DreamerGal: Sending your loved one good vibes - firefighters are true heros. It makes me sick that a bunch of losers make MILLIONS working 4 hours a day boring San Diego to tears on the radio, and there are people like your guy putting his life on the line every day for us - there's not enough money in the world to ever be able to pay that debt back.

Thank you. I agree that my guy and his brothers and sisters are heros. And I hate this part of his job!!! I like having him close and safe. But this is his job and he does love it! (Go figure!) Oh, and the self-important-vapid-pompous-spewers can do whatever they want to make themselves feel important. They will never rise to the level of my man.

My man is out there fighting the Harris fire. Let's pray for the safety of the firefighters, as well.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, your man and all the rest of the firefighters and police. My home barely survived the Cedar fire, but 165 homes in my development were lost. The firefighters and police assigned to my street, thankfully, were able to save our entire block. We'll never forget their heoroic actions and will always feel emmense gratitude for their service.

DreamerGal ~ Your man [and all the others] are in my thoughts.
It is just four days shy of the four year anniversary of the Cedar Fire. Those days are forever etched in my mind. This morning was so beautiful. One of the days that makes me love my house and the view out front. So much that I took a pic of the fog pulling back out of the canyons. Fast forward ten hours, and I snapped a pic from the same view, but the sky was brown/black with smoke.
Jake - Nice A to Z recap. Pretty much defines em all.
ca_girl and Dawnski - I had the same thought too. Although, I first thought, did Moochelle climb in bed with LBM?

XXXLFH can "play" us all he wants with his illiterate blogs, but it's inevitable - he's not going to finish that 3Day (he may not even make it to the actual event). He can jack around with us all he likes, but we all know he's gonna drop out at some point.
He and the Mooch will also end up staying at a swanky hotel, and will also have an "entourage" to take care of all of his "medical" issues (that's in the very slim chance that he'll actually make it to the walk).
To take a phrase from their showgram of yore "he makes me wanna :puke: "
I agree with you. We know he's not going to fulfill his promises to anyone. He's so full of his own lies that he probably can't tell the difference anymore between his reality and the world's reality. FH is so full of his own self-importance that he fails to see how he traps himself with his gameplaying, lies and stupidity. He loses. Those of us who see through him and call him on his gameplaying keep it real.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I truly appreciate it.
With regard to our little tubby-tummy, I just think he's sort of on a "death spiral" in his behavior. If he is messing with us in his blob, then what does he think he's saying to those "loyal listeners" who "care" about his "honorable quest?" The "just kidding" comments are coming more often and seem to be more outrageous every time. Then, he says something that he perceives as sweet and fatherly, like it's 1am and the kids are still up im-ing and watching movies, and he might have to do a head count to make sure they didn't escape during the night, and it just comes out so odd and wierd.
I'm just waiting for the Good Humor men to come to the FH household and take some of them away ... THAT's how he's going to avoid the 3-day ... he'll have a complete mental breakdown. Hmmmmmmm

Just a random observation. I'm sitting here on the bed, watching the news updates, checking out updates on the san diego county emergency website, and drinking a tall glass of ice water.
It's soooooooo dry today, there's been no condensation at all on my glass. I usually have to mop up the condensation. That tells you how dry it is out there and why the fires are so strong. Jeez, I want it to rain!!!

My heros: Our military, our firefighters. My prayers are with all the heros in harm's way tonight. Dreamer, if you need someone to talk to, PM me and I'll send you my number. I know I'm a stranger, but I'm a good friend.
As for Tubby...well there's nothing I can say right now. I'm so angry about how irresponsible he has been this weekend as a parent that I just can't find the words. At least he slept in a different room from Moochelle in the same house as his kds...supposedly. Amused...you are one heck of a woman. My hat is off to you.
As for LBM...she threw away the dream life that she had, all because she didn't want to, or could not, grow up. She may well have kicked the booze and lines, but the immaturity is still intact. As for where she is this weekend, I recall that she had the kids...so maybe DC is out of town or possibly they're doing their hotel tour??
Looking forward to this week of postings :) May we all have safe places to keep in touch from!

You're right, SDGirl, LBM went to her mother's this weekend. I wonder what kind of sanitization measures she will need to take to make that bed habitable after the weekend shenanigans between FH and Mooch. I'm not sure Lysol will be able to cover it! HaHa.

