhere in our comments....
I just googled Tummy's name (without the "little" as he's anything but!) and it's almost all positive "glow-y" comments about him and the Spewgram.
Should we mess with that? Maybe make them all realize that they aren't such "big deals"?
Oh trust me, that fat troll knows we are here. :wavey2: Hi Spewgram.
Today I had the radio on for the quick 5 minutes on way to work. I heard a little bit about Jeff not getting a flight out of Vegas. He was setting it up forever ... that he got one hour of sleep, and then LBM and Queery were pretending not to know why (as if it wasn't all rehearsed). They have NO IDEA what bad actors they are. LBM "Were you siiiiiccccckkkkk?????" JEFF - "Noooo, not sick." QUEERY "Was Leroy Brown siiiicccckkkk???" JEFF "Nooo, Leroy wasn't sick." They were using goofy exaggerated voices like I used to use when my kids were preschoolers and I was reading "The Three Bears." Hey, Spewgram, we aren't preschoolers. You can knock off the dramatic flair. You all suck as actors. Thanks for making me look forward to getting out of the car and going to work.
I know no one made me the queen of good behavior, but this is on my mind. (You can tell me to shut up if you want, but some folks will get what I am saying.) Let's try to do a few things on this board so as to protect the innocent.
Let us all call Amused...Amused. We'll leave it at that and not refer to him/her as anyone else or by any god-given name.
Kids (Chips, Evan, Charlie, Vanessa, Eddie, Mooche's brood, and Jeff's brood apply here. I say "Go to Town" on Jer's mangy fleabag cats) should be insult-free (looks and intelligence) as should those with any kind of disabilities. If someone is sick then I also think that should be respected too. We all know something is wrong with Rosa's health and know it's hurting Tommy. I can relate as my mom died suddenly less than 2 years ago and I am sure Tommy is scared.
Now, it does not mean that I think he is not an idiot. I do! I also think Laura is a mess, Jeff seems to be floundering, Jer is an ego a-hole and good ole Delana crashed the wrong party.
I remember a while back when Amused first came on the scene, they had a "school acquaintance" here that posted, claiming to know Amused, and said that Amused "answered questions" that proved Amused was, well, really Amused. What if that said poster is dual posting, posting as Amused as well?
I hear where you are coming from, Scrapper. I think we can give the benefit of the doubt to some extent, since we are theoretically all characters of our own making.
I think Amused is...Amused. This is all just a message board. We have had (and maybe still have) some imposters among us. Eventually, they all expose themselves.
And by the way, if FH is reading this post, he is not the learning type. He still regards BigDealin the makingMOOCH his "Fiance" which leads me to wonder if he (The Blob) realizes he is engaged to a man? We have mentioned this several times, I would think he would catch on to that. No more help on the spelling for FH. Maybe The Mooch will correct his erring ways.
Laura's Diary, September 18th, 2007
Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 12:06pm
Dear Diary,
My hair is still a bit damp from SWEAT this morning. The sweat happened yesterday afternoon! Tommy took me to my first Birkrim Yoga class and it kicked my butt! When the hot-house yoga was done, I was completely wet, so was everyone else. This is how sweaty it gets in that room: halfway through the class, we were posed on one foot with our hands in the middle of our chest and it was quiet. The only sound?...., drops of sweat falling on the mats. It sounded like rain.
I felt awesome after the class probably because I couldn't believe I actually made it through the entire hour and a half without puking or passing out. I slept pretty good, but I woke up this morning feeling kind of cruddy. I think the class must have kicked Tommy's butt as well because we both over-slept. I woke up at 5:17! I'm usually in my car speeding down the 15 at that time. I jumped outta bed, splashed water on my face, threw on some jeans and a t-shirt and ran down the stairs. That's when I saw Tommy coming through the door. He slept in, too! But, he was at Michelle's, so he must have hustled to get back to the homestead. It was like, "Hi. Bye. See ya at work."
Thank goodness I washed my body yesterday after the class. My hair, though, is feeling pretty hideous because I didn't wash it after the sweat-fest. I have to get cute by this afternoon, not only because I'm going to be picking up my babies from school today, but because it's Tommytube taping day. Oh boy, what did we get ourselves into?
See you tomorrow, Diary.
Anyone else think it's really skanky to do a bikram yoga class, sweat your brains out and NOT take a shower/wash your hair afterwards?
Tuesday September 18, 2007 9:30am: You're going to hate me for saying this, but HAPPY HOLIDAYS! For some reason, I'm in the Christmas/Holiday spirit EARLY! I usually get into it after Halloween and sometimes after Thanksgiving, but I'm ready for it now! I'm going to have the best holiday ever with the kids, family, friends, and and Michelle.
I think it's because I've been thinking about Breaking and Entering Christmas! This is when a few of my friends get together and we bring CHRISTMAS to a family that would most likely not have one. I love doing it and it's been on the air for maybe 10 years now. Eddie started going with me last year and Vanessa helped by sorting out the gifts and wrapped a few clothes for the children. I've been thinking about things to get for the family and we're still about 2 months away from even asking for letters to tell us about families to help. I just know this is going to cap off a good year!
If there's one thing I want my kids to do when I'm gone it is to take what Breaking and Entering is all about and continue to do that in their lives and maybe even on the air!
