Pretty much my favorite bubble-head in the world:
[Allegedly posted in a radio personality's Diary]
While on vacation, I also watched a boat-load of TV….too much TV! I mean, all I have in my house is a bed and a TV, so what's a girl supposed to do…unpack? Heck no. TV seemed like the answer. I watched at least 3 full cycles of America's Next Top Model on VH1. I watched three documentaries about morbidly obese people. I watched the Intervention marathon on New Year's Eve…and the CSI:Miami marathon the day after. I watched a bunch of Cold Cases and The First 48. I also have a new favorite show…it's called "Paranormal State!" I love it. It's about a bunch of students from Penn State who investigate hauntings and such. It's great! I think I need a new book to read. I finally finished Beach Music. It was hard to get through that one. I didn't love it. Someone suggested the book, "The Power of Now." Maybe I'll grab that.

The first is one that my mom always made, and calls for mayonnaise [Miracle Whip]. The second I SWAER by [the moistest cake you have ever had].
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
$300 Chocolate Cake
2 cups Flour
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Cocoa
2 teaspoons Baking Soda
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Cold Water
1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Combine dry ingrediants, mixing or sifting well. To this combination add mixture of salad dressing, water and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 mins.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Death Defying Thigh Destroying Cake
Cake:
1 Package Betty Crocker® Yellow Cake Mix
1 Package Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
1 Cup Salad Oil
4 Eggs
¼ Cup Vodka
¼ Cup Frangelico
½ Cup Water
Icing:
2/3 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
¼ Cup Butter
1 Cup Sifted Powdered Sugar
1 Teaspoon Frangelico
Chopped Hazelnuts (optional)
Cake:
Sift together cake mix and pudding mix. Combine with salad oil, eggs, vodka, Frangelico, and water. NOTE: Batter will be thick. Spoon into greased Bundt pan. Bake in 325º oven for 45 to 55 minutes.
Icing:
In small saucepan, combine chocolate chips, cream, and butter. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer into a small bowl and cool for 15 minutes. Gradually add powdered sugar and Frangelico and beat well. Drizzle over cake while warm and garnish with nuts if desired.
NOTE: You can substitute liquor or cake flavoring as desired as long as you maintain the above amounts. I.e. you could use Crème de Menthe in lieu of Frangelico in the above recipe and have a “chocolate mint” cake. Or you could use Triple Sec liquor and white cake mix for an “orange flavored” cake.

1 teaspoon chopped Garlic
1 cup Half-n-half
¾ pound Bacon (cooked and chopped)
½ cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 Green Onions (chopped)
Peel and dice potatoes and boil until done (approx. 10 minutes). Drain. Meanwhile, cook bacon and chop onions.
Melt margarine in skillet and sauté onion until tender. Take one cup of water and add two tablespoons of flour in a jar and shake. Add this mixture to the butter/onions. It will make a roux; keep it moving over low heat.
Put drained potatoes in crockpot. Top with chopped bacon and onion mixture.
Combine chicken stock, one cup of water, half-n-half, potato flakes, salt, pepper and garlic.
Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.

Another long time lurker checking in. I've never had anything I felt was worth posting before, but after all the recent legal shennanigans, I just want to make sure I add to the DC numbers.
Shame on you Spewgram for trying to silence the disenters! For a spewgram that prides itself on being "part of the family," "as real as it gets," and "not holding anything back" you sure get bent out of shape when people start discussing the same fodder you're throwing out there. If you don't want people to talk about it, make fun of it, photoshop it, then don't put it out there!!! You can't have your cake and eat it too (or crack and smoke it....).
You can add me to the long list of former listeners who are disguested by the show, no longer listen, and will not partronize any known advertisers.
OK...stepping off soap box and back into lurkdom....

