Great math work Transplant..
Goodness, assuming one twinkie is about .50 cents, that would be $691,200. FH could easily afford that!

1) Will Tommy start on day 1? Yes
2) Will he sleep out in the tent? No. He will be busy stalking BLE to be his tent buddy.
3) Will he be injured (bonus: when and how?)Yes, Saturday morning he will be vicously kicked in the skins by Christy the car wash girl.
4) Will he finish? No, he will mysteriously disappear from the 3-day crowd and mysteriously reappear on his couch stuffing his face with a carne asada burrito from Roberto's.

Okay, mathematically speaking....
1 mile = 63,360 inches
1 twinkie = 2-3/4 inches
1 3 Day = 60 miles
60 miles of twinkies = 1,382,400 twinkies!!!!!
Brilliant! and LOL!

Hey, LBM was cut-off by Jeff while trying to do a bit. She was going to have everyone in the Spewgram play a game "The Name Game."
She began and Jeff cut it when it was his turn and went to commercials. He immediately identified it as a bit that sucked.
It was somewhat uncomfortable to listen to that happen.
However, I have noticed that Jeff gets more and more irrated by her. Has anyone else noticed this?

Does this mean Laura has been arrested more than once? I had in my foggy brain that she got arrested for Drunk Driving. Now if she was also taken away for thrashing her man, is that a second arrest, or maybe DC didn't press charges?
If your recollection is correct, she only needs one more for the 3rd strike and it's 25 to life.

You said it BecInCA!
Today's show was really gruesome, they even had Father Joe call call in to give his "opinion" on the Van Halen/Old Globe crapola!
Enough already!
As always, I am behind on reading and just getting to catch up.
I can't believe Father Joe spoke to the Spewgram! I was married by Father Joe (family friend) in a Catholic church, how can he go against his religion and sin so badly to be associated with this group. Ugh... Next time I see FJ I am going to have to speak to him about the people he hangs out with! I am sure he will get a laugh out of my scolding.:yell:

Anyone who knows anything about NA/AA, and any other kind of addiction recovery, also knows that it takes many months of being clean and sober to begin unscrambling the brain from the damage done...it's possible that Laura has not fallen off the wagon but still displays characteristics of being high/drunk from time to time...I'm not defending her by any means...
I saw a couple of things in her diary that point to clues that she's still not getting it :
1)
I'll pack the fridge with yummy things, too, because he deserves to eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING he wants when he gets home from 60 miles on foot!
Rewarding someone with all the things known to be bad for them is not caring about them or loving them...the word enabler springs to mind
2).
I'm thinking about Kensington or Hillcrest or Mission Valley.
Old playgrounds are supposed to be avoided whenever possible

I took my daughter to the Hannah Montana concert tonight and, as we came up the ramp, I immediately saw Moochelle standing there. She made eye contact with me and smiled at me and I smiled back. I looked next to her and there he was....Tummy...he was wearing his navy blue shirt and navy blue shorts...the same thing he was wearing the other day at his mall appearance. The worst part of the whole thing was I totally felt (and saw) him checking me out...yuck, I felt violated really...especially in front of Moochelle!! What a pig. I honestly do not see how she could be attracted to him even if it is for his money because he gave me the creeps.
I am sure he rigged some floor seats from the Jonas Brothers today when they came in the studio!
Ew - I'll be that gave you the creeps. I just love how they all went to the concert when every other parent in the county had to jump through hoops to get those tickets. I'm sure they had great fllor seats and FH, Moochelle, the kids and all their friends got to go for free. Didn't stupid Jeff bring his brood as well?

Everyone is fictional here until they're not. Whether or not we believe someone is based on our power of observation and the ability to read between the lines. We all have the right to believe or not believe any post here. Amused said she didn't care one way or another if people believe her words. I, for one think she's the real deal. it is amazing the information that kids get just from being around. I am sure the FH is not too careful about what he says aroung his kids and those kids go home and more than likely talk to their mother. I love how newbies (and I am fairly new myself) come on here and start throwing around accusations. nobody here is forcing anyone to believe anything, if somebody doesn't want to believe something they don't have to. Stop trying to throw DC members under the bus - this board is about the J&J showgram and all the gossip people have, find out or in some cases make up (we all have lots of theories that we have shared). I think being skeptical is a good thing. That said, I believe Amused is who she says she is. I have seen pics from her and often she has said things to us that Tommy has had to back peddle on....seeing as he doesn't know the truth if it him in the head.
I believe she has spent years dealing with his B.S. and joined this board a few months after Tommy started writing his daily, err make that "way too many times-a-day," blogs. It was a way for her to refute the crap he spews and if I recall, at first she was restrained. Then she got mad. But I would do the same if I were in her place in order to maintain my rep.

if laura is reading this website, i hope that she would take some guidance from people not associated with tommy or his bride to be.
be a real parent, get a real home, try to be nice to your husband, maybe cook a real meal...and bring it to them, get some furniture...stop going to hotels. if you truly cannot cook a healthy meal...go to one of those kitchens, like Ingredientz..just make an effort!
do not post pictures of your beautiful children on a website, do not show them in a video production while laying on your (or tommys) bed
volunteer at their school (find the time) or do something helpful for their school that does not involve the radio or tommytube production
i think if you made a real effort, and got yourself out of bizarre living arrangement...with time and consistency, your husband MAY consider being civil to you
stop posting your marital issues in a public forum, i am sure he hates that...and i don't think it would look good to any judge.
please laura, these are your children. you may have a 1% chance of somehow putting your family back together. take that 1% chance and fight for your family. your children deserve to be fought for, get over yourself and your "addictions" stop whining about that.
Go find a nice place to live TODAY! Step One.

