Wonk, I am so glad you posted that larger picture. I was afraid she had a third...ni--oh, I can't bring myself to type the rest of that word...but I am so relieved to see it was just that little hanging strap trying to climb out of her dress....the world is right again.

It is just me that thinks this photgrapher succeeded in making everyone in that whole troupe of dancers look like they were the most uncoordinated dolts in the world? Is it the angles of the shots? Ai yi yi...no one in that whole collection looks like a real human being.

While it is true, I may be nuts, I was concerned about the exposed details...other than the photography wasn't particularly flattering...but to me, all the folks look a little awkward. softer lighting, more flattering angles, and probably a little airbrushing would have been a good idea for promotional shots for this event. in my nutty opinion, of course.

Some of the recent pictures from their site might manufacture a slimmer look but there was the TV interview she did and a picture from the hikes and she doesn't look bad - actually healthier than the pre-hab. She also may be eating as a way to fight addiction. The dress isn't that great though. And the other folks did look awful awkward I agree.

Well, FH hasn’t given us our usual afternoon drivel-blog, but I’m just going to go out on a limb here and write one for him….

Wow, it’s BEEN an amazing day. Michelle and I are REALLY in a GREAT PLACE right now. My DIET is right ON TRACK, you know? We WALKED up Mt. Kilimanjaro today and BOY, did that HURT my feet. But Carla was there to massage out the KNOTS (you know), so I feel much better right now.

My Mom – My Mom is doing SO MUCH BETTER – thank you to all of you who have sent your prayers about my MOM. She reads all of the BLOGS and FORUMS, and knows that I am doing REALLY well, I’m on track with my DIET, I’m walking up MOUNTAINS and stuff, you know? She has a serious illness, but she’s doing SO much better, and she LOVES Michelle, and that makes me really happy. Wow – it’s cool how I can SHARE my love for Michelle with my Mom and my kids, and I’m in a really good place, you know?

I can’t believe I wrote that – wow – you guys know MORE about me than ANYONE (especially my first wife). Speaking of my FIRST wife – we are in a GOOD PLACE, and my kids are my #1 priority, and THEY will decide when Michelle and I marry (unless we decide first). Wow – I’m telling you everything – do you mind hearing it? I HOPE not. We’re going to move, or NOT – we’re just waiting for a SIGN to guide us because we can’t make these big decisions without a SIGN.

Well, I’d better go – need to answer the door – the delivery GUY is on my porch with our dinner from Oggi’s. We’re having pizza tonight with the part skim cheese and the low-fat garlic knots because I START my DIET tomorrow.. It’s FANTASTIC…..you should order it. Oh, and it looks like the flower girl and Carla are right behind Oggi’s on my porch, so I’d BETTER go, ok?

My mom! I got an email the other day from someone that said some mean things to me about me. I may have said it before, but just because he says he is "taking care" of Rosa doesn't mean he's doing anything more than what he is doing for his kids...I'm sure he goes there, I'm sure he drops off things...I'm sure he has shelled out dough for services, since he has it.

The average woman is a size 12 not the 6 or 8 or whatever size she was previously. When people give up drugs they sometimes gain weight. And addictive personalities can treat non-addictive activities as addictions. I am saying she may be replacing what she did before with food and I don't think she looked good but I am not one to think that rail thin or boarderline anorexia a good 'healthy' look. Do you Jake?

Dear Diary,

Okay, here are some of the ideas I'm kicking around for the Lauracain Road-Trip 2007:

1. Sedona. This destination is appealing to me for many reasons: It's a short flight, it's spiritual, it's beautiful (that's what I've heard anyway), and it has great spas?!? Maybe I need to Google Sedona before I book a flight. I've never even seen a picture of Sedona. But, it's calling to me for some reason.

2. Hawaii. I want to dig my hands in that sand and swim in that water. I remember how good it felt to embrace the "Aloha" spirit. However, I am worried that I may be a blubbering, lonely mess in Hawaii. All those newlyweds and couples walking along the beach while I'm sipping a virgin Pina Colada on a beach chair all by myself may be too much to bear. Plus, I don't want to be that far away from my babies.

3. San Diego. It could be fun to kick around my hood for a whole week. I could do Yoga everyday, take a nap everyday, go horsebackriding (there's a stable right down the street from Tommy's house!) I dunno.

