To touch back on a past subject (this is mostly for iamsheens)...I never meant to imply that your brothers issues are a result of something your mother did or didn't do. Sometimes sh!t just happens. In Rosa's case the sh!t happened 3 times...I think it's safe to place some blame in her lap. My husband and his older brother were raised by a single mom. She worked 3 jobs, and had to walk to work (which started at 7am), by ages 6 and 8 they were responsible for getting up on time, getting ready for school and catching the bus. She made it clear to them that she would not tolerate drugs, drinking, swearing, or any kind of negative behavior...and she meant it. Hell, yesterday she heard me say "sh!t" and told me she would whoop me if she heard me say it again (and I believe it...she's tough). In Rosa's case...she found out her sons were addicts, and moved them back home. Can we say, "enabler"? I'm sure they ran drug deals out of the garage while she gambled all the money away (keeping just enough to afford hot dogs and rice).
FH is not a Momma's boy, he is still attached to the t!t.

Boris, I just have to ask ... are you on medication? Can I get some???
what kind you would like. Start the music...
"One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small. Just ask Tummy, when he's four-feet wide. Two pills make you act like Laura, and three pills cause you two fall. Four pills make you put your hand gently on Cree's knee, and five pills make you pee, six pills make you whinny, and seven make you skinny. Just ask Laura..she obviously hasn't taken seven pills..."

Thank you for that informative lesson Boris, but I really meant please explain making her say "weakest link", and the cheeto dust/puffy lip thing
At one point when the "Weakest Link" show was popular in the U.S., they were playing a trivia game on the air. Rosa was a contestant (call in). She could not say "weakest link" as an answer to one of the questions. They couldn't stop making fun of her and she got pissed!

Ok, as I look back over my contributions here, I see I am likely to toss out wild speculations with absolutely no reason to think what I am saying is actually true based on any particular knowledge.
I think I have pretty much summed up my entire existence there... but I digress.
I don't mean to be unkind, but my take on Rosa...She's from an odd generation, add in that she spend most of her life in Guam....my understanding of the area for the time,
she was likely there was it was pretty remote, kinda behind the times in all sorts of areas, including education, healthcare and any kind of jobs....as well as any significant opportunities for women. Somehow she ended up here, had a boatload of kids....judging from FH, and the others in the clan the Dad was probably a big drinker/smoker and fairly physically abusive. Her husband probably didn't have a great job, but when he died, and she had to find a way to support the kids, she had nothing in the way of viable job skills, and did the best she could.
She was probably gone til late, and pretty much was an emotional punching bag for all of them. I bet she covered for their indiscretions, lied to the cops when they were busted, and generally just offered them a weak moral model.
I don't think she had much idea there was anything else out there in the world, and I don't think she had a lot of what we call "tools" to cope. It certainly doesn't appear that if any of her children have done well, that they have taken it upon themselves to make things better for her, up until recently. Although we don't know for sure if anyone is really covering her costs, or she is in a medical facility paid by tax dollars or something, because the family has hidden any assets, now do we?

Okay, Dude! Hand it over! Share with the class!!!
It's true:
Shortly after World War II, and before 1952, the brown Treesnake was accidentally transported from its native range in the South Pacific to Guam, probably as a stowaway in ship cargo. As a result of abnormally abundant prey resources on Guam and the absence of natural predators and other population controls, brown Treesnake populations reached unprecedented numbers. Snakes caused the extirpation of most of the native forest vertebrate species; thousands of power outages affecting private, commercial, and military activities; widespread loss of domestic birds and pets; and considerable emotional trauma to residents and visitors alike when snakes invaded human habitats with the potential for severe envenomation of small children.

Sheesh, Tommy sure does enjoy sparring with those who email him. He is a very angry boy-man.
I have always thought that B&E CHristmas (yes, FH does get a lot of "Aren't I do-gooder?" mileage from that throughout the year) should go to more families than just one. I see the outcome on the news each year and it seems that one family is completely over taken with stuff....it would be overwhelming if it were me. Why can't 3-4 families share in the joy?
Does anyone know if Moochelle (was she even mentioned in today's blob) got a haircut? I thought I saw her today in the East County but the hair was in a bob of sorts.
I do hope Delana does well and also that she gets another job soon. It must be hell for her working there with those lugnuts.
Saw her today, no bob haircut, hair was up though.

OMG! Save those e-mails, Mel. Don't delete them, so you can show somebody if the harrassment escalates. That is such BS! It totally sounds like FH is spiraling out of control. I wonder if Scott is FH's invisible friend?
I went to the same High school as Mario Lopez in and even interviewed him for the school paper. As a matter of fact, he dated my best friend from high school. But that didn't last too long.....he had wandering eyes even back then. He had so many girlfriends, one couldn't keep track of them. He pretty much used and abused his conquests.....that was back then. Even now, I still hear stories from random people of how flirty he is. I can say one thing for him, he isn't like FH in the looks department. I must say he is pretty good looking, and hasn't changed. So in that aspect, Mario couldn't be compared to FH. There is just no way.

Hi All... I have been lurking for months now (since LBM came back from rehab). One of my friends ("mamasterls") pointed me to this website. I have to say, I'm addicted! It's the first thing I check after work -- I can't wait to read all of the great comments posted here. Amused -- you're awesome and I think it's so cool that you are willing to come here to share your thoughts with everyone.
I was a die-hard J&J fan, through all the different radio stations. I remember being so bummed when Jack FM came in and took over. I feared that I'd never hear from J&J again. But.... all that's changed. I can't stand FH. After having learned all that I have about him here (his compulsive lies, arrogance, narcissistic ways, etc.), I can't stand to even listen to him on the radio anymore. Same with Laura. When she first came back from rehab, I felt so bad for her, but her true self is coming out more and more -- she's the most self-centered person I know. And, I do agree with alot of the posters here... the show is no longer "G" rated (family-friendly). If I hear the "Boob Song" one more time I'll :puke:
Thanks to all of you for hours and hours of very entertaining reading... I can't wait to join the fun!

Also, you can get reconditioned ones on ebay for about half the price as the new ones (use the "make an offer" option - I just bought a reconditioned PINK Dyson for $250, free shipping! And it's absolutely perfect!)