I grew up poor. I didn't know I grew up poor until I was much older, like in my 20's. I was well into my 30's when I realized my favorite Christmas I ever had was donated to me from an organization. Really! I was thinking back to when I was 6 years old and it was my first Christmas after my dad died and we got a HUGE box at the door full of clothes and balls. That was my favorite Christmas, but it took about 25 years for me to realize I was a recipient to that box because I was a poor kid from Chula Vista, but the feeling I had at that time when I was 6 was the best feeling in the world. I still remember running around with all those balls and trying on my clothes and smiling and laughing, SO THAT is my fuel or motivation to bring that to KIDS that most likely won't have a toy at Christmas.
I get many emails a day from people who agree and disagree with me on stuff we're doing or talking about on the air and we get many emails from nice listeners and we get emails from people who just HATE me or the show, but one thing that people all agree on and support is making a child smile and supporting and listening to Breaking and Entering Christmas…
So, HAPPY HOLIDAYS and I hope you too get in the spirit and remember it's all about giving. I love to give and that's the one thing I hope my kids get from me.
Do you want to be a hoodlum with me this Christmas and help take care of some families? Just email me and maybe if you qualify, you can be HOODLUM this season.
If you're new to the show: It's Jeff and Jer Breaking and Entering Christmas featuring Little Tommy and his hoodlum buddies from Chula Vista. So, you have to qualify by letting me know if you have any hoodlum experience.
Yesterday, I finally went to my 2nd Bikram Yoga class in 2 weeks. Laura came along with me and Michelle met us there and my friend EJ and Sandra was there too. It kicked my butt. BUT, it made me feel good for the rest of the night. It sure is a great workout and it's a trip how the poses get your heart rate going and that you sweat and sweat and sweat for 90 minutes. I was proud Laura made it through. Laura and Michelle are like pretzels. They can both bend their legs and put things over their head and stuff like that. I wish I was able to do the poses better. I can't sit next to Michelle anymore at Yoga. All she did was make me laugh during the whole session and you have to concentrate. Again, I did well last night by working out, but right before bed, I ate a sandwich with mayonnaise in it. I know, I know--I shouldn't do that.
I spoke to my friend Robert who works at Countywide Mortgage, NOT COUNTRYWIDE, but COUNTYWIDE and he told me I should just wait for SPRING to sell the house and buy another one. I think that's what I'm going to do. I'm not sure if I want to sell PQ, but I did get a suggestion to rent it to Laura. Maybe by the holidays, Laura will be re-married and pregnant and wanting a home to rent. JUST KIDDING! I am proud of Laura still, because she is still FOCUSED with all things going on in her life. I tried to hook her up with a friend the other day and she said, she didn't want to do that at this time in her life and she just wanted to work, be with her kids, and that's it. She even went to a meeting last night after Yoga. She's still on a roll with her commitment to going to meetings.
It's Tuesday and I think I'm going to go home and work on the show and send off some bills and then go down to check on my mom.
THINGS are going great and take care!
He probably only focuses on the negative about him and not the show...its apparent considering the content of the show is not kid friendly...
I think its sad if his mom does have cancer. But why would the eye problems be mentioned more than breast cancer? I just have a hard time believing he is doing the walk for anyone other than himself. Isn't he doing the walk supposedly for someone he knows? I forget the name...it just seems he would add some personal reasoning behind his walk like my dad died of cancer when I was young and my mom is battling breast cancer...but there never was any mention of that....something isn't right...
And I like that in the email that OregonGrl sent that he ignored the fact that the whole email was telling him to be a man and deal with the walk without the massages and everything and he totally ignored that part....which means of course the chiropractor is coming...I hope he at least pays for everyone there to get a massage that'd be a nice deed....I doubt he'd do it though...
I do applaud the fact that due to being poor as a child he is trying to make someone else's Christmas special like it was done to him. In this one case I think its fine he told the story about him growing up poor....however, it doesn't make up for us having to read it in his blog like once a week....
Lots of people grew up poor but they aren't telling people left and right....he is always trying to get sympathy in any way possible it seems like....
UGHHH!
My thoughts too! Great family theme. Laura is such an idiot, she has to whisper to Jer to ask if she's aloud to say things about the "toys" Even he said "no," so it must've been very inappropriate. Just shows what a great mom she is and how she has no common sense. On another note - her sister just got a boob job and a tattoo (the toy seller) - looks like their family really pushed vanity and poor self image.
Ok so the court date is for "LONG OSC" - OSC is "order to show cause"
order to show cause (from nolo.com)
An order from a judge that directs a party to come to court and convince the judge why she shouldn't grant an action proposed by the other side or by the judge on her own (sua sponte). For example, in a divorce, at the request of one parent a judge might issue an order directing the other parent to appear in court on a particular date and time to show cause why the first parent should not be given sole physical custody of the children. Although it would seem that the person receiving an order to show cause is at a procedural disadvantage--she, after all, is the one who is told to come up with a convincing reason why the judge shouldn't order something--both sides normally have an equal chance to convince the judge to rule in their favor.
So..... it could be about custody or temp child support orders? They've been having all those money meetings lately...
WE should print out her goals, as shown on her Secret Page of Greed (all of which were material in nature) and post them so we can chart her progress in "cleaning up" and clearing out Tommy's wallet. House (already in the works). Exotic travel (already been talked about). What's next, Tommy will pay someone to pen a book by her and then list Moochelle's name as the author. Sounds just like him.
Long time reader of this thread and this is my first post..