4. Disneyland. I think it would be super fun to take the kids to D-land for the day. We could stay at the Grand Californian for a night or two. But, then again, Charlie is going to want to go on rides that Evan cannot ride yet, so we would only be able to do the kiddie rides together. Plus, we were there about 7 months ago.

Here are some of the suggestions from some of our listeners: Catalina, Camarillo, Julian, Idyllwild, Ramona and Mexico. Some people think it's too soon for me to be by myself. Some people will be super disappointed in me if I don't go somewhere. What a great problem to have, huh?

I'm probably going to take some time tonight, after the babies get picked up, to poke around on the internet and find something cool to do with my few days of vacation.

He'll always bash me. It's his passive aggressive behavior that is getting the best of him. These behaviors don't fix themselves. I really believed they were accidents for years until I got wise to FH's behavior problem and realized it's a sickness.

Live and learn right. Someone asked if I thought he'd be faithful. Personally I don't think it's possible because snakes can shed their skin and they just keep doing it year after year. He's a predator and his history shows that he goes after married women, women in relationships and women in crisis. So it's all about saving someone and being the "hero" in his mind. It makes him feel like "a big deal". He could never handle being in a healthy relationship where two people are equals. Sad but true. :spock:

Tuesday September 25, 2007 10am: Holy balls! Christmas is 6 paydays away and just less than 100 days to go! I'm sitting here in my studio at the station listening back to Randy's playback of finally moving out of his home after almost 48 years of living. I'm looking inside the studio where everyone else sits and we're all just smiling and having a good time and we love one another so much! My kids are doing well and my mom is doing much better and Michelle and I are doing GREAT, BUT the one thing on my mind today and the ONE thing I never thought would happen is happening Thursday night and Jerry and I leave tomorrow:

We have friends and listeners in Charlotte that we can't wait to see. It's going to be fun.
After seeing the kids yesterday and visiting my mom after the show, I feel back on track. I've said this since DAY ONE but when things get crazy and work is stressful and things in my life are overwhelming, it takes a visit down to Chula Vista and seeing my mom and then seeing Eddie and Vanessa to bring me back down to a good place in my heart and soul. It's cool that Michelle is understanding of this and supports it and actually goes with me to see my mom. You know what Michelle said to me the other night? She said she wanted to be in the rotation of people that take care of my mom. When she said that, I just hugged her and didn't say anything I just hugged her and I think that HUG spoke louder than words.

Barbara Lee Edwards just emailed me and is wanting to start working out more frequently. We will all do Torrey Pines Saturday. The 3 day is less than 2 months away.
I think it's all about PREPARATION. NOT LIKE working out so to speak, but stuff like socks, shoes, stretching, massages, warm baths, etc. It took me two days to get over the pain from the 17.2 miles on Saturday. I feel good today, but I was dead on Sunday and Monday.

Today, I'm getting ready for Charlotte and taping Tommytube, so I will talk with you later okay?

Laura mentioned again how cheaply she bought the dress. Jeff piped in and said, "yeah, it almost covered your entire breasts!" J&J should remove LBM's picture from their site, but sex sells, so most likely it will remain there.

About Laura's weight, I'm of the opinion that she needs to get healthier as in exercising and eating nutritious foods. But she is not fat, as society(meaning Hollywood), would dictate. Many teenage girls are becoming anorexics and bulimics because they can't live up to the expectations of people around them and what they deem as attractive weightwise. She does need to control her food, but I think she looks pretty good for her age. That being said, I still think she is a teenager trapped in an almost 40 year old body.

As for the weight gain.....I was interested in being a cop once and went on a tour of Las Colinas. I was told that the average woman gains 40 lbs during her stay there because she is no longer using drugs.

Fat? Nah...I wouldn't say that. Fat was Star Jones-ish before her surgery. LBM is plump, sorta filled out. FH is FAT. I remember back in the day(pre rehab) LBM was talking about how she was a size 4 or so. So coming from a 4 to double digits now I sure can be hard for any woman. Dear Diary,

We've had our first Gameboy incident. Yes, Diary, I forgot to mention that Charlie and I pooled our money together and bought a metallic blue "Boy." I told Charlie he was not to take it to school with him. Unfortunately, he did it anyway. The rule is no Gameboy during school hours, but it's okay during daycare. Charlie apparently whipped it out at the tables right as the bell rang and he got caught. That's just as I was pulling in to pick him up. He got in the car and just broke down crying. I'm pretty sure he learned his lesson. We talked about it quite a bit, until he finally said, "I don't want to hear the word Gameboy anymore today." Got it. No problem.