Well, "AprilShowers" convinced me to de-lurk. (No, I don't know her or him, but they did say for us lurkers to come out.) I have reading this thread for a LONG time now...over a year for sure. I used to listen to J&J since the early 90s. I thought they were so funny. Now? Not so much! Anyway, my family and I moved to RI three years ago and one day wondered about them so I googled and found this wonderful place. I have had a great time reading all the funny stuff you guys write about.
We are now back in San Diego (hubby is a Marine) and decided to listen again...except not. They are way too boring!
I have been wanting to "delurk" myself ever since you guys were giving out numbers. Then the whole "fiasco" with a certain Texan happened, and I was reluctant to do it. I remember reading that you guys were going to be very careful of who joins after Dec. But here I am. So please be gentle with me.
I am so happy to be part of the "club" now. :wavey2:
Okay...I will now go back to page 5 and read where I left off. I just wanted to introduce myself before there are even more pages! I always seem to be pages behind! I didn't even get to see the last 10 pages of the "other" thread. Boo hoo.

Helloooo baaaaaby! You can run, but you can hide from the Borisinator. Laura - the ultimate loser! Whoops, the "Biggest Loser" show might sue me now. If any of us just failed to show up at work, we'd be fired. She is an idiot. It just goes to show you that they are not as closer as they claim - they probably rarely talk off the air. It's all a sham. How do you just forget to show up for work - especially when her kids' school started on Monday??? It's interesting how Loser Laura does not mention Christmas or her kids in her latest diary. Very strange. And did anyone see Tummy's latest pictures of his New Year's Eve party - mostly a bunch of all cougars - Mooch included. She's got more leather on her face that Babe's Ruth's glove. It's like a well-aged scrotum. And what's up with her funky eye? Get a pirate patch girl!! I've seen her in person many times, and those pictures actually do her justice. Oh behave baby!:stupid:

Is it wrong to want to arrange the toothpicks in order of the color of the wood that is used meaning the darker shade of tan all of the way down to the lighter shade? I may need to consult webmd on this one. I first have to get permission to access the site and then share what I find. Oh bother, it is not worth it. Maybe I can find a "TA" meeting.

Hi Everyone, Another lurker reporting in! I found this site when I noticed Jeff wasn't mentioning Nina anymore...a few years ago? The events that followed turned me off, the superior attitudes, etc. I tune in now and again...kind of like slowing down to see an accident. And what an accident/train wreck it has been! You guys are great, and this board has been my morning show for a long time.

I really get the feeling Larua is clean and sober. Does she have her life together? HHHEELLLL NO, but I would be willing to put money on the fact that she is just one of those scaterbrained-never-has-her-stuff-together kinda people.
I hope you are right Carol. I would like to think that she is sober too. She was (allegedly) so excited about christmas w/ her kiddos, and then doesn't even mention it. It's just weird to me. Of course, we all know the things she chooses to post are pretty strange anyways. I really hope that she had a wonderful holiday with her kids and stayed clean.

Who's peeking out from under anonymous
Checking for names to PM and dare
Who's bending down to give us a threat
Everyone knows it's Wendy
Who's tripping down the streets of Mickey
Smiling at everybody he sees
Who's reaching out to capture a DCer
Everyone knows it's Wendy
And Wendy has shifty eyes
That flash at the sound of lies
And Windy has Paypal to fly
Above the clouds, above the clouds
Who's tripping down the threads of the DC
PMing at everybody he sees
Who's reaching out to capture a DCer
Everyone knows it's Wendy

Furthering the illness, when there was a really awful situation at my work...seriously, I was thinking one employee was going to come back in with a shotgun and take a few people out...he was really stressing over something, threw a book right past my head (not intending it to hit me, but even so...) and I calmly announced it was time for me to go on a long walk....I found a guy in a distant part of the company who had this huge pile of nuts, bolts, screws and washers...huge.
I sat there and sorted them, labeled the bins for him (alphabetically and by size of the items) and filled the whole thing up. Kept saying, "like things together, like things together..." and it was quite calming. He told me I was welcome any time....
Lysol!
My Mom used it as a disinfectant for us kids...like if you got a splinter in your foot, you soaked in lysol. It evidently was the cureall back in Indiana on the farm.
or there could be another explanation. My Mom and Dad also "forgot" me at a freeway gas station one time. Now, they had done it before once, but it was the dog. They figured it out fairly quickly and turned around and got him.
Me? They didn't know it til they got about an hour away....and had to call from a gas station to see if I was still there. I think they were trying to say something, I don't know for sure. PPCarl may be able to help me sue them for negligence or something, eh?

