In fact, she told Vanessa that she makes him edit them in front of her. (How's that for trust) Nice way to start a marriage.
Michelle continued to complain to Vanessa about the lying in the Tubby tube and then in the next sentence would tell Vanessa,
Nothing says good parenting or responsibility like using a 12 yr old girl as an emotional crutch.
Okay, so Mooch is not going to win parent of the year by any means, and her children will prob suffer some emotional damage. However, is she a loving parent who at least TRIES to give her children a good life, and be there for them? I so hope so, children deserve the best and it always makes me so sad to hear when children do not get the love, attention and life lessons/experiences they need.

Isn't it a nice public service that this site offers Tommy all the sketchy details so he can keep it close and personal with Amanda? Geeze, it seems like it was just yesterday he was saying he was so close to her that he was covering the wedding and all...and now, the only details of her life he really knows are provided by a website filled with people who have never met Amanda, yet know so much more about her and what he really is to her...nada mucho. He doesn't really know where she honeymooned, he doesn't really know when she comes back.
Now, that's family close, isn't it?
Wonk, dearest....was it something I said?

Nah nah nah nah la la la la...nope, not letting myself hear this. :P
Ok, since I do NOT, emphasis on NOT, listen to the show any longer, what is this nonsense about "It's all about me Jeff" and a Wednesday announcement? I do confess when I turned on the radio this morning, it was set to 94.1 and I heard Jef and the rest of the gang but no "All about me Jeff". Was he late again?
I tuned out immediately, so I never heard if he came on.

I kinda doubt the shower was for Kristen--can't see her giving a Cosmo maker away. Maybe a Bible or a redneck shirt that reads "Hey is for Horses!" And WTH is a Cosmo maker anyway other than a shaker? How complicated is it???
Tommy's blog is so full of BS it's unreal--I don't even know where to start. The fact that he can't remember Amanda's age has nothing to do with Nyquil. And he heard about her place in Ramona either from his kids or through Amused via this thread.
Tommy trying to spin his time with Eddie as a positive thing is really hilarious.
Now why would Michelle want to be Laura's friend? That's almost sadder than seeking out Tommy.
I caught a few minutes of the show today--it was absolutely impossible to listen to. First, Laura rehashed her day of Halloween shopping with the kids and all the stuff she's already talked about in her diary entry from last week. The only funny part was actually really mean--she was imitating the munching noise the giant plastic maggot made and Jeff said that was the noise she made as soon as her mic was off. Wah wah. Then, they went on and on and on trying to figure out how typewriters/keyboards work for complicated languages like Chinese. I flipped back during ads on another station and they were still talking about it minutes later. They played Monster Mash (very cool song) but I'm convinced it was just to fill air time...they ahve completely run out of material. And nothing happened last week to any of us to talk about...it's not like anything happened in San Diego--the whole county--that anyone could talk about.
According to the J&J web site Jeff is "adding to his family." Anybody know what this is about?

Monday October 29, 2007 1pm: First of all, I just watched the Trinity Tigers do 15 laterals to win a football game over the weekend. It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen. Check it out on www.jeffandjer.com
Hey, guess what? I learned how to cook with Laura today. I’ve always KNEW I should learn how to cook. My mom is the best cook in the world. When she was stronger she was able to cook for many people everyday. FOOD was synonymous to my house back in the 70’s and 80’s and my mom cooked like no other. Eddie knows how to cook better than me. His mom is a great cook as well and she teaches Eddie how to cook. I know how to do Top Ramen and I microwave breakfast for the kids.
But not anymore, today was my first step to learning how to cook. I have it in my blood to cook, I just never learned. My dad was a chef at the Hotel Del in the 60’s and I kind of remember going to the Hotel Del back then. I was only 3-4 years old, but I do recall going back in the kitchen area and everyone picking me up to kiss me. That’s why I love the Hotel Del so much. I love to walk the Hotel Del to see if I can trigger a memory of my dad. I have a feeling if I go to the kitchen I might see something that may make me remember.
Okay, I got off the topic, sorry about that:
Lisa Busalacchi came over a few hours ago to do a episode of TOMMYTUBE and she taught Laura and me how to cook. We did penne pasta. Hey did you know that penne pasta is named penne because it’s shaped like a pen at the ends? When Lisa brought out the pasta, I said, “hey rigatonne” and she corrected me and told me the difference. Rigatonne is cut off straight. Did that make sense?
It was easy and forgive me for not knowing the basics of cooking. I’m 43 and I will know how to cook and I’ll be a great cook too. I never really had to learn how to cook when I was younger, because I was surrounded by great cooks. BUT, now I will learn, because it would be kind of romantic if I made a nice dinner for Michelle one night and put roses in the middle of the table and she just had to sit there and I prepared the food. One day I will know how to do that. The longtime joke in my family with Eddie and Vanessa is ME not knowing how to cook, the day I cook for them a REAL dinner, they may not know what to say. I can’t wait.
So, watch Tommytube later on this afternoon. Next week on Tommytube we go to BIKRAM YOGA!
All is well. I do feel a bit sore in my tummy area. I think it’s the sit ups I did the other day, but it’s more of a pain than being sore from working out. I don’t think it’s kidney stones, because I don’t have that back pain like I did with kidney stones back in March. I’m in pain, but not that type of pain back then.
3 Day: I’m excited. I think Tommytube is following us on the 3 Day, so that will be cool to have it documented.
I feel really good right now. I’m thinking of the weekend and it was a very very important weekend with the kids and Michelle. We had some really good talks.
I’ve went out with some girls in the past and none of them were okayed by my kids. Michelle is. Michelle is someone that fits the description of “taking them home to meet your parents”….Not to get all mushy, but one day when I visit my brothers and dad at Glen Abbey, I do talk to them and I do tell them what’s going on and to look after my mom and all that and it would be cool to take Michelle there to introduce my dad and brothers to her. Okay, I know a few of you are going to email me saying that’s weird, but it’s all I have. I have a medal of my dad in my safe deposit box and a couple of pictures and memories I try hard to trigger. I wish I was able to know if my dad knows about Michelle. My dad died on father’s day 1970. Crap, how did I get taking about a football play to introducing my deceased father to my fiancé?
Holy balls, I must still be on NYQUIL!