4) Will he finish?
He won't want to, but unless he keels over he can't NOT finish

What's even more disturbing is, knowing how much FH has gotten around (even behind Amused's back while they were married)...poor DC co-mingled with FH's conquests when DC and LBM made whoopee...
and poor DC didn't even suspect she was out rolling in the flour (or coke...take your pick) with FH and god knows who else!
Amused is who she says she is - I've wanted to come to her defense (although she doesn't need me to) many times. I've known her, FH and their kids for 7 + years. Sometimes people get to the point where they can't stand it anymore. Amused gets to that point with FH often - she hasn't (and I'm sure she won't) revealed 1/10 of the kind of sh-t that she's had to deal with with FH. I saw a lot of it first hand and heard many, many stories about the whole group!
Beleive what you want - she's the real deal!
Wabbitsd

I think also, Amused has been around that group at the station, and met folks that she probably formed separate friendships with--so she still hears the gossip. She also has the kids, former friends from when FH and she were a couple, former neighbors, etc. etc.
I can take what she says as truth--it's not something that changes the course of my personal life, but that's fine. and I understand her motivation. Not a big stretch.

I think the only thing they have allowed her to admit to on air is the drinking, you know that is much more acceptable than drugs for most people. If your recollection is correct, she only needs one more for the 3rd strike and it's 25 to life.
The 3rd strike laws apply to felony charges under California penal codes.
DUI is a midemeanor unless serious injury or death occur, and it's a vehicle code violation.
You aren't really "arrested" if you try to kill yourself, you're put on a psych hold under Health and Social Services codes.
I'm going to hazard a guess, that Laura's terms of discharge from rehab were to include not being alone, which is probably why Flubby stepped up and offered her a place to stay.

HIPAA covers some personal information, not general information. Even in the military. For instance, SS# info. Unless you are cleared, you are not able to have names and SS# together.
But say I was to ask generally, if any premature babies had been born in a hospital. It would not be violating anyone's privacy to say "yes." If you give specific info, it would be an issue.
I'm kinda wondering how a Military Dependent ended up with private insurance, but I'll give anyone the bene of the doubt. I wont' be walking out on a wire over hot coals in this person's honor, but whatever they say. But whatever. I'm not particularly interested in this situation any more.
Red Willow, I would have assumed she would have been arrested for Domestic Violence if the cops were called and she went all beat up on DC. That usually is an involunatry arrest...no need for the injured party to press charges, right?

If you go to the Star website, under her diary entry, theres another link to "click here to read Laura's letter..."
in her letter she says "The juiciest, most difficult, saddest, deepest, most page-turning chapter in the book of my life started on March 7th. This is the day I stopped drinking and using. This is the day I took my first step up the giant mountain called Sobriety. On this day, my life changed forever. I can only believe it's for the better because I'm doing all the right things now. This is going to sound cliche', but I let go and let God and so far it's working out for me.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the term using and drinking implies she used drugs and alcohol!

I believe this is how Tommy will end his participation in the 3-day, which will come tomorrow morning or mid-day.....
After being hounded, harassed and hit-on, the beautiful Barbara Lee Edwards will slap him with (her hand first) a restraining order. The cops will take him away. His one call will be a "on-air phoner" to tell listeners that all is well at the 3-day.
Seriously, next year she will have nothing to do with FH for the walk. She has a pretty good rep from what I can see. And it's true, like minded peeps should stick together and it usually rings true but when you look at the Slewgram, they are a mix of good and baaaad. She is so pretty...I am jealous!

Balboa makes sense.
I'm inclined to suspend all judgement on this situation, as all the information seems to be based on second hand information and heresy.
I was scheduled to meet "Beth" at the hospital on Tuesday (strike that, it was Wed evening. Sorry for the mistake)evening. She told me to meet her at UCSD, and she would introduce me to the family (brother or grandmothers if they were there.) I have the IM saved.
Balboa is of course possible, but as I was asked to meet her and the family at UCSD, it seems a bit remote.

We are each going to come to our own conclusion and that's fine. It really is time to put this to bed for good and come back to our common ground...though with Tommy treading so heavily on it, we may find ourselves closer to sea level than we were yesterday!
I really am sorry.

Red Willow, I would have assumed she would have been arrested for Domestic Violence if the cops were called and she went all beat up on DC. That usually is an involunatry arrest...no need for the injured party to press charges, right?
That's assuming that she was hitting him to hit him, and not trying to get away from him while he was trying to stop her from hurting herself.
It's all about intent.
And DV is still a misdemeanor, it's not a felony unless serious injury or death results.
[QUOTE=Transplant]Laura's Diary - November 9th, 2007
Friday, November 9, 2007 at 11:56am
Dear Diary,
...I need to find my own place for child custody purposes, not to mention the fact that Michelle probably wants to have some semblance of a normal life.........
-------------------------------------------------
Dave doesn't approve of Chim-Chim's :monkey: free for all daycare center? That's not very accepting of him.
After all, it's fun to have a place where kids can play with no adult supervision.
They can teach themselves to swim, pick up the latest rehab lingo by watching Mommy's NA videos, learn to fend for themselves while mommy's wasting time taping a mindless-pointless-self absorbing "movie".
On the serious side - for those of us not involved- it's hard to keep our eyes turned away from the train wreck that is happening in a very public way - but we're just observing.
But can you imagine being Dave watching your kids in this environment? I would've snapped a couple months ago and taken a Thelma and Louise style drive with Tummy and Laura in the back seat.
But that's just me.