Mr. Mitchum did those commercials for some time before Mr. Elliot. Throughout the 90's I believe.

Confession time -- I am clean, but neither I, nor any of the three slobs who live here with me, nor my cat, could ever be considered neat. We don't live in squalor, but we live in clutter. Example -- my pantry is disorganized. My home filing cabinet has a big old drawer marked "stuff that we need to keep" and everything from tax returns to receipts is tossed in. My photos (prior to digital days) are in shoe boxes and are not labled, so anytime one of my kids asks if a baby picture is of them, I just say "Yep, that's you."
PLEASE come help me. I can't promise to help you, but I can promise to stay out of your way and sing Irish pub songs to you while you work. Then please come back a month later and fix it again because I won't have learned my lesson the first time. Then I promise to keep it tidy after that. i am living overseas and this thread has been my nightly entertainment since last summer. i almost croaked when i had to actually log in! keep up the fun posts! you guys are great!
i never did like the 'making fun of the kids'. i'm sure most people felt uncomfortable as well. sadly, when i first googled laura cain san diego rehab, a page came up with really awful things being said about her son. glad that seems to have died down. what kept me coming back was all of the witty reparte!
speaking of making fun of kids, has boris been back?

I swear (hand over heart), I'm not a freak but I'm so disgusted by germs that I disinfect my purell bottles with clorox wipes.
That's not weird. Many people disinfect clorex wipes with Sodium hypochlorite.
And then to be certain wipe that bottle with Haychlor, Tego 2000, Detizor, or Proceine 40 (which, of course as we all know contains Alkyl-amino-alkyl glycines.)
Oh heck...most Phenolics will suffice.
Oh...by the way...washing one's hands kind of helps.

I, (state your name), promise (ha ha...inside joke) that I will absolutely postively not post any information about any of the Spewgram(errr showgram)'s children, pets, phone numbers, or residences. The sequence you want is not, "Why are you behaving this way?"
It's:
1. "What are you doing?"
2. "What are the rules when we are in public?" (Of course, this means you must establish clear expectations and consequences when out in public).
This is a situation about "manners." And "manners" are NOT about how your kid behaves -- they are about your child's awareness of "others."
"You, my child, may NOT violate the rights of others!!!"
3. "What are the consequences when you break the rules?" (This means we have conversations with our kids BEFORE they break our rules.)
4. "Is this what you want to happen to you?"
The key is to be calm, curious, and respectful.
You can always "win" any fight with a child.....but your goal is to "grow" a child -- not to "defeat" a child.

LOL SDReadhead! I sorta am like you but my clutter is organized clutter. As long as I know where things are, I'm okay. I used to be more of a neat freak but, once I had kids, everything went topsy turvy. I tell anyone who asks what I want for my birthday, Christmas, or any occassion, "a live-in maid/housekeeper!" I do keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in my car, my purse, and they even have the keychain kind that you attach to your purse. I like to keep my hands and my kiddos' hands clean. You never know what's out there.

We were reminiscing tonight about the REALLY good old days of J&J. Remember Claude Knobler (Hollywooood, Hollywood Claude).? He was witty and quick and such a kick to listen to. I used to love the volley between him and Jeff. I remember ROTFL so many times! (sigh)...oh for the good ol' days!
FH allegedly thinks that his alleged magic briefcase (didn't it used to be a Rolodex?) that is allegedly filled with has-been names and phone numbers is going to sustain him after the contract is up. Uhmmm, no, I really don't want to hear an interview with the cousin of the brother of the aunt of the neighbor's gardener's friend of Ringo Starr. NO ONE CARES WHO HE (allegedly) USED TO KNOW!!!
I hate that Jerky has not only given up but talks about it and jokes about it. Thankfully, I'm almost shamgram-free. I cruise over when DSC are on commercial SOMETIMES.
Nite all...
I sure did. When I sat down to open the site tonight and got the message that I didn't have access to the page anymore, my Catholic guilt set in and I wondered what I did wrong. Then I quickly got over myself and went on a hunt for my friends.
Okay, so I'm not Catholic, but Protestants get guilt pangs too! So glad I found y'all again! We are certainly a force! Good over (alleged) evil.

