FYI Laura - those boobs are really just rolls of fat

I swear I think she had an enhancement while she was at "rehab." She's lost weight but she's not losing her boobs, which is usually the first thing to go on a woman losing weight.

Sad fact we may have to endure---
Because this is the state of CA, and that LBM is a woman, and she will soon have a safe home of her own, and she is showing progress to the court, plus the presiding judge may be a woman...there is a good chance she would get full custody of the kids. The court may see she is really trying, has all the people in place to vouch for her and the fact that Dave is a man in this state of CA......
Yes, I know that would be hard to take...but be prepared as it may happen. Also, Mooch does work the court system and between her and possible FH contacts, favors, etc....LBM may get the HUGE break she needs to regain full custody.
All sad, but painfully true.
Your thoughts?????

If you had to spend 24 hours with someone on the showgram who would it be and why?

I used to go to a Bible study Jeff was at and he was very down to earth there. He actually made it a point to talk with new people and ask them about themselves with real interest.
That was 10 years ago, though, so he could have changed. It sounds like he has based on what some of you have experienced.
EVERYONE I've ever talked to who has come in contact with Jer says he's a jerk.

Delana is the only one I could bear to spend any time with. She seems smart. She must be making really good money to be able to take the rudeness dished out by Jer. He cuts her off all the time. (I admit I listen to the spewgram sometimes, although the whole time I am thinking how bad they suck.)

I think it's possible for a man to get a fair judgement in California, especially if everything has been well documented. All Dave has to do is burn a cd of all the Tubby Tube episodes, and print Laura's Diary.

If Moochelle tries to intervene, any judge she spoke to would have to recuse himself.

No.

"Jake" is the fake name FH suggests when guys call the show.

I called in years ago...there was a woman who complained her husband never takes out the trash.

Later, they had a "What are you thankful for?" segment (During Thanksgiving week). I called in, FH told me I was "Jake," and I said I was thankful for never having to take out the trash.

I retired soon after, and I am left with only my ability to spell reasonably well (did I get "reasonably" correct?) while living an alternate life on this thread.

P.S.

Apropos of nothing, does anyone else miss Phil Hartman? He was so talented...what a shame he married the extreme version of LBM.

Oh, well. That dude sounded just like I imagined you would sound. He seemed to be smart, too, I think he said he was a brain researcher or something like that. It was ambiguous & lofty enough that it also sounded like something you would do. (sad sigh)

It's only a matter of time before Laura tells all of us that Chimp Charlie is in "therapy" for his obsession with dismembering and eating neighborhood cats... and then making lovely loin clothes for Chips' two daddies out of their fluffy pelts.:gle:

Hey! Why do you have to pick on cats, huh? Can't he have an obsession with crabs or oysters or something like that?

Not to mention, "Uncle Jer" really won't like that!

All we talk about now is Laura and Tommy, (and the same things about them over and over.)

J&J's plan is working perfectly. They are staying out of everything, letting LBM and FH take the limelight, so that when their contracts are up, they can fade away, and Tommy and Laura will still have jobs, (or that's their plan, anyway.)

Ahhh... their work is done. We rarely talk about the two J's on here anymore anyway.

I'd pick XXXL Fat Head Tub-o-lard, BUT it would be on my terms. I'd put eye patches over both of my eyes so that I wouldn't have to see him. He'd have to sit still in a chair and not talk all day. He'd have to listen to my lengthy list of why I think he is a most despicable person -- from his lecherous adultering to his horrific parenting (or lack there of) to his phoney persona. Then I'd call up Paul McCartney who would tell FH all the ways in which they are dissimilar. Then I'd make up a song entitled "Holy Balls, Am I Ever a Jackass" and he'd have to learn all 18 verses of it. Each day from now on the J/j Spewgram would begin and end with that song.

If you want to know the tune of Holy Balls Am I Ever a Jackass, just watch the turkey dance to it and I'm sure you'll hear it in your head. Here goes ...:turkey:

How to take a bath:

1) First you fill the tub.
2) Then you turn on the water.

As one of my best friends would say, "Fat jokes are just a cheap dig when you are mad at someone, because you would never say anything like that to someone you care about who is overweight."

True enough for me...fat isn't one of those things that bug me. It cracks me up that so many people I know just get so upset by it. I would think that the person who is overweight would actually be the person who would be upset. lol

I really hope that DC gets custody of the children when the time comes. Laura may be able to show that she's made a little bit of progress, but Dave can show that he's given the kids proven stability, which IMO is way more valuable. Dave probably understands that the kids are not his friends, and that is something Laura doesn't get. I hope that Dave has witnesses and people to speak of his character, and I hope that he uses Laura's diary and the videos against her. Her diary is proof that she doesn't get it. She is as irresponsible today as she was back when she went to rehab.

I'm wondering if the counselor the kid goes to reports to the court at all... if so, I think bringing him there soaking wet shows that Laura is nothing but a good time parent. Breaking into closed facilities, letting the kids play the lotto, etc... all irresponsible things that she has done and put into writing. DC better use that stuff against her. If she's willing to publically share her delinquencies, I wonder what she does that she doesn't write about.

If she gets full custody of the kids, it would be the worst thing for her. She could relapse at any moment, and the kids don't need that in their lives. Living w/ her will just create a chaotic situation for them.

Geez, I practically want to print out her diary to show to my mother and say..."YAH! And what say you about that?" I don't know if my parents even knew the meaning of the word 'fun.'

ONE TIME my parents decided to take me to the beach...you know, to be a family. My mom wore a huge hat and large Jackie O. sunglasses, zinc oxide or PABA probably all over her face. She brought a blanket to sit on and one to cover her up! She was afraid of the sun in 1970! We probably stayed for about 20 minutes and they probably both said, "Well, that's that...time to go home. Phew! We got through that all in one piece." We only lived 2 blocks from the beach!

Drive me to get a lotto ticket? First I'd have to work on getting them severely drunk. Well, Dad was always good for a spontaneous suggestion of a Frosty Freeze ice cream and maybe I could say, "Can we play the lotto just once?" (Sometimes I could work his soft side). No problem, if you don't mind the exhausting, adult lecture about the dangers of gambling and he'd paint a grim picture of me sitting in Vegas with nothing left but the shirt on my back and maybe throw in pregnant. I'd have to ask what "Vegas" and "Pregnant" mean and then it would be so depressing that I'd come home with my unscratched ticket and just prefer to sit in my room and try to cheer myself up with an episode of "I Dream of Jeannie." I'd throw the *dirty* ticket away.