Uh oh....looks the invisible elves showed up here when they were outed overseas...
This was posted in September!
The Philippines Supreme Court has asked a fired judge who claims he is assisted by three elves to stop making threats of “ungodly reprisal.”
The court kicked Florentino Floro Jr. off the bench largely because of his belief in the supernatural, the Wall Street Journal reports (sub. req.). A medical clinic determined that the judge was suffering from psychosis.
Since then Floro has battled to get his job back, appearing on TV and winning converts who seek his healing powers. At the same time, a series of unfortunate incidents have befallen the supreme court justices or their families, including serious illnesses and car accidents.
Floro says the person to blame for the mishaps is one of the elves, "Luis," a "king of kings" who is an avenger. He told the newspaper that the elves help him predict the future, but he has never consulted them when issuing judicial decisions.
Are one of you Invisible Elves Luis???

It felt very surreal this morning as I read LBM's diary. I constantly get the feeling that it's all a big joke, that NOBODY could be so self-absorbed, clueless, selfish, etc. It's almost dizzying the amount of information she gives and how she seemingly has no clue how stupid her revelations make her look. She has to get her own place for custody issues, not because she needs to grow up and be independent and adult?
Oh, and I LIKE Amused. She makes me laugh, and I relate to her because I was married to somebody almost as self-absorbed as Tubby. I had two kids with him, and divorced him. For the longest time, it seemed I spoke an entirely different language than my ex and that we were living on completely different planets. It was frustrating to say the least. I can't even imagine how it must be for Amused with Tubby airing private matters with an obvious slant toward the Saint Tubby point of view.
I guess Elton hasn't made any mistakes in his/her life and just can't relate to Amused or me or half the population of the country?

If I recall correctly, when she first read her letter to everyone after returning beck to radio, she mentioned NA and Alcohol and "other things"
I remember her speech exactly, and she said, "My name is Laura C., and I'm an alcoholic and user."
And that was it. She never again mentioned "using" anything else after that. She only talked about alcohol...I for one DIDN'T think she had a drinking problem, only coke, but then my cousin (husband's cousin) said for years she'd heard stories from her friend who worked at (either one or both of the Star stations) that LBM would come into the studio with a bottle of alcohol first thing in the morning...
rain or shine, that girl had booze and would offer to share it around the office there. My husband's cousin teaches jazzercise, so this was a member of the dance place, and she was a health freak, and took careful note of LBM'S behavior at that time.

I've just never seen any a-ha things that made me think she is definitely who she says she is. It's easy to react to things that happen (I've never read anything she said that I couldn't have made up myself, for example), but I've never seen her say anything before it actually happens.
But as you've all said, none of us knows who anyone is and I can accept that. Just thought I'd bring it up for discussion.
Amused (if you are indeed who you say you are, which I will assume from here on out), I find it interesting that you have asserted several times how no one should shed a tear for LBM since she has chosen her own wrong path yet you have no problem accepting the sympathies of people on this board who say how awful it is that you have to deal with FH. Didn't you choose your path? Didn't you choose to have two children with a man whose integrity you say you questioned almost from day one? I think that's a double standard on your part. I feel as bad for LBM that she has an addiction problem and can't seem to find her way as I do for your kids that they have to deal with that crappy father. And when did this affair happen between FH and LBM and how did you find out about it if he's your ex? I assume you get a lot of your info from your kids, but surely he didn't tell the kids THAT, did he?

Respectfully, Elton, not one time has Amused asked for sympathy in any way, shape or form. She has not asked us to shed a tear for her. If people express their own thoughts, that's fine, but they have not been solicited. I've seen her several time say something along the lines of don't feel bad for me, I'm out and happy...
I found out about MY former husband's affair after our divorce. I suspected it, but it was not confirmed to me until several months after we divorced.
Just a difference of opinion :) Hope you're having a good day.

Rnot one time has Amused asked for sympathy in any way
No, but she seems to enjoy it and keeps coming back with these "you won't believe what he's done now" scenarios. Sometimes a need can be implied rather than asked for outright. She clearly needs some sort of affirmation or she wouldn't be wasting her time here.
On another topic, LBM says in her diary she is cleaning house for FH this weekend. Even poor little me can afford someone to clean -- can't he/they??? And why is she just now looking for a place to live? I'd think that would have been top of the list for someone who wants child custody. Bad priorities, that girl.
I just asked my Clear Channel friend about Amused's story on LBM getting carted off to CMH. She said it might be true but she was surprised because even if she was told the more sanitized version of what happened the real story usually gets out in that building eventually through the gossip chain. She said that's why she and her co-DJ(s) do their job and get the hell out of there as soon as their show is over -- too much gossip with all those Big Deals making Big Money around there. Lots of affairs, drugs, booze, etc.

I used to work for the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce (it's named something different now I think!) and in that office, people ALWAYS brought in alcohol. It was unbelievable. I was a fresh from SDSU rookie, so it was very "adult" to me, though now i see it as unprofessional and kind of pathetic, but those co-workers would drink all the time!
During lunch meetings, for celebrations, etc... for my 25th bday, they took me to Old Town and got me HAMMERED! And it was only 11:30 in the morning on that day! Ahhh, the good old days when I worked in the corporate world.

Reco Listener, I think that within the world of radio, TV and other related forms of entertainment, alcohol use and abuse is failry common.
I don't think Amused has ever come here claiming to have an original St. Peter-issued halo. We sometimes choose our spouses (ex) poorly. Hopefully, we learn from our lessons. When we have children with these people, we deal with those consequences, too. But the children don't havae the ability to grasp the intricate concepts here, and the (stable) parents has to assume the lion's share of responsibility. It's not always the easiest path, and if she chooses to use this forum as a relief valve to express anger and share experiences, I don't see a problem.
I think her posts have been a lot more healthy in terms of her children...she doesn't use them as advertisements or shills in exchange for commercial favors.