HOPEFULLY, if it's a baby coming from a bad situation, it will be a little bit better for the baby. Jeff is many things, but a bad parent (from what I can see) is not one of those things. He and Kristen will probably provide a very good home for a baby that has suffered through some horrors. I could be way off base here though. Wouldn't be the first time. I just think that a baby in their home is LOTS better than a baby in an abusive situation. NO baby deserves that.

Okay okay, I am going to catch flack for this, but I will risk it.
Of all the people on the showgram adopting a baby, I think we should all be glad it is Jeff, he seems to at least have some vauge idea of how to raise children. Perhaps he does not conduct his adult relationships in an appropriate manor, but he does seem to love his kids, and is involved in THEIR lives as opposed to FH's kids who are just caught up in his messy life.
...I do not think they are ideal parents, but it seems that they TRY, and do an okay job.

Gross! I didn't see a compliment to Amused, but I tend to skim through his drivvel. Is that how to spell drivvel?
Speaking of XXXL FH's drivvel, did you ever notice that he writes like a middle school girl? Well, not the part where he says "Holy Balls" ... but in other places, such as "blah, blah, blah, rigatonne is cut straight at the ends. Did that make sense?"
I used to teach 6th grade, and it so reminds me of the writing of those girls ... "Did that make sense? Ya know what I mean? Huh?"
Holy Balls, FH needs to grow up. (Note to FH ... I said grow up, not grow out. You are plenty wide.)

Hard to believe, that's for sure. And considering the FOOD that he shoves in his gullet, it wouldn't take much to be a good cook in his opinion.
If LBM goes to the Hotel Del, she'll see ghosts! I'm surprised with all the ash in the air, that she doesn't think it's ghosts flying around.

I hear what you are saying Boris but I am in agreement with the others. I have seen some bad bad parenting first-hand and if J and K's home is drug free and they hug their kids and love them and feed them good food at every mealtime and teach them to be good adults, then this child will be better off then others I have known.

Oh my gosh, I just watched to the bitter end. That big fat oaf thinks his entire pool needs to be drained to clean the ash. Trust me, mine was black with soot and FILLED with palm fronds and pine needles. We scooped out the debris (30 mins work). Then we filtered it for 24 hours, cleaned the filter (30 mins again), filtered it for another 12 hours with a chlorine shock and it is sparkling clean. He is an idiot.

They didn't like it when she was dating Michael Tuck (and who would) or Junior Seau (why, I don't know), so I cannot believe in a thousand years that they would like this teeny tiny trolley little Oompha Lumpia toad with passive aggressive tendencies.

As for Jeff's impending adoption, I know it's none of my business, but I guess I'm wondering why they chose adoption instead of having their own kids. I hope it's not due to any medical reasons and instead it's out of the goodness of their hearts to help a child in need while also expanding their huge family.
Additionally, someone made a comment that Krusten wouldn't give away a cosmo maker...if it was a baby shower for her, likely she wasn't the one throwing it anyway.

Isn't Jer good friends with the Busalacchi's? I see why they all get along so well. They don't put up with a lot of crapola. This whole cooking thing may have been jerk's idea. I must say, this is the best Tommytube ever since I didn't have to look at FH and LBM the entire time. Why was Laura wearing an apron? She didn't even help. FH's dad may have COOKED at the Del in the 60's. As in cooked his own leftovers. But I bet he was no CHEF. I think more believable is that his dad worked in the kitchen in the 60's. I would say he did not cook.
I used to hang out at the Del in the 60's...we had some "adopted grandparents" who never had kids who LIVED at the Del from Chicago from October til April. We were there almost every weekend, met many of the kitchen and serving staff. It would be interesting to see him try to convince me his Dad was a "chef" there. That was a very lean and lonely time for the Del.

Just heard on two different stations that there is another "mild" Santa Ana comming Fri/Sat. PRAY that it is just indeed that...
Heard that too, makes me very nervous. I'll be packing my stuff again Thurs night! Man I'm paranoid.
Just wanted to drop in and say that my thoughts are with the Texan family, Dirtyblindgurl, and Layla!
Ditto. And I hope Wonkatania shows up soon...
Additionally, someone made a comment that Krusten wouldn't give away a cosmo maker...if it was a baby shower for her, likely she wasn't the one throwing it anyway.
Good point.

Hey everyone,
I just finished the dinner dishes and thought that since I've been married 24 years and cooked A LOT of dinners, I'd share some of my gourmet cooking secrets with you all. Pull up your chairs, DC pals. Here are cooking secrets from my house to yours:
Get 8 eggs. Put some cooking spray in a frying pan and heat it up. Crack the eggs into a bowl and stir them up. Add some salt and pepper (so they don't stick to the pan). Put them in the pan and stir them around some more. Put some cheddar cheese on top. Put the cooked eggs on four plates. Try to find a Hercules plate for the biggest deal in your family. Serve with some cut up cantalope and some toast. If you have any true gourmets in the family, put some salsa in a bowl and set the bowl on the table.
I realize this doesn't beat a 7-11 meal of slim jims and soda, but my family is on a budget.
Tune in tomorrow morning for "The ReadHeads pour Kashi in a bowl."

I am watching my second-ever episode of FattyTube. First of all, snoooozzzzzze. Secondly, who on this planet doesn't know how to boil pasta and cook garlic in oil? Next week -- how to make a cup of tea and a slice of toast. `
Did you notice how Busalacchi dame (I love that word) was impatient with FH when he kept holding up that Hercules plate? Of course you didn't; I'm the only fool in town who kept the video blob on that long. She seems like a negative person. I don't like to be around people who bag on their spouse/partner all the time out of habit.
Oh, by the way, Amused ... AWESOME kitchen. You have a great eye for design and function.
SOUNDS JUST LIKE WE ARE DOING WITH OUR POOL TOO!!
DRAIN THE POOL....hahaha...you has the $ for that water bill! when you can fix it yourself ! Opps I forgot ONLY the best for

I just re-read the J&J site regarding this announcement and it's coming on Wednesday. They say 7 am so probably about 9:55.
No, probably more like 8:55. They will build up to it all morning, announce it, talk about it for a good half hour and then start the replay at 9:30.