Mom? Fun? Just Google "fun" and you'll see a video of her letting me read the jokes to her out of "Highlights" magazine when we'd go to the dentist or something. She was about as impulsive and frivolous as an ant carrying food in preparation for winter.

My parents as my best friends? Ha...a Ha...a HAHAHAHA! It was pretty clear to me that we were not exactly "equals" when I got all creative and drew pictures on our walls one time, my dad got mad, and I stuck my tongue out at him and it resulted in a spanking. How DARE my "friends" act like that over a simple disagreement.

It would have scared me to death if my mother or father started asking my opinion about where we should live, and catering to my whims and demands. What if I was wrong about something...I mean, "I'm JUST a kid! How am I supposed to decide if you should get married or not, if we should live in an apt. or a house or if we should have cake or eggs for breakfast? I wanna go to school where they tell us what to do."

Well heck. Looks like I had one humdinger of a good time last night and somehow managed to survive, if you know what I mean. Wish I could remember it. Jake, what did you put in my Sangria??? Funny, I don't even have a headache today. It's like it all never happened..................:gle:

Whoever posted the "first fill up the bathtub, then add water" ... that made me spit out my coffee...LOVED IT!

My parents believed that we 3 were their kids and they were the parents. We had rules, boundaries and punishment. If the teacher called home (oh goodness...that thought STILL makes me shudder!), the teacher was automatically believed - no excuses made or allowed.

My parents believed in raising responsible adults. We had a bed time, a curfew, a limit on phone time, ate dinner every night together at the dinner table, and did our own laundry from age 12 on. We did not have a phone or television in our room. If we were late coming home, we were not allowed back out for privileges for a week. There was zero tolerance for misbehavior. My 2 brothers shared a room.

They were the meanest, strictest, least flexible, most unfair parents in the whole world, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

I must be a moron...

My children have a set bed-time. They MUST eat all the food on their plates. They get perfect grades in school, because there is just no other option. All of them dress themselves every morning, without argument (even the 2.5 yr old). They do their homework from after dinner until bed-time. There is no TV watching to be done on weeknights. They put away thier clothes, take out the trash, etc, etc. Mommy and Daddy are very strict (they are all under 7 yr's old)

WE also, dance in the car and sing at the top of our lungs! Chase eachother around the house. Take random trips to the beach and build sand-castles in our jeans soaked up to the knees. Go to Sea World randomly and sit in the from row in order to get soaked while eating Churros.

I must be a moron because I believe there is nothing wrong with being friends with your child, as long as you always remember you are a role model FIRST and teach them that fun is secondary to responsibility.

Haha...this is so sad, my mom STILL gives me a curfew when I come to home to visit (and it's not even a reasonable one like 12 or 1...it's 9, maybe 10 pm). The only time I'm allowed to "break" curfew is when I'm with my older sisters and only after she's thoroughly yelled at my sisters for keeping me out late.

I haven't lived at home for about 8 years now...but she will still call me at 9 pm at times and ask me why I'm "out" and not at home getting ready for bed.

My mom was NEVER my "friend" in any regards like that. Now, I'm not saying LBM or FH should be THAT extreme, but I do know that it kept me from getting into trouble...

Laura's Diary - November 15th, 2007
Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 12:48pm

Dear Diary,

Charlie and I are going house hunting today after school. I'm getting excited about starting a "new" life on my own. I'm a little scared and a little sad and I know I'm going to miss Tommy's awesome house, but it's time. ! I love his house so much. It's so weird having it to myself every night. I'm not worthy! He's the most generous person I've ever known.

Anyway, I realized yesterday that I don't have ANYTHING right now. I don't own a computer. I've never bought a computer, but I'm going to need a computer, right? Why worry about such things right now? It just doesn't matter at the present time. That's what I told myself last night when I couldn't get to sleep. That rarely happens to me. It was one of those nights where my brain would not shut off. Not only that, I was thinking angry thoughts…negative thoughts…and I was struggling to get them back to peaceful ones. I even did Bikram Yoga last night in hopes of ridding my body of the bad vibes. It worked for awhile. Maybe the quick shopping spree at Old Navy after class added to the bliss.

Two things that made me extremely happy last night before my troubled sleep: The Hills and Project Runway. I was cringing at the whole LC/Heidi confrontation in LC's apartment. Get this…the DVR stopped recording right when LC was giving her "I want to forgive you and forget…" Boom. That's where it stopped. Dangit! I screamed. Project Runway delivered entertainment and drama as promised! I friggin' love love love that show!

See you tomorrow, Diary.

I think she read our complaints that she buys too many jeans...so she went and got a skirt to change things up. It's a bit boring, but better than a lot of the other ones. Bad angle though, you can't really see the tank top.

Also, why are the pictures always so blurry? Did they waste all of the station money on contracts that they couldn't buy a decent digital camera?

Haha...oh wow, this might be the new advertising trend. Target sponsors LBM's $75 outift and makes sure she only wears Old Navy clothes, and therefore people will opt not to buy the sweaters from Old Navy but instead will go to Target. Brilliant! Plus...ClearChannel can make money off of the sponsorship..win win for all.

Thanks to all of you that have sent me PM's and posted here about the death of my mom. She passed away on her 73rd birthday on Friday. It has been a really tough time and I did not want to post and be a "Debbie Downer". We had a beautiful service on Tuesday in Lake Forest, Ca. We *snuck* in one of my mom's black standard poodles to the hospital last Friday. We "borrowed" a Guide Dog yellow vest and wouldn't you know that, Joy, the dog, went up to my mom and kissed/licked her hand and refused to leave her side. Mom was still in a coma and breathed her last breath about 10 minutes later. My brothers and I couldn't believe it. We laughed and said she was not waiting for all of us kids, but waiting for her dogs! It was so like her! Thank you all for your kind wishes and prayers.

Not the cutest outfit, but Laura looks healthy and cute.

...for a MORON.

Driving to LA this morning, commercial break on DSC....flip to 94.1 just in time to hear a bit, "Five things you want to do in life."

LBM? I only heard two: Go to Africa. Okay...I can kind of get that one.