Laura's attorney is a well known divorce attorney and I believe he is the one in the firm who is a hot head. His partner died and I can't remember what the sorted details were but they do not have a good reputation in the legal community. I have also heard that there are many complaints from former clients against him. I figure it is her karma and coming back around to get her. I hope Dave comes out the winner in this as those kids need stability and Laura isn't it. She is only a Big Deal in her warped mind.
Here's what my sister (the court clerk, not in SD) said when I asked her to decipher the court docket info:
09:00 AM calendar call -- which probably means that they are on calendar with 20-30 other cases set for the same time...
D503974 is the case number
LONG OSC -- means that they expect the matter to take longer than 30 minutes (LONG) and that it is calendared for an OSC "Order to Show Cause" (layman's terms - someone wants something that the other party is fighting or denying)
David Cain is the Petitioner meaning he filed the originial paperwork (but not necessarily the most recent paperwork). Petitioner will always be the Petitioner no matters what papers are filed in court.
Hope this helps. Gee? Can I get legal fees for this?
I told her she was working pro bono - something I'm sure Mr. Fritz doesn't know the meaning of....
Didn't they say another station in NC was going to let them broadcast from their studios the morning of the concert? The outbound flight doesn't get them into NC until that afternoon, so maybe they just rescheduled for a flight arriving the day before.
I'm wondering how LBM found her attorney. Amused, did Tommy use Jeff Fritz in your proceedings?
They talked about it briefly on the spewgram. LBM got voted off first - no one from the show went to support her! Her Mom and Sister were there for the performance. There was a picture of her with her trophy on the J&J site.
Methinks it is really weird that NO ONE from the show went - as stated here before, Tummy can get tickets to ANYTHING so saying that it "sold out" and that's why he didn't go is a bunch of bull-hickey.
I haven't seen any write-ups in the media about the fundraiser, either.
After Tummy's "LAST PAYMENT" he said he won't change anything. He'd use the extra money for his kids. Now two weeks later he's going to get a new fully loaded truck and take Mooch to Venice. So much for not changing his spending habits and putting it toward the kids.
And don't forget about the often-mentioned new home.
Ok, I hope this isn't a Dilbert, but did anyone determine what the "Last Payment" was? Alimony? The Car Wash Girl's SUV?
On another note, this really bugs me: A listener calls the spewgram and enthusiastically relates some experience they have had. Their tale is met with dead silence followed by a lame comment from one of the J's. They seem to do it the most to the junior listeners. Crushing a kid's spirit is a lousy thing to do. If J and J are going to belittle whatever is said, they should just shut up!
When Amused says "automatic deposit" - doesn't that just mean that he's not physically writing a check, but it's still getting withdrawn from his bank account? I was confused when I read that the first time (but that's not uncommon - I'm a blonde - and no, the rug does not match the drapes, Boris).
If it's getting direct deposited, does he not think that it's still money that he's paying, or is he that stupid?
Or, perhaps Amused is getting remarried, and he doesn't have to pay anymore, and that would make him want to marry Mooch-head even faster?
Sorry for being so Dilbertian.
That must be the final divorce hearing.
A divorce cannot be final in California until after 6 months. When kids are involved, custody issues generally cause it to take longer than that. If there are custody issues or support issues, it's normal routine for an OSC to be filed to obtain a special hearing date to address those issues.
I'm going to let my guard down a bit and put my ego aside for a second, because what is going on in my mind is taken up a lot of my energy and if I avoid writing about it, I'm just trying to fool myself. Okay, here it goes: I'm really nervous about my mom's health. I want my mom to live forever. I just spoke to her on the phone and it was hard. She's my mom. When I think of her or see her, she's my mom that used to yell at me and scold me and take care of me. I don't think I see anything else. I don't hear the weakness in her voice. I don't want to and I don't think I can. I don't ever NOT want to be optimistic or think anything less than my mom being healthy and happy. I don't know what else to say right now other than, thank you for letting me come out of my "tough guy" BS that I try to tell myself I am to actually ask you to pray for my mom to come back and yell at me like she used to.
Okay, lets take a deep breath and change the subject okay?
-------------------------------
I think he's setting it up to tell everyone more about his mom soon. Like the news story coming out soon that he mentioned to GirlfromOR yesterday??
Like I said, he'll mention her health is bad and then change the subject.
Now, I'm not a fan of his, but I do feel bad that his mom's health is failing, it's sad, and I wish her well. So that she can start yelling at him again! :)
I'm wondering how LBM is doing with her challenge of attending 90 AA meetings in the 90 days post rehab. She came back to San Diego around June 20th (or 21, 22, some time back then).
Fast forward to now, it's close to the 90 day mark post rehab. I guess I should have called in to the station this morning when they had the "Ask Us Anything" segment.
In California if the marriage passes the 10 year mark then the support payments go on for life or until the receiving spouse gets re-married.
I sure hope Dave is filing for spousal support.
Wow, Ritchie, if that deal you described happened to you, you got taken!!! I've had three friends go through divorce this year and last, married 10 years, 8 years, 22 years. All of them got 1/2 the years married for alimony (cut off if remarried, like you mentioned). Child support until kids are 18. I haven't heard of alimony for life since the dark ages. I don't know this firsthand, though, just from what my gal-pals tell me. Oh, gal-pals sounds like something LBM would say. I need sleep. Yikes. She'd say that, too. Goodnight!