Ok - so I thought wrong, no big deal. Although if I were a big deal just the fact that I said something would make it fact - isn't that how it works for FH? I do think that after this initial statement that she did not mention drugs after that, if she did it was not often.

Many of us, men and women, have made mistakes in choosing a spouse. Both men and women who live double lives (cheaters) are often quite charming and loving at first, have lots of plausible stories and endless justifications but once the dark side is fully exposed and the spouse calls them on it, they can become very scary....both the LBM and FH that Amused has spoken of ring very true based on what we can see, hear and read ourselves.

I need to just say something....
"People" keep taking us off track. It's the old "look over here" slight of hand trick so that you don't notice what's REALLY happening. My husband says I am too trusting so when I started reading about "the hoax that shall not be named" I mentioned that I was a bit skepitcal and he said if I had a gut feeling I was probably right. Wish I would have gone with my instinct.
So, now again, I "feel" that people who keep trying to pit us against each other and keep picking on each other have ulterior motives. I sorta think that some Clear Channel people keep infiltrating our board and try to mix it up so we quit talking about the spewgram. I may be very wrong but I think that if we totally ignore those that keep poking at us we can keep to what this charter is all about: commenting on the personalites who we have come to know and judge! Don't even respond to the "mixers" and they will shut up and go away.
Hey, I know! Why don't we have a membership drive...everyone tell 2 (or more) people to join this thread (apologies in advance to Trixie, the number keeper and to APEX monitor)then when Tummy gets back from the 3-day he will have such a surprise to see our numbers! But the more I think about it, the more I just cannot imagine many women at all wanting to sleep with him (even LBM, whose judgment is clearly quite clouded on some things). Ok, here's one to toss out there for discussion - it's not Texas related or anything, although maybe a little DBertish.
Over a year ago, somebody came on and claimed that Boris had such raging animosity towards Larua because she didn't return his romantic advances (pre Dave). At the time, it struck me as a little funny - strange that somebody would think to float an idea out there that happened so far in the past.

Dilbert was a poster several months ago that would usually show up right after the spewgram ended in the morning and make repetitive, redundant, goofy comments like "Boy, wasn't that a great Showgram today? The guys were really funny and Laura sure is doing well with her recovery. Aren't you just thrilled to have Laura back now? Isn't it fun that Randy and Debbie are buying a house together?"
So now anytime anyone says anything dumb, it's called a Dilbert. Someone else may give a better explanation, but that's it in a nutshell :)

can somebody give me an explanation of the Dilbert reference? I have scrolled through the old messages, but didn't quite get what happened.
I am sure many of us will respond to this. You will have to go waaaay back to see a Dilbert posting. Like at least two months.
Dilbert was someone who infected the DC board and drove us nutttzzz. We are pretty certain he was a plant from the Slewgram and eventually the moderator kicked him off the board. That's not to say that he/she has not joined the DC board since under another name.
Did I get this right my frineds?

Poor DC and Amused. Both married (at one time) to a "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". Even though you have inklings of the truth behind the lies, they are very good at keeping the veil down over their true personality.

Dilbert seemed to simply have a heart toward caring about everyone -- not just people on this thread. Dilbert felt bad for the innocent victims who suffered from the cruel comments posted on this page. Comments like, well when Boris calls Charlie "Chimp-boy" or says Evie is a drug-baby.
Dilbert met Jeff and Jer and they were nice to him so it was hard for him to writie on this site without wondering why everyone is so mean. Especially to Tommy, who sees to be the most giving, caring, man in San Diego. His relationship with his mom and brothers, and the way he does that Christmas show makes everyone cry.
Dilbert did get banned but he still enjoys the Showgram and wishes all of you would tune in Monday to hear about the 60 mile walk.
Best Wishes,
Dil-----er..Jake

Little Tommy has worked very hard to get to where he is. He has had problems of course but has worked hard to get there and stay there. Good jobs like working on the Jeff and Jer Radio Showgram are hard to come by in the radio business. He's juggling lots of stuff. He's dealing with her struggles to overcome food addiction, He's dealing with all that stuff with his mom, his kids, Laura, Mitchell, and now the three day. He's dealing with juggling everything that a dad does with the kids. He's just juggling a lot of things in life and he's being the best dad that he knows how to be.
This is the point where some people missed the point. he's doing the best he can. He's just himself and that's all anybody can expect him to be. He's a working parent, a single parent, a father who has had problems in life, and we should all just take a deep breath and cut him a break because he's juggling a lot.
Some of us in life have issues that come one at a time, but he's juggling all these issues at the same time. So let's hope he continues to evolve because he is doing a good job which some people just don't seem to see. :spock:

It has taken me DAYS to catch up! All I can say, without naming names is WOW!!!!! But good to see my bs filter is on par here......Snot-listener, good riddance. Elton, it is whatever it is. If you don't want to believe fine, but try to be respectful to those who know otherwise. (personal experience....she knew things only a radio wife would know.)
Oh, look at me; I named names. I blame the sangria.....it is a Friday after all.
And at the risk of being tarred and feathered.....did LHM and FH really hook up? Sorry but that one is going to eat at me.....how could you end up living with someone you slept with and still act like platonic friends? Maybe I'm over-thinking it and I'm sure someone will let me know if I am, but if that is the case than these two are on a completely new level of disconnect....I....I.....