From the suggested oath: "I further promise that I will not in any way harass, annoy, disturb...any alleged "big deal" people or organizations who are affiliated with the aforementioned Spewgram (errr...showgram)."
I humbly recommend that the words "annoy" and "disturb" be removed; after all, isn't that the purpose of this thread? And don't we even annoy and disturb each other from time to time? It's not illegal, and is all in the spirit of things, me sez. Harassment is out, though. It would be nice if WE stopped being harassed by FH and his minions.
It's soooo good to see all you new posters checking in. Don't be intimidated by "creative" ones. Everyone is welcome and there are no pass or fail marks given to posts. Also spelling/punctuation/grammar don't matter here, as agreed in the former thread around post #11,984 or so. Just chime in! BTW, Trixie, we must be over 200 by now.

Well, there's your flaw...you spend time with your family.
If you were LBM, you'd "allegedly" spend 3 out of 7 days with your "babies" shopping at CVS and buying lottery tickets....
If you were "Jesus as Jeff," you'd be spending 3 days a week adopting starving children from Nairobi, and the other 4 days allegedly shopping for antiques while pretending to be William Least-Heat Moon...
If you were "Vegan-Jer," you'd spend 40 weeks a year preaching Buddhist, Vegan, "I love Gays -- not that there's anything wrong with that," lifestyles, and the other 12 weeks living the "I-Really-admire-Robin Leach-cause-I-live-the-ultimate-'I'm-so-wealthy-I-can-offend-everyone-life-style-cause-I'm-a-La-Jolla-art-loving-gay-man-married-to-a-clown'----allegedly."
If you were FH, you'd be the male version of Britney Spears-- out of control, trolling for sex, using drugs (allegedly), and truly believing you are the salvation of your family. You'd also believe you have talent.
If you were Randy, you'd be normal...and the world would shudder at this revelation. Your life would be void of the J & J criticism....and you'd be the most balanced, normal, healthy person among this five-person cluster f**k.

I'm thinking that maybe a fast food restaurant called her and advised her to no longer mention kiddos in her blahhgg anymore. Time will tell...

I am 43 and have wanted to be a mom since I was 7 and really grasped the important role mom's play. Sure I wanted a career, but being a mom has always been my #1 goal in life. This should finally be my year.
I have done some reasearch and there are a number of agencies and avenues you can take. Do you want to foster with hopes of adopting? Then use Angels who Jeff and Kristin are using. So many people have told me great things about them!
There's the County of SD, but the wait for babies is long. There is international adoption, but it can be very costly and I frankly could not handle two lengthy trips to a place like China or parts of Russia. There is also San Diego Adoptions and the director there is Sarah Jensen, long thought of as an angel for the work she does. I know a few folks who have used her and she is awesome.
I say...if you have been trying, just give it a rest. Move ahead with one of these great places (you don't have to be wealthy and you can get govt. assistance during the process and sometimes after). I hate to see people unhappy, stressed and in the poorhouse trying to conceive. Go for it!!!

um...you know something about this Jammie?
Only that I might've added them to my Amazon wishlist... hey, Valentine's Day is coming up!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
(Nothing says "sexy" quite like a pair of neon green mop slippers! Goes splendidly with my purple mohawk!)

It's 12:20 and I have been waiting all day for the J&J Great Deals. No sightings! I am going to go to bed!
On another note, Sapphie has been quite the tart and I believe she has made passes at two men today. What gives? Maybe you should hit the bay and swim after troop ships. (My dad used to say that to us girls) I hope that Sapphie doesn't cause Jake and the other dude she's pursuing to want to dual over her. That could get messy but would certainly add to the drama here.
If you can wait, Sapphie, the Mile of Men is one month away.
Speaking of the Mile of Men, does anyone remember that crappy MOM theme song from a few years back? I think Rick Moorten sang it...I might be wrong. It was funny and soooooo stupid.

I DO feel bad that Carl was able to disturb the private lives of the GA mods. It's not right that he sought out private info to try to bully all of us. I understand her concern. HE is a creep. Any and all info discussed was made public by the people being discussed. We sought NO private info. Carl is a bully. Tommy is a bully. More than that, they're weak. Put yourself out there in public and be preared to deal with PUBLIC OPINION. Wussies.