The spousal payments for life could be a reality. I have a friend who was divorced 2 years ago and that is her deal.
She also could have negotiated a lump sum and limited time frame on payments. Hard to say what Amused has and really none of our business.
Personally, I think the whole thing about the auto deposit was a veiled reference to some discussions between the FH and a certain other party remaining nameless, but who doesn't really seem to be amused by his phoniness. I've seen the same scenario played over and over again.
When the spouse makes even child care payments, the actual writing of the check makes them angry. So they are usually late...and make it as miserable for the other person as possible. If it goes on long enough, the other person can't necessarily count on the money, which is the goal of the passive=aggressive nitwit in the first place. Or, the nitwit looks forward to the phone calls asking where the money is with glee, as if the ex is begging for the money, and he still controls things.
Can you imagine the anger in these people when/if they had to actually hand over cash? The check is less personal, but it is a reminder...auto deposit is impersonal, that person doesn't even see it happen, and it's all as if it doesn't exist...the ex spouse, the ex children, the whole ball of wax. It's like they are cleansed of that.
My best friend's mom and dad got divorced and her dad owed her mom alimony for life. This was in California. It was a hefty sum of money each month, so she put off getting remarried so that she wouldn't have to give up that money. She eventually did get remarried, so obviously the payments ended.
Ok so the court date is for "LONG OSC" - OSC is "order to show cause"
order to show cause (from nolo.com)
An order from a judge that directs a party to come to court and convince the judge why she shouldn't grant an action proposed by the other side or by the judge on her own (sua sponte). For example, in a divorce, at the request of one parent a judge might issue an order directing the other parent to appear in court on a particular date and time to show cause why the first parent should not be given sole physical custody of the children. Although it would seem that the person receiving an order to show cause is at a procedural disadvantage--she, after all, is the one who is told to come up with a convincing reason why the judge shouldn't order something--both sides normally have an equal chance to convince the judge to rule in their favor.
So..... it could be about custody or temp child support orders? They've been having all those money meetings lately...
Since I'm going through this right now, the first OSC (which typically happens with 4 or so months of a Legal Sep) is usually to see if the separation orders are on track and still progressing. I know we didn't need to attend (altho' hubby did sit in the back and stew). So it will be interesting if she is on the air that morning.
Secondly - I was listening this morning - here's something that REALLY bothers me. If you want people to call in, then don't try to control everything all the time. It's just rude. I wouldn't call in to that show because they seriously don't give a crap about their callers - it's all to fill airtime, support their laziness, and just sound superior to everyone else on the planet. Laura's Diary, September 19, 2007
Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11:32am
Dear Diary,
I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd make this statement: I do not want to go clothes shopping today.
No, aliens have not abducted the real Lauracain. This is me, but I don't feel all that great today. This dang cold is so annoying. This morning I'm freezing in this studio and I'm coughing. That coupled with this overcast weather and the threat of rain makes me want to crawl right back into the sheets with my book, The Kite Runner. I'm almost done with it! Then what? I have to get another book. Anyway, I have to go out and buy a 73 dollar outfit for tomorrow. Poor me…NOT!
My sister asked me if I'm addicted to anything anymore. I had to think about it. Um…exercise, no, although I wish I was. Fruit and veggies? No. Coffee? Not really. Then it hit me…I think I'm addicted to reading! I've poured through eight books in the last two months. I gave most of them to my mom to read. I gave The Glass Castle to my sister. Oh, she also wanted to read The Four Agreements, too, so I gave her that one, too.
On the way home from school yesterday, the kids and I were singing "Ten Little Monkeys." Ya know that one? "….there were nine on the bed and the little one said, roll over, roll over, so they all rolled over and one fell out there were eight in the bed……" Well, when we got to the house Evan insisted on re-enacting the song on Momma's bed. So it was Charlie, Evan and me. Charlie was the first to roll off, then it was me. Evan was the one monkey left on the bed who got to say "goodnight."
We then went downstairs to watch TV for a bit. Evan decided to she needed to build a bridge out of pillows, Tommy's shoes and my legs. That's when the TV cameras arrived for Tommytube taping. Should be an interesting installment seeing as Tommy cast the episode yesterday. I had to laugh when the flower lady came in. Tommy says to the camera "Oh, it's Tuesday! I forgot this is the day my flowers get delivered!" What a load of hooey! So, the flower lady is setting up all sorts of arrangements and that's when the El Pollo Grill people ring the doorbell. Tommy says, "Oh, our dinner is here!"
I'm starting to really love Tommytube taping days! Although, I'm a little bit nervous about the content. I forget that the cameras are there and I just spill my guts…as usual.
I'm going to try to do that Birkram Yoga again. It's hard, but I may just become addicted to the feeling AFTER it's all over!
See you tomorrow, Diary.
This was one of those forwarded jokes someone sent to me. I thought someone might want to send it to LBM....
"MY LIVING WILL
Last night, my friend and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her, "I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
She got up, unplugged the TV, and threw out my wine.
She's such a bitch....."
I have to say, anytime now that LBM mentions her sister Jenny, I get the sudden urge to bleach the entire area in which I am sitting. To think that dame tried to make a business out of "Martial Arts Aids" so to speak, and has tattoos and all...ick. If those two were my kids, I would be horrified. Frankly, I would move out of the country and change my name.