"Write a book about what I've been through" WTF?!?!?!?!

This could be the shortest book ever written. It would replace the current champion: "Interesting Rwandans I've Met While Yachting."

Laura Cain: Dealing With The Pressures of Being A Big Deal"

Chapter One: "How it all Began"

I was born in California.

Chapter Two: "The Formative Years"

I went to school and had a normal family and lived near Los Angeles. I liked the Brady Bunch.

Chapter Three: "The Defining Years"

I went to college and partied my ass off (figuratively), drank booze, snorted coke, did 23 "walks-of-shame," earned a degree, and met my future husband.

Chapter Four: "Becoming a Big Deal"

I met Jeff and Jer, got a job reading traffic and the news, partied my ass off (figuratively), drank booze, snorted coke, got married, got pregnant, drank booze, snorted coke, had two kids and one affair.

Chapter Five: "The Crash"

I got pregnant for a second time, moved 36 times in three years, partied my ass off (figuratively), drank booze, snorted coke, spent all my husband's and my income, had a baby girl, named her after a boy, saw "orbs" that were dead people, partied my ass off (figuratively), drank booze, snorted coke, found pennies that my dead dad sent me from heaven, neglected my kids, went to County Mental Health, and then rehab for three months.

Chapter Six: "The Recovery"

My husband filed for divorce. I'm homeless, so I moved into the house of my producer, fight every day to NOT party my ass off (figuratively), drink booze, and snort coke. I see my kids a couple of times a week, have no real future since I threw away all I had in exhange for the freedom to party my ass off (figuratively), drink booze, and snort coke.

MY ADVICE: Your life will be significantly improved if you say NO to: Partying your ass off (figuratively), drinking booze, and snorting coke. I've learned the hard way. But I'm a better person for it.

The End.

I must tell you people what LT is really like, as I have had personal experience. I visited him at the studio when he was engaged to the gal before this one. He invited me in to his office to watch him. Then he asked me if I would like a tour, to which I said, of course. We went into a room where there was a gal working and he asked her to leave for a minute. Then he proceeded to close the door and lean against it so no one could come in. He then unzipped his pants and whipped it out and asked me to give him a "BJ". I was beyond shocked to say the least, I barely knew the guy! I am a mother of a friend of his!!! Well, I went back into the studio and Jeff, Jer and Laura all looked at me as though they knew what had happened, so I am sure this was not his first try at this! I left and have never spoken to him again. And, no he did not get his "BJ". From me anyway. And, by the way, now I know why they call him "little" Tommy................. So, Elton, defend these people all you want, but they are all creeps. Jeff had an affair with Nina when he was married, and so when Nina did to him, I thought "what goes around comes around". And we all know Jer is a perv. I have seen him at parties and he cannot keep his eyes off of women's breasts, even in front of Pam! So here's to the Jeff and Jer show!

Long time lurker, first time poster. I wasn't surprised at all when I read this story because the same thing happened to my friend at FH's house when he was married. During a Jingle Ball party FH & she went upstairs and she ended up locked in his master bathroom and a bunch of us had to break the pocket door on the bathroom to get her out! She wasn't as smart as you and she obliged him because he was a BIG DEAL. He's a horrible person. He admitted it during the divorce to another friend while standing in line at a bank in PQ because he wanted to "clear his concience."

On another note and another show, Rick and Laura have had their little fling a few years back. I walked in on them kissing at a station Christmas Party. That LBM sure gets around. I remember her being with Chris Cantore too. That was a huge scandal and DC forbid her to be around him. I wonder when he finally figured out her tryst with FH. I'm sure he gets it now that she's moved in with him.

So, they are already working on stuff well into 2008? Their "Best of Jeff and Jer" tapes? I don't think they even know the meaning of fun anymore. What can they possibly have in store for us? Any ideas?

P.S. Tommy, stop bitching about your snoring. If you lost some weight (in THIS reality, not the one you live in), you'd probably sleep better at night and not snore so much. Nice of him to seem so concerned about his business associate and her sleep though.

Perhaps the finest 87 words ever penned....
from Christina Georgina Rossetti....I learned in 1972!

I sang this song as a young man in high-school choir. It meant so little at the time.

Six years later, in a Poetry class in college, I was exposed to the poem below.....it is a tribute to the strength of life and the dismissal of death by the departed....

I am sorry for your loss......

"When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget."

2) Only show concern for themselves.

1.) Dom Portwood: Hi, Peter. What's happening? We need to talk about your TPS reports.
Peter Gibbons: Yeah. The coversheet. I know, I know. Uh, Bill talked to me about it.
Dom Portwood: Yeah. Did you get that memo?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah. I got the memo. And I understand the policy. And the problem is just that I forgot the one time. And I've already taken care of it so it's not even really a problem anymore.
Dom Portwood: Ah! Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. All right!

2) And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...

I freaking LOVE OfficeSpace! Thanks for that, it made me smile. Sometimes it is just hard to want to continue doing a good job when you feel like it's you against everyone else, and your boss doesn't respond to your emails. I have to work Thanksgiving night, which is fine. But I requested the day after Thanksgiving off and never heard back. So, I have to cancel plans to host my family for dinner. :( I'm just frustrated. :) Thanks for making me smile.

IF YOUR BOSS DOESN'T RESPOND TO E-MAILS.....HE'S NOT A "BOSS."

If you make a request and get no response.....your company lacks professionals -- they have "workers," but no professionals.

I suggest the following memo to "corporate" bosses:

"You suck. You're over-rated, over-paid and lack a moral compass.

You're the epitome of 'worse than worthless.'

Your workers make YOU. You could fall off the planet tomorrow (I wish) and no one would notice your being gone for three weeks.

I've worked in your world for 25 years....you are as stupid now as you were then."

P.S.

You may wish to avoid adding a signature to the aforementioned memo.

Thursday November 15, 2007 8:30pm:
Friday, November 16, 2007 at 9:00am

Thursday November 15, 2007 8:30pm: Well, I’m home with Eddie just hanging out. Eddie was skateboarding with Chip and Charlie and had a great time in the front on the ramps. Today, when we were at Willy’s Workshop in PQ, which is a skateboard shop, I noticed right next to his shop was a NUTRITION STORE, so I walked in. I told the person at the counter that I was just curious about the place and said I did some walking and hiking for most of the year, but I took breaks from time to time and I just did the 3 day last weekend and I was wanting to lose weight and wondered if there was anything I could take that wasn’t BAD for me. Well the first thing that comes to mind is to STOP EATING CRAP, and the second thing that comes to mind is to do actual exercise...but what do I know? I've only lost 35 lbs doing it on my own without any outside help. Pills aren't the answer. Supplements aren't the answer. Less intake, more output. It really is that simple and no creative math needed.