If it's the 13th, I can't use an even number -- ever.

Shello,
You are already a mom.
You just haven't been connected to a child yet.
Your heart and soul are a "mom." You understand the sacrifice it takes to raise a human infant....you "get" what it means to be responsible....you understand the ability to sacrifice yourself for another...
You are a mom Shello!
You are simply waiting for an infant.
In my line of work, I have seen so many people fail at raising a child (or children). It is painful to see "biological" parents, abandon their children. And it happens daily! I know for a fact, there are moms without children out there, who are better moms than woman who have children.
Shello, you are a "mom" because you have the spirit it takes to be a human being and show someone else what that entails.
In my mind, you are a great mom!

#180 Reporting for Duty!
Geeze! It took me forever to catch up! Well i'm usually a lurker but wanted to check in.
Let me preface everything by saying "ALLEGEDLY" ok...
The reason for anything anti-DC is because of the discussions regarding the ankle bitters. That's where it all started months ago and it's been in the works for a while. J&J do not read the thread, it's FH who reads it. Also RM checks in once in a while. You won't catch JS (Jen) checking in here because she's too sensitive and takes any criticsm personally. She doesn't want to see anything bad written about her. LBM doesn't check here either but knows what's going on because of FH. You can still access the blahg by going here jeffandjer.star941sandiego.com/tommyblog.html you've gotta put the http:// at the beginning to get to it. Not sure if any of you visit the regular star website but if you do you'll notice the redesigned site? Well expect the JJ site to be redesigned soon too and possible that the blahg page will be deleted for good so if you want to re-read anything i'd do it now. ALLEDGEDLY!
and...please don't ask how i know anything because i don't know anything and everything is alleged and that's my story and i'm sticking to it!

Gidget, welcome, and thanks for the rundown. I feel a rant comin on...I am being possessed by alien beings...
Not too much has ever really been said about Jen, folks have their normal preferences, but personally, I like Jen. I like RM, too. IF you are in the public arena, you are going to get people who don't like you for significant things like your hair, or your kneecaps. But both those two mentioned have a sense of humor about themselves and the world that is real. They do not consider themselves the center of the universe. Heck, I'm a sensitive gal, but who the heck cares? They both make decent paychecks, and that's just part of the workday.
I will have to offer one adjustment to your post...the "kids" are not the reason there have been problems. They are the excuse. The mention of these same alleged offspring (now, that brings up a whole new possible line of chatter, doesn't it? Like maybe WHO DA DADDY?) but that was the EXCUSE for the activity recently. MEntion of the kids has been going on for a long time--and again, was based pretty much on what these self-serving clowns have put out there themselves!
I think there was more to the battle between an alleged Mom living in another county and her (alleged but well known and documented) lyin', cheatin', deceivin' ex who happens to live in an area where residents tolerate skate ramps and trampolines in the front yard. I think that certain ex has been manipulating both the ex and the future (allegedly)lovely candidate for celebrity hookup, and the future celebrity hookup candidate was singing some verses of "It's awful, these people are so mean and make fun of these poor kids (but who really gives a rats about the kids, they are criticizing ME ME ME!) and I hope my family's best friend, probably pals with my folks....maybe a classmate from the old high school days when I was a hot number, and I can still wear my cheerleader outfit....that guy who went to law school and graduated while still living at home....and has been sitting around in that construction office, hanging out on the internet blogging and reviewing anything and everything, hoping SOMEONE will call with a job offer...hey! Southwest Airlines could possibly need an in-house atty. hired right off their message boards!!! with nothing much to do...maybe HE will do something...
And he started bullying and sending pm's. and he tried and he tried and huffed and he puffed. And he brought more attention to this whole blog than there even was before. Frankly, the spike in posts is DIRECTLY related to the poor behavior of all the players who are discussed here.
FH probably didn't like the redo of the picture of him in the bathtub. Who took the picture and posted it? Who posted pictures of their own kids and would basically say, "Hey, these kids are alone, unsupervised and DYING for responsible parental attention, and will be alone or traveling to these certain events at this or that time, while I will be interacting with my adoring masses?"
Ok, so LBM doesn't read the site...isn't it nice that Sir FH makes sure she knows what is said here? So he can again manipulate HER opposition to what is posted here?
LBM concerned about her residence address made public? Probably would have been a good idea NOT to have the selling agent hawk the place as the residence of the local celebrity LAURA CAIN! in all the marketing stuff. Why, looky! There's her intriguing art puzzle right above the fireplace!!!!
FH concerned about his children's privacy? give me a break. He uses those kids like a carpenter uses hammers, chisels, saws and levels. They are his basic tools....to convince himself he is a good parent, since he hasn't had a drink in 5 years, ok? And he sure works at getting along with his ex for his kids sake...ask him if he yet even knows where they live? Well, he might, he probably weaseled it out of the kids by this time.
FH and LBM are good time parents. She now so appreciates her kids why? BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO DO THE HARD STUFF. When she has them, it's party time. That whole daily grind is someone else's issue now, she just gets the part that she wants to do. Same with FH, but he was probably never too involved in the day to day stuff with his kids.
Right now, that young boy child has her significant attention. Why? He could have been killed. She's now publicly perceived as a bad mother. For yeras, she thought it was something no one hoticed....Look what he did to gain her attention? That's awful.
my. I do have to get going.
But PPCarl has done nothing to really assist any of these people. Well, maybe, if he has been the reason the blogs are either gone or less specific. But if he really wanted to be help to any of these people, he would tell them to straighten up their lives, and there would be a following change in how people react to their bad behavior. But he ain't going there. Let him join the celebrity cavalcade, and he's good to go.