The cedar fire was so horrible and got very close to me here by hwy 52 & Genesee.. even now there is still burned tree's etc near miramar. comming home the sunset was so earie looking. I too will be up watching the fires and praying no one else get hurt and God's speed for safety and containment. I have a few pages to read as I was busy with church today & taking care of dear o'dad but wanted to check in to make sure hopefully all was well with our DC and the fires affecting all of us one way or another.

I remember the first time my husband was in Iraq...he had been there about 2 weeks, and I was still so wound up I walked around with the cell phone in my pocket, and the cordless phone in my hand. We have programmable phones so we can set specific ring tones for certain numbers. So one night when he called, it rang the tone we had set for US Govt calls, and I went so ballistic that I ran around the living room in search of the phone that was in my hand the whole time.

I guess I've been living today with my head in the ground - the first I heard of the latest fires was right here from this thread!
I, too, send good thoughts and prayers to all those that are fighting the fires. Firefighters, Police Officers and all Military are also at the top of my list as Heros!
My only thought about XXXL and the 3-Day is that even if he bails, no strike that, WHEN he bails, he will still have raised a bunch of money for a very important cause. Granted, he could have been dedicated to the cause this whole YEAR and raised a boatload more money, but even his measly $2200 will be appreciated! Assuming he follows through with the fundraising and raises as least the minimum required to walk....

This in non spewgram related (sorry!) I am currently watching TV, and evacuation notices keep poping up on the screen. None of the news stations seems to give detailed information, but I was curious...
Are these fires, as big and as fast moving as they make them seem (can they be compared to the fires of 2003) or is the news just playing them up so they have something to talk about?

Nice Tommy! Treat everything like a joke.....
We all know you don't take parenting seriously. To you being a parent means using your kids for your own gain and make you sound credible because you're a father (in name only). Your listeners/followers/cohorts think you're a great father because of the lies you post in your daily blob.
Hello in Guamanian is hafa Adai!BTW...of course you knew that...you were just being funny...NOT!
Also, nice scenario there with the twisting of your ankle as a way to passively show your aggressive nature.....also that you read this thread! Keep reading and get more ideas from here to entertain your followers. You've been running out of material.. At least we can give you ideas here.
Thinking of all of the brave firefighters out there and saying a prayer for all of them!

I just walked outside to take out the garbage cans and the smoke smell is very strong (I'm just west of downtown)...this is eerily reminescent of the 2003 fires - which also raged out of control on a Sunday.
I have coworkers that live in Ramona and San Diego Country Estates - both just evacuated. I can't watch TV coverage because my son is still awake...
Yikes.

Carol, to answer your question...this from the latest article on signonsandiego.com; all indicate are that indeed, they are as bad as they seem:
***************************
Cal Fire Capt. Randy Scales said officials are investigating whether downed power lines sparked the blaze. The fire appeared to be headed south of Ramona, Scales said. Winds had died down some, but they were still averaging 20 mph to 30 mph.
Reports from Riverside and Los Angeles indicated winds were picking up, however, Scales said.
“We're expecting it to get stronger tonight,” Scales said.
If winds increase later Sunday, several communities were on alert, Scales said, and the Witch fire has become the region's primary concern.
“This is almost a deja vu of the Cedar Fire,” Scales said, referring to the weather conditions. The Cedar Fire killed 15 people, destroyed more than 2,200 homes and burned more than 280,000 acres in October 2003.
*************************
He was talking about the north fire; listening to the news the Harris fire is just as serious and scary. I'm thinking of our DC guy out there too.

I wasn't here for the last round of wildfires, I only read about them online and talked to my family almost hourly. This is kind of scary...though the fires are far away from me. EVERYTHING smells of smoke, and my asthma is starting to act up. I can't imagine how horrifying it must have been for all of you who were here then. Let us all pray (mediate, contemplate, mediate as you wish) that we escape the same fate this time...one person is already dead. May there be no more, and minimal property damage.
Hi guys,
Our dear family friends lost a daughter in the last fires and their other daughter was severly burned. In fact, that daughter just received a national award in DC for being such a positive role model for other burn victims. We just got a phone call that our other friends are being evacuated from Ramona. My husband's office is in Ramona, and he's on the phone now directing his employees where else to go (I don't want to give to much info about us on the board which is why this sounds so vague and goofy, but also I am sitting here with tears in my eyes because last fires my son, daughter, and I got stuck in a circle of fire and I had to make the decision to speed the car through an opening. It was terrifying, and that's the fire that our friends' daughter did not make it out of. The smoke got too thick and she got disoriented and crashed the car into a tree. So, I'm rambling and while we are nowhere in the line of fire right now, this is bringing back horrible memories.
To my DC pal whose husband is out there fighting the fire, my prayers! I will go back to see who you are after I post this. Everyone -- keep safe! Times like these I don't miss the rains of Ireland. And now I'm going to read our board to bring some laughter to my evening.