She recommended a thing called CL5 and a thing called HIGH FIVE or something like that. She told me this would burn fat and would energize me. She said this would be perfect. I took a sample of it and it WIRED ME OUT big time. I just did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, and did laundry AND now I’m ready to shave and clean the bathrooms. I’m not kidding. This is not good, but I’m wired in a big way.
I am thinking about washing my car tonight and maybe pulling some weeds in the backyard of a neighbors home. Oh good, my car needs to be detailed, my windows all need washing and frankly the rugs could use a nice deep cleaning. Where do I sign up for "Services by Tommy" ?

Tomorrow and the next few days to weeks to the end of this year is jam packed. I need to make time with Michelle to have some ALONE TIME or DOWN TIME where it’s just us and my kids and her kids and we’re just relaxing. If this isn't happening every single day...then truly, you have no concept of how to conduct a relationship. Even 5 minutes alone each day makes a difference. Geeze, you've only been together since July and you already can't find the time to be together? PRIORITIES.

Tomorrow is Kelly Clarkson and I’m taking a bunch of kids to that and Saturday we’re taking even more children to Disneyland after the walks and hikes. Here's a thought...a happy hello to Ms. Clarkson and then kill the trip to Disneyland and spend some family time AT HOME. TOGETHER.

I just wanted to say hello and good night to you before I went to bed, but after drinking that CL5 thing, I’m thinking about changing the oil in my car and rotating the tires. See above. I have an 06 Mazda. It'll be parked in front of the station at whatever time you tell me, for an oil change, tire roation and complete detailing. Thanks. Luv ya, mean it.

Good night!

Yeah, I'm a donor coordinator for tissue/eye donation. It's a really rewarding job, but sometimes (like with any job) you kind of get the dirty end of the stick. I love speaking with the families and helping to support them during their difficult times. I love that the work I do helps to save lives and create better lives for people. It's pretty awesome!

I wonder if he can even fit on the Matterhorn??? Is there a ride called Big Deal Fathead Thunder Mountain? Cool, This will be my first spy mission for the DC. I'll let you know on Monday.

I used to work with them and took a job with another station. After seeing FH written up twice for sexual harassment and watching the rest of them self destruct I knew I had to make a change. Now I have friends who are still in the midst of the chaos and fill me in on their illicit doings and we are never surprised.

Even the quickie engagement wasn't a surprise to anyone. Geez look at the guy! If a girl goes out with him twice he's buying her the moon because he's one of those people that has to have a woman in his life. That's why he bought the car wash girl the car so she would stay around. I heard he even bought off her little brother. Now he's doing the same thing with Mooch. It's just a matter of time. His eyes are already wandering. It's true about the promotions staff. They are all disgusted with him. He'd better stand back or he'll have another sexual harassment suit against him.

When we were at 100.7 he even took an employee that didn't even like him to Greece because the car wash girl broke off their engagement. What kind of a loser is going to go on a cruise with a girl who doesn't like him, cooped up in a tiny cabin for a week who just broke up with his fiance two weeks prior? After the cruise it was a big joke because she got a free vacation compliments of FH and she never spoke to him again!

Did anyone hear Loser Laura's latest blunder this morning? She got a speeding ticket out in Indio (probably going to or from the crack house). It was over $1000 because she was going so fast and had no proof of insurance! And then, she forgot about it until now when it's almost too late! She was trying to figure out how to get out of it (i.e. not take responsibility for her actions, as usual). Great example!

But then Jer{k} aka PIGwas talking, then there was a brief pause, LBM started to talk, Jer{k}interupted for a split second and then apologize to LBM and let her finish what she was saying!!!!

I really believe that Jer{k} is intimidated by Delana's superior intelligence and therefore, doesn't like her.

I couldn't agree more. The other day I listened for about five minutes until I could no longer stand it. They were going on about the 5 things they wanted to do in life, or something like that. Jeff (and Jer) belittled Delana on hers, and even didn't let her finish! She must be soooo disgusted with them.

Has anyone on this forum emailed her to let her know we think she's the only intelligent, decent, interesting, thoughtful, ( insert twenty more positive attributes here) person on the "show"? And does she know about this thread?

Laura is one of those who should just hire an attorney and keep them on retainer to clean up after her many spills. She probably should also hire a bookkeeper to pay her bills on time, too. I bet those are a day late and a dollar short all the time, too.

In reality, the whole ticket thing isn't that big a deal, I'm sure all of us frequently go over 90 on our ways through Indio. It's a speed and fine trap...it's the dumbest thing to make not carrying proof of ins. a crime like that...like they couldn't just check it out online with the registration, right? And like having a piece of paper proves you are current with your policy. Bogus. I can hardly believe she had her registration with her...another bogus ticketable offense, in mybook.

So all the ticket stuff, is two bit time stuff to me. It's her reaction to it that stymies me. She spends SOOO Much time running hard and catching up because she doesn't take care of business on time. While most of us get in the crooked road every now and again, she seems to be spending all her time there, and not ever realizing that there is another way to live. Like when she mentioned the other day how she didn't own anything...like a computer...she just flits through life and at age 40, how much of living in the moment can a gal survive? Does she run out of gas in her car all the time?

And that probably explains a lot of her wierd diet for her kids...oh, look. It's 10:00 pm at nite! you guys want dinner? Ok, let's get in the car and go to 7/11!!! Pick out anything you want from the snack aisle!!

SDGIrl87, have you thought of soliciting Laura to be her personal asst? That would be more than a fulltime job.

Rowdy, re: Delana...I think she knows about her situation there on the show, and she loves what she does, and doesn't get into the drama of all that. I've always been impressed that she seems to even have fairly cordial relationships with all the show people...has been very nice to Laura on several occasions. I think she just has a level head on her shoulders, and doesn't let their out of whack egos get to her. She also seems to have a great circle of friends (and no, I don't know her personally, so I am not tapping my own back here) just form who she came up with as her "lifelines" for the Millionaire show. Very grounded, down to earth real people who make differences in the world.