FH is so disgusting!!!!SO is Jeff! 2 days ago, Delana reported on a San Diego woman who had successfully undergone surgery to remove her gall bladder via her vajay-jay. Then Jeff said something to the effect of "she's the only woman other than my wives(many, many) who had that procedure done that way..just ask Kristin!" Needless to say, I was horrified!
Out of all the people there, other than Delayna, I sort of like Jeff, but that's fading fast. Maybe it's because this morning Laura was asking if they could have a pet....and Tummy told her "I have a one eyed snake for you over here." I'm sure Mooch loved that one.
A pet? Not a good idea. Neither of them have the skills to take care of anything.
1. They'd have to feed it (Oggi's and chinese take-out do not count) healthy food that needs to be purchased somewhere.
2. clean up after it (a weekly maid--which they should not even have with all of their free time--does not pick up poop and clean up whiz)
3. train and discipline it. Oh yeah, we're talking about Tommy and Laura here.
4. Vet care. Do Big Deals have time for this?
5. But the most important reason is there's a revolving door at Tommy's house and a cat or dog will run away, get eaten by coyotes or hit by a car. Then all of the kids will get their hearts broken.
A pet? Ya might want to give that some more thought.
Here's the story of a gold-diggin’ lady
Who was bringing up three very greedy kids.
All of them had dreams of gold, like their mother,
The youngest one wants pearls.
Here's the story, of a man named Tommy,
Who was getting’ busy with three wives not his own,
They were found out, in bed together,
Tommy was left all alone.
Till the one day when Moochell met this fellow,
And she knew she could get much more than a lunch.
But first she, LBM and FH must somehow form a family.
That's the way they all became the Tummy Bunch.
And instead of Peter's volcano blowing up it could be some sort of beauty treatment concotion that LBM and Moochelle have whipped up. And instead of the football into MarciaMarciaMarcia's schnozz it would be a guitar hurled at Tommy's gut.
Wednesday September 19, 2007 9:30am: It's been an interesting day this morning! Watching the OJ stuff was pretty interesting. I'm shocked they let him go. I get a lot of "smack" from people when they know my position on the OJ thing. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, but I may be the only person in the world that is hoping he didn't do those double murders. Back then, I knew all the players in the case. From Nicole's youngest sister who went to SDSU and listened to us. She actually helped me get OJ on way before 1994 and she adored OJ, but that changed when her sister was murdered. Johnny Cochran always took my call as well. This topic has got me in many arguments and debates with friends, listeners, and ex wives. I don't know if I simply don't think he did it OR if it's more of a SAY IT AIN'T SO, type thing.
Regardless, I will debate the best of them on the trial. Hopefully, WOODY CLARK will go on tomorrow to help me with my feelings and to prove that without a doubt OJ did the murders. Woody has a book coming out on DNA and he has a chapter on OJ. Woody is Michelle's boss!
Tommytube brand new episodes will be on the website shortly! Check it out, I hope it's okay. We did hire a person to hold a mic over us, so I think the sound will be better. Keep checking from time to time.
Today, I see the kids. It's an early day so they get out after 1pm, so we have lots of time to do things. I'm thinking a good movie or the park or taking the kids to see my mom would be fun!
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I will be doing some kick butt training for the 3 day! This will be my focus for the next few days starting tomorrow morning.
TOMORROW: Mission Bay and Bikram Yoga
Friday: Bikram Yoga and Lake Mira Mar
Saturday: Iron, Torrey, and a LONG WALK like Oceanside OR Del Mar…..
Sunday: Cowles and then CHURCH!
I do want to thank you for all the emails about my mom from the previous blog. It means a lot to me that you take the time to write. THANK YOU! I also appreciate the advice (good and bad) and the criticism (good and bad) that come my way about various things.
a pet? Oh, yeah. They should just go ahead and ask the neighbors about that. Who wouldn't love to be their neighbor...and add an undisciplined (probably male, unneutered) dog in the area to cause a big old commotion?
great idea.
Then, of course, when LBM the big deal tires of the responsibility of caring for the animal, it will end up at the shelter...
she's such an egg.
No kidding. Ya think? A guy murders her sister, and she has a change of heart about him. Imagine that? Now it all makes sense...he thought he was part of the "Moment of History" involved with OJ...so he can't come to grips with the reality. what a concept for him. He thinks even the OJ thing is about him... (FH).
I really think if they got a pet they'd go for the extreme...something only big deals should have...like a monkey or something...or like a ferrett because they are illegal in Ca and big deals don't think the laws apply to them.
Yep, by now, he should be walking 7-10 miles at least 3 times a week. I was doing well more than that this time last year and I STILL wished I'd trained more! He also should be cross training a bit more than yoga. But at least he's doing something. Wonder if he can walk faster than a 20 minute mile so he doesn't get picked up by the sweep vans? Hmmmmm.
I will say that I had a friend who is a masseuse who came down after Day One and gave my friend and I massages-quick 15 minute ones. It helped so very much. But she also did that as a way of supporting us because she wanted to donate more than she could.
The actual 3-day experience will be a VERY interesting once to follow. Very interesting indeed.
Thursday September 19, 2007 NOON: Thank you very much for the emails about my mom. I didn't think that one paragraph would get me so many nice emails and emails about people going through the same thing.
I am optimistic and I do want to believe my mom will live forever. I always wanted to see my mom at my wedding. I got married in Vegas back in 1994 and this time my dream is to have a "real big family wedding". Eddie's already going to be my best man! I don't know if my wedding will be a big one or a small wedding, but I do know my mom will be sitting up front. You think I'll cry at my wedding? Well, don't tell anyone but I'm crying just writing these last 3 sentences.