You'd be surprised how many people are emptying their pools...do they not realize there is a serious water shortage. That water could be put to better use right now, maybe fighting fires. They just need to have the patience to clean out the filter several times if the pool is really dirty.

Not only are they wasteful, but if you totally drain a built-in pool it can pop up (technically called "float") and rip all the plumbing up with it. Before draining the soil around the pool needs tested. Foolish people!!!

OMG!! Me too!! I have another board that I've posted on for about 12 years off and on. I've made some great friends on that board and several of us exchanged emails so if and when the board crashes, we go to an offsite board to meet and catch up.
I know it sounds ridiculous but I have made some very nice friendships. And lots of contacts for my husband business wise and where he's been able to help a few friends with jobs as well.
Anyway, if anyone wants to exchange emails, I'm willing.
Still thinking about our little tex family. Hope everyone is well and sitting tight, literally.

Monday October 29, 2007 8:30pm: Driving to Michelle’s home, I had to drive by Kit Carson Park near North County Fair. If you were like me and you thought the fires were history and everyone’s back to normal and the firefighters have gone home to sleep, WELL then just take a drive on the 15 and go east on Via Rancho Parkway and then about a quarter mile down look to the left at Kit Carson Park and think again. It’s not over. Maybe they’re just keeping a close eye on things, but our firefighters are not home sleeping. THANK YOU FIREFIGHTERS!
Today, I went and purchased stuff for the 3 day for Michelle and me. I got the sleeping bags and the foam thingy and a small lantern and flashlight and chairs and everything. I might as well bring my RHINO, that's another poke at Amused!because it seems as if we’re going to the desert. I’m really excited about the 3 day more than ever.
Oddly enough, even for kind of stepping back from the big hikes and stuff to avoid injury, I am injured. This weekend when I had the flu or whatever, I was thinking I had kidney stones or something and then I realized I must be sore from doing sit ups with Eddie on Friday and Saturday and then I realized it might be how I’m getting out of my new car, because the step down is a long way for me than my F150.maybe he should get a step ladder!!! Regardless, it hurts to run and I feel it pulling when I bend a certain way. When I walk I don’t feel it at all. When I cough, I don’t feel it either. I don’t know what it is.
It’s getting late and I just wanted to say GOOD NIGHT!

It's a little 4 WD car the kids and I ride in the desert. I bought a truck and a 25' trailer to take the kids camping and it was very generous of him to buy that for us. However he ALWAYS holds it over my head and says he's going to take it back. This is after I put $5,000 into it to convert it to seat four and have my trailer retrofitted to have a more secure fastening system put into it so it doesn't roll and have the beds lifted so it will fit in, etc. A gift is a gift. Imagine what Christy went through with the car!!!

Yes, she and Tim had a wonderful time. They cruised Cabo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. She said it was 90* there and they got a lot of sun. Cabo was their favorite port.
The baby girl got 6 new teeth while they were away, took two steps and learned to say, "Uh oh" and "What's that?" Amanda was shocked!

Ok wow, what can I say? Lisa Busalacchi darling, salt is to season the pasta while it is cooking. Thank God Joe is in the kitchen and not her. :dead:
I always add a little olive oil to the pasta so it doesn't stick. If you add pesto to the garlic and olive oil and saute it, it really makes a great meal in a pinch. :)
Laura was all grossed out about the olive oil and yet it's the best oil to cook with. :spock:

Well, it's all about me time today in Losers Diary. Yes she's fat, we know, she knows it, the world knows it. Stop complaining you "drug-addicted, booze chugging, I wish I were Britney poor excuse for a mother!" And then she says that she has to take a new mask to Chimp Boy at school - why? Because they have a policy against blood and gore. Makes sense. She probably also sent him with a load of fake guns and knives. Quality mom! She claims he never told her, but the truth is, she never asked, probably never read the notes home, and is utterly (note cow implication) clueless. And regardless, who sends a 7 year-old to school with a bloody mask? What happened to innocence? Destroyed by their rated-R horror film viewings, I assume. FYI Laura – he’s your young son, not your best friend; not a replacement for all the friendships you’ve shattered! There are tons of respectable, innocent costumes for young kids! Save the blood and gore for the later years.:stupid:

Sorry...for those of you that can't or won't access the diaries....here's Laura's
Dear Diary,
I'm kinda proud of myself this morning. I actually got my lazy butt off the couch and went to an 8:15pm sweaty yoga class last night. I got home at 10:00pm completely drenched. That's way late for me these days. I figure that if I do this Bikram Yoga thing three times a week, I might just be able to burn off some of this fat that accumulated around my waist and on my thighs. I never used to have cottage cheese. I have a little bit on my legs now and it's heinous! I'm blaming it all on Hazeldon. We ate so much at that place. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were the only times of the day us rehabbers looked forward to. I ate my way through that cafeteria on many a day. I'm pretty sure that if you would've put your ears up to my thighs during that 28-day period, you could've heard the sound of them expanding. I grew out of my jeans FAST. I hoping to get back into my 7's someday soon. When I got home from rehab, I could only get those things up to just above my knee. How sad is that? Now I can get them up the thigh, most of the way, but the butt region is going to be a huge challenge.
I'm so excited it's Tuesday because I get to pick-up my sweet babies from school. I love the moment Charlie sees my car pulling into the drive-thru. He jumps up and down and tries to make me laugh. I equally love the moment that Evan sees me through the playground fence. She immediately sprints for the exit yelling…"Momma!" The moments that follow are great, too.
We are going to meet Carrie and Katie-Jean at the pumpkin patch on a dairy farm this afternoon. We used to take the kids there every single year. They'd wear their little costumes and we'd get some classic pictures, the kind of photos you frame and hang! Because of circumstances out of our control, we've missed the last three years, so I'm super happy that we're finally getting together again.
I also have to get Charlie a different mask for school tomorrow. He tells me AFTER we buy the bloody mask, that his school has a no blood and gore rule. I'm about done with this whole costume thing this year.
See you tomorrow, Diary.