I agree - the speeding ticket isn't that serious - we all have or could've been given on at some point. What's bad is her total lack of organization and follow through. What's bad is that she did not have proof of insursnce with her - especially on a long trip. Too lazy to put it in the glove box? Too lazy to pay the bill? What's bad is her attempt to find a loop hold to get out if it and avoid respobsibility. Me, me, me. She is irresponsible and unreliable - two ingredients for a bad paren:stupid: t and spouse. Laura - there is no "me" in "loser."

She spends SOOO Much time running hard and catching up there's a song that I love called Running Just To Catch Myself...and that's exactly what it's all about. We run and run just to keep up with ourselves rather than realizing that we do NOT have to live that way! because she doesn't take care of business on time. While most of us get in the crooked road every now and again, she seems to be spending all her time there, and not ever realizing that there is another way to live. Like when she mentioned the other day how she didn't own anything...like a computer...did that bother anyone else? The woman has not one stick of furniture and her first concern is for a computer?? I started over on my own at 27 after my own divorce and took care of the priorities...furniture, dishes, pans...THEN I got a computer.she just flits through life and at age 40, how much of living in the moment can a gal survive? Does she run out of gas in her car all the time? Oops, that happened to me for the first time ever a few months ago while I was driving the Grapevine. :( SHHHHHHHHHHH

SDGIrl87, have you thought of soliciting Laura to be her personal asst? That would be more than a fulltime job.Trust me, she couldn't afford me...cause the amount it would take for me to take on THAT train wreck is more than all of them combined could afford. I'd like to keep what little sanity and structure in my life that I have left, intact. Besides, I'm trying hard to have a real life outside of work. AFTER shoving a golf club somewhere creative into his body. Afterall, my time is worth SOMETHING, as are my affections. Just gross. Gross gross gross.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

We girls don't ask for much. Tenderness. Romance. Security. Attention. Don't be perfect...just be perfect for "me" (the me of course being each woman!) Please though, don't toy with our affections and for heaven's sake, don't harass some other woman and expect us to understand. We won't.

LBM is complaining in her diary that she has to buy a fridge for the rental house in Talmadge. Considering how much money she *should* have, why would that be an issue? And if you could afford one like she can, why wouldn't you want a nice, clean, new fridge instead of someone else's crappy one?

Why is she still renting instead of buying anyway? She should be able to afford a mortgage if I can. That transient way of thinking = addict.

And that she took her kids to see the place -- weird. My mom and dad never took us to see houses to get our opinions. But, oh yeah, they were responsible adults and could make decisions on their own.

Laura's Diary - November 16th, 2007
Friday, November 16, 2007 at 1:15pm

Dear Diary,

Charlie, Ev and I looked at that house in Talmadge yesterday afternoon. It was really cool, old-style, hardwood floors, little weird nooks and crannies and a big ol' backyard. The owners of the house were outside with us when Charlie says to me "Momma, you know those wires that you hang off and slide down? We can attached one of those to the wall here and attach the other end to that fence over there and we can slide up and down real fast."

I just looked over at the lady and said, "Ah, Charlie, you're such a funny little jokester. Silly boy."

In my head I'm thinking "Hmmm…sounds kinda fun."

I have a problem with the place, though. It has no refrigerator and no washer/dryer. I'm okay buying my own washer/dryer because those are appliances that I'll need eventually when I get my own house, but the fridge? Don't you think that's a little lame? I really don’t think I should have to buy a fridge for the place. Maybe I've been out of the rental loop for too long.

Evan was super cute. She walked into the big room and held out her arms and twirled around and said, "We can put all the beds in here. All of them! Here and here and here!"

Charlie said, "No Evan, this is the playroom. The TV goes here, electronics here and in this corner….ah…well….you can put your Barbie stuff." Electronics? What's this kid talking about?

They spent the majority of the time playing with the old-school mail slot. You know the one where you slip the mail in the slot and it ends up inside behind a little door? That really made them crazy with excitement. The mail slot alone would satisfy any specific must-haves those sweet babies need in a new home.

This weekend, we continue the Cain Hotel Tour 2007. This time we're hanging in Coronado Saturday night! Maybe I should think about balancing out our hotel stays with tent camping. Do I need to provide this balance in my kids' lives?

Naahhhhh…..

See you tomorrow, Diary.

Her credit is probably not good enough to get a mortgage.

As far as taking her kids...I don't really see an issue with it. Now, asking her kids if this is THE ONE is one thing. That is not a decision that they should make. But taking them along to look and comment, why the heck not?

I love when people say "well my parents did this, or my parents did that." That's wonderful. That doesn't mean we should all do things the way our parents did. My mom whipped me with a belt. I was not a bad kid, she was not a bad mom. But, I know that I don't need to whip my children. There ARE other ways of doing things.

I don't think I would have an issue with her taking her kids along househunting....if she spent a gob more time with them. But it seems like this is in lieu of entertainment like taking them to a movie...or other "Britney Spears-ish: kind of past times. Like she doesn't really know how to interact with them unless there are some kind of props or attention grabbing video devices around.

I'll give her a green pass card if she has narrowed her choices down to maybe three possibilities...and is letting the kids have a little say in which she chooses. But this hotel fetish she has...wierd. Like she is trying to wow her kids. Wonder if she will continue to do the hotel tours after she gets a rental.

Her whining about the refrig cracked me up.

Wabbit, I agree...she doesn't do have enough activity of other sorts with them and definitely lacks in the parenting department.

Do HoHo's and Cupcakes need to go in a fridge? All she really needs is a freezer for the Ice Cream.

Nothing says model parenting like letting your 7 year old assess the structural integrity of a building for the installment of a zip-line.

How long before she and the kids are piling all the cushions from the couch onto the front yard and jumping onto them from the roof? She's so fun! I wish she were MY mom!

I wonder if this is less expensive than the little baggies and straws he's used to?

---------------

:stupid:

Wow!

I'm always surprised at what people know or find out.

I just heard that Rick Moorten is a big fan of the APEX site too. I'm sure they all read. It's funny to me that the cat's (or is it the pig) out of the bag.... if you know what I mean!