To cheer him up a bit, I stopped off at 7-11 for water and a treat.It doesn't matter that your son broke a rule, REWARD him for it, you don't want to be parent you want to be his BUDDIE . We got up to the counter and saw a little tiny 7-11 coffee cup. It was actually a lighter, but it looked so cute. Charlie picked it up and said, "Look, it's the perfect size for Evan!"

I then said, "It can be Evan's first coffee." We laughed. Then I sang "my pretty Coffee, my pretty coffee…" to the tune of "My Pretty Pony." We cracked up. WTF?? You not only let him pickup a lighter, you joked about it being perfect for your baby daughter??? HUH?Then, I told him to pick out a couple Scratchers for fun. Yeah Laura, nothing says quality time like scrathing off some lottery tickets together.The lady behind the counter says, "Oh, you're not old enough to play those."

I just looked at Charlie and winked. "It's our little secret." Just like all the other little secrets I bribe you into keeping for momma.Then we paid WOW, isn't that unusual? and walked out giggling. I realized that Charlie was about to eat a sticky donut in my just-washed car, so I ran back in to get some napkinsleaving my son alone in the car parked outside??. The 7-11 lady comes up to me and says, "Can I tell you something."

Wow. How incredibly cool is that!See, I'm such a Big-Deal I was beaming when I got back in the car. We continued to laugh all the way to Evan's school. Charlie then says to me, "Momma, you are so funny.meaning even he understands he has to laugh AT YOU You are funnier than Dadda, but Dadda is funner meaning he can laugh with his dad because they are having a good time doing things together that you."

I wonder if LBM is aware that leaving a child unattended in a car is actually against the law (yes, even if the AC is running). August was awareness month for No Child Left In Cars...obviously it made an impression on her. This is less annoying to me, but I still don't understand why she would give a child a donut late in the afternoon. Maybe I'm just an uptight no-fun Mom.

Charlie then says to me, "Momma, you are so funny. You are funnier than Dadda, but Dadda is funner that you." Hmmmmm. I think I'd rather be the "funner" parent, but I'll take what I can get at this point!

Well, I finally watched the lame Tummy Tube episodes - all shot in one day with everyone wearing the same clothes. Here are my top 10 observations:
1. Laura the genius says, "Without getting too technical" when taking about her addiction. Pretty technical - you're a loser, how hard is that! She tried to make excuses, using the "it's my brain chemicals, not me line. Cop-out!
2. She talks about the list of meds that she can't take. Was her rehab court ordered? "Can't" is a strong word.
3. She says she "had" to go to a meeting - like it's a burden. Not that she wanted to go to better herself.
4. It is so staged and forced!
5. Laura is enormous - she looks like that fat lady from Veronica's Closet - the one who has since lost weight. She also looks like a fat Lisa Marie. "I ain't nothing but a lard-ass, jiggling all the time." Get in my belly!
6. Why doesn't Moochelle sit by Tummy?
7. Amazingly, Tummy is a perfect sphere. Warning - avoid steep slopes.
8. These stupid episodes are like a bad SNL episode - "Deep thoughts, with Laura Cain"
9. Tummy talks about sleeping on the couch and can't wait to throw his "I was poor growing up and slept on the floor so it feels like home" routine to try and get sympathy.
10. Tummy looks like he's preparing to audition for the Broadway edition of Sling Blade.

I watched Episode 4, part 1 (what is this, star wars?) of tubbytube and it is so obvious Tommy is digging Laura. They act more like a couple than Moochelle and Tubby. And what is up with Laura's jugs (sorry to borrow from Jer)? She needs to tuck in those puppies. It was quite boring but watching them really fascinates me in an annoying way. LBM squirms way too much and like I said before, she doesn't feel comfortable in her own skin. FH and Moochelle are arguing way too much for someone newly engaged. The Friday before she was shipped off to rehab was when Charlie ran into a pole at school and she wrote about it in her diary. My hunch is that the paramedics couldn't reach her, or when they did, found her an unfit parent and it went from there.

That's always been the supposition that something happened with Charlie and she wasn't coherent/sober/fit - but does the court system work that fast that one day she's here and the next she's shipped off to "court-ordered" rehab?