This morning on the mikey show, the members of the show were talking about their feelings on individuals googling their dates. There were mixed feelings amongst the cast. Then mikey shared his point of view and mentioned that if you google him, the first thing that comes up on him is all this controversy about something he said yyeeaaarrsss ago that was misconstrued by many people.
Which made me think, maybe the reason Fat head got so upset was becuase when you googled his name,his leech's name, or Laura's name this site was one of the first things to come up. Maybe that is when we started to get under their skin? Fatty thought that having our thread pop up first in google was a smidge scarry, because of what we had said about him. True, alot of it was speculation but there was alot of truth too (catching blog lies, his criminal history, flaws in his weight loss theories etc. etc. etc. and he couldn't have that out for the lovely public to see.

I can add any letter after your number that you'd like.
I think anyone in your real life family would carry your number, and you would just use the alphabet when discussing them.
For example. I'm DC #16. My 5-year-old would be 16A, as in instead of saying something like: Well, I had my five-year-old brush her teeth by 7:30 last night and read two stories to her before 8 pm................I could just say:
At 7:30, 16A had brushed her teeth and was ready for story time.
It is simpler with the number/letter. Allegedly. I'll place a B, since you are expecting the second child.
The letters are to alert us that there is a bun in the oven, except for the Invisible Elves, who all have to share their number and divvy up the alphabet, but we also know them as elf 9 or 12, allegedly.

Hi Shello. Your post touched me. I am very much in the same boat. I'm 38 and single. My deepest and most intimate longing for my entire life has been to be a Mom. I started babysitting at 9, and have never stopped being around kids. I taught preschool for years, taught parenting classes, majored in child development in college and teach youth at my church. I, like you, am a mother through and through, though I haven't given birth.
As a single woman, it would be irresponsible and selfish of me to foster or adopt a child because I wouldn't be raising them...the child care workers would, while I work to keep a roof over our heads. Single parenting is extremely tough for those who find themselves there unplanned. I can't imagine how selfish it would be for me to intentionally place myself into that situation, or how thoughtless it would be for my child. Because of that, and that is the SOLE reason, I choose to not start down the road of fostering or adopting, though it's so very hard not to.
So I wait. I hope and pray for a husband, and then eventually a family. Having a nephew is fabulous, and borrowing friend's kids is fun, but it is nowhere near close enough. I have such deep respect for you and wish you all of the blessings and joy in the world!!
Keep us posted, ok? I'm very excited for you!!!