I didn't find out about the sexual harassment issues until my attorney did the research during the divorce. It's amazing how many skeletons fell out of FH's closet that year. LOL

Always nice to read you, Amused. It seems pretty clear to me that they read this site, because you can see our comments reflected in their blog/diary entries. Unfortunately, like the sun through the clouds, their social ineptitude shines through all of their attempts to seem more mature/normal.

Who in their right mind would ever rent to LBM? Good Lord! Hope they have insurance. God only knows what the "recovering" addict would do to that place.

Vomit----No icon either.
I get amazed at times when I hear things or read things pertaining to this few hours of each weekday. I drive out the Palm Springs way on the 10 quite frequently and it is easy to get up tom 90 or above and not know it, but then you quickly correct yourself and get back to the normal traffic flow speed. The insurance and proof and registration are always in the glove an up to date. She is an ID-10-T to be that muddle headed.
As far as renting---Imagine the poor landlord that will have to try to collect a monthly rent from her.....I mean, she drives up in a nice BMW X5, flashes her ass"ets" and wants a place. Sign here says the blind man. She's probably been told not to buy until AFTER the finalization of the Divorce since her money may be involved.
I bet there are many "insiders" to the morning spewgram that come her to read and "post". This is their vent pages after they endure what goes on at that station.
As I said before in a previous post, in the radio biz...for a guy, is to get as much tail as you can. You have all these callers to "screen" and the odds of gettin lucky are high, especially for the MO of and FH type. Look at how he snagged the Mooch. Read her "Secret" link that was posted earlier. Hmmm

Wow, these Spewgram folk seem to be getting worse! Laura trying to get out of a ticket and then almost forgetting to pay it? If it were me, I would be sick about it and having to pay a large sum would piss me off. Own up to it, Laura! Take responsibility. I know it's a long word, but sheesh.

Then there's FH and doing a bunch of walks and going to Disneyland. Wasn't the Knotts fiasco enuf for him? Not to mention that everyone will be tired and grouchy after walking so go to a theme park with crowds and that spells disaster. Heaven forbid these people do anything that involves staying home as a (dysfunctional) family and NOT spending tons of money? I am sure Dave loves the condition in which the kids come back from Hotel de Whora.

The fridge prob is solved....doesn't an ice bucket or wine decanter count?

Wabbitsd
11-16-2007, 02:06 PM
I'm sure FH got comp'd tix for Didneyland, as well as a stay in one of the hotels. It's that season...D-Land does a lot of promotion at this time.

He could also own a membership in the Hotel of the Month Club like LBM does. nothing says "family" like hauling off to a string of hotels to try to fake like there's a home somewhere for these kids. Room Service, Maid Service, entertainment like movie rentals and video arcades...

IZZY
11-16-2007, 02:06 PM
Isn't it interesting that LBM is doing the hotel tour? I think this is the third weekend in a row where she has had the kids that they have stayed at a hotel. Is it possible that Dave told her she wasn't allowed to have the kids sleep at FH's house anymore? OR maybe her attorney told her this when he/she also told LBM she needed to look for a home for court reasons. Yes,LBM you need to get yourself a home (which you should have done this months ago). Kids need stability. A child is not being provided stability, structure,or safety by being moved from one hotel/fun house to another each time they stay with their mother. UNBELIEVABLE!

It's possible Dave did some demanding, but I think it's more about her wanting to be waited on herself, and being able to call to the desk to make people bring you whatever you need...and to use up all the payola offered by the various hotels and entertainment outlets.

Okay....I admit it!!! I might be a bad parent by some of your standards. I am a single Mom with a 19yr old, a 15yr old and a 9yr old. I had the kids go with me when we were looking at condos to buy in 4S Ranch. After I made the choice of which one to buy the 2 older kids took turns going with me to choose the options. Now, all 3 of my kids and my self are very creative. It was great finding out what they like. I always had the final choice.

Whora should have got a place of her own months ago but she was too busy taking in everyones pity party on her and she liked it.

On her "Tour de hotel 2007 tour", she probably gets comp'd all the rooms as she is Ms Big Deal San Diego. She probably hands the concierge a list to make sure room service delivers Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and ice cream to the kids. That way she didn't "forget" to feed them. Same with the hotel laundry service. They have orders to get each child at a certain time, bath them and make sure that fresh clothes are on them, then their dirty clothes are sent to the hotel dry cleaners, billed to the room, which in turn is billet to the comp'd check..along with the food.
Now, LBM doesn't want to leave the FH house, but Mooch most likely read her the riot act saying that there was only room for one blonde (sorry bout that to you respectable blondes)at the FH....I mean Mooch estates or Tommy's playhouse.
Too bad LBM just didn't keep driving east on the 10 and never looked back.....

Elton
11-16-2007, 03:17 PM
Taking advantage of comps and being waited on sounds pretty darn good to me, so can't blame LBM there. But it's not healthy for the kids overall. The instability is awful, as is that Shangri-la kind of lifestyle.

Izzy, I hadn't thought about Dave saying the kids can't sleep at FH's as a reason for the hotel tour, but that makes perfect sense. I wouldn't want my kids at that cesspool.

First - DirtyBlindGurl - I'm so sorry! My thougths & prayers are with you & your family (and the dogs!)

FH is worse then a pig. what that would be? I have no idea. *vomit*

Whora - Shut up, be a freaking ADULT for once & rent a place. If you dont; want to buy a freaking fridge, then look at other places! Seems to me that she's trying to get into a place VERY quickly, so she can show how grown upo & responsible she is. I hope whoever she rents from get's the rent deducted automatically. I think we all know she's not been saving her $ since living at FH house. She's been "blowing" it on Lord knows what.

How can FH have TWO sexual harrassment write ups an still have a freaking job???

The End.

Awesome as always Jake!! no PRICELESS... but where is the dedication and to who? Cracky & Boozy? Boozy & Horey?

Saturday November 17, 2007 6am
Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 3:13pm

Saturday November 17, 2007 6am: I’m sitting here at home feeling a little bummed because I just missed going to Iron Mountain. REASON: TOO MANY CHILDREN here at the house and it just doesn’t feel right to be gone for a few hours. Laura has her kids, Michelle has her daughter, and I have my two plus 2 more, so it just seems as if we need to be here this morning.

I am going to Torrey Pines right after this.