I'm a long time reader--seldom poster. I really enjoy this board and think the posters are good hearted people as evidenced by the outpouring of sympathy and offers to help for the "you know who hoaxer". However, one thing that bothers me is so many of you seem so anxious for Laura to fall of the wagon. Someone made a mention on an earlier board that she could well have an hyperactive attention deficiency disorder and I agree with this. Often people affected in this way try to self-medicate by using booze and drugs. When these substances are removed from them then the hair twisting, constant moving, etc. shows up again.
I think Laura is very deficient in parenting skills and maturity, but I'm willing to hope she makes it and not anxiously looking for any sign of a slip-up so I can say,"There-- we knew it all along." This does not make me a fan of hers or associated with the showgram.
I've had many friends and family members who've fought "the demon rum" and won with the help of AA. This reminds me that people in AA are free to out themselves, but not others and I don't recall Tommy or Laura revealing anyone else's identity, as was mentioned a couple of weeks ago.
Incidentally, I thought Dilbert sounded a lot like Randy.
I just wanted to say hello to all today. I don't post a lot but I read EVERYTHING. :)

Okay....who's LHM? I think I can figure it out but people come up with different acronyms for LBM and I scratch my head trying to figure out what it is. Could it be Laura Has Munchies ? From Jean: "However, one thing that bothers me is so many of you seem so anxious for Laura to fall of the wagon."
I don't think any of us are salivating at the impending downfall of Laura...everyone is so dang frustrated at the fact that she doesn't get it!!! As I said before, I'm long time sober and I have seen so many people try and fail and I feel their pain. What drives me nuts is that Laura is using all her energy to feel sorry for herself! If in fact she has ANY kind of a disorder she would know it before anyone else. Then it is up to her as an adult (???)to contact a physician and a counselor and get the correct medication and help. I don't want to see her fail...I just want her to stop being so self-involved and self-absorbed. I would love to see her get herself together and get back with Dave. But, in my experience, it's those people who are the "poor me" kind that resort back to drugs and/or alcohol to make them feel better. I have had to face the death of a parent, a major health diagnosis, and just plain old life when it sucks...then I searched for another answer.
I am Catholic but have also been learning about the Buddhist way of life of acceptance and meditation...and it's a lot of work...this past year especially. I can't tell you how many times I'd rather just have a drink. But I swear, I don't whine and cry and take to bed.
No, I seriously would love to see Laura succeed and be happy. I just don't see her taking the right path.
Tummy, on the other hand....what a loser!! And I hope that Karma bites him in the a$$!
Well, Printer, you probably started out as a more mature person than Laura will ever be and congratulations on your sobrity. ( A word that apparently I can't even spell.)

Dilbert was banned for repeated personal attacks, and repeatedly trying to cause trouble. His pattern was quite apparent.
I say this with great self-appointed authority. I was quite certain the moderator at the time was taken with my feminie charms. It later turned out that it was more along the lines of absolute coincidence, but as with many of my prior relationships, I didn't let this get in the way of my imagination.

Maybe I'm being a dumb blonde, (not implying that all blondes are dumb...just saying I'm both) but I'm not understanding the whole compassionate outpouring for Flubby from Wonk and SDGirl....am I just flying too low under the subtle sarcasm radar screen?....I get so confused here sometimes!
Lastly: I remember back in the day when Tommy first met and married Dannell...he used to say all kinds of glowing and complimentary things about her and their relationship...always mentioned how hot he thought she was. I recall that it didn't take very much time at all after their wedding for the passive/aggressive comments to begin...all under the guise of "I'm a newly-wed guy...how do I handle this or that situation..let's ask the listeners"

He can finish the walk....be "father-of-the-year,".....provide moochelle with 11 minutes of "love"....visit mom......leave a nasty phone-call for Amused.....allow Eddie and Vanessa 45-minutes of un-supervised "free-time".....download the 3,178 pictures of him walking and making friends.....have 3 tacos, 1 pizza, an ice-cream-sundae,a Big-Mac, and still have time to try and make LBM smile as she rails against the unfair world that allows a decent, hard-working man to dump a drug-addict, alcoholic, all-about-me-skank-since-I-was-in-college-kind-of-a-big-deal-bleached-blonde-who keeps asking "why-is-my-ass-still-growing?"-and I'm-trying-to-find-a-home-for-my-"special"-kids-can-live-in-because-there's-a-7-11-nearby-which-is-essential-for-the-kind-of-mom-who-can't afford-to-lose-her-custody-to-a-professional-pilot-kind-of-stable-man-once-had.

Hey Tubby, let me introduce to a new concept we use in English. It's called a "plural." You are supposed to use a different form of the verb when referring to more than one of something.
So you wouldn't say "There is thousands of tents here." A thousand is more than one--mathematically speaking--so you should say "There ARE thousands of tents here."
If you said "There is a giant flabby tub o'lard attached to my chest," that would be correct. But you wouldn't say "There is lots of listeners here." There ARE lots of listeners here.
Since you are a big deal, I know you care about details and accuracy. Just trying to help.

But about Elton...well his whole attitude on the blog bothers me. Everyone else has a sarcastic, yet humorous edge, yet his is just well, so negative in a literal sense. If he doesn't agree or like the people on the board, why come back?
Please explain to me what "negative in a literal sense" means. How can one be non-literally negative?
I wasn't negative, just questioning. Seems like lots of people ask questions here and are pretty darn negative. I agree with the poster who said s/he is concerned about the attitude that people seem to want to see LBM's demise. I like the back and forth on here about the quality of the J&J show, but it does bother me when people seem to be getting off on LBM and FH's poor lifestyle choices. It's one thing to point a finger and say "ugh" but it's quite another to hope for their downfalls so you can laugh at them. I think people who feel that way are way worse than those whom they are laughing about.

