Jeff us such an idiot. He gets more and more obnoxious with age. He just can't get it through his giant watermellon-sized, toupee-topped head that he is old! Has anyone seen the picture on their Web site of him and his kids on the fair ride? What a dork. If that's his daughter in the middle, I feel bad for her. She looks like Jeff. I actually thought it was a boy, but it's not. Poor girl already has a mustache. But then again, Nina was kind of manly. I am so sick of hearing how Jeff goes to the fair everyday to ride that stupid mouse ride and eat fair food....

I just went to see the photo. He's dressed like "Where's Waldo?"
All three of them look exactly alike.
:wow: Look at the crazy EYEBROWS!!

The last time I listened he was talking about all the pilates and getting in shape. He clearly looks like he's been skipping pilates classes in favor of fair food on a stick. :disa:

I must say the before and after photographs of Laura's kitchen now up on her diary page show what $25,000+(of course discounted heavily for free ads on the air) can do for a kitchen. Notice the wine bottle rack built into the cabinets next to the scratch and dent refrigerator. I wonder if those were planned before Laura admitted to being an alcoholic and seeking help and were kept in the original design for when Laura falls off the wagon and goes back to that lifestyle. I guess so far, so good. There are no bottles of wine in those racks yet. Maybe they were removed for the photograph.

There's not title for the diary entry so I didn't even see that today's entry was up. No wonder I couldn't find them. :eek3: She made the old cabinets sound terrible. She should see my tiny kitchen. I'd love nice white cabinets...but I'd rather spend it on getting my AC fixed!

Jeff does look like a combination of Where's Waldo and Steve from Blue's Clue with the ridiculous rugby shirt on in the far picture. He has packed on the lbs. - I think he accidentally ate Kristin. The picture says that they are his kids - plural. He only has one young sone - so the other has to be his daughter. At least they did not name her Pat. As for Laura's kitchen - the wine bottle rack is empty - but that's not to say it wasn;t full when they finished the job. There is no way in hell she's sober. That woman couldn't stick to anything if she tried.

There is no way that Laura is not drinking  . She is too into herself and can't commit to anything. No follow through! She never talks about it because she's too ashamed that she's fallen off the wagon and hitched a ride on the beer truck. In terms of buying a car - I am sure she'll be doing a commercial for some new dealership soon. She just got a car a while ago. She spends like there's no tomorrow. Pretty soon, she'll be bankrupt and will have to ell the new house, even though they make tons of cash. I can see it now.

So, does anyone know what Dave's new job is. I mean Laura makes good money (for nothing) and being an airline pilot doesn't pay too shabby and they were always broke. So, now that Dave has this new job they have a new home, new car, new kitchen and who knows what else. I sure hope they have enough sense to be saving for their kids college but probably not seeing how materialistic Laura is.

Wow, looked at Laura's semi-daily dirt - that kitchen is gorgeous! I'm sure it cost her, oh, $300 to cover the taxes for Bardon (because she shilled for them so much).

And, she said it was her baby, and, fortunately, this baby won't be left at school in the rain with no ride home, or get to ride it's bike in the middle of the street with no adult supervision.

We can always count on Boris to say it like it is.

I was listening to the show this morning and I couldn't help wondering if the show could get any more gay.

Pam was on the air talking about some web site that you can dress up dolls to look like you. The guys were all ohh and ahhh about it.

Are they just trying to target all the soccer moms that are taking their kids to school that early in the day?

Boris, what do you think? And please, don't hold back.

That is all we need - more fuel to feed Laura's enormous ego and overly selfish personality. "Oh great, now I can wake up from my much-needed nap and make little mini-Laura's on the computer! I can send them to everyone I know." I bet her new refrigerator is already plastered with Laura cut-outs.

What a stupid Web site. Make your own cartoon characters - come on! Jerry only acted like it was cool so he can get lucky with his over-the-hill, I am woman hear me roar Carol Brady meets Ellen haircut, cat loving, never wants kids, snobby, turkey-neck wife. And Jeff - the man is gay but he's lost the key to his closet door. You know he'd spend hours making overly exagerrated skinny Jeffs and accessorizing. But mini paper Jeff can't touch mini paper chubby Kristin until they are married.... Did anyone see their Costa Rica pics? Holly cow! I think Kristin swallowed Gary Coleman, or she was attacked by a swarm of bees. She has grown more chins than a Chinese phonebook.

What's up with Pam's corner on the web site? When did she become part of the show? All the stuff she talks about is lame anyway...Jergens Natural Glow...That has been out for at least a year or two.

I was a J&J supporter forever, but even I have stopped listening to them. I'm sick of their stupid segments directed at the middle aged mothers and their boring junior listeners (nothing against middle aged mothers, I am a middle aged woman myself, I would just like a radio show that talks about more than personalized stationary, and press on nails).:puke:

I doubt they're even in the studio. It's probably all computer generated :throw:. They spent so much time on that stupid segment about sending that whinny kid and her mom to Hawaii - give me a break! I overslept this morning so I missed almost all of the show (thank goodness).