Listener 13, Boris and anyone else that is a computer wizard,
How do you get a custom avatar to post under your screen name in here? I have the dog one that G|A allows, but I have no idea how to get another picture in there....
I know someone else asked about this earlier today so maybe one of you can help us fellow DCer's out!
Thanks for any input (from anyone)

Mel keep all your email trails, it really sounds like he is getting more and more obsessed with calling you and trying to harrass you. We will all be witness if you need us, hopefully you won't! Tummy is one scary dude on the road to destruction.
Thank heavens for Amused and her being such a great mom and surrounding herself with positive role models. I have a friend who's ex is psycho, she in fact one year told all her friends how he was stalking her and their daughter just in case anything happened. I really worry a little that Tummy will go OJ on someone, not to be a downer.
On a lighter note, thanks Trixie for keeping track you are doing a fabulous job. I am going on vacation to New Orleans for a week and I am taking my laptop so I can not only check in at work but check in on the DC. So great so many people have come out of the woodwork to be counted!!!!

Someone else called it before me, but, I'm of the believe that FH will somehow get injured right before the walk. It will be tearful. He's going to feel awful. He's going to talk about how he let everyone done, and everyone else will be there to say 'oh, it's okay FH, we still love you, and just trying is what matters'
HB! I fully expect that to happen. If it doesn't...then I guess I'll wear a pea coat for the day.
Naw, he won't pretend to have an injury. He'll just show us peons how he did the walk mathematically without really being there but it all counts the same, so he really was there, even though he wasn't, because it's all mathematical. And he'll do it all while wearing a peacoat so that makes it count more than everyone else.

ha ha! You may be right. But I think he may just not show up and he'll say that some emergency came up. He will probably brush it off.
I can't believe that Barbara Lee Edwards has less donations than FH. What's the story there?

We have 11 posters (at least!) to compete with the Spewgrams 11 original listeners.
The code is simple. The (#A) represents the baby-to-be and the (#B) is twins!
Dilwad was assigned #86 because he was "eighty-sixed" from this thread.
We have two right at #94 & 94.1
Himmie called 94, and soon after Sapphie requested 94.1 I am to please.
This has really not been difficult. I'll continue to tally because you all can pretty much figure out how to count on your own.
Maybe over the weekend, we will have a few more join in.

All of us send an email to FH tonight and tell him to leave Mel alone (be sure to write from a crapmail address), or else for some reason he *might* have to settle for marrying someone in the slammer...if you know what I mean. We would be 100+ strong--that's a lotta email. Maybe we should cc: Jer on it too. Sort of let them know that the barbaric natives are becoming restless(?)
Mel, he had better be going to church and praying hard that you don't even so much as break a nail or he will be the first suspect.
p.s. I always *assumed* that LBM meant "Laura Big Mouth" haha.
I'm [this] close to suggesting a rename for Tommy as "sucks hind tit" (SHT).
Can someone provide some good, effective emails so that I don't have to go through the annoying email page on their site?

Whaddya know? I checked and the number 67 is *mathematically* considered a "lucky" prime number, and since my 'screamname' is "pastherprime," I'm thinking there is something even more lucky about it.
I'll share my extra luck with the DC. What should we wish for?

I have every confidence that Tommy will begin the 3-day. However, by about 4 hours into it there will be a "crisis" with Moochelle that will pull him away. (Crisis to them. Minor annoyance for us)
Or...perhaps he will just be kicked out and sent home by women who have no patience for his sexist attitude towards them. They may hate his BIG DEAL entourage that he brings along...remember the chiro and masseuse? Holy balls!

Ohpulleez...I'm happy to report Amused already confirmed your suspicions about the size relationship....she harbors some ill will about this whole thing (not really) and feels her MOTHER should have warned her about this, well--this shortcoming.
And of course, if I were to make one wish...for the Drama Club...(waving my hand in front of my eyes...) it would be for world peace.
Hey, also, you know, mel and others....just don't let his crummy and childish e-mails bother you a tiny bit. they can't do nothing...and really, would that Scott guy really use his own name? I don't think so. Really, you can't fix him. He won't all of a sudden see the light.
I know you folks wish you could change things for the better, but he has all the input in the world and he has to choose the way to go. Bickering WITH him gives him strength. He enjoys dumping that anger on you, don't let him. Let it go...You know life is better than the hollowness he lives in, and for just that, you are light years ahead of him in so many ways.
If he were truly happy with himself, wouldn't he just go ahead and enjoy being alone? Wouldn't he NOT be on the "go here, go there, see Rosa, drive to Escondido, drive to Penasquitos, drive to Iron Mountain, drive to Torrey Pines, etc etc as his life? He lives in a house, not a home. Would anyone really trade for that? And the lies...ack du lieber...the lies alone!
Newer Reader...rest easy...that new word alone will send FH and any of his winged monkeys straight to wikipedia to try to decipher the code....

Well put, Wabbit. You are a sage of wisdom and an eloquent dispenser of knowledge. The only thing I would note is that the phone calls to Tex cross the line, and that's why I suggested that Mel keep the e-mails in case FH-Tubby-Tummy-Little-Winkie escalates his anger onto her, as well. They tend to show a pattern and back up her story in case (in case?) he denies making the calls.
I was lurking early, early this morning ... woke up around 3am and couldn't sleep. This DC and the On Demand channels helped while away the hours. Thank GAWD it's Saturday!!

Ok...so the word for the day is CHURCH (since tomorrow is Sunday and all...)
Welcome to the overnighters. Glad you made your voice heard! Here...we are all equal (except maybe Wonk who absolutely rules and of course Amused who is our Queen, but I digress..)
Getting ready to head out for the day but had to get my fix. Tomorrow, being Sunday, I actually WILL be at church. I'm sure that I'll wear a peacoat and at some point the words holy and balls will probably be uttered, though I doubt it will be together! Imagine. Maybe I should pray for Tummy, but honestly there are so many more pressing needs right now in my own life (actual crises with very real dangers) that I think I'll stick to reality.