Or were "the powers that be" being proactive and shipping her off to rehab against her wishes to PREVENT charges from being filed?

That's always bothered me, there is some connection to her son's accident...but she doesn't mind still using him as a crutch for her scratcher habit and for stoppin in at the 7/11. Granted, I'm not a 7/11 shopper...why wouldn't she just go to a grocery store...a Sav-on..anything but a creepy 7/11? She's worried about going places where alcohol is consumed, but she hasn't any problem stopping by her old liquor supply cabinet...WITH her kid(s) even.

Thank God I have no point of reference here in my own life. I think she was in a holding situation for some days after Charlie's accident; remember... FH said he went to visit her in a private room, passing "security" (one of his many fabrications?). Or it just could have been time for her to go, the result of an earlier arrest.

I wonder if her driving is restricted in any way now. Doesn't seem to be...

It was probably court ordered after she was arrested. About 2-3 months before she left, each person revealed a "secret" that happened to them over the weekend and someone's secret was they got arrested. I am sure it was Laura who was arrested--probably a DUI or worse.


I don't know guys, I have a friend that was arrested twice for DUI and once for Domestic Violence all in a 6 month period. She has yet entered rehab. Maybe she will get sent after she appears in court. LMB must have done something really, really bad.

Remember those kids who beat that surfer to death in La Jolla? When they were arrainged, that one kid went immediately into alcohol rehab from the arraignment. I think a smart lawyer can get that put on the table to try to keep you out of jail or to make a good impression for the next hearing.

Wednesday September 26, 2007 midnight in Charlotte: Just got back to the hotel! Jerry and I met up with a hot show in Charlotte named Ace and TJ. They do a morning show here and 9 other cities. Dave "KIDD" Kraddick was also with us. He does a show in Dallas that is very similar to Jeff and Jer. I also found out that SHOTGUN TOM is in town too. Shotgun was my first HERO when I was a kid. I remember he was at a high school football game when I was 10 and I ran up to him to just be next to the guy I listened to on the air. That was in 1974! 10 years later, Shotgun became my friend and we worked together for 2 years at KBEST 95. It was so cool to work with my childhood radio hero. Shotgun means so much to me that I have a picture of him in my studio where I work in the morning. I hope to have lunch with him tomorrow.

Well, the plane ride was cool. Jerry and I just talked and talked. We talked about our mom's to Michelle to the kids to the show to the early years and we even talked about when it will come to an end one day in a few more years. It was a very emotional and inspirational plane ride. I had one beer for some reason and just drank water and had pizza. The pizza was given to us by Ana Davis who is one of the regular walkers and hikers. She works for USAIR and sent us some VEGGIE pizzas on board. I love Ana. With just drinking ONE BEER, you can say that ONE BEER cost me $1,800 bucks. OUCH!

We are in downtown Charlotte. The venue where Van Halen is playing is 10 minutes away by foot. There are 200 people here at this hotel just for VAN HALEN. THE NAB convention is here too. National Association of Broadcasters, I THINK. So, that's why everyone is here in town that's in radio.

I took a peek at Tommytube. We're just trying to figure out what to do and how to do it and thanks for all the kind emails and constructive criticism on how we should do it. It's funny how some people think we're suppose to be Steven Spielberg or Al Pacino in Tommytube. We're just 2 people with a camera just being ourselves.

Speaking of back back then! It's cool to be on the radio in a town I grew up in. I got a real nice email from a girl named Gail. I knew her first as Gail Andrews back in the late 70's and she grew up with me in junior high. She is now a regular on the walks and hikes and she emailed me the nicest note about stuff and how we grew up together. I just think that's so cool and I am so proud of being in San Diego where I grew up.

I better get some sleep and hopefully figure out how to get Jerry on the air from here. If you hear Jerry's voice on the air tomorrow morning (Thursday), then you will know I'm in a good mood. If you don't hear his voice, then know, I'm not too happy.

Dear Diary,

I had a dream last night that I was taking shots of tequila right from the bottle. I don't remember who I was with or where I was, but I do remember feeling the burn in my mouth and throat. And, I do remember feeling guilty about it. I'm guessing I had this "drink" dream because I went to a meeting last night, and tequila was brought up in conversation. The meeting, by the way, consisted of a whopping 7 people. It was kinda weird being in such a small group. It guaranteed that I was gonna speak, that's for sure, and I did. It was still a good experience, as always.