You know this blog is so good for me. I'm here at my office at the radio station and I have a lot on my mind. From work, to family, to friends, to everything, but no matter what I have going on, I have the blog to run to. I literally ran to the office to write you. I don't even know what I really wanted to say to you, I just needed to write.
You know, I want to live a healthy and positive life and there is only ONE thing that is negative that I have touched on over the last few months that remains NOT good. That's the relationship with my oldest sister Lola. She and I are disagreeing on almost everything relating to my mom. With respect to my family, I won't talk about the subjects, but in general, we're fueding over some silly stuff. I know if my mom knew how we are at odds with a few things, she would be very upset. I know I'm suppose to be the man of the house and the family since my dad and brothers are all gone, but it's hard to say "hey, lets kiss and make up" when the topics are so tough to NOT have a strong opinion about. I want to have Lola back in my life like everyone else is. I want Lola to meet Michelle. Lola is the one that took care of me when my mom was working and Lola was the one that made me hang out in LA where I saw so many things. I mean, I met Merv Griffin when I was 10 because of Lola. I was on the set of American Bandstand and the Dating Game when I was 12 because of Lola. She taught me how to order food at restaurants and stuff like that and I want to have her in my life, but the subjects that we are arguing about isn't that easy to just forget about. I love Lola. It feels good to just tell you about it.
I'm thinking about deleting the last paragraph. Awww, I will just leave it.
I'll be with my kids in an hour. I can't wait to see them. That's the only thing that blows about divorce. It's the every other day WHO GETS THEM tomorrow and you get them tonight scheduling. That blows, it really does. But the only good thing about it, is when I'm with the kids, I'm WITH the kids. So many years in the beginning when they were babies, I was home with them, but working so much that I wasn't with them. Did that make sense?
Things all happen for a reason and I feel good about where my life is now and where it is headed. I am struggling with eating right. I could take a few minutes to refresh my memory on how I was in March, because right now, I don't feel bad or I don't think twice when I eat something I shouldn't.
I feel like I just confessed to Father Albert in Chula Vista at Most Precious Blood. :)
I will go now and do 3 hail mary's and 4 lord's prayers.
Love,
Tommy
forget the hamstring. He'll have debilitating shinsplints.
what a load. But it's interesting what he says about his older sister...I guess he has her to thank for his shallowness, and his desire to stand alongside celebrities...she didn't bother to bake him a birthday cake, she didn't bother to teach him to respect women, and she didn't find a way to break him of his self-centered nature.
He sure has a lot to thank her for. She introduced him to celebrities. She taught him to order at a restaurant. wow. So now that he has done that for his kids, his job is done.
Interesting that the scheduling thing is so tough on him. I bet he is one of those last minute, I want them right now, quit interfering with my relationship with my kids type.
You can just feel the thinly-veiled anger against his former wife in everything he writes...yet he was the one to step out on their marriage and the kids. I also got a kick out of how he was working so much when the kids were babies (read that to mean: they were a lot of work to have around instead of just self-sufficient buddies. Oh, and they interfered with his gangsta-player-pimp lifestyle). Yeah, right, FH.
Ok, people, I just watched all FIVE new episodes of Tommytube. What was I thinking? It was uneventful and OMG Laura's constant movement, be it her legs swaying back and forth or hair pulling or arm movements, drives me crazy! It's the only thing I noticed, it was so distracting, but I stuck with it to see if it would get better, it didn't.
And does anyone know why Tommy gets fresh flowers delivered every week? That sounds like a nice luxury.
Michelle hardly said anything and looked uncomfortable the whole time. Tommy introduced her as his buddy, then his girlfriend, never his fiancee.
No kids were shown.
The sound was better than last week, but they didn't really have anything worth listening to.
AAAAGGGHHHH, I've wasted too much time on the computer, gonna go play with my kiddos now.
Im going to sound dil-like but.....I thought tommy grew up poor in chula vista? If thats so how were him and his sister affording to go to LA and how did she know Merv and how did they get onto all these shows? Something doesn't add up....
And I also think because his moms health is not the best this will speed up the wedding....If Mooch is so uncomfortable on camera and possibly with tommy I wonder if she would actually go through with the wedding....I'm also wondering how someone goes from Jr. Seau to Tommy Sablan....I mean I know its the money and semi-fame but I dunno I just can't imagine going from a in-shape football player to tubby....I imagine she is always comparing their looks, and body in her mind....
Anyways I wonder what his sister and him are arguing over that they aren't speaking...My guess...his attitude towards ladies. I mean if she knows how he is she probably is ashamed and sickened by it. Maybe she was once cheated on too and can't handle the fact he's cheated on past wives, gf's whatever....anyone else have any thoughts on what it could be?
I don't really think anyone in that family could grow up with half a clue how to behave in any way, shape or form. I bet his sister up in LA made a habit of going to things like gameshows...or she was a waitress in a restaurant these folks ate at all the time.
I also don't necessarily think Dave Cain is a whole lot better than Laura outside of his having HAD IT with her drug/alcohol stuff. I think he was right there along for the ride right up to basically the end.