"Hey, Zelda. Look who's in the principal's office waiting for his Mom to bring him a new costume and mask....yeah, guess the BIG DEAL LBM was too much of a big deal to read the weekly notes from the teacher regarding appropriate costumes for school."
"Well, for crying out loud, Sister Louisa! Have a little pity for the woman. She probably had a bella derma peel and a massage scheduled, and she has to get an early start on that Outfit of the Week for herself. She can't be expected to keep up with school notes and trivial stuff like that!"
:stupid:
"I'm so excited it's Tuesday because I get to pick-up my sweet babies from school. I love the moment Charlie sees my car pulling into the drive-thru. He jumps up and down and tries to make me laugh. I equally love the moment that Evan sees me through the playground fence. She immediately sprints for the exit yelling…"Momma!" The moments that follow are great, too."
Oh, great. neither of the kids have any self-control, either. How long before one of them sprints out in front of a moving car?

The baby girl got 6 new teeth while they were away, took two steps and learned to say, "Uh oh" and "What's that?" Amanda was shocked!
They grow up so fast! The little peeps will be busy carving pumpkins today. That's always such a mess. I need to find some of those little pumpkin knives so they don't cut their fingers off. They're having a pumpkin party here with their friends after school. I'd better go to the store and buy some FOOD for them.
I have a 15 month old son and a 11 month old niece and it is truly freaky how their teeth pop up all of a sudden or one day just start walking. They take these huge milestones in a second and yes, I'm afraid if I blink my eyes will open up to my son's high school graduation and I'll be wondering how the time went so fast.
Meanwhile, LBM said it was okay to let my toddler use a carving knife to do the pumpkins, are you saying there is something wrong with that? There is nothing like blood to season pumpkin seeds. Roasted pumpkin seeds...now that's some good FOOD. Oh Gawd, LBM is calling wanting to know how to turn on the oven. Wait, what? Yes, LBM you should wash the seeds off before you put them in the oven. No, you can't just throw them in there. Put them on a cookie sheet. Good lord, no wonder you don't have any friends.

Oooh! a picture you can frame and hang on the WALL!! Now that is classic!
And what the heck does she mean about missing the LAST THREE YEARS?!?!? Circumstances out of OUR control?!?!? It was totally in YOUR control LBM. And you made your choice.

I am sure if she paid any attention whatsoever to her kids and their schooling she would know the rules!! They are after all - common sense. I have heard for years about schools not wanted kids to wear masks, wonder wear LDM has been? hummm... maybe she was eating some food. We all know she doesn't cook food and probably when she was cokin' it up she wasn't eating much food either. but of course now we can all tell how much food she has been eating. And obviously not healthy food.
how's that for the use of the word of the day??

I am J&J free! For the most part. I started listening to AJ's playhouse on 93.3. The music is not my style and I feel like I'm learning another language, but they are funny and fresh and they run a TIGHT show. No 30 minute teasing, no inane laughter. I love it. Now I just need to get myself weaned off of tuning to J&J during the commercials and the songs.

Okay, so Jeff has gotten Kristen a real doll. Should we speculate on the name that this Big Deal will name his new child?
Jeffette, Jeffrina? Jeff Jr., Jefften or Kristeff(a combo of Jeff and Kristen) ?
It just seems to me that he does everything really fast without thinking longterm, hence he's on his third family. Afterall, he got all the off-road desert equip earlier this year with full lessons and all. Is that going to be a passing fancy?

Oh, and I mentioned this a long time ago, but it totally infuriated our NewReader or was it Dilbert, and you know how sensitive I am to criticism..:dead:
...but I listen to 92.5 most of the time, Kristy & Jagger are ok, but I like the music. I've had that station programmed in since the 70's when it was "Ninety-Two STAR five" and was hyping Target Records ("Where you get a BULLS-EYE of a RECORD BUY!!!" <--now defunct record store that totally rocked in days of R&B, disco and soul, baby!)

I was thinking the SAME thing - nothing is ever their fault - it's always some sort of glitch that happens.
Hey Laura - your life has been spiraling out of control for at least a year (you state it as three) - it's about time that you grew up, took some responsibility for your actions, and put your life back together (single life, that is). Quit hanging around Toady because he has his own set of problems (being a world-class liar is just the tip of the iceberg that the Titanic is going to hit anytime soon).

Very good question...I haven't had any contact with Carrie (albeit indirect through a friend) for years and couldn't say. PLUS I am only throwing out the possibility that was the reason for them missing Pumpkin Time. I don't know anything specific.

My all around favorite show is the DSC (Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw), except when they go too long with a Bromo bit. I liked a lot of Stern and then when he left the local airwaves I enjoyed Corolla after Bonaduce joined his show.
About 2-3 years ago I realized that the spewgram was getting really boring and repetitive. Waaay too many commercial breaks (DSC hardly has any) and they are always replaying bits over on the SAME day, usually in the 9:00 hour. After Corolla disappeared I discovered The Mikey Show and it’s not too bad. I’ve heard AJs Playhouse is good but most times that I surf over they are in a commercial or playing music so I can’t say I know the show. I’ve heard a little of Monique but again, seems like they play more music than I care for.

I love how Jagger is sometimes idiotic (don't know if it is for the show or just him but he does go along with it and take jabs at himself) and Kristi is the smart, centered one. But they are sharp and seem like good people. They are still together and still on in San Diego....good for them!