On the topic of alcohol, I had another huge helping of "alcohol free" rice and meat at Mom's house over the weekend. She is so cute! She bought a bunch of Fre' Red Wine to make the dish which normally consists of the real deal…lots of it. I'm pretty sure the booze burns off, but Hazeldon's stance is why take the risk. Anyway, Mom brought it! It was delicious. My kids love rice and meat, especially Evan. She requests it frequently. Speaking of Ev, she was so funny the other day. She comes running into the kitchen completely naked. Caitlyn told me she just stripped her clothes off on the trampoline and started bouncing up and down and then ran around the yard. Okay, I think there's an old 35 mm movie of me doing the same thing when I was three years old!

I've got a handful today. I'm picking up Charlie, then Chip, then Evan and staying with 'em all night! Get this, Diary, I get to put my babies to bed in the house and I'm going to fall asleep with them because Davecain isn't going to be back from his work trip until one this morning. It'll be the first time I've slept in my house in almost 7 months. That's a really trip, isn't it. Wow. I'm a little freaked out right now.

I think you can request special meals in any class (where they are offered now) when making reservations. You can on British air I think. Don't travel much in meal class these days. I think you just choose Veg or Carn - not Pizza.

I think the nudity thing is disturbing to me because of LBM's OBVIOUS wish to be in the spotlight herself. And she is transferring this to her daughter, and her daughter is learning to use that as an attention-seeking thing.

It would be one thing if LBM were kinda living the semi-hedonistic lifestyle, going natural, not being concerned about the ways of the outside world, but she isn't like that. She is very concerned about her image and appearance. She is very concerned about all this stuff, and has a very unhealthy attitude about her self image that she seems to be working out through her daughter.

Maybe Laura's vacation will be to find the guys filming "Over 40's Gone Wild" so she can see herself on film.

When I found this board and got caught up in the "fiasco" of validating my screen name (it took forever for them to allow me to post!), I spent a lot of time reading back from the very beginning of this thread.

There are quite a few mentions of Jerry and Pam being "swingers" - from people that seemed to be very sure of their information. I don't have the time right now to go back and search, but it's there....

Jerry is definitely a pervert with serious issues. I know from a reliable source that he and Pam are - shall we say - willing to share the goods. Yes, they are swingers. It is a community joke in La Jolla. That's probably why they don't have kids. They are too busy with the kinky stuff to worry about the wellfare of another being. And Pam does know about his purchases, believe me. Jer's ego is so big, he thinks he's some kind of Hugh Hefner. The worst thing is that Pam knows about it and supports it. She has her own horn dog issues.

Jeff said it was a "business meeting" or something like that...too bad he wasn't spending the time shopping for a new dentist.

I think he said he went to Pasadena - someplace spiffy like that. He did talk to the traffic guy about the fact that it took him 2.5 hours to get there and 4 hours to get home. Krusten went with him the second weekend he was gone....I don't know if it was a day trip or a weekend thing - I'm leaning toward just a one day thing. Hmmm, maybe it could be that he was a visiting preacher???

Yes, I remember LBM talking about potty training her and going into sordid detail on how it was going. You know how inappropriate she can be. But I wouldn't put it past Laura, however, to let Evan run around rampant in diapers simply because she's too much of a big deal to help Evan to the potty.

Well, Evan is three and Charlie and Chip are around seven, so that must have been them. Bad news that no adults (ie Laura) were out there supervising.

Hi guys. I've been addicted to this site for many, many, many, weeks...and finally thought I'd delve in. I have a question. A couple of days ago, Jerry said he never usually spends time away from Pam, but that he has spent the last two weekends in a hotel room by himself...and he couldn't talk about the reasons why...but it was good for him because it gave him time to be alone and "think" about things. Did anyone else here this or know the reason(s) why he would stay in a hotel room alone two weekends in a row? BTW, this site is so entertaining!

Do you think this also has to do with why he is moving into a new house? Maybe alone...with a cat or two?

Earlier in the week someone had posted flight info and I was wondering if it gave a flight #. FH is weaseling out of picking the kids up as usual, claiming his flight doesn't arrive until 4pm. I checked the US Air website and there isn't a flight at 4pm. My guess is the BIG DEALS are flying in on the only non-stop flight that arrives at 12:04p. Can you repost if you know... I think it was on one of the deleted pages.