Do you think he really lasts 11 minutes? That sounds generous from what I have heard. Everything else sounds perfectly accurate.
Just a guess, but I'm thinking he's so busy stuffing his face, playing his guitar or guitars, blobbing on his blob, walking, doing bickering yoga, thinking about how he's a good dad, staring at the workout equipment in his garage, doing all that hard work on the show, seeing his mom, counseling LBM, etc., etc., that he probably says he prefers quality over quantity, which is his way of having the "trophy" and maintaining his ego.
So, yeah, I think he probably lasts 11 minutes by thinking about his Chargers, if you know what I mean.
Then, for some reason, he's probably good to go for at least another 2 or 3 weeks. I think the "fights" he has with Moochie at night are probably his way of getting out of the "dorkin'."
Again, just guessing, but I think he talks the talk, but doesn't really walk the walk.

LBM does say in her diaries that she always sleeps really well after bickering yoga AND always oversleeps the next morning. Thoughts of bickering dancing in her head wears a person out.
I say, at least there's something dancing in her head.

I might be new to posting here but I've been reading this site for months, so I've read everything Amused has posted.
Elton...
Why does MY LIFE (or my previous life with FH) mean anything to you? You are relentless and need to crawl back in your lurking hole. I don't ask for sympathy, I don't think these people sympathize for me. I think they all realize something you don't... FH is a Radio Personality, a fictional being. 99% of everything he says is made up or seriously embellished.
My kids don't have to deal with a crappy father. They VISIT him and know that he is fictional. He calls them more than most father's and would love to have their respect but does nothing to earn it. I can't help him with that.
I have NO REGRETS in my life, never have, never will. Everyone comes into my life to teach me something. From FH I have learned a great deal. I'm a better person today than I was when I met him in 1992, because of the choices that I've made. Don't think for a minute that I can be compared to Whora... even on her best day. I am everything that she will never be!

I really don't think he walked the entire 20 miles today. Maybe walked half, road the buses half. If he did, he'd be complaining a LOT more than he did. Amazing that it's the 3 day and he's STILL managed to talk about food in his blog. I hope there was enough food for the rest of the walkers. Hopefully they didn't advertise the food as "all you can eat" because we all know he takes that as a personal challenge... He's such a gluttonous pig.
Goodnight Jake!

Well said, sista! (Ok, that sounds really weird coming out with an Irish brogue rather than an "in the hood" type sound that it has in the movies.) Anyway, Amused, you are so together. Good for you.
Now, as for you Elton -- I keep trying to figure out if you are Dilbert, but I don't think you are. I do, however, think you are no more than one degree of separation away from the spewgram. My guess would be Mooch, but she's in a tent slathering twinkie filling over XXXL'S blistered feet. Anyway, I'm glad you like them all so well, and I'm sorry that many of us on this board bug you. I wonder what you can do so that we don't bug you any longer? Hmmmm (scratches head while pondering the dilemma).
Nighty night my DC buddies.
PS -- Jake, we ought to pay you for the entertainment! (insert "who will set up the paypal" gag here) You are a funny man (and I don't mean funny like "Pam looks funny in her clown suit" funny or funny as in "isn't it funny how we never see Laura and Mr. Ed in the same room at the same time" funny ... I mean "ha, ha, ha" funny.)

Hey Trixie and Girl from Oregon, what are the three of us doing up at 12:30 am? I know why I am ... I for one just cannot get a moment of sleep with all the excitement of SUPER TUESDAY coming up. You know, the BIG DAY when we finally find out if Fat A$$ is going to light the Christmas tree. I hope he does -- and that he is standing in a smallish-puddle when he does it -- just enough to give him a shock that would make us laugh but not enough to really harm him (because Karma is a biatch!)

Yes, I'm still up, caught up, and I'll paste up the list.
I believe I have accounted for all the peeps who have asked for a number, and some that are posting that weren't on the spreadsheet, yet (Ctrl+F is my friend).
A few days ago when HesitateNoMore started posted, I added it to the list, but after Surfin_Hoaxer was outed and removed, I backtracked on that number.
There may be a few on the list that aren't deserving of numbers, but they are free, don't cost anyone anything, so why not. We can always recycle a number if someone gets anned-bay.

Good Morning. Almost 5Am.
FH will be walking soon and hopefully he does walk and not "ride"..if ya know what I mean...or even roll. The 3 day'er is all about ratings and radio station business to him. He isn't in it for the cause but just to get exposure. Mooch, being the loyal listener goupie is probably the same. Remember back when FH was just that guy in a booth who you heard a small peep from? Those were better days indeed.
As far as LBM/whora...how does she keep getting rewarded for being a failure??? I mean this SD Magazine story on the "great laura" big deal celebrity of SD>>>> Or even keeping all the endorsements she does too??? She is one of those who has all these "enablers" around her keeping her loopy so their meal ticket can be punched. I mean, she doen't even haver her own place yet.
Anyway, also a shout out to the Marines. 10 Nov 1775, 232 years of honored service to this great nation. A toast to the USMC.

Yes, he was excommunicated, or released from service with the DC board with an honorable mention.
Also, I was running errands late yesterday afternoon and Jenn and RIck from the afternoon show called Tommy as he was less than a mile from ending day one. The thing that stood out for me was that, when talking about Sunday being the last day and the walk ending about 4pm, he said something like, "Uh, I don't know about Sunday."
Hmmmm, setting himself up to sit out on Sunday, p'haps? He won't want to miss the Chargers play so that could be why.

Hey Thanks Al for the shout out for the Marines! Just called my Dad and told him...he was in WW2..93 young. He is full of stories. He was in Siapan, Tineain & Wake Islands, Marshal.. Iwo Jima.. God Bless All Marines ..all Service Men & Woman Everywhere!

Charger game isn't until Sunday evening.
But, I may digress........maybe FH has other things beyond the Chargers.... like the "all-you-can-eat-buffet-for-toads-who-hike-for-women-who-think-they-gives-a-sh*t-about-others-because-they-are-skirt-chasing-mysogonystic-shallow-lumps-of-humanity?
Jake,
Hear! Hear! Your posts are what mine would be if I were funny and could put the thoughts in my head down in print. But I have to ask, how can you type all of those hypens? I balk at the words three-year-old and sometimes write it incorrectly just so I can skip two measly hyphens. Impressive!
Have there been any FH sightings on the walk? I mean the kind where his feet were actually touching the ground and moving in a bipedal motion for an extensive length of time.