Okay,
try this new station -- K-WTF. It's on am 1940 and is political talk-radio site that examines things that are perplexing.
Also, there is a station that examines political discourse...although I believe it Republican in nature and critical of Hilary Clinton....I forget the call letters but they are short for K-Universal-News-Television.
There are a few more...
K-BLO - this is a local station whereby two, middle-aged dj's talk a bit and play thousands of commercials.
K-BLW -- this is similar station with similar middle-aged dj's talking to a female co-host addicted to Chrystal Meth.
K-NRD -- again.....2 guys...middle-aged....co-hosted by a live-guy-who-lived-at-home-with-mom-and-dad-till-I-was-48.
K-FAT.....2 guys..blah...blah...blah......produced by a short, anatomically reduced, pathological liar, with wayward kids and a growing gut.
K-JRK....squint-eyed, middle-aged-guy, with unusual life-style (including freaky looking spouse and a sh*t-load of cats, copies David Letterman's "Top-Ten" lists by hunting similar materials from internet and passing it off as his own.)
K-DAD......fat/thin/fat/thin, married/divorced/married/divorced/married, 50-something guy, preaches throughout the morning on ways to stabilize your life.
K-SLM....former wife of K-FAT producer, writes scathing, accurate protrayals of K-FAT's proclivity to lie, cheat, lie and eat.
K-ZRO....former alcoholic-now weight-gaining, cottage-cheese-producing-hag, reads internet copy of worse-than-worthless news about other, worse-than-worthless creatures residing in Hollywood....while forgetting how to be a normal mom.
K-CRP.....stupid listeners bore the sh*t out of other listeners by calling a stupid "dirt-line" and pretending they are important because they won the "hey-guess-who-I-ran-into-by-sheer-luck-lottery!"
And, of course
K-FCK.....this station is a 20-year experiment whereby 4 or 5 innocent normal people, completely destroy the lives of others as they get richer and more famous in a "big-town-that-is-actuall-a-small-town." The premise is, they will marry and divorce as many people as possible in 20 years. The stars can use any means necessary: infidelity, drugs, weight-gain, agorophobia-while-I-play-canasta-in-my-underwear, too-hip-too-stay-with-wife-#1-so-I-should-hit-on-the-radio-programmer, wife-left-me-for-Padre-employee, how-could-he-dump-me-after-9-years-when-I've-dedicated-180-days-to-rehab?
And of course, part II.:
KSMRT.......130+ people come to their senses and realize the aforementioned shows are only valuable if one listens to mock -- not to be entertained.

Two things - we haven't heard from FH Tub-o-lard since Monday night - jeez, I hope he's okay! Maybe he got sick on Lisa's pasta  His tummy isn't used to food that's homecooked.
Secondly - what do we think Jeff and Krusten are going to name their new baby? I go with something biblical, like Mary or Esther.

I'd be number 3418 if we went by our first post. I'm glad that brainsmile appeared, after all these pages. Enjoy your #1 status.
A number is just a number, unless it is a number that is mathematically numbered. My brain is numb from thinking about numbers tonight. The number I think, the number my brain. How is that for FOOD for thought.
I just made 2 dozen cupcakes (funfetti style) for the fall carnival at my kidlets school tomorrow. The Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin show just ended, Halloween must be near.
On another tangent (mathematically speaking)...I did listen to the Rick & Jen show this evening on the drive home. They were inviting everyone to the Qualcomm stadium Friday all day (6 am to 7 pm) to donate cash/checks to the ARC (American Red Cross) for Fire Victims. I didn't see anyone mention it from the J&J schlowgram. But it sounds like they are hyping the collection on Rick and Jen, but I didn't hear anything from the J&J.

I just could never get into DSC. I can't stand Shelly's incessant, braying laughter. I love listening to different books on tape/CD. I love to read but have very little time and the library has tons of books on tape. It really makes the long drive through traffic go by quickly and enjoyably.

J&J did mention it this morning, but it was in a more "we are all just normal folks together so we're just asking you each to drive by with $5....no big name contribution, just each of us normal people giving $5...." way. They did say that it was a Clear Channel event with all the stations (7?) participating all day long.
They made a crack about the country station and I thought Delana was going to bop them over the head! I think that was the only time I laughed while listening this morning during my whole commute...

All of the San Diego clearchannel stations are going to be at the stadium on Friday beginning at 6am. I was switching back and forth between stations and when the Mikey show announced it, they said it would be a drive-through donation, but after donating you can park your car and walk through and see "your favorite" DJ's throughout the stadium. I heard the same thing on DSC. Then when J and J announced this, J**k said, you can drive through, give your donation, and drive out to school work, etc. In other words he doesn't want to interact with their "11 listeners", ha. That was so lame!

He is slowly warming up to getting out of the 3day altogether which will then be followed by a huge contribution by him that he'll flaunt all over the airwaves and his blobs. Now, he just has to find a way to get out of actually giving but still take the credit for it. We all know him so well!

Oh wait a minute here, my DC pals -- back up a bit for the new Dilbutt. I don't listen to the train wreck any more, so I am behind on this announcement. I'm going with Oholiab...or Ahisamach..or Enosh, Kenan, or Mahalelel...if a boy...
If a girl Orpah, Naomi, Ruth, Zilpah, or Leah. Of course, Mahalath and Nebaioith are also good biblical names.
Nothing says family #3 like names from the Bible!!!!
Wow! I want to know Jeff's God - the God of "It's okay if you screw up, over and over,.... just as long as you continue to play the role of my follower."
Why bother doing the right thing, when you can do the "selfish" thing and gain redemption in the same effort?
To think, people find Christians hypocritical....imagine?!?!?!

Tommy has been MIA since Monday night because he is thinking up his catastrophic event that will keep him from participating in the 3-day. He's just laying the ground work. It probably pisses him off to no end that the fire couldn't be his exit plan, and that it wasn't cancelled. Ironically, the people who are walking for real reasons are probably thrilled beyond belief that the walk is still going to happen. THEY will be walking with even more victorious survivor stories, while FH either sits on his couch because he is "injured" or bitches about sleeping in a tent.
Edited because I can't spell. BTW, I missed you guys! I've been really tired and busy and just haven't had time to check in the past few days. I hope everyone is ok.