Last night, Kelly Clarkson was okay. I respect her, but FORD was the host and it just didn’t feel like a “radio hosted event”. The people in charge last night were from Detroit, so I just didn’t feel myself when it came to hanging out and seeing her backstage or “side stage”….The kids loved meeting her and she hugged us all, but they seemed to be texting all night long during the show rather than listening to her music.

You know the Van Halen/Tree Lighting thing? Well, I don’t feel good about the way the decision to just go to Van Halen happened. Valerie Bertinelli “MIGHT” fill in for me at the tree lighting, but if she can’t then I will have to do both the tree and the rock show. I just feel that I’m letting myself down by blowing off the Old Globe, even if it doesn’t really matter if I am there or not. The way I feel, is that I said YES TO THEM and regardless if I can get someone “better” or if I simply just don’t go seems morally wrong. I would love to start partying with Jerry at 4 or 5pm for Van Halen, but the partying might have to be a little later.

Speaking of partying and drinking: I had a drink last night, A REAL DRINK and it was nice to have it and all that, but honestly, I just don’t want to drink anymore. I don’t know what happened but I just have a bad taste for booze all of a sudden. I’d rather have days and days of not drinking a thing and working on that milestone rather than relaxing with a glass of wine with someone. Not sure what happened to make me so “anti-glass of wine or beer”…..I do feel more bummed out this morning that I had a glass vodka/cranberry last night, I didn’t even finish the glass.

You know? I think I’m in a grumpy mood for a few reasons. I haven’t been sleeping well and I’m just really pissed off at a few things. I’m mad about a few office stuff to a few things here at home.

It’s kind of funny how I’m basically saying I’m in a bad mood. I’m actually smiling and laughing and shaking my head about my feelings right now. The walk at Iron Mountain would of helped me out big time this morning.

Maybe I should try to sleep for an hour or two before Torrey Pines. If I don’t do Torrey Pines this morning, then something is really wrong.

Poor little tommy...he's feeling sorry for himself I think. As for saying, "....I will have to do both the tree and the rock show."...how about not doing either. I have a great nomination for the tree lighting event if they want someone important. My suggestion would be Mattie, the original inspiration for Tommy doing the whole 3 day...and the person he hasn't mentioned at all since.

I thought Whora was going take the hotel field trip with the kids this weekend?

Hi BigAl. I'm not sure where everyone else is. I went Christmas shopping with Mom and then took a terrific nap because I'm sick :(

Seems like the boards and chat room have been quite quiet over the last few days! Life has a way of happening, doesn't it?

Boy do I wish I had the money or the time for a hotel stay!! Spent the day with a migraine.. good thing my husband went to play golf at North Island while I prayed the migraine went bye bye... SDGirl87..oh I remember the days going Christmas shopping with my mom downtown Milwaukee.. Gimbles.. Shusters and then going for lunch on the top floor of Gimbles.. no we almost always couldn't afford it (lunch out was rare but she knew how to pinch those pennies! ) but then mom had a good friend who was "always our waitress!" and I always got a hot fudge sundae.. I still remember they were ONLY. .50. oh the days..

Awwwwwwww Califbrat....you sure can. EVERYONE loves my Mom. She has so many "kids" she probably can't name them all! My best friend has decided to leave her own family and be adopted into mine...lol.

I treasure every second with her. That's why I went out with her today even though I feel so horribly yucky! Didn't want to miss that time together :)

..Laura's hotel tour

Hmm, a "tour........ maybe a three hour tour........"

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale
A tale about radio,
It started off in different states,
Maryland and Ohio.

Now Jeff’s young voice was like a man,
And Jerry’s not as pure,
The two men heard the siren’s song, San Diego had allure.

San Diego had allure.

Let’s dump first wives , let's dump the kids,
Here’s a chance for us to move,
We head west to become new men,
We ‘re a big deal that’s for sure!

We’re a big deal that’s for sure!

The show is set on 94.1
We’re known around the dial,

With Jeff And Jer,
and a nerd nearby,
A normal girl,
and Davecain’s wife.
A sad fathead
makes us big stuff,
all here on Jeff & Jer’s isle!

Part two:

So this is the tale of a poor Showgram,
They pretend for a long, long time
They know how to make the best of things,
Their lies are an uphill climb.

The hypocrite and his gay partner
Will do their very best,
To make others uncomfortable,
Even if they do their best.

No cures! No morals!
No thoughts are our’s!
Not a single way to be.
Like Jeff when he pontificates,
He never says “It’s me!”

So join us here each day my friends,
You’re sure to get a smile, from seven loser castaways,
on …the ….J & J… isle!

I am sure you have heard of this list of questions from "Inside The Actors Studio." How would members of the Spewgram answer them? (I'm not feeling particular witty because my neck is cramping due to trying to read my computer screen through the bottom part of my bifocals. I'll take an easy one)

Randy:

1. What is your favorite word? Debbie

2. What is your least favorite word? Each and every one uttered by my coworkers in the morning.

3. What turns you on [creatively, spiritually, emotionally]? Mom's home cooking. It's hard to get cling peaches out of the can so neatly.

4. What turns you off? Hearing the words, "Randy, dear, it is time for your little friend Debbie to go home now. It's almost bedtime."

5. What is your favorite curse word? Horsefeathers!

6. What sound or noise do you love? Mom yelling, "Dinner's ready!"

7. What sound or noise do you hate? Laura's braying.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Being a D.J. (Don't worry, I'll get a gig as soon as I get my giggling under control.)

9. What profession would you not like to do? Be Tommy's manservant. Oh, wait, I alread am.

10. If Heaven exists what would God say to you at the Pearly Gates? "Your mom can't wait to see you!"

Poor Tummy, those darned kids just get in his way. He's missing out on having his followers worship at his feet at those walks. Why does he have to be a responsible adult and put his kids first before his needs/wants 2 times a week and sometimes one when other pressing matters (Iron/Torrey Pines walks, yoga, Van Halen concerts, Moochelle) get in the way? Clearly these are much more rewarding than spending quality time with his kids. They will only grow up one day and FH will realize that it's too late to be the dad he should have been to them. Not that he has an inkling of what it means to be one.