Friday September 28, 2007 7am in Charlotte: I'm sitting here thinking about last night's show. I'm thinking about all the things that happened to make what I saw on stage last night reality instead of something that you wondered would ever happen again.

Back on April 1st 1985, in a studio called 5150 in Los Angeles, California 4 longtime friends from Pasadena were working on a new album. The lead guitarist named Eddie was wanting to add more keyboards to the music instead of the guitar, bass, and drums that made these 4 dudes millionaires. The lead singer named David wasn't liking what he was hearing. David couldn't take it anymore. He didn't want to sing over all the keyboards Eddie was doing. SO, David Lee Roth said "I'm outta here" and walked out of the room and never looked back, UNTIL-------last night in Charlotte, North Carolina!

It wasn't rehearsal anymore. It wasn't a press conference anymore. It was a ROCK AND ROLL CONCERT that their fans got to see. David was back with Eddie! It was an important show for their fans and it was an important show for them personally in so many ways. It gave people HOPE. Hope that BAD BLOOD and BAD RELATIONSHIPS that you may feel has NO way of ever getting better TRULY CAN. David and Eddie swore that they would never ever be on stage together again, BUT THEY WERE and THEY let TIME HEAL THEIR PAIN and they were on stage last night having FUN and respecting eachother. Eddie and David were probably having the most FUN out of everyone in the arena.

It was SO COOL to see Eddie and David together. David was at his best! He sang each song as if it was one of his babies. He was so proud of each song he sang. Eddie was truly performing as if there was NO OTHER BETTER GUITAR player ever. Alex is perhaps the best SOLID rock and roll drummer out there. He was behind his drum set concentrating and having the best time of his life as well. THOSE dudes, EDDIE, ALEX, and DAVID sounded better than they ever have. In everyones mind last night, they were all probably thinking where was Michael Anthony. It would of been cool if Michael was there on bass and thos high backing vocals, BUT HE WAS NOT!

THEN THERE'S WOFIE! WOLFGANG VAN HALEN! Born into Rock and Roll royalty years after David left the band. Wolfie: His dad is one of the best guitar players ever and his mom a famous actress that every teenage kid during the ONE DAY AT A TIME era had a crush on. Wolfie was on bass guitar.

Everyone most likely thought quietly to themselves: Can this little boy play? Is Eddie nuts to have his 16 year old kid play bass in one of the best rock bands in history? Is this a joke? He doesn't deserve to be on stage. He hasn't paid his dues.

WELL, it took one song to erase all those assumptions out of everyone's mind! Everyone in that arena said to themselves and saw for themselves that WOLFIE can play! WOLFIE CAN REALLY PLAY. Is it genetics? Did Eddie sit down with his son and teach him note by note how to play each song? How did he know how to do all those songs? Does it happen natural to the son of a rock god? I THINK IT DOES!

For those 2 hours they were on stage, I kept on thinking how cool it was for a DAD to see his son with him. Like a man that owns a hardware store having his little boy in there and showing him how to ring up stuff on the register. Like a man that works on cars showing his son how to change the oil for the first time. THIS WAS a dad who happened to be a ROCK legend jamming and playing guitar like no other human looking to his right and seeing his little boy on the back beat keeping up and playing to the beat of his uncle on drums. FOR ME, as a dad, I smiled all night long realizing how proud Eddie must of been on stage for the first time in front of thousands of fans with his son WHO EVERYONE gave approval to by smiling back at Wolfie and giving him high fives and touching him as he strolled along the side of the stage in front of screaming fans.

I also couldn't help from laughing when I thought about the bottom line and perhaps the "real" reason why these guys were on stage: THE MONEY! Eddie gave his son Wolfie an INSTANT bank roll. Eddie last night gave his son Wolfie the first of many HUGE checks that when this tour is finally over, WOLFIE will have more money in his personal account than most people have saved in a lifetime. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be back home in a few hours! When I get home, I'm getting my son Eddie and my daughter Vanessa. I'm putting Eddie behind the drums and I'm going to teach Vanessa how to play bass. Who knows maybe one day the rock group SABLAN will debut on stage! Hey, it could happen, right? :)

The last part of FH's blog was worth a repeat. Especially since Amused pointed out that he was resisting/denying/avoiding/delaying... a quick pick up.

If he thinks so much about the father/son relationship, why didn't FH make an effort to get his son to go with him? Maybe he'll make sure the kids get to go to the San Diego concert. If it is appropriate.