From the FAQ section of the AngelsFoster.com website:
Does the County provide medical coverage?
In addition to the monthly stipend you will receive, every child receives Medi-Cal coverage
With all the money that Jethro pulls in, I sure hope they *DO NOT* take this monthly stipend from this organization!!!

Or at the very least, takes the monthly stipend and re-donates it back to this Angels organization!
Had a friend who does this type of fostering and he would take the monthly $ and put it into a savings account. When they would return the baby they would also send the account info to the social worker. Had the account set up that no one could touch the money without his signature. This worked most of the time (except when a druggy parent received the child back)

My family and I are doing great although it was a little touch and go for a little while but we are all doing great.
And no, I did not lose 20 pounds in past two days, nor did I get my kids gory costumes for school today, I did not adopt a puppy nor a cat, nor did I get divorced and marry a childbride, and no, I did not adopt a child in the past few weeks. Although, the latter would probably be a good idea in our future.
I do, however, sincerely hope all of you and your loved ones are doing well and faired well through the firestorms.

hear hear! my best friend is with San Diego Police, Monday morning he just got home at 4:30 am, received the reverse 911 call and then a call from his command to come back to work. SDPD worked 12- 18 hour shifts with all days off and vacation days cancelled. (no comparison to the fire fighters though!) the only thing he took from his house was his puppy which he dropped off with me. My friend came over to sleep and then right back to work. All the first responders deserve a big hand of applause, and a big hug of gratitude! These guys and gals really shine thru when we need them!

Dear Diary,
Dave and I are taking the kids out trick-or-treating…together. I'm going to be on my best behavior and suck in all the bad feelings these have to be DC's bad feelings...she has nothing but apologies to make to him!!!and focus on the babies. I'm feeling pretty good about it. I am just so excited that I get to hang with my kids on a Wednesday, which is not normally "my day." I am all set with my costume, too. I'm going to be a witch, and probably the only adult on the block who'll be dressing up. I got Ev her broom and a black long-sleeved shirt to go under her witch dress , so she's all set. Charlie has a new mask, so he's all set. His blood mask sprung a leak.
I bought a couple of bags of candy so I think we're all ready to go! I LOVE Halloween so much! A lot of my best childhood memories are from Halloween night.
Yesterday, the kids and I met Carrie and Katie Jean in the Target parking lot so we could carpool out to the VanOomering Dairy Farm/Pumpkin Patch in Lakeside. The funniest part of the whole afternoon was watching Evan hold her nose the entire time did she learn that from LBM when she'd finish a line?because she couldn't stand the smell of the farm. She hated it. Carrie said, "She's not a farm girl, is she?"
I said, "She may not be my child, either, because I love that farm smell!"
The hay ride was a really cool experience, we rode past hundreds of dairy cows and silos and farm land, right here in San Diego County. We even saw a brand new calf struggling to stand up. I bet the kids that live on that farm are having a BLAST of a childhood. The people who run the pumpkin patch made a giant hill made out of cotton seed…COTTON SEED…for the kids to slide down on those plastic discs. They were covered in fuzzy stuff, but they had so much fun.
After the pumpkin patch (where Evan peed her pants because she couldn't find me or a bathroom for two minutes)Why was this kid so far away from LBM's eye/earshot? Another bad example of letting her kids roam free without supervision Carrie drove us up the hill to visit Katie Jean's puppy. Okay, I am in love! I almost bought the little brother of the litter. It was precious watching Charlie and Evan holding that little guy. I want a puppy so bad now. I'm wondering how Tommy would feel about having a baby dog in the house. Qahem...(can't help this one...FH ALREADY HAS TWO DOGS IN THE HOUSE!
I always feel enriched after spending time with Carrie. She makes everything seem okay, somehow.
Gotta go now because I'm already late for my volunteer tour of duty at Evan's school. I am going to man one of the trick or treat stations. Must not sneak candy. or nose candy! Must not sneak candy.
See you tomorrow, Diary.

So glad that you and yours are all ok.
Mitzi, when you have a chance, will you let us know who we have yet to hear from? I know it's going to be nuts trying to figure it out...lol.
So LBM wants a BABY dog? She has proven time and again that she cannot keep an eye on the 2 babies she already has...the 2 legged variety. What exactly is she hoping to accomplish by getting a puppy? If it's for selfish reasons (if?? LOL) then it's the wrong reason. It's not about YOU Laura. It's about the PUPPY and frankly, you are too scattered and unsettled right now (right now??) to even consider taking the responsibility of another living creature. Get a plant. Get a fish. Better yet, start with a fly swatter and see how you do.

My brother is a Fire Captain, he worked a week straight, finally got released on Saturday night. He was back at the station, Tuesday morning, and doesn't come home until Friday. These guys are true heros.
Any who, they like when people bring them stuff to the stations. Cakes, cookies, food in general. BlondMom, if you get a gift certificate - maybe a Honey Baked Ham one would be good, or any type of restaurant that they could pick up a meal.

If LBM gets a pup, I want to be the first one to lay down a bet that within six months she will re-home it. Heck, I don't even think it would last 3 months! She's not doing well at being a Mom to two walking, talking humans ~ what would she do with a teething, peeing, barking, scratching, chewing ball of fur???

Dear Diary,
Dave and I are taking the kids out trick-or-treating…together.
Too funny, transplant. Love the nose candy line!

so he's dragging it on and on....talking about an organization they found in SD and all the statistics....but they haven't said the official news that they're going to be foster parents
Here's the link to the fostering program....
http://angelsfoster.com/
UPDATE: No baby fostering yet. They've completed all the classes and now they could get a call at any time to come "pick up" a baby needing fostering
Let me take a minute to clean all of the puke up from my lap. They are not looking to adopt a baby. It's one of two things. Either Jeff is looking for a future wife and wants to get paid for it; or they are looking for a free servant/maid to comb Jeff's toupees and apply his morning make-up, clean the southern jam from Krusten's toes, organize her look-alike troll dolls, pick up Leroy's deposits, etc.