Yes, they're gnarley fires. The humidity is down to 7% out in east county, and the Santa Ana winds have been pushing the fire outrageously. The fires doubled in size (Julian from 4,000 acres to 8,000 acres, and Harris Fire in Potrero from 2,500 to 5,000 acres) in a couple of hours earlier today.

OMG!!! I remember that like it was yesterday. Were you the neighbors? My mom met the young lady, isn't she an Irish dancer or something?
I hope you guys are ok. I am in Del Mar and my poor dog won't go out to go potty. I took her for a quick walk and my eyes are burning still. I feel bad but she pee'd on the neighbor's yard!
Sorry, I side-tracked.
I hope and pray for all our firefighters and their families and for everyone out in those areas! We housed 20 people from Scripps Ranch last time. It was a great bonding experience with the underlying scary tones with it. I hope this time it isn't as bad and they can get it under control.
Sorry for the rambling.

One of the daughters names ( beginning with A ) not sure of the name of which one survived..such a brave young lady and I do remember the ordeal you went through which was also on the news.. no one should have to go through that at all much less twice.. last I heard was ALL of Ramona be evacuated.

Yes, they are very big in the Irish American community which is how we know them (my husband and I are from Ireland). Ashleigh is the daughter who was killed. Allyson survived. I don't mean in ANY way to equate the 15 minutes of fear the kids and I had to the horror that their family endured, and still endures. They had a wonderful party at their home last night, a Ceile (a traditional Irish dance party) -- and to think that now they are facing these memories and the fire is headed (but far away) in that direction.
My brother just called. He lives north of LA and his neighborhood is on alert to evacuate. He can see the flames on the ridge above his house. He and his wife are staying awake tonight in case they have to get the kids out fast.

Gosh, I have thought about Allyson and Ashleigh a dozen times today. It is kind of funny that you mention them right after I spent all day trying to recall their names.
As the fires keep growing I am repeating my mantra, "Don't worry until you know you have something to worry about." It helped when my hubby was in Iraq and again when he had surgery last week. So far, so good!

Please stay safe everyone!!! I lived in East County during the Ceder Fires and it scared the hell out of me. We had to evacuate and our house ended up burned around the perimeter. Thank God for the goats that ate the brush... they saved the house. On one corner of the house, the fire burned to within 2 inches of the wall. So scary. My sister in law and I were driving the animals out and a burning tree fell right in front of the SUV. My car got left behind and all of the plastic on my car melted off... even the tires and plastic moulding on the doors.
Please stay safe and be careful. You are all in my prayers!

Thanks, Texasgirl ... you are right. I am sitting here having the worst flashbacks. I have no reason to worry right now because I'm not in the line of fire. But it's like it's not 2007 right now. I swear, my mind is back four years ago going minute by minute over the scariest episode in my life (and I lived in Belfast during the "troubles" for Pete's sake!) but your post reminded me of the fact that I am in charge of my thoughts; they are not in charge of me. Geez, or should I say Holy Balls, that sounds like something that XXXL would say. I'm not really this vapid on a normal day, I promise.
Oh my gosh! I am watching the news conference on tv right now and they are asking people to stop driving east to look at the fires. What sort of jacka$$ drives into a fire to take a peek.

DreamerGal, my thoughts and prayers are with you, your man, all the firefighters who are out there and those who have lost their homes and lives today as a result of the fires. I'm close to the Santiago Canyon fire(s) in Orange County. I, too, have my cat carriers out and a couple suitcases packed & ready to go. I feel nervous to my stomach, but know that this is way bigger than me and I just have to trust in God and the firefighters who are out there working their a$$es off to save us.

I've gotten 3 calls from 3 different wives of Marines that work for my husband, and they're all being evacuated (from 3 different areas). It's like deja vu. Shortly here I'll have 11 kids, 6 dogs, and 5 adults in my house...but the news doesn't go on when my kids are awake, no exceptions...so I'll be checking in with you all to make sure everybody is ok!