Saturday October 20, 2007 7am: It’s kind of funny to say that this is the first time in a long time I stayed the night here at my own house. It sure feels good to wake up in the middle of the night (1am) to get a drink of water and seeing Vanessa and her friend on the computer IM’ing boys and Eddie downstairs on his computer emailing his little 10 year old girlfriend. The joy of being home! Yesterday, was a memorable day for me. I will never forget that yesterday was the day BOTH my kids became teenagers (not in age, but in spirit)…..
So, I’m in my car in front of Eddie’s school to bring them down for the weekend. Vanessa is already with me and Eddie jumps in the car and says “what up dad”…..I say, “hey, biatch, how are you”….He has his skateboard in his arm and throws his backpack in the very back and dials a number on his cell phone. He talks to someone for about a minute and then says the following to me while driving towards the freeway: “I want to stay here, can I go to CVS for a little bit, I want to stay here”….I say, “No, we need to beat traffic and get home”…..Then Eddie starts to cry and starts whimpering and says “please let me stay, I just want to stay”….Then I ask what’s wrong and he doesn’t answer. Then I think to myself, “okay, what the heck is happening”….Then I’m thinking there is nothing going wrong in our lives that would make him say all this and I’m just confused….THEN, my dear 12 year old daughter blurts out really loud as if she was teasing Eddie, Vanessa says, “he wants to see Kaela”…..Then I stop the car and I ask if he was wanting to see his little girlfriend and then HE SMILES and then puts his skateboard in front of his face. So, I drive back up to where I got them and he runs over to a house and sees her for about 5 minutes and then runs back to the car and is much much better now! My boy is just like me!
I’m going to be totally honest with you here: At that moment Eddie was missing Kaela, I was missing Michelle. I knew what he was talking about. I know he’s only 10 and it’s puppy love, but I was just missing Michelle as well. So, there we are in my car Vanessa in the passenger seat and the man driving and the boy in the back were two lovesick puppies missing their girlfriends. J
I would also love to tell you I drank water and ate salad and fruit and veggies yesterday, but I didn’t. Yesterday qualified as a rebellion or a relapse or plain ol’ Friday celebration in fine dining. Here’s what I ate yesterday. Oatmeal, turkey sandwich, taco from Taco Bell, bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell, small pepsi, ½ a apple carmel thingy from Taco Bell, grilled chicken plate from Baker’s Square, I ripped off about 10 french fries from Michelle’s sister’s plate, 6 inch tuna sandwich from Subway, a meatball sandwich from Oggi’s, one cheese pizza from Oggi’s, and a lot of water and a sip of Sprite. That was all before noon, after 12 noon, I had: JUST KIDDING….That’s what I had all day long…..Did your eyes bug out when I said before noon? I feel really good and NOT guilty or sad at all because I know that was a ONE DAY splurge that I just went for. I know today, that I won’t eat like that. What’s kind of cool is to log what I ate yesterday and type it out for you this morning and then realizing, THAT”S how I ate probably almost every day for a few years AND that along with a few beers at night and not walking and exercising is the reason I GOT FAT. I just re read the list of what I ate and it doesn’t seem all that bad ITEM TO ITEM but eating it all in the same day is not good, BUT IT SURE WAS FUN, especially if you’re a fan of food like me.
I’m not jumping on the scale until the morning of Halloween. I last weighed in at 195ish a few days ago, I can probably bet my paycheck, it’s not 195 this morning, J
My goal is to be 185 one day. I can do it. I’m at that stage where it’s mind game and I have to get past that HUMP or whatever that is. People are starting to see my face a little skinnier and I’m feeling good bending over and picking up things and doing poses in yoga that I normally can’t do, BUT my problem is when people start seeing a difference and they tell me and when I feel good about my weight and how I feel, I CELEBRATE BY EATING. What the heck. If I can just change my celebrating to RUNNING A LAP OR TWO, I will be fine. I wanted to make a smiley face after the running a lap comment, but that would have been a little too mushy. J
Today, I’m doing Torrey Pines in a couple of hours. I’m bummed out I’m holding off Iron and Cowles until after the 3 day. THE REGULARS are still doing those hikes so PLEASE go if you want, but I’m sticking to Torrey Pines on Saturday’s. I will forever love that place. Michelle is nervous that Iron and Cowles will fade away if we don’t keep going, but I told her there’s too many REGULARS that will continue to go every weekend to keep it up.
Holy balls, I just re read that food list maybe I should do Iron and Cowles today. J

Holy Balls! There isn't a peacoat big enough to fit that guy! Maybe not even a church with pews strong enough to hold his fat a$$.
That was enough food for a person for a week! Well, almost.
And to think that he thinks it's cool to be blabbing about his kid's life for all to read - if that was my parent I would quickly learn to tell them NOTHING.
My other comment is - what where his kids doing up at 1 a.m. on the computer? I would have a real problem with that....
Off to do some cleaning...will check back in a while to see what others have to say about the blob today.

DreamerGal, I agree with you, keep the e-mails that he has sent. But some of us thing we can talk him into changing who his is and how he behaves by reasoning with him or showing his lies. It just won't work.
and the word...was "Ethnocentric" that will get FH all riled up.
from Tommy's blog....
"It sure feels good to wake up in the middle of the night (1am) to get a drink of water and seeing Vanessa and her friend on the computer IM’ing boys and Eddie downstairs on his computer emailing his little 10 year old girlfriend. The joy of being home"
YEah, right. sure they are IMing all their friends...THEIR parents are letting them stay up til that time, too...and of course they aren't grouping up and doing kinda inappropriate IMing, are they? Cause of course, FH keeps a short rein on the kids. I bet he has no idea where she has been on the computer...what a moroon.
If Eddie's girlfriend's parents are any kind of parents, they will put the kibosh on this right now. I have a 17 year old, and when I bust her for IMing after 9 pm on weeknights, or 10 pm on weekends, she loses her phone for a week.
This whole IM thing is such a life-suck anyway. I hate that kids waste theri lives doing the IM thing.