I don't think so. I heard that one of those enormous inflatable pumpkins at a local patch was damaged by the fires and Tummy kindly volunteered to stand in... What a giving tub-o-lard.

Wednesday October 31, 2007 1:30pm: Hi, remember me? I must not be feeling well if it's taken me this long to catch up and say hello. It's Halloween! I was dead on Sunday and came back to life on Monday and then back on my death bed yesterday and I just woke up and stood up and finally FEEL GOOD.
I'm starting to panic about the 3 Day. Panic like in a good way though.
WE are going to have a fundraiser and sign up for the BUDDIES FOR LIFE TEAM this Sunday at Grossmont Center. I'll tell you more about that later.
*****Thursday I'm with the kids and doing some stuff with them.
******Friday is the big relief effort at the stadium all day long!
******Saturday is the Saks thing in the morning.
******Sunday is Grossmont Center to raise money for the 3 Day
THEN it's the week I've been waiting for since last November 10th! Last year at this time the words "WALK" and "HIKE" may not of been said out of my mouth at all. It wasn't even a thought!
Last year at this time, I didn't care about what I ate or noticed how I was looking or even cared. It wasn't that I wanted to be that way, it was that I just didn't STOP and finally say "okay, lets change up a few things".....
Last year at this time all I did was work, work, work, eat, watch TV, work, eat, and see the kids and check on my mom.
The morning of November 10th 2006, Jeff called me on my cell phone while I was hungover at work around 5:45am and told me to go down to the fairgrounds and do some reports from the 3 Day. I remember getting in my car and driving to the fairground parking lot and seeing people getting out of their cars with sleeping bags and water bottles and a sense of pride in their walk. They were all heading towards a fenced in area of the fairgrounds where thousands of people mostly women were GETTING READY to walk their first 20 miles. They were gathered to hear an opening speech that would inspire them for the rest of the weekend.
I remember interviewing people on how they felt that morning and they all knew the TRUE REASON to why they were there. They all knew that working out the entire year came 2nd to the support and to the memory and to the cause of the millions and millions of women who are going through or who went through breast cancer.
I walked the first 10 miles just doing reports. I had on jeans and no water. People looked at me like I was out of place or a "wierdo" because I wasn't dressed to walk and I had a cell phone. I walked the first 2 miles okay, then after that, I tried to relive my childhood years and walk on just the memory of how I USED TO BE, but that didn't work. I was hurting really bad and then we came to place that I never even been before, we came upon the HILL that is called TORREY PINES. I saw Barbara Lee Edwards walking it too. She was in shape and I was not. On the air, Jeff and Jer made fun of Little Tommy "ME" dying as I was trying to walk the hill. I did make it to the top, but I was dead.
I told myself at 10am that day and on the air to Jeff and Jer that I will do what I needed to do to come back next year to do the walk FOR REALS.
Well, it's November 1st tomorrow ONE YEAR LATER and the fact that I can do that walk now and the fact that I can walk Torrey Pines in my sleep now and the fact that I say the word WALK and HIKE and BOTTLED WATER everyday of my life and maybe every hour. Last year, in my car there was always a bag of fast food in the front seat. THIS YEAR, there's a bag of shorts, walking shoes, and bottled water all the time in my back seat.
I may still be a DOUBLE X kind of guy and I went up and down in my weight all year long, but one thing for sure is that my life has changed so much from November 10th 2006.
So, if you are someone that hasn't walked or hiked or drank a bottle of water in a few years and you kind of know you need to do something about it, then take it from me: YOU CAN DO IT! You really can.
In one years time, I have met so many great people from walking and hiking that I cannot even think of words to describe how I feel about them. One of those people I met is sitting right behind me and will be my wife in a few days.
One year ago, I never even knew what the word BLOG was and today THIS BLOG is so important to me that I am starting to cry thinking about it.
I sit here talking to you and have tears in my eyes and I am proud of this last year!
Here's to YOU!

Here's to the millions of people who are mostly women who got us all here in the first place!

:wavey: Ok comments on Tommy's blog...
first of all why is jeff and jer telling tommy what to do? Isn't Tommy the producer and shouldn't he be telling them what to do?
Secondly, I find it hard to believe that he walked 10 miles with people...I guess Mathmatically speaking he did but really I doubt he went 1/2 a mile...
Third of all who elected him to be the motivational speaker for San Diego?
Fourth of all why would his blog make him so emotional he would cry, are you kidding me? Its a diary its not a person...
And just a prediction....his next blog will say he is kidding about the wife comment....at least I hope that is what happens...it would be very unlike tubby to not gush about the marriage a million times in his blog before he does it.... :wavey:

It's all falling into place, as a sly snicker escapes from Madam Moocher's chapped lips. First she has conquered the human nacho plate himself, one Tummy the Tub Sablan. Now, she will focus on overthrowing the world as her psychotic rendition of The Secret comes to fruition. Ha-ha, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!
When the cameras of Tummy Tube go black, the Mooch puts Laura back into her cage under the stairs and drops a in tantalizing little bribe of freshly brewed meth through the rusted slats. Laura rolls over in glee. Then, she locks the kids in the garage and makes them finish their chore of forging autographed copies of OJ's biography, for sale on eBay. Finally, she kisses Tummy and then slaps him across the face in a moment of schizophrenic angst; and puts the heavy chain back around his trunk-like neck. Sheets of flesh engulf the cold metal. She connects the other end of the leash to the refrigerator, a clever move, which ensures that her chubby pup will not wander far. Mooch puts her feet on “her” new coffee table, looks around “her” newly conquered home, flips on the “her” HDTV, and smiles widely. "Who needs three-day walks?" she thinks. "I've got a palace full of boobs."
Happy Halloween...

Hi to everybody. My wife requested pajamas with no gaping holes in the back of them and I wanted to take a moment to check in with all of you while here at our house since you all have been so kind to her, and our family entirely. She really is a trooper and is fighting tooth and nail for our baby. Most of the time she is barely concious, but I am going to bring our laptop to the hospital and read all of your recent comments to her in hopes to elicit a smile or laugh. Eleanor's lungs are developing thanks to a steady steroid drip, but my beautiful wife is paying the price for it. Please continue to keep her in your prayers, as she is the glue that holds our lives together and has a true heart of gold.