I did catch the crew bagging on Laura's kitchen and how she actually never uses a kitchen.

How could someone live with a broken stove for a year? Eating out every night? No wonder she is always broke.

I'm also glad they pointed out the junk on top of the fridge in the diary photos. C'mon Laura, you couldn't of taken that stuff down before snapping a photo?

This just in...Laura's new house does not have A/C. What does this mean to us? It means that next week, she'll be praising some A/C company. "San Diego Heating & Cooling, the best around at providing reliable service and installation. Don't sit in your house and sweat like a pig, call them today..." I mean come on, how can she nap without A/C?

Her diary also says that her new house smells because a pipe is backed up! I wonder if this house will end up being like the last one they owned and often refer to as the house from hell?

Well, that house has been there for over 40 years without A/C all that time. I'm sure numerous kids have grown up in that house dealing with the heat. Most of the homes in the college area don't have A/C but then again most people didn't pay $630,000 to live in the college area either. If you've got the money to burn may as well live it up in the cool! Besides, you wouldn't want those expenseive bottles of Merlot to get too warm and spoil!

Did they not consider that when they bought the house? Let's see - it's in the College area, which is hot (let's face it). I dunno - I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and even I know that it's hot there! I think even the dumbest of my cats could have figured that out (and, emmmm.....he's pretty dumb).

I just moved from my place that had a very nice central A/C system. The one thing I miss the most.

I actually went out and got a small window A/C so I can work comfortably (I work at home).

I wish I could plug a company and get a free A/C system.

I seriously can't understand how they are even on the radio. Exactly as other people have said on this board- "It was listen to us talk about us." Jeff going on & on about how fabulous his son Mark is and that Nina's "special friend" Jay who is a scout for the Padres taught him how to bat. It is a really bad show.

They are talking to a guy who was in prison about conjugal visits.

Most people would get fired for failing to do his/her job. But we're not hot like Laura - wait she's not hot - she looks like a man with a coat rack for a nose. Quite beastly. I would not be so mean if she weren't such a sloth. Also, I got so sick of hearing about Jeff's son's grand slam. A little mention is fine but it took up a good chunk of the show. On the way in this morning, someone had called in with the "Dirt". Jef said he likes that cos it means others or doing their job for them and then they don't have to work so hard. I'm not saying it word for word, but you get what Jef was saying and gee, he truly said it like it is. They do absolutely nothing. Of course Jerry thought he was the best lover, (honestly he said he was sure of it) :puke: and a few of the others put Tommy!!:disa: For best looking they all picked Randy for last, really no surprise there. Of course Jerry thought he was the best lover, (honestly he said he was sure of it) :puke: and a few of the others put Tommy!!:disa: For best looking they all picked Randy for last, really no surprise there. Tommy actually had the nerve to say he thought he was a pretty handsome guy and the others mostly agreed. WTF have they been smoking??? Tommy is so soft, bloated and wore out looking I could never in a million years say he was anything remotely close to "handsome". These people really live on a planet all by themselves don't they? To think that a whole bit just about how THEY rank THEMSELVES would be interesting to the general public. :shake: :johnwoo2:

I unfortunately tuned in for 1 minute when channel surfing and heard them playing some stupid game (I had no idea what they were doing, but again.. it's all them goofing around and getting paid). Before they went to commercial break, someone said we will see who is the most PO'd after the break. Duh.. the audiences are, who else? This morning I also heard Jeff said they brain stormed during commercial breaks and how much he loved a job with commercial breaks. They means they don't prepare before they go on air.

Haha...a female listener is ranking who is smartest.. Dumb Laura is ranked the lowest. she is pouting and saying hey you are a girl, we think alike, why do you rank me the lowest... this is a setup... I don't want to play anymore. She is disagreeing everybody's ranking. Rick is doing his ranking and Laura keeps interrupting. Again she is the lowest in rank.

cadetevon

My ranking of who is the most valuable...

6. Laura...the show would so totally not fall apart without her and her complaining.

5. Randy... he's a great add to the show and I'd miss him terribly if he were gone, but the show would go on.

4. & 3. Jeff & Jer... they are branded to the show so they have to be rated at least this high.

2. Tommy... I hate to rate him this high, but seriously, no matter how sucky the show is, without a producer (no matter what an ass that producer is) there is no show.

1. Rick... I REALLY like the guy, he's wicked funny and he should have his own show. It's really too bad that he's not given more credit for everything he does (production wise). Besides, he's hands down the funniest one there.

Can it actually be possible???? Jerry is off today, does that really mean they are all on vacation next week? Jerry LOVES to start his vacation 1 day before everyone else. Nine days off in a row is not good enough for him, he always seems to have to add 1 additional day to his. Didn't they all just have a week off last month? I could swear Laura just got back from the booze cruise house boat vacation. These guys really have it good!

It sounds like money complaints are over in the Cain family. After redoing that kitchen for mega bucks Laura is getting her way again by convincing Dave to cave in and pay for a new air conditioner. The house has been there for over 40 years and never had one and for some reason Laura seems to think it needs one. She mentioned the house didn't have ventilation so I can't imagine how much that installation will end up costing. My guess is that she'll be doing A-Dee-Doo commercials on the air for the next 6 months to pay for it.