Okay, here's a poll - how many days before the 3Day is XXXLFH going to "pull something" and get himself out of it? He keeps eluding to it - you know he's plotting right now.....
I'm thinking just a couple of days ahead of time. I honestly cant see tub-o-lard walking 60 miles - unless he had assurance that there were bean and cheese burritos at the end.
Maybe Moochelle will drive right ahead of him with one dangling off a string on the back of her car........
You know, if he does this-and I wouldn't put it past him-I am going to be even more upset as to how he has tainted this event. My friend who is walking is walking even though she BROKE HER FOOT only a month ago! She is training hard and knows how the 3-Day is more than raising the money: It is taking each and every step you can on your own. And if you want to get out of it, FH, do it by faking an injury rather than showing up and riding the shuttle to each pit stop and then lying to us that you walked all 60 miles.

Ok i HAVE TO chime in about this blog...first of all I now understand why he is as "tubby" as he is....that is like two or three days worth of food for me....when he lets himself go, he really isn't lying...that's so much food. He seriously is on the verge of a clogged artery..I'm so disguisted by his eating habits. I hope his kids don't have his same eating habits.
As for the chatting at 1 am that is so inappriopriate for his kids to stay up that late at their young ages. I remember when I was like 14 or 15 staying up chatting with friends till that late but if my mom ever knew I was up that late I would have been in so much trouble. I guess this is just another reason why FH doesnt have full custody of his kids, he is unfit to be a responsible parent.
Amused be sooo glad that your the one with full custody. My step dad is kinda like Tommy in the aspect that he wants to be more of a friend than a parent to my step-bro. He rather buy my step-brother stuff then spend time with him. Well his grades ended up suffering because he'd stay up till past 1 am everynight playing games on the computer, needless to say he ended up doing so bad in school that he was sent to live with his mom and now he is doing really good in school. It sounds like you won't have these problems with your kids though....but lesson is to everyone don't try to be a friend be parent...of course you all know that...just thought i'd share that story.

HB + Taco Bell = Holy Bell (maybe a church bell?)
FH's fat tummy is so stretched out by carbs, proteins and fats that he'll need to tighhten a belt around his neck, like a cormorant, in order to prevent additional food from reaching his digestive tract. Or maybe, he could just put a cork in it.
Wonk - requesting a cork in FH's mouth, if you have idle time this weekend, would be wonderful.

Ok, so you would think I would have better things to do on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but I am dizzy and sick to my stomach after reading fatty's latest food binge. Here's my calculations. Please note that these are ballpark figures, since some of the websites did not have complete nutritional information
Oatmeal 130 calories
Milk for oatmeal 90 calories
Turkey sandwich 442 calories
Taco from Taco Bell 170 calories
Bean Burrito 350 calories
Small Pepsi 150 calories
1/2 apple carmel thingy from Taco Bell -Sorry folks, couldn't find that anywhere!
Grilled chicken plate from Bakers Square 560 calories
10 french fries 200 calories
6" tuna sub from Subway 530 calories
Meatball sandwich from Oggi's 534 calories
Cheese pizza from Oggi's -Now this is tricky. We don't know what size pizza he ate, but I going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say 4 slices 920 calories
sip of sprite 5 calories
Ok, are you ready?? 4005 calories!
And read the end of the blob "I just read the list of items that I ate, and it doesn't sound that bad"
I cannot comment further

I think that FH's playing us (and anyone else that reads his blob). The line: "So, I’m in my car in front of Eddie’s school to bring them down for the weekend. Vanessa is already with me and Eddie jumps in the car and says “what up dad”…..I say, “hey, biatch, how are you”…" is a similiar line he used in his blob a few months ago - September 11, 2007 to be exact (I know this because I commented at that time that I thought him calling his son a "biatch" was way out of line for a parent to say):
Tuesday September 11, 2007 7:30pm: I just got an email from my little boy Eddie. It just made me smile and laugh and it put me in a great mood to go into the night and go to bed feeling good. Eddie emailed me saying: Hi Dad, What’s up MO FO?
That was all that he needed to say. I wrote back: “I love you BIATCH”. J Like father like son!
Also, I honestly find it hard to believe that FH would consume all of that food (Taco Bell, Baker's Square, Subway, and Oggi's) in one day. He really is trying to pull our chains, don't you think? I mean, mathematically speaking, who has the time to go to all of those places to eat in one day? He might have to go church tomorrow and ask God to forgive him for lying to all of us once again.

I know....I had been wondering about the plural word for mouse as in computer mouse. If you say mice, it just doesn't sound like you're referring to a computer. If you use mouses, it sounds like you're an English Language Learner (not that there's anything wrong with that!) I am puzzled like you. Lots of deep thoughts from Jake this morning... Hey, Jake, I get your point, but like a lot of us, including moi are doing other things, and can budget our time to get all we need done accomplished. I don't like having kids spend the night, then just park on the computer doing the IM thing. That's when you have kids saying things like, "hey, let's check that site Johnny said had naked girls on it!"
And if you don't have pre-teens or teens, you think it's just them talking to their friends..uh uh. They get the strangers breaking in, sending them pix, asking them wierd questions, and they get to all the wierd places like MySpace, etc... and on top of that, instead of like, reading and doing homework, they also can sit there and IM on their phones as well as the computer...end result is there's nothing accomplished in their young lives. There's a lot to be said for keeping the computer in a public area, and walking by a bunch. Now, these over fifty eyes couldn't see anything from that distance, but it does keep the kids worried and wondering. And in my house, if I have gone to bed, the computer is off limits.
If adults want to waste their time on this stuff, I have no problemo. and message boards don't demand that you stay and interact...you can post, you can leave, accomplish your tasks, and get back at various times. Kids ought to at least have some productive time while they can appreciate it. And they can always read a book, too.

I was shocked/appalled by FH's latest blog. Who lets their 10 and 12 year olds stay up until 1 a.m. (unsupervised) IM'ing and e-mailing members of the opposite sex? I have teen-agers quite a few years older than FH's kids and that would never fly in our house. Amused, I'm sure you monitor these activities a lot more closely when the kids are with you. How do you feel about FH letting them run wild whenever they are with him (late night TPing sessions, unmonitored computer activities, etc.)? He needs to join Britney Spears for some parenting classes!