I just saw the danger boy randy eating cinnamon. What the h*ll was that about. Plus showing him puke all over the place was ridiculous and low budget. Read LBM whiny trick or treat with DC letter. It's her own damn fault the situation is the way it is. DC must have to really bite his lip to be with her anymore. She is a pathetic mess. That stoopid laugh is nauseating too. The tummy tube cooking show make me wish danger boy was there to pour cinnamon over whatever they created and then throw up there.

OKODM, we must have been separated at birth.
I wish the ghost of the future would show her the teary goodbye she will give the puppy (young, barely adoptable adult by then) because "it just didn't work out--because <insert predictable reason>."
Reading about her new focus on a puppy makes me feel weak with shallow breathing. In addition to what you mention, I picture the poor puppy being defenseless and assaulted by her children--she appears not have any control of them at all. Either a child will get hurt or the puppy will. I'm about to start rocking in a corner.
Better yet, start with a fly swatter and see how you do. Hilarious, and so true.

Best,
--"DaddyTex"--
Hi Daddy Tex...I've been wondering and wondering...and praying constantly. It's so nice to "hear" from you. It sounds as if this journey isn't quite over and that tough days are still the norm. Thank goodness for steroid drips, and daddy's that love enough for 2 while Mommy is not feeling well. When your sweet wife, our beloved SurfingTexan awakes, give her a gentle kiss on the forehead from us. Let her know to go ahead and take her time waking up...like I told Eleanor a few days ago, we'll wait.
Hiya "Mommy Tex"!! We miss you...we're thinking about you constantly. You're missing lots of fun stuff, but I think the stuff you're doing is a lot more real and fun! Just close your eyes and let Eleanor cook as Daddy Tex takes care of all of you. One day, when Eleanor is all grown up, she will realize how much you have given. You are the definition of mother. Be well.

I had to share this story because it reminded me of something Laura would do....so Im driving home from work and thank god I am such an observant driver because I see a family who is wearing ALL BLACK in the middle of a semi-busy intersection. There are three young kids I would say all under the age of 5 and they are just roaming the middle of the street, the parents paying no care in the world to them....luckily I stopped and let them cross but it reminded me of something Laura would do....
I mean if you have kids that young you should NEVER let them cross a street without holding an adults hand...ugh they are so lucky the kids didn't get hit....
Surfin Tex hope you get better soon...stay strong we are all thinking of you...thanks for the update daddy tex.

Hey! That should be tomorrow's words......Just kidding!
Have we had it yet?
It is Halloween, not April Fools Day.
On behalf of his children, FH is just a total weirdo. I would be freaked if I were his kids and reading his blogs. Do they read them? What a thing to joke about. Yuck.
Crazy thing is, I would imagine this to be some kind of strange way to try to hurt Amused. She broke up; he's getting married? Oh FH, those perceived "victories" are only short lived. You know what you'll end up with? A wife. The shine will wear off. In fact, I think it probably already has.

I was daydreaming during my commute home today (it was a longer commute than usual- over an hour today!), and a funny thought crossed my mind. Wouldn't it be funny if one of us could offer to teach FH and LBM a skill to share on a future Tummy Tube episode? I can just picture it now, as I am showing them both how to arrange flowers (this is not a skill that I have- this is just an example of a skill they might be interested in learning), I turn to the camera and say "You are both doing such a great job with your flowers - JUST KIDDING FH and LBM!" or "This is a great arrangement FH - IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN." Better yet, I could say "Moochie will just love this FH because you're such a BIG DEAL!". Just thinking of this scenario brought a big smile to my face and made my drive home a lot more tolerable.
What do you think? What skill might you volunteer to teach them on Tummy Tube? What "code word or phrase" would you use? Have fun!

Bec, that is friggin' hilarious!!! I can't think of anything better than what you suggested. I'm exhausted from all the Halloween festivities, but you totally made me chuckle!

Tex Family -
You are also in my thoughts. A little over five years ago, I was with my best friend while she was receiving steroids to help her son develop enough to be born. Weighing 2 lbs. 3 oz., born he was. Tonite, I got to go along with his mom and some friends while he Trick-Or-Treated. I wish the same future for Eleanor.
Hang in there Tex Family, you have many people pulling for you.

BecInCA - that is hilarious! Let's see....I think I will teach them ballroom dancing (I've never done it). Even though LBM *thinks* she knows how. "And a One, Two, Three....so to speak."

I would love to watch Wonk teaching them his tricks. He could even show FH and LBM some samples of his work on this board, "if you know what I mean..."

A big virtual hug to the whole Tex family - you are all in my thoughts and prayers daily!
I'm too tired from the whole Halloween thing tonight to try to figure out something I could teach XXXL and LBM - but I'm enjoying reading what you guys come up with!
Happy Halloween, all!

One of those people I met is sitting right behind me and will be my wife in a few days.
Maybe orginally it said a few months or something and she turned around briefly and he changed it before she could see....I guarantee he will say its a joke....maybe amused knows something about this supposed wedding that will be taking place in a few weeks
maybe "in a few days" means "when the kids are ready" in Guamanian.

Last year, in my car there was always a bag of fast food in the front seat. THIS YEAR, there's a bag of shorts, walking shoes, and bottled water all the time in my back seat.
There's still always a bag of food on the front seat... that is if it is in his possession long enough. He probably scarfs that crap down in no time flat. Do you think he even chews? Well, at least the fast food is not next to the walking shoes.

Hope ya'll had a great and safe Halloween. It was busy at our house and my hubby had to go out and buy more "loot" and by that I don't mean sratchers, Slim Jims and foiled-covered, booze-filled chocolates.
Wishing some comfort and good cheer to Surfing Tex and thanks to her husband for checking in. Glad Wonk is back and I swear I had you pegged for a lady....sorry, Wonk.
Have a good day everyone!