Good morning everyone,
I talked to my mom last night and my step-dad's family lives in Tecate...as of last night they hadn't needed to evacuate but I don't know the conditions of the fire this morning. I hope the fire doesn't reach them. They had a vacation house in Julian that was burned during the big fires a few years ago, I'd hate to see them loose another house, it'd be absolutely devastating.
I hope everyone is safe and no one is in a serious danger. I only know about the fires from what little my mom has told me so any updated information throughout the day would be great...sadly enough my work blocks news websites...
I can't imagine having to deal with the fires, I haven't lived in San Diego since 03 so I have missed out on all the major fires but I'm sure its terrifying...you guys are all really brave and admire that...Im sure if I were there I'd be loosing my mind.

thank you! biatch is hello in Guamanian
I like how he doesn't try to defend the fact he is a good father or anything....anyways I dont know what biatch means in Guamanian but what he wrote in his blog is this
“what up dad”…..I say, “hey, biatch, how are you”….
so he is saying hey, hello, how are you? Im not sure that exactly makes much sense...Ugh he is such a bad parent....who says that even if does mean hello in another language the word biatch isn't appropriate in the English language. He makes me mad...:boxing:

I'm a teacher and I just got word that my school is closed. Usually I would be happy to get a day off, but I'm so worried about my kids (students). The fires aren't near their houses this time, but so many of them lost their houses in the Paradise fires 4 years ago. Many of them are still emotionally devastated and I know this will bring back scary memories. I'll be praying for all the firefighters and their families.

Are you near any of the fires? I'm assuming you're Navy...I don't know what the Navy is doing for families that are being evacuated...I would assume similar to the Marine Corps (thats us)...I've got 4 other military families here...we're trying to be upbeat and keep the kids busy playing. If you need a place to go, or know any military family who does send me a PM and I'll give you all my contact information. I'm over in Cardiff...I don't know how tough it would be to get here now that the freeways are closed but if I can help, let me know. SDReadHead, I remember Ashleigh and Allyson Roach. Was last night's party their annual party that they had the night before the Cedar fire (and the night of Ashleigh's homecoming dance)? I reread their story recently as I was looking for updates on Allyson--how is she healing? What is she doing? (not a stalker, just wondering and hoping she is well)

I'm still teaching today, SD Unified School District. The air quality is horrible, we have no a/c, which is what officials are saying will filter the air, and we're on "rainy day" schedule, meaning windows, doors closed, and no recess or lunch outside. Oh joy of joys, why won't they just close us down?
4 years ago, I recall 2 important things:
1. San Diego Unified School district made us work one whole day before deciding to close down for the remainder of the week.
2. I was pregnant with my first child at the time, freaking out about my house burning down, sleeping in our little motor home in Target parking lot...
And today, here I am preggo again with the fire and the teaching, and my husband says maybe I'm cursed! :disa:
He is so inspiring, isn't he?

Yep, Mooch has a nanny and is never with her kids. That means she can have Tommy buy her 3 meals-a-day out at restaurants as well as manis/pedis and massages. She has nothing to do but have others wait on her....raising her kids and catering to her ever want. TOMMY, you sure know how to pick em!:shake:

My husband is up in Valley center, so it is up to me to get everything ready if we need to go (which is doubtful). This is a silly question but when do you start seriously packing and putting things in the car? I tend to get overlly anxious about fires, and I always have ever since I was a child. So I don't want to pack up just out of fear. Any advice?

If you don't feel comfortable, go ahead and leave. Better to be safe than sorry. It's important to stay calm. So, if you're feel anxious know, do what you can to get yourself relaxed, and make yourself not feel rushed.

Ok, I live in Normal Heights. It's clear and hardly breezy here at all, but the stench of smoke is horrible. I work in Del Mar, but our office has closed. We were told that it was mandatory evac from 56 to the 78 all the way to the ocean, so we got the heck out of dodge. It's HORRIBLE in Del Mar compared to here. They are evacing to the Stadium, which is near my house so I feel pretty safe here. Finally got a hold of Mom in Fallbrook, and they're ok, though without power.
I have a small guest room that can accommodate 2 people and a HUGE L shaped sectional that's comfie. I have a tiny house and a tiny bathroom and a dog, but it beats a fire. PM me if you need to get out.
I called my Dad in Philly and tried to explain how bad it is. I said "Dad, the city is on fire!" he told me to stop being so dramatic! I said oh really? Turn on the news...massive evacuations...freeways closed...what do YOU call it? Sure, downtown isn't burning, but just about every other community is! GEESH. He ticked me off.
J/J are actually doing a decent job today. I rarely get to listen to them as I go in to work at 5:30 ... but since I was driving home, I turned them on. They really are doing a decent job. Imagine.