Any real parent who reads FH's blob is mortified about how he parents. FH thinks he's so great of a dad but everything he writes (true or not) tells the rest of us in the real world he's a freaking moron.
The more FH blobs the more he's proving to the world he's an idiot, a liar, a cheater, and a good-time parent.
At first glace he's got it pretty good with a nice house, two cars, a blonde on his arm and a sweet job, but look for a second longer and you see that he's got nothing but an unseemly mess of a life that is absent of the true definition of love.
When you reach FH's age and still haven't figured out what life is about it's pretty much a lost cause. FH will keep trying to feel that empty hole where his soul should be with food or alcohol or gambling or whores or all of them at the same time until the end of his days.
You only have one chance to do this thing called life.
Truth Teller

You all know FH reads this thread. If you need further proof, Amused has mentioned on more than one occasion that he needs to listen to the song "Cats in the Cradle" for some parenting clarity. FH quotes the Cats in the Cradle song verbatim in his latest blog.... "My boy is just like me" Of course, the context in which he used it shows that even if he did listen to the song, he is too dumb to "get it" Amused... I am so happy you dumped that loser!!

FH's blog was unbelievable...what kind of parent would think it's cool to let your kids hang out on the computer at 1 AM at that age...I have 2 kids...both off at college (UCLA and San Jose State) and I NEVER let them do that kind of thing...I'm a single mom and luckily I have the best ex...the kids were 10 and 13 when we divorced and my ex and I made sure we didn't let that type of thing happen... Amused...you need to stop them from going to FH's house. I live in PQ...have seen LBM at Vons recently...still have not driven by the freak house...I'm afraid at how it will look and reflect on PQ...he needs to leave PQ...does not belong...Amused I feel sorry for you and the kids to have to deal with him...
Also, I went to Jingle Ball about 3 years ago...had seat down on the floor so got to go to the bar where the 94.1 train wreck was...FH was with the carwash girl and Jer(k) was drunk and all too sweating...gross...
FH dated a girl I worked with in the 80's (Sandra)...of course she was blond and not so smart and he thought he was so cool...at least back then she was in his age group...

FH's blog was unbelievable...I live in PQ...have seen LBM at Vons recently...still have not driven by the freak house...I'm afraid at how it will look and reflect on PQ...he needs to leave PQ...does not belong...Amused I feel sorry for you and the kids to have to deal with him...
Welcome, Swifty. Hmmmm, you know a lot. Keep posting :) here!!!! :gle:

I emailed FH about 3 years ago to say I knew the girl he dated at my work back in the 80's...he emailed me back and said he was totally in love with her back then...seems he hasn't changed...always in love...unfortunately for him, the girl's family was fairly known in SD and they did not approve of him...I wonder why??
I also saw Jeff one time at the Chevron in Torrey Highlands...he was buying candy...that was just before Krusten...what a sad state he is...3 marriages...5 kids and possibly more on the way (adoption)...say it isn't so...

Did anyone else notice all of the "random" J's in Blubberboy's blahg? Go back and read it...they're all over the place. Is there some sort of SECRET code in the letter J? Why are they there?
As for the 1:00 am computer time and calling a 10 year old a biatch...that sure borders on neglect, doesn't it? When I was 10, I was in bed by 8:00. When I was 12, probably 8:30 or maybe 9:00 on the weekends. I did not have friends over every weekend and I certainly wasn't on the phone with my friends at 1:00 a.m. (the old fashioned IM equal).
Funny story: I was shopping at Sears with Mom today...and they are having a sale on... PEA COATS! (or jackets that looked a lot like a pea coat.) I laughed so hard and she asked what in the world was causing me to be so undignified. I just sputtered out the pea coats and kept walking. What a crack up! Thought of all of my DC Homies ;-)
Ok...that's all the pithy-ness I have in me right now. I think I need a nap :) I'll be back later!

------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, so you would think I would have better things to do on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but I am dizzy and sick to my stomach after reading fatty's latest food binge. Here's my calculations. Please note that these are ballpark figures, since some of the websites did not have complete nutritional information
Oatmeal 130 calories
Milk for oatmeal 90 calories
Turkey sandwich 442 calories
Taco from Taco Bell 170 calories
Bean Burrito 350 calories
Small Pepsi 150 calories
1/2 apple carmel thingy from Taco Bell -Sorry folks, couldn't find that anywhere!
Grilled chicken plate from Bakers Square 560 calories
10 french fries 200 calories
6" tuna sub from Subway 530 calories
Meatball sandwich from Oggi's 534 calories
Cheese pizza from Oggi's -Now this is tricky. We don't know what size pizza he ate, but I going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say 4 slices 920 calories
sip of sprite 5 calories
Ok, are you ready?? 4005 calories!
And read the end of the blob "I just read the list of items that I ate, and it doesn't sound that bad"
I cannot comment further
I found the "caramel apple thingy". It is a Caramel Apple empenada. A full one has 290 calories, 15 grams of fat and 37 grams of carbs.
The bean burrito is 370 calories, 11 grams of fat and 56 grmas carbs IF he got the small one. Most likely it was the bena and cheesy 1/2 pounder,at a whopping 490 calories, 21 grams fat and 61 carbs.
The taco (again, if it is the small "original" style) is 170 calories, 10 grams fat and 12 grmas carbs.
The pepsi, at 150 calories, is 41 grams carbs (pure sugar).
So for just this one meal:
Item calories fat carbs
Bean burrito 490 21 61
taco 170 10 12
1/2 dessert 145 8 19
drink 150 0! 41
TOTAL: 955 39 133

I believe that if you go to the Star site and look at XXXL's blob, all those "J's" are really smiley faces. I don't think that this site supports the same type of code as is on the Star website. At least that's what someone here said a couple of weeks ago.
So every time you see a "J" it's XXXL's way of leering at his audience.

I think what it is, those appear as smiley faces on the STAR website, but when the blog is pasted here they show as "j".
Nothing too sinister...
I was also appalled, had to go re-read it, about the kids being on the computer IM-ing at 1am! OMG! My kids are much older than his, and they are off the computer by 10pm. This is a recipe for disaster.