Saturday November 17, 2007 6am:
Last night, Kelly Clarkson was okay. I respect her, but FORD was the host and it just didn’t feel like a “radio hosted event”. The people in charge last night were from Detroit, so I just didn’t feel myself when it came to hanging out and seeing her backstage or “side stage”….
How sad..... FH didn't get to be Mr. Big Shot. No one knew who he was or cared! If it was a “radio hosted event”, everyone would've catered to his every need & let him sexually harrass all the women there.

You know? I think I’m in a grumpy mood for a few reasons. I haven’t been sleeping well and I’m just really pissed off at a few things. I’m mad about a few office stuff to a few things here at home.
Maybe because you don't sleep in your own bed? Me thinks FH is sick of Whora in his home. She's probably not paying any type of rent, buying groceries, cleaning, or giving him any favors (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN). We can only HOPE he's gettnig called on his shady crap at work!

My thoughts EXACTLY!! He was a nobody there, and he didn't like it! He couldn't put his ego aside and just enjoy a fun event with his kids. Thats too bad, because those events are the things that they will remember, and they will remember that their wannabe big shot dad acted like an ass. Tommy, take some midol and get over it!

Who wants to bet that he didn't go on the walk today because he was hung over? I bet he didn't just have a portion of one vodka and cranberry juice. He's left his kids and their friends and the rest of the freakshow at home while he's walked countless times. What is the real reason he didn't walk?

Dear CoWorker,

You do not need to talk during every moment of silence that we have during our shift. I do not want to hear about 3/4 of the crap you talk about. We sit here for 12 hours in the middle of the night, and the best part shift is when I'm in the bathroom because I don't have to hear you <usually>. Thank God this baby sits on my bladder and makes me have to go often! When I'm not responding to you, take a clue and stop talking to me! When I get up and leave the room, don't follow me. When I tell you I have to get my work done and cannot talk with you, stop talking! Don't stand next to the bathroom door and talk through it while I'm in there. Sometimes I dread working with you because you are crazy and you talk all of the freaking time. It bugs the hell out of me when you talk in different accents. You are not Asian, from the South, or a 3 year old, so stop talking that way! It is weird that you talk that way to me, extra strange that you talk to nurses and families that way.

I do not want to hear about how much you love your "sweet darling man" of a husband, where and when your child was conceived (living room floor 9 am on a Tuesday), how long you breast fed her, how your labor was. I don't want to hear you talk about how your dog takes your dirty undies out of the laundry and sleeps with them. I don't want to hear about your llamas, or that you dressed them up and took them trick or treating on Halloween! I don't care that you and your husband don't share bank accounts, that he's cashing out his retirement to quit working for 6 months <idiot>, or that your oldest daughter lives in a shed in your back yard (oh and by the way, that is not elegant!). I don't want to hear that you got married at a nudist colony and that your child (also naked) was your maid of honor because I think that is weird. I don't care that you are allergic to MSG, or that you've suddenly developed all of these new food allergies now that you mom and brother have been diagnosed with them. I DON'T CARE! I could go on and on about the garbage that you say. We're not friends, you are old enough to be my mom, so stop trying to offer me "bedroom" advice. Please stop talking to me!

Ok, I feel better.
No, you do NOT feel better. You feel "relieved."

But the problem wil never go away until you learn to speak an internal dialogue that repeats, "Irrelevant, boring, boring,
boring,...irrelevant..."

The problem is, you work with someone who thinks the things they say are important. They are NOT!!!!!!

The things we DO matter --- the things we say, bore the SH*T out of people.

You're co-worker assumes she is connected because she speaks.

WRONG! -- We are only connected if someone else LISTENS!!

GirlfromOR
11-17-2007, 11:13 PM
Exactly! I don't speak for the purpose of hearing my own voice, so I don't understand the allure of having a one sided conversation. I try to tune her out, but sometimes when you don't answer she comes and stands right next to you or talks louder. She's crazy! Her parenting reminds me a lot of Whora's.

Sunday November 18, 2007 1:11am: Yes, I did do Torrey Pines Saturday morning and the walk cleared my mind and being around my friends (formerly known as the regulars) made that walk a real special one. I got me in a great mood and it set the tone for the rest of the day which happened to be at Disneyland. We didn’t get to Disneyland until 2:50pm. Michelle was nice enough to let me sleep while she drove us all. I remember going up the 15 to get some kids in Temecula that were friends with my kids and then I remember hitting the 91 and then BOOM, we were there and I had a good hour of sleep and I felt great.

We basically stayed in California Adventure for the most part. What I loved about Disneyland yesterday was how the kids ALL OF THEM just got along. It was cool to see Eddie and Vanessa and Sydnie and Zack just have a good time. That right there was what it’s all about. If you’re kids are ALL having a good time, then something is going right.

DOWN TIME: I have been put under strict fiancé orders to have DOWN TIME in my life or our lives. I have so much to do that every hour or every day is used to work on the show and to work on personal projects. Michelle put me on the highest level of fiancé orders to JUST KICK BACK. If I can kick back and not do anything and maybe take a nap or sleep in, my world would be that much better. You know what? She’s right.

I’m just with Eddie now. He’s having a great weekend. Tomorrow, if he wakes up, I’m taking Eddie to Cowles Mountain by 7:45. If he doesn’t, then my down time begins at that very moment and I just kick back on Sunday and enjoy some football and then down to Chula Vista to hang with my mom for a few hours.

Well, we just got back by the way from Disneyland. It’s late OR early: However you want to look at it.

Hey Amused... in FH's blob today he talked about their trip to DisneyLand and how much fun all the kids had together (Eddie and Vanessa and Sydnie and Zack). He always makes their outings sound so Brady Bunch-ish, then we get the real scoop from you. If you don't mind sharing, was their "family" outing as idyllic as he made it sound?

Jake, thanks for the hilarious song; I'll be humming it all day.
Sapphie -- classic line -- "hiking up skirts" very funny.

Oregon Chica, so sorry you have to endure your co-worker. But I laughed for 10 minutes thinking about her and how awful it must be. I SWEAR I worked with her in Ireland. With the exception of the nudist colony (too cold and damp) I'd swear it was the same woman. Once my husband (who at the time was my fiance) came to pick me up at work and when he didn't make out with me in front of the entire office when he saw me, she told me that it didn't bode well for a happy marriage because he was not "romantical" enough. Another time she used the word "laxative" for "lax" and these are the things that keep me laughing, 20 years later and 5000 miles away.