Yes, he was excommunicated, or released from service with the DC board with an honorable mention. Yes, I know... the GAM "86"d him, therefore his special #. But he wasn't quite honorable, if you know what I mean.

I was looking at the pictures Tommy took of the 3-day that have been posted on Jeff and Jer's website. #15 of 46 is extra classy. It's of some chick bending over from behind... in spandex. WTF? Doesn't anybody screen these things?
I saw that too, Girl, and immediately thought the same thing as you- WTF????
Who wants to see that? NO ONE!
Trixie,
Thank you for assigning me a number. Apparently I'm the only one to sign in a name that is my own because I didn't have enough sense to come up with an alias.

I had the misfortune of seeing FH on channel 8 news. If he thinks he is chubby, he is seriously mistaken. He is HUGE! I had to change the channel.
Good luck to all the serious walkers in the 3-day. (Reminder to the ladies: have you had your mammogram?)
Happy Veterans Day.

AMUSED,
RE: "Why does MY LIFE (or my previous life with FH) mean anything to you?"
You are the one who chooses to come on here and talk about your private life, including your three children. You point fingers and say FH shouldn't be talking in his blob about them but then you come here and do the same thing, a Web site that has been proven to be easily found by those looking for info on J&J. What is wrong with you that you get some sort of justification from coming on a Web site to "set the record straight" with a couple of hundred of readers?
RE: "I don't think these people sympathize for me."
So what do you call it when they keep saying how sorry they are for you and your kids because of FH's lies? And you thank them over and over.
RE: "I think they all realize something you don't... FH is a Radio Personality, a fictional being. 99% of everything he says is made up or seriously embellished."
Yeah, I get that. It's his job. And I'm guessing you and your kids live quite nicely because of the coin he earns being a fake. I know that doesn't make up for their not having a father of integrity, but if you really hate what he does, don't take the money he earns from it and don't let the kids either. Put your wallet where your mouth is.
RE: "I'm a better person today than I was when I met him in 1992, because of the choices that I've made."
That's great! I have no doubt that's true, Amused. My issue is with your pointing fingers at LBM's bad choices when you made some yourself. They are not the same issues, and she can't seem to learn from hers, but I think it's a double standard for you to point fingers considering your background with FH. You knew how he was and you married him anyway, probably drawn into the web of money and *fame.* And then you had two kids with what you had to have known would not be good father, especially when he treated your older daughter so poorly.
RE: "I am everything that she will never be!"
How nice of you to wish for her demise again. People change, but I think you revel in her downward spiral. That's sick.
RE: "If you ever need a Private Investigator"
Are you getting kickbacks by advertising this again and again? What do I need to investigate? You tell everything here for free.
Wake up, people! Just because Amused gives you the "inside track" supposedly on what's going on with FH doesn't make her above what FH and LBM and the rest of that show are doing.
Sorry to be so negative but as a longtime reader I'm sick of Amused presenting herself here as above the fray.
Elton
11-10-2007, 11:01 AM
And by the way, I KNOW there are readers here who agree with me but I have no doubt I'll be vilified anyway. Amused being here gives some of you a sense of importance, and you live for her input (how many times have I seen you ask her questions, hoping for inside info!?!). Being honest about your feelings might risk Amused not posting here, and you'd hate that because then you'd have to go back to being just *regular* people discussing a radio show. And wouldn't that be a pity -- not. So go ahead and vilify me, but be honest with yourself.
I miss the days when it was Boris et al being witty and having fun.

Elton, you are making a personal attack on another member. This is not allowed, and definitely not appreciated. Unfortunately my computer is acting up and the Mod Alert button does not work this morning. You seem to have a lot of pent-up hate, and I'm sad for you. Now could you get back to the subject of the forum?

Please. Like he would take the time to be on here. You are kidding yourself if you think this little forum would be important to Jerry. What is important to him is a paycheck, a big one, and he gets that regardless of what is said here. That's why I questioned Amused's identity -- I didn't think FH's ex would find value in this, and would in fact want to distance herself as much as possible from her ex's antics. Guess not.

Elton, your right about Jerry.
But why does it matter why amused is on here? The point is that she is here and just like the rest of us that are here we have a dislike for the showgram. It really doesnt matter who any of us are in the scheme of things we are all supposed to be here for the dislike of a radio show...so get over it or move on...
havent you picked up on the clue that we are all sick of drama and would rather discuss Tommy's weight, and speculate what type of apartment laura will maybe rent....and wonder when Mooch will realize being physically engaged with Tommy isn't worth any amount of money in the world...

Hey Trixie and Girl from Oregon, what are the three of us doing up at 12:30 am? I know why I am ... I for one just cannot get a moment of sleep with all the excitement of SUPER TUESDAY coming up. You know, the BIG DAY when we finally find out if Fat A$$ is going to light the Christmas tree
-------------------------------------------------------------
Two things. I can't BELIEVE that they are dragging this thing on for over an entire week! They are running out of bits, and have to make this lame subject last...egads!! You know he's going to the concert. It was totally stupid to bring Father Joe into this. I'm sure it was to make the "morally correct" decision.
Elton, there's something seriously wrong here. Every time you post it sounds more and more like either someone from the showgram or maybe a good friend of Tubby (does he have any male friends?) Maybe you're not a male, that would explain it. Anyway, Amused, I'm sending you a PM.