The secret Js that are sprinkled in FHs blob are really the smiley image, but depending on the font format, they convert to a letter J. No secret, just a break in the code.

Okay, you had me all the way until you got to the last sentence:
"And they can always read a book, too."
What's a "book?"

P.P.S While, I'm at it, why are there Interstate highways in Hawaii?
It has something to do with the $ that was given to the state by the Federal Gov. It was earmarked for Interstate Highways, so they call them that, even though they are Intrastate. That's my understanding!

I have a little comment about the IMing at 1am. I remember being 13 or 14 and hiding in the closet and talking on the phone with my friends until midnight or later. Granted, when my parents caught me they were pissed, not smiling, like FH. So, I think Vanessa is getting to the age where that is normal, especially if she has a friend over, but Eddie is still so young.
My boys are still little, so we're not faced with cell phones, texting and IMing for several more years but it does scare the sh*t out of me- all the freaks out there that try to weasel their way in to kids' lives.
I've been down with the stomach flu all day, it's nice to check in and say HI. I was laying in bed this morning thinking 'What are the Drama Clubbers up to today?' Haha! :wavey:

Somebody (I don't remember who and with all the recent activity here I didn't have the patience to go back and look) asked me what happened with FH, my husband and I...I'll make a long story short, or at least less long
A couple years ago, my husband had just gotten back from Iraq, and his "thank God I'm alive" celebration was getting a new truck...so we went to the dealership to look and the station happened to be there doing some kind of promo thing. So my husband and I were looking at a truck and talking to the salesman when FH walked up. My husband was wearing a USMC shirt and FH noticed and said we shouldn't be looking at a truck that nice because there was no way a Marine could afford it. My husband then spoke (he has a very thick TX accent) and FH commented about him being "a redneck AND a Marine" and basically just made fun of us. We walked off the lot after that and got his truck elsewhere.

This afternoon my mother in law came in and was telling me that she got stuck driving through Encinitas behind a horse trailer...and so I've come up with my theory on why he won't be able to do the 3-day. He will agree to ride horses with LBM, because he's such a great friend, but his fat ass won't be able to saddle up and he'll injure himself trying to get on the horse.
Of course, he won't admit that...it will be more along the lines of "I was trying to rescue a deaf, blind child on a run-away horse, and when I leapt from my horse to the child's I was injured so I can't walk in the 3-day but that's ok, because the child is fine and now his parents will have another baby and name it Tommy in my honor"

Surfing Texan, this is off topic, but what ever happened with your son's teacher at school?
Another parent who was class helper one day complained on my behalf because while she was there the teacher was making fun of his name. She also complained because the teacher ignored a little girl in the class who was crying and when the parent volunteer went to check on her the teacher snapped for her to be left alone because she was just a dramatic child trying to get attention. So the school director finally acknowledged that maybe the teacher didn't "agree with our life-style and career choices and was targeting my son", so now he's getting put in another class. He won't be returning to the school next year

Unfortunately I don't think much will be done about her not returning. My son goes to a private school, so I think its a lot more difficult to "get rid of" the teachers who maybe don't belong there. Public schools wouldn't accept my son, so private was the way we had to go for kindergarten

Nope, Tommy, this doesn't suprise me at all! He's so disgusting. The calorie tally that someone did depends on his serving sizes. How much turkey did he put on the sandwich? Mayo? How much oatmeal? The meatball sandwich @ Subway is 560 calories for a 6" so I'm SURE the Oggies one is way more than that. The "grilled chicken" plate at Baker's square could have been the "grilled chicken primavera" plate w/ pasta and creamy sauce... which would make it more than 500 calories or whatever was posted. I didn't see just a grilled chicken plate on their menu, but I didn't look that closely. A whole effing pizza??? He's disgusting. I hope it's fun for him when he's laying in a hospital bed after his heart attack... if he survives.

If FH is such a good son, and has always taken care of his mom, yadda, yadda...why didnt his "master suite" go to her I wonder? She could have moved in with him and had 24 hour care. If either of my parents was that ill, I wouldn't want to be 45+ minutes away from them. Somebody mentioned the drive from PQ to CV being a lengthy one, well tack onto that extra time since he supposedly sleeps with the Mooch up in Escondido every night.
Hmmm, well, on a practical point, the master suite is upstairs. So she'd have to crash on the couch... if she's on the couch, he'd actually have to sleep in the master suite, and then where would LBM be? LBM's far more of a Big Deal than his mom...

They wouldn't accept him because of his age (he's 4), and misses the cut-off but mentally/socially he was ready to start. He passed all the assessment testing, but the public system still wouldn't sign the waiver.

FH blob - He mentioned a small fanny pack & his & Mooch's shoes? Both? Are his feet that tiny? Why am I asking a question I already know the answer to?
Well, if it's true what they say about shoe size and the size of you know what (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN) then I suppose that Amused would be the one to confirm this for us or not. (So sorry to bring up really bad memories, Amused, I almost have to use the puke icon even mentioning it here but I'll refrain!).
HA HA HA! For some reason this really cracked me up, the "bad memories" part... if Amused remembers that part of her marriage like I remember that part of my first marriage, it's more funny than anything. Oftentimes I wanted to ask him, "Are you in yet?"

It's been great reading the roll call and seeing everyone step up and be counted. I have an idea for a game to keep things lively. We have to make sure we do something so we don't die of boredom reading XXXL's blobs.
Ok, here's the game. We play the alphabet game -- each person takes the next letter (like we did with numbers). You post a word or a phrase that starts with your letter and represents or is connected to the spewgram. The only problem is that I don't know how to start it because I can't think of anything for A (except A$$ for XXXL). I can think of "Big Deal" for B. Can anyone think of something to start us off with for "A"?