Mamasterls, your boss is a jacka$$. Your life is so much more important than work. One of our lawyers was screaming that she needed her people to come in today because she has motions due tomorrow. I live in an RV park already and have an empty condo in Mission Valley (it WAS for sale due to the condo nazis). I have an animal business and my friend and I have a shop. I've invited my animal training colleagues to utilize my condo (2 dogs), my friend with 7 cats and a dog to share my big RV (yowza), and have a friend who owns a motorhome on her way to my park (3 dogs + 1 child). Boy are we full!
I am near Fiesta Island--I wonder if they'll open that up to let people camp out on the bay with their pets (even horses--horses wade in the water all the time there)? PM me if you have equipment needs for pets--I have quite a supply. Our shop is also donating food and things.
Also, my nephew is a firefighter--my thoughts and prayers are with him now and yours too. Take care and be safe.
Here's an idea--if anyone is homeless, but has a little money....try going to some of the RV parks on Morena Blvd. and offer to rent some of the RVs that are sitting out front for sale. Try Morena Mobile Village (they have a ton of used RVs for sale and/or being stored).

Anyone else think it's crazy that San Diego Unified schools are still open? My little guy is in kindergarten, and although our area isn't threatened right now, I'm a little nervous. I would think the school system has teachers and staff that live in the evacuation areas that can't make it to school today.

Daisy, if you're uncomfortable, take him out of school! My friend in Carlsbad was taking her 11 year old to school, and she was worried. I told her to head back home, and she did. She said the traffic was crazy, and it makes sense to keep the kids close.

It is totally insane. My boy didn't go to school today, I figured it wasn't worth it even though we aren't in danger. I heard somebody call into NBC and say she is contacting the superintendent because there are so many teachers who were evacuated and couldn't make it to work. To me, i would act like a 9 mo pregnant woman waiting for my water to break. I'd have stuff by the door or in the car and just be prepared. Better to be ready than to have to rush around like a crazy person when the call comes in.
Sadly, my sister is about 3 weeks due and she just got evacuated from Carmel Valley. She called me sobbing because she had just finished painting her daughter's room last week (she did a huge mural that involved a castle and dragons) and is afraid she'll never see her house and the stress will cause her to go into early labor (she had pregnancy problems with my niece the first time around). I'm in Seattle, so if I could send all of our rains, I'd do it in an instant.
Additionally, my parents and bed-ridden grandma are in north Escondido, so I'm praying like crazy that the fires don't head out there since I don't know how they're going to evacuate my grandma.
I'm sending you guys all the good thoughts and I'll try to blow the rain down there somehow!
Also, to DreamerGal and all of the other firefighter/police partners...thank you.

My bet is that the rest of SDUSD will close by tomorrow. My kids' noses are all sniffling and we have 2 with asthma acting up. Hacking is also going on, and right now during Writer's Workshop, I'm seeing a lot of stories about the fires.

I'm more worried about my parents right now (both retired and speak very little English...we're Vietnamese), and my bed-ridden Grandma (who speaks no English except "hello" and "thank you"). I was going to send them up to Irvine to stay with my aunt and uncle or my sister, but I just found out that there's a fire in Irvine that is about 4 miles from my sister's place...and I haven't gotten a hold of her yet so I hope she's safe too!