You know, (and i'm not saying this is the case) but i've had acquaintences who did illegal drugs recreationally and their spouse knew but it increased to daily abuse and they were really good at hiding the usage from their spouses until it got out of control. I choose to believe that this is the case with LBM and that Dave kept getting promises for a few years from her that she would stop and when it all came to a head, he just quit the whole shame
This is a complete mess and a freakshow. My personal observations:
1. Laura's hair pulling, jerking and that laugh (it's enough that we have to endure that laugh in the morning). Personally, I can only stand one round of laughing, and I change the station.
2. Did you notice that Laura said she "had" to go to a meeting?
I bet she has court ordered meetings that she must attend.
3. This group sat around and talked like a bunch of teenagers on a Friday night. These are supposed to be adults? And these people make six figures?? Go figure:disa:
Anyone happen to catch what the 6 hour rule was? I couldn't make it out from the audio.
Supposedly FH and Mochelle are never apart for more than 6 hours.
It was like watching a weird pavlovian experiment. Every time the doorbell rang, FH called out "FOOD!". You sould practically see him start to salivate!
I'm sorry, I can't watch them all....
From what I saw before I closed it...
-what's the deal with all the couch pillows on top of them?
-are they adults or in high school?
-how lame that Mooch had never heard of the "6 hour rule" and they named a whole episode that. (they have never been apart for more than 6 hours - she must not have a full time job otherwise how is that possible???)
-why when Tommy said he should rent the house to Laura she had a smirk on her face and said no...why, Laura, because your free ride would come to an end?
-Laura and Mooch are together all the time, why would Laura ask her if she has her own house?
-I can't tell if Moochelle's ring is on her hand or not
-I hear the kids screaming in the background...who is watching them??
-the hair playing and leg swaying is way too annoying
"Some caller just asked Jeff if he's ever had a threesome!" [Editor's Note: Only if one other man was willing to kiss Jerry].........."LBM kinda deserves a sleazy attorney IMHO....." LBM...IMHO = acronym withdrawal....."sleazy attorney" --- isn't that redundant?
..and of course,.....THE SECRET! "I'm kinda surprised that Jake hasn't weighed in remotely.".......
THE SECRET is, Many people have a missing brain component. It is the part of the brain that enables human beings to discern when "crap" is being hand-delivered. Those who are missing this component, are 11 strong.
For the rest, it is the part of the brain that recognizes the commercial breaks on the Showgram are a relief -- not an annoyance.... In fact, they are Don Piper's "90-Minutes-Of Heaven";
It is the part of the brain that recognizes: Jabba is a "Daddy-disguised-as-a-man-whore-whose-parenting-skills-ended-when his-jiz-met-the-egg";
Laura is a brain-dead, Lipizzaner; 'nough-said
Jer is a "Hey-I'm-still-bitchin'-Van-Halen-Kiss-bands-that-are-as-anachronistic-as-I-am-keep-on-rockin'-in-the-free-world" dude!" [Editor's note: P.S. Your wife is scary. Ask Boris]
Jeff is a tooth-spittin'-"Might-as-well-have-married-my-daughter-in-law-Ohio-honk-who- is-as-smart-as-the-last-book-he's-read-kinda-troll."
And, Randy is gay-but-he-doesn'tknow-it-yet (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Reading 238 to 266 is like being on the Titanic in 1912 -- and then watching the movie in 1997. Lot's of time goes by........but the result is the same: the ship sinks.
Only, I get to see Kate Winslet naked -- which is a HELL-of-alot-better than that CrystalDoll's post of the Macy's Thanksgiving-Day-Parade-Float picture on page 245. Just wondering....is that an ass...or a landing strip?
I really think if they got a pet they'd go for the extreme...something only big deals should have...like a monkey or something...or like a ferrett because they are illegal in Ca and big deals don't think the laws apply to them.
I just watched the TummyTube episodes and a few thoughts entered my head...
1) If my daughter was screaming in the house, I would look up to see what she was screaming about...Laura didn't even flinch, she acted like her daughter wasn't even there.
2) When she hardly ever sees her kids, why is she sitting around talking, filming and ignoring them? Maybe I am weird, but if I didn't get to see my kids everyday I would give them 100% of my attention when I did see them
3) Michelle and Tommy act like they barely know each other; it's REALLY strange to see two people who act only like acquaintances start talking about a wedding day
4) Laura is WAAAYYYY wacked out on something, it's really upsetting to sit and watch her. Hello...she didn't even know it was going to be 2008 after the holidays??? Scary.
5) She said that sometimes she wants to get back together with Dave and sometimes she doesn't??? Is that fake or real?
Thursday September 19, 2007 NOON: (snippety snip of inconsequential blah blah blah stuff)
You know, I want to live a healthy and positive life and there is only ONE thing that is negative that I have touched on over the last few months that remains NOT good. That's the relationship with my oldest sister Lola. She and I are disagreeing on almost everything relating to my mom. With respect to my family, I won't talk about the subjects, but in general, we're fueding over some silly stuff. I know if my mom knew how we are at odds with a few things, she would be very upset. I know I'm suppose to be the man of the house and the family since my dad and brothers are all gone, but it's hard to say "hey, lets kiss and make up" when the topics are so tough to NOT have a strong opinion about. I want to have Lola back in my life like everyone else is. I want Lola to meet Michelle. Lola is the one that took care of me when my mom was working and Lola was the one that made me hang out in LA where I saw so many things. I mean, I met Merv Griffin when I was 10 because of Lola. I was on the set of American Bandstand and the Dating Game when I was 12 because of Lola. She taught me how to order food at restaurants and stuff like that and I want to have her in my life, but the subjects that we are arguing about isn't that easy to just forget about. I love Lola. It feels good to just tell you about it.