Here’s what I ate yesterday. Oatmeal, turkey sandwich, taco from Taco Bell, bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell, small pepsi, ½ a apple carmel thingy from Taco Bell, grilled chicken plate from Baker’s Square, I ripped off about 10 french fries from Michelle’s sister’s plate, 6 inch tuna sandwich from Subway, a meatball sandwich from Oggi’s, one cheese pizza from Oggi’s, and a lot of water and a sip of Sprite.
Okay, even if we give him the benefit of the doubt and round-down a little, here's the breakdown of his day (and I researched the best I could!). Reading this list gives me heartburn--I can't believe he wrote that looking "item to item" it's not so bad--TOMMY--IT IS BAD. Other than the oatmeal, there's not a good choice amongst the bunch. Who eats a whole pizza and 3 subways in one day???? And that's excluding breakfast and lunch!!!!
TOMMY'S BINGE
oatmeal (assuming instant/quick cooked and no fat added, sugar/raisins or milk): 200 calories, up to 500 calories if he added anything
turkey sandwich (L'il Pepper Deli?): about 300-700 calories--he's vague here, so I'm guessing it was a generous portion with all the trimmings so let's make that 500 calories
taco (assuming original): 170 calories
Bean and Cheese Burrito: 350 calories
1/2 caramel apple empenada: 145 calories
"grilled chicken plate" from Baker's Square (no such thing exactly--they have grilled chix with pasta or rice with stir fried veg--assuming it's one of those): approximately 500 calories, but probably more
10 french fries: 135 calories
Subway 6 inch tuna sandwich: 530 calories--he probably chose this because he thought it was healthy!
meatball sandwich: 500-700 calories so let's assume 550 since that's what Subway's is approximately
cheese pizza: he's vague again here, so let's assume he ate a whole medium cheese pizza. May have been larger. I think if it was a small/individual size, he would have said so. And he's probably thinking a cheese pizza is healthier than the other options...1500 calories--and that's even assuming thin crust.
cumulative soda (let's assume 10oz total): 130 calories
For a grand total of: 4710 calories with about 180g of fat!!! That's about double what he should eat on a normal day, even if he's training. I wonder if he ate anything else and was just too embarrassed to mention it.

Ok, so you would think I would have better things to do on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but I am dizzy and sick to my stomach after reading fatty's latest food binge. Here's my calculations. Please note that these are ballpark figures, since some of the websites did not have complete nutritional information
Oatmeal 130 calories
Milk for oatmeal 90 calories
Turkey sandwich 442 calories
Taco from Taco Bell 170 calories
Bean Burrito 350 calories
Small Pepsi 150 calories
1/2 apple carmel thingy from Taco Bell -Sorry folks, couldn't find that anywhere!
Grilled chicken plate from Bakers Square 560 calories
10 french fries 200 calories
6" tuna sub from Subway 530 calories
Meatball sandwich from Oggi's 534 calories
Cheese pizza from Oggi's -Now this is tricky. We don't know what size pizza he ate, but I going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say 4 slices 920 calories
sip of sprite 5 calories
Ok, are you ready?? 4005 calories!
And read the end of the blob "I just read the list of items that I ate, and it doesn't sound that bad"
I cannot comment further
I missed this page! I think it's hilarious that we got close tot he same amount of calories...for carbs, I estimate about 600g.

Sunday October 21, 2007 6:30am: Just 6 hours ago I had three 8-10 year old’s watching a scary movie downstairs and throwing pillows at eachother…upstairs were three 12-13 year old’s giggling and playing around on the computer and everytime they heard me walk by they would become quiet and just smile at me like Eddie Haskell……In an isolated soundproofed room upstairs was a little 18 month old girl sleeping quietly and peacefully not knowing of the craziness all around the house. I also had a 35 year old fiancé just getting to bed in the master bedroom upstairs. Where was I? I was driving around looking for an open bar to drink my troubles away-------JUST KIDDING! I was downstairs in the family room with the TV on, but just listening to the different sounds made by all of the kids at that very moment and realizing to myself there is no other place that I would rather be than right here, right now. All the “stuff” from the past and all the suggestions and advice to when we should be married and all the criticism about being engaged so fast didn’t mean a darn thing to me at all, because the sound I was hearing a few minutes after midnight was all I needed to hear to know in my heart that the Brady Bunch can exist in 2007 and beyond! J
Now, it’s 6:30 Sunday morning! The house is dark. The 3 kids downstairs somehow managed to build a tent after midnight out of chairs and sheets and are sprawled out on the floor. The upstairs room where the older kids were at is also dark, suspiciously dark where I may need to do a head count and literally look to see if there are real bodies in there and NOT props to assist a late night escape down the block. That 35 year old fiancé is now snuggling her 18 month old girl and softly snoring giving a calming sound to the room for the baby to sleep. Where am I? I’m trying to get the heck out of DODGE before they all wake up. JUST KIDDING! I’m right here in my computer room downstairs with the door closed trying to be really quiet while looking at Pamela Anderson pictures in Google Images. Just kidding again! I’m just checking in with you and getting my stuff together for a 9am Bikram Yoga class. I’m not doing Cowles Mountain this morning. I’m holding off on Cowles Mountain until after the 3 day to avoid any unfortunate injury.
Speaking of which: Last night around 8 O’clock, I’m going from room to room just playing around and talking to the kids and sneaking a kiss from time to time with Michelle as she was working on a work project in the kitchen. She has her laptop and printer and “stuff” from work all on top of the kitchen table. I was roaming around the house WHEN all of a sudden I a nerf football appears in my path. I try to avoid the toy ball but my foot gets caught between a toy dinosaur and I turn my ankle and I fall to the floor next to the TV while a episode of Hannah Montana was on. There I am on the floor 3 weeks away from the 3 day and I hurt my ankle avoiding a frickin nerf football in my own living room. I would much rather say I was on Cowles Mountain where I tried to avoid a falling rock and twisting my foot while saving a baby coyote from getting hurt. BUT, in reality I’m wobbling around because I twisted my ankle trying to avoid a nerf football and got stuck between a toy dinosaur. I think I’ll be fine and I think I just need to walk it off.
I hear FUEL TV on now. That means Eddie is up! That boy made me proud yesterday. Eddie was making the little baby Evelyn just crack up where it had to hurt from laughing so much. You know what I mean? Do you ever laugh so hard, it hurts? Well, Michelle was sitting with Evelyn on the skateboard ramps watching Eddie skateboard. Eddie was going back and forth from ramp to ramp as if he was naturally hypnotizing the baby. She was smiling at him and Eddie would skate right up to her and simply touch her hand and when he touched her, she just laughed and laughed. It went on for about 10 long minutes and then Eddie would do some kickflips in front of the baby and she would put her hands to her face like in HOME ALONE and then clap her hands and jump up and down each time he landed a trick. Eddie was having fun and Evelyn was loving every second of it too.
HEY, I hear MTV ON NOW and it’s one of those DATING SHOWS with 3 girls…..I think I better go out there and turn the channel to DISNEY.