If Laura and Tommy didn't make so many horrible choices in life we wouldnt have to point them out and make fun of their stupidity. I don't think any of us want to see Laura fail her attempts at sobriety but.....when she makes minimal effort to change her life how can we feel confident that she won't fall off the wagon? These people don't take serious issues in life serious. They think that because they are on a radio station the rules don't apply to them...if you don't believe me look read both of their blogs.
I think Laura should have "tough love", I'd love for her to prove us all wrong...I feel bad for her kids they are the ones who are suffering because of her actions. None of us should sympathize with Laura she put herself in the situation she is in. So, think we are lame for judging her because of her flaws but she hasnt really done anything to change her lifestyle....
are you sure your not friends with someone on the showgram?

Iamsheens, thanks for talking to me rather than just ignoring me or talking around me as others have. You're right about Amused or anyone else having a right to be here. But like I said, I get uncomfortable when people start thinking they are *better* than LBM or FH, especially Amused. I'd like to think I have more integrity than FH and LBM but I don't know them personally. Someone might look at just the bad or public stuff I've done in my life or your life and think we suck, too. So my plea to all of you -- especially those of you who claim to be Christians and know it is against biblical teaching to make fun of people -- is to back off on enjoying the bad things that happen to FH or LBM. We should pity them for their ignorance, not revel in their downfalls. Critiquing or complaining about the show is one thing, but personal attacks on show members should be just as intolerable as personal attacks on people in this forum.

The moral decision on going to a concert or a tree lighting cermony? Im sorry its lighting a tree its not meeting the pope, its not helping develope a cure for cancer, its not even important. Nobody will be upset if he doesn't go and Im sure some people will be glad he didn't go...Im sorry he is a nobody. I don't think he is the type of local celebrity who is going to draw a new audience to the tree lighting cermony and if he did it would be because he is bribing his listeners with free crap...TOMMY the decision is easy....DO EVERYONE A FAVOR AND JUST GO TO THE STUPID CONCERT....I'm so sick of hearing about this, and I dont even listen to them....LOL

I agree with you Elton but then I don't....see I feel horrible as a person for criticizing people because its like Im saying I'm better than you are....the difference here is that for one they are public figures anything they say or do is going to be criticized by someone and Im sure most people who read Laura and Tommy's blogs are thinking what we are we. Secondly, they are asking for it by pointing out every detail they do in life in blogs, especially Tommy. I think he likes attention rather its good or bad just remember any publicity is good publicity...

We start back up again tomorrow morning walking through Ocean Beach and Point Loma.
Good night. Talk to you soon.

I'd like to think I have more integrity than FH and LBM but I don't know them personally. (Well Amused does know them personally so if she thinks she has more integrity than LBM and FH I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Many of us have had run-ins with FH that were anything but positive so he's pissed us off as listeners and we're sick of him acting so innocent and pious so we use this forum to dispell any notion that he is the saint that never cheated, beat up on chicks and is a great father as he proposed himself to be in his blogs.) Someone might look at just the bad or public stuff I've done in my life or your life and think we suck, too (I do not write about all the personal deals of my life in a blog. If I did than criticize away because I'm putting it out there in a public.). So my plea to all of you -- especially those of you who claim to be Christians and know it is against biblical teaching to make fun of people -- is to back off on enjoying the bad things that happen to FH or LBM. (Bad things don't HAPPEN to FH and LBM they create the bad things by making bad choices. If someone's house burned down in the fires than that HAPPENED to them. If they used drugs or cheated on thier wife than they CHOOSE that.) We should pity them for their ignorance, not revel in their downfalls (I don't revel in their downfalls but I do get pissed that they are 40 year olds who can't seem to make the right decisions and then whine about how life is unfair to them and how brave they are for conquering the bad things in life their choices brought about). Critiquing or complaining about the show is one thing, but personal attacks on show members should be just as intolerable as personal attacks on people in this forum (Talking about them personally is critiquing and complaining about the showgram because they have chosen to use the drama they have created in their personal lives as bits on the show. Their personal lives and the shows have become one. Gone are the days of making talking Christmas trees say funny things to customers in Target or Drive Thru Richard. Gone are the days when they create funny situations. All we have now is them bitching about how hard their lives are now)

Elton,
I would also like to say again that I learned about this forum when I wrote an email to FH during the Chrisite days and suggested he might be better off not talking about his personal life because people I know who liked the showgram said him talking about Christie and still mentioning the other chick he was supposedly in love with enough to get a tattoo with her name (can't remember her name right now) plus still hitting on callers made him look like a womanizer. He responded by accusing me to be on this forum and said Christie was right next to him laughing at my email and that they had gone to Greece and eloped the weekend before. I responded with an email saying I was a little freaked out that he was so defensive and I'm glad he and Christie were finally married and hoped that would put an end to all of it. Of course we know the marriage never happened.
Basically he was pretty much an A$$ to me and all he knew about me was I was a listener. He did inspire me to Google and find this forum which I have to thank him for because I thought I was the only J&J listener from Y95 days who thought the show had gone down hill. I had been a lurker but finally had to chime in when all this LBM crap happened.
Meanwhile, do you ever wonder why he has to keep bringing in new people into his life constantly and how he never manages to keep friends or girlfriends around for long? It's because he is truly a self involved person who has no clue how to have personal relationships with people. He puts an act on but eventually his true self comes out. He loses listeners for the show and his personal life has infilitrated the show and become bits. I think a lot of people on this forum think the choices FH and LBM have made personally have really affected the quality of the showgram and brought the focus off of being a funny great way to start your day show to a drama let's talk about chicks, boobs, drugs, alcohol, day and had sucked the life out of them so the few non-personal bits are boring and lifeless.
Wow, I must be on crack right now because I can't stop typing.