Dear Diary,
The following is what I wrote last night before the fires got so vast and dangerous. I'll send it anyway. At this moment, I am praying for everyone in harms way. This is surreal and so very scary. We'll get through this as a community. We always do:
The kids and I had such a great weekend. There was one point, I think it was Friday night, when I woke up in the wee hours of the morning completely smooshed between my sleeping boy and my sleeping girl. I thought to myself "If a magic genie came out of the ceiling fan and offered me a million dollars and an instant trip to some exotic island to get out of that bed, I would have refused all of it. Being in between my babies is just paradise for me. I realize it is a fleeting thing. Soon, they're not going to want to hang out with me, let alone snuggle, so I really savor those moments.
That is until I wake up bent like a pretzel because the kids have transformed the peaceful family bed into a twister game. Charlie is all legs and arms, and Evan must be touching me at all times throughout the night. Love it, but my poor back. I'm duck-walking again. Hello Doctor Larson!
On Saturday evening, Jenny and David and Faith came over just before dark. The boys performed a fart symphony for us by blowing into the palms of their hands. I was laughing so hard at David. That kid almost blew the windows out with his loud sounds. We were rolling. Evan and Faith were playing with dolls and things. At one point I heard Evan say "Okay, this is Evan and she's going to sleep in the tent with Laura Cain." She named one of the dolls Laura Cain.
Later that night, Erik rolled in for his birthday celebration. We had a real, solid family bonding experience. Just Jenny, Erik, Mom, the kids and Me. We could be Hietters in all our glory. Mom made Dad's famous tacos. It was perfect.
Charlie whipped out his Halloween Mad-Lib book and asked Uncle Erik to do one with him. I may be an easy laugh and immature, but dangit, those Mad-Libs are still so funny to me. They never fail to amuse, especially when you use adjectives like "juicy" and "hideous" and "piping hot."
Sunday, we visited Cindy and Curtis at their new home in Rainbow. It's on top of a hill overlooking a giant canyon. Gosh, it was so peaceful and beautiful. I'm so happy they finally finished the house of their dreams. Cindy told me that Evan held a big black stink beetle the last time she was there. Yikes! My little girl is BRAVE!
That's all for now. I'll see you tomorrow, Diary.

We hadn't received any phone calls (elementary school student) before we left the house at 7 a.m. but the LGSD website says the schools are definitely open today.
My work is fully staffed today (Serra Mesa) - but we have several employees that live in Ramona, Poway, San Diego Country Estates, etc. We had two employees that lost their homes in the Cedar fires so this is totally deja vu for us...
Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers - stay safe!!!

hey OKODM: Just received a pre-recorded message from the Lemon Grove SD that all schools in Lemon Grove will be closed tomorrow. And if they require additional days of closure, we'll be notified. Hope you can log on at work and know that you'll need to make arrangements tomorrow for your child.
Thanks for the warning....when I got home from work today I did have 2 messages (7:30 and 7:41) saying school was open today. I haven't gotten any calls yet but will make arrangements for tomorrow.

I'm in Cardiff, and it was suggested to us that we pack some things just to be sure. It seems insane to me that the fires would ever make it this close to the ocean.
I know I always assumed fires only happened inland. Be safe, pack up and be ready, getting out of the house on a normal day with kids is hard enough.

Eyeseeyou,
How did you get up to Temecula? I'm up in Wildomar, and I'd like to get my evacuated San Marcos Sister up here, but I thought that the I15 is shut down.
I wanted to thank you guys, btw, I had no idea how bad it was down there until I got on this board this morning. The news stations up here are only reporting on the LA fires.

I wish I could call my husband at free will, but sadly I can't. He was able to call from Iraq to check on us, and he got through eventually but I can't make calls out on my cell or home line now. I was trying to call NewAgeGoddess to update her, and also call the base to see where they're directing us to take our pets if I have to leave here. We have 3 large breed dogs, they can go in the back of my husband's truck to be moved, but I don't know if I can have them on base if we go there.

Hi all! First time poster and a long time lurker (at a later time I have other observations about the you-know-who peoples)! I am at pretty much between highway 76 and Old Castle/Lilac Road in Valley Center. There is an evacuation going on from the 15 and 76 to Pala Temecula Road, the fire here is more north and inland from my area but still a concern, so please be careful if you are trying to get north via Pala Temecula Road. We have been packed since early this morning and have shades of the Paradise Mountain fire coming back to haunt people here in Valley Center.
I cannot find any information on the Palomar Mountain fire, does anyone know anything on that one??
I hope all is safe with you all!!

Mamasterls, your boss is a jacka$$. Your life is so much more important than work. One of our lawyers was screaming that she needed her people to come in today because she has motions due tomorrow. A pathetic, constant wait-til-the-last-minute type person. Others in the office tried to talk sense into her and advised that her people will NOT be coming in today, and she'll have to deal with that. It is so strange where people's priorities lie in emergency situations. Hope all are safe and well. God, I'm a bundle of nerves!