you should email him that list of calories you came up with and tell him to cut his food consumption down by like 75%...there is no way he is loosing weight if he is always eating like that....that is so disgusting though....I bet he'll have lost weight though the next time he steps on a scale...he is so annoying

He never fails to amaze me with his bad parenting...this time the kids are up till past midnight...did Vanessa and Eddie have friends over or were the other kids Mooch's? I'm confused...regardless all the kids were once again up later than they should have been.
I like that he may need to do a head count to make sure the girls and boys are not together....he is such a perv. If he'd pay attention to the kids and not trying to sneak kisses in with Mooch then perhaps he'd know where the kids were sleeping. Its obvious he went to be and let them stay up since the tent wasn't there when he went to bed last night. Ugh I want to report him to child services or something.
Looks like he may already be trying to fake his injury for the three day with the whole nerf ball incident....c'mon at least make it a little more interesting tommy....

I thought the same thing when I read that...I dont know how old the baby is but sitting on a skateboard ramp does not sound safe for anyone of any age....what is wrong with these people? It really is like a circus at that house....they do things most normal people would never do. its so annoying...and Im not sure what kickflips are but kicking in front of a baby sounds so dangerous....ugh

I've decided I should send my mother in law to FH's to give them all a good talking to. Last night we had a little 5 y/o boy over to play with my oldest son for a few hours while his parents went to a wedding rehearsal (one of the parents works with my husband). My mother in law made beef stew for dinner and the little boy refused to eat it. When she gave it to him he said "what is this junk?". I guess when she asked him what he normally eats for dinner he said, chicken dinosaurs, cheese puffs, corn dogs, french fries or taquitos. My mother in law convinced the kid to try it, and he liked it and ate all of it, but when his parents got to our house to pick him up, my mother in law lectured his parents on his eating habits and disrespectful behavior...(he tossed handfuls of water all over the bathroom, broke 1 of my daughters toys, broke crayons and said "shut up" several times).
I just can't believe these people have nobody in their lives that is wiling to tell them how terrible their parenting skills are.

Tommy forgets that the Brady Bunch had parents who disciplined their kids and were actually around to interact with them, rather than sitting in a room alone, apart from the kids, just listening to all the mayhem and mischief. They also had rules, expectations and supervision. Why he finds the noise reassuring rather than actually spending face-to-face time talking, listening and doing things WITH his kids is really frightening to me. He's mentioned this a few times. Those kids are not safe in his house with access to the internet and TV 24 hours a day. When do they sleep? When do they do homework and projects?

I'm afraid to click. I have a weak stomach, I'm a bleeder, and I cry easily. I fear these links will cause all 3 events to occur

If there was any doubt about FH reading this message board, there should be no doubt any longer. I think he is totally lieing about his food intake and about twisting his ankle, just to get a rise out of us. And it worked! He's a big fat liar.
Big and Fat!
Dawnski, this is exactly what I've been thinking ever since he posted that bogus food diary. No way did he really eat all of that and then act like it was normal. He's just writing that crap after reading our posts and sitting back laughing at the rest of us as we go to town to try and figure out how he can be such a complete idiot. We're being played. The ankle/nerfball story is his ploy #2. Don't think for a second that his head isn't getting bigger by the minute as he draws power from our ongoing discussions about his ridiculous, barf-spewed blobbing.
Hi Tummy, I'm onto you and know what game you're playing!

I'll let someone else take the "Z".
I'd like to use the word of the day.
Did FH almost twist his cankle? Does he have cankles? Does Laura have cankles.
Yes, yes, yes.
I used ankle and bumped it up a notch.

O.K., when I think of "our" crew, the words that come to mind are:
Zip.
Zilch.
Zero.
and, (as self-appointed keeper of the ethnocentric list):
Zenophobic (which technically should be under "x", I know)

I think my favorite from "A to Z" comes courtesy of "Dawnski"
"Y -- Yeasty --LBM" Tasteless -- yet funny. My kind of treat.

Sunday October 21, 2007 6:30am: Just 6 hours ago... I also had a 35 year old fiancé just getting to bed in the master bedroom upstairs.
Isn't that where Horse face (LBM) sleeps?

It makes a good read to take one deep breath, and fly through an A to Z recap: Ready? Go!

I think I just read 20 pages of posts!! Am I #113? If not, can someone with an actual brain fire up the Mathmatical Mystery Machine and let me know what number I am. Who Me? (Should have had a question mark when I signed up!!)

It also occured to me that he gave Eddie's girlfriends' name in his blahg. So unless he gave her a fake name, here's another kid he will embarrass or potentially put in harm's way.

Happy to oblige, and welcome! Cat Woman is #113, so that makes you #114.

I wasn't here for the last round of wildfires, I only read about them online and talked to my family almost hourly. This is kind of scary...though the fires are far away from me. EVERYTHING smells of smoke, and my asthma is starting to act up. I can't imagine how horrifying it must have been for all of you who were here then. Let us all pray (mediate, contemplate, mediate as you wish) that we escape the same fate this time...one person is already dead. May there be no more, and minimal property damage.

My man is out there fighting the Harris fire. Let's pray for the safety of the firefighters, as well.

XXXLFH can "play" us all he wants with his illiterate blogs, but it's inevitable - he's not going to finish that 3Day (he may not even make it to the actual event). He can jack around with us all he likes, but we all know he's gonna drop out at some point.
He and the Mooch will also end up staying at a swanky hotel, and will also have an "entourage" to take care of all of his "medical" issues (that's in the very slim chance that he'll actually make it to the walk).
To take a phrase from their showgram of yore "he makes me wanna :puke: "