I'm thinking about deleting the last paragraph. Awww, I will just leave it.
I'll be with my kids in an hour. I can't wait to see them. That's the only thing that blows about divorce. It's the every other day WHO GETS THEM tomorrow and you get them tonight scheduling. That blows, it really does. But the only good thing about it, is when I'm with the kids, I'm WITH the kids. So many years in the beginning when they were babies, I was home with them, but working so much that I wasn't with them. Did that make sense?
Things all happen for a reason and I feel good about where my life is now and where it is headed. I am struggling with eating right. I could take a few minutes to refresh my memory on how I was in March, because right now, I don't feel bad or I don't think twice when I eat something I shouldn't.
I feel like I just confessed to Father Albert in Chula Vista at Most Precious Blood. :)
I will go now and do 3 hail mary's and 4 lord's prayers.
Love,
Tommy
It irritates me when someone contradicts himself in the same paragraph. Either the stuff you're fighting over with your sister is silly stuff, or it's important enough to have strong opinions about. Which is it, Tommy?
As far as divorce goes, I can think of a lot more things about divorce blowing than just visitation scheduling.
Eating? Really, I don't see him struggling with eating. In fact, in one of those TubbyTube videos, I saw him stuffing his face for a good portion of it. Don't think that's struggling.
Thanks for letting me vent!:wavey2:
"Things all happen for a reason..."
No, they don't.
Things happen because we make choices. "Things" do not simply occur. And, sometime things just simply, happen.
A plane crashes in Thailand. The reason? To kill people? To teach the pilot a lesson? To make people aware of weather?
No. Things happen.
I'm LBM...I drink and snort....I have two kids....I go to re-hab.....my marriage falls apart.......All this Sh*t happens for a "reason?"
No....all this "happens."
"Life goes on with out me...."
Sometimes we cause our results...and sometimes we react to our results.
If we cause it......suck it up and make it better. Oh, wait....that precludes the 11 and the "talent......" Never mind.
I hope this doesn't resemble a dumbert post...When FH and LBM (I prefer to call them The Kidiots) first talked about TummyTube, wasn't it phrased as "we're having the house wired for webcams"? A webcam would then capture them at random, behaving "normally" (we all know normal isn't possible for them). Did I imagine them blobbing that it would be a webcam that was on for a brief period of time each week/day?
Yeah, when they first mentioned the webcam I envisioned a lot of everyday (with of course some contrived)LIVE events going on. I figured they would be going about their lives at the Sablan house and we would see spills, mishaps, cooking, movie watching and every so often.... someone in their underwear. But then that would require there to be action. All I can see is a slow paced chit chat.
I just watched all of the new snippets and they are beyond bad. The one thing that jumps out at me is Moochelle. Why is she there? She's clearly uninvolved in what's going on. She doesn't seem to really say much to Laura, yet they were having a chat.
And I am not sure what she was trying to say about her house/the house she lives in. It was odd and she seemed to be dodging something.
Well here I am on the East Coast preparing for a meeting and I decide to watch the tommytube new episodes and now I want to puke.
My first comment would be who the hell cares...... but then you see and hear things that are quite interesting such as.
1. Kids scream and no one seems to flinch or care.
2. Mooch sits there like she wishes she was somewhere else.
3. Laura tries to hog the spotlight (imagine that) and won't shut up. She just needs to move far away.
4. The 6 hour rule stuff is nauseating.
5. How much take out do they deliver?? Does anyone try to cook?
6. FH looks quite heavy for someone who is supposedly always training and walking, etc.
7. Mooch seems to be extremely plastic and used to getting what she wants.
Why I decided to poison my day by watching these is beyond me.
Dave should file with courts preventing HER from talking on this tube thing at all about their kids, relationship, anything. But remember with Mooch working in the court system that could be of Lauras avantage.........
It just slays me (in a funny way) how this 40 year old woman and this whatever FH age is...(he's an old man now)...are cavorting around like teenagers on an MTV video. "I'm the star, no I'm the star"
I really don't think Mooch has all that much going upstairs...if she is a court reporter---that's like one of the last protected jobs on the planet...why do we really need someone "Typing up" trial proceedings? We do have cameras and videotape these days.
A couple of things: First I saw Tummy Smurf "training" yesterday for the three day. His mom, Rosa (or some other old woman he picked up at Big Lots), who he claims is sick was pedaling a three-wheel bike, dragging a ham sandwich with a piece of string. He was sweating like a pig trying to catch it. Second, Laura's new $73 outfit is actually $74 something - it defeats the purpose and shows that she can't add. No follow through, does what she wants as it suits her. Each time she posts a new outfit, I think it goes up a size...:bandit:
Regarding Tummy Tube - did anybody catch the conversation about Nyquil? Laura is going to be back in rehab in no time. They were talking about what she could take for her cold and she mentioned that she cannot take Nyquil. Both FH and Moochelle had never heard that. LBM had a hard time explaining that it has alcohol in it. She then said the classic, I am heading back to rehab, line - "I am sure I could handle it, but I am not supposed to take it." How much longer before she is sure she can handle just a glass of wine or take one of her drugs of choice? I am sure she will be right back where she was in March in no time.