It should run her about $5,000. Also, she should have the insulation checked. SDG&E is giving rebates right now on insulation. A heck of a lot cheaper than air conditioning which she would only run about 1-2 months year.

I listened today and at first thought it was a repeat because everything they talked about I had already read on here.
Why is Jer able to leave 1 day before everyone else? His presence was not missed. I thought it was REALLY strange how Laura and Rick made comments that they had NO IDEA that they would be going on vacation next week, yet Jer was already in Italy. The whole schtick made no sense- how could 2 or 3 people not know about a vacation while the other is half way around the world. Jeff seemed to know because he said he was tanning to prepare himself for his vacation and burned his back- he showed it on the webcam. After he showed his back he made them take the camera off of him and it was pointed to Jer's empty chair then the screen went to black. Later they invited Kristen to speak on air and I thought "I'll check out the webcam to see what she looks like" and the screen was black but I left it open on my monitor. After a few minutes and the camera was up and running and you could see her. After awhile Tommy informed her that she was on the webcam and she made a not so happy comment "oh great my hairs still wet" and you could tell by her body language that she was uncomfortable.
Was I the only one completely disgusted by their talking about "their wedding night" uuuggghhhh:puke:

Bottom line - Kristin is a back country, moonshine brewing, swamp swimming, overly religious, chubby, critter eating, coon skinning, southern bell. She is a tank! No wonder she did not want to be on camera. Looks like she is over-hydrated or something. Time to climb into the old sweat box. I also was disgusted when they started talking about their wedding night. I feel bad though - we have all heard Jeff complain about his lack love-making abilities. It's be like to female pigs trying to copulate - a lot of squealing but not much action. On a serious note - I can't believe he is expecting everyone to fly back to Tennessee - for his third marriage! And buy him gifts!! One thing Jer did get right was to book his trip to Italy during the wedding. And then Jeff goes on about how her grandfather - his name is probably Uncle Jesse - is going to baptize him in some dirty creek. Maybe while he's submerged he should think about how he's already created two broken families - very Christian Jeff. Hypocrisy is such a wonderful trait!

Did anyone happen to read Laura's diary? A few things jumped out at me. First - Dave is having an affair. No question about it. Men who come home out of the blue with highlights are fooling around. Second - Charlie's teacher told her they keep him up to late and it's causing him to be bad at school. What, you mean I can't take him swimming at 10:15 at night, or stay up watching R-rated movies with him? Finally, what is she painting above her fireplace? Hideous! Is she a student at the Braille Institute or something? How can she think that looks good.:puke:

I unfortunately tuned in for 1 minute when channel surfing and heard them playing some stupid game

The game started out with them ranking who was the most valuable to the show. Then it went on to all the other rankings. I didn't listen to all of them. It was REAL dumb.

The funny part was poor Laura with her fragile emotional state couldn't handle being last on any of the lists.

I was listening and thinking that as far as being valuable to the show, Laura should come in after the guy that brings them breakfast in the morning.

So after reading all the activity here today I went to read Laura's diary. Maybe it's just me but does anyone else think it's a little strange to be "in the pool" while your husband is not home and an air conditioning guy is "in" your house? I thinks it's strange. Were the kids alone inside with their A/C man? Also - no mention of alcohol on Laura's part means she's sending Charlie to the corner liquor store for mama's special juice again. There's no way she can stay sober - too needy, too selfish, too Laura. If she were still on the wagon, believe me, we would've heard about it.

Boris: You have me laughing so hard over here. How long do you give this marriage between needy Jef and "must be blind to Jef's insecurities" Kristin?

Well - let's look at this from a scientific perspective:

1. If she sees Jeff's naked (on the wedding night - yah right!) and is expecting a boa constrictor - she be disappointed with the meal worm. This would equate to a marriage of 126 weeks, give or take a few hours. :spock:

2. If she goes to grab Jeff’s hair during a passionate session of lovemaking and pulls her hand away to discover that it's covered in jet black hair dye - 131.75 weeks, exactly. If this happens - she was grabbing the sides of his hair. If she goes right for the top center, she'll come away with his well worn hair piece (i.e. man wig) and the union will end in 129 weeks, on the dot. :fro:

3. If she loses her snacks (i.e. M&Ms, Reece’s, cereal, raisins, kibble, etc.) in Jeff's fat folds - that would send the marriage to a screeching halt in 30 weeks. Bad, very bad!! :munch:

4. Finally, if she re-injures her head and is able to snap out of it and exit the cloud that she's been living in since the piano fell on her a year ago - I'd give it a week, max. :stupid:

I am so sick and tired of hearing about Laura's school reunion! She is sooooo insecure! Sure you want to look good but she is way over the top. Trying to find some "celebrity" person to take her, what? to try to make her seem like she is someone she's not. Jeez, anyone else in her position would be satisfied being able to say they earn a 6 digit income, are part of the highest rated radio show in San Diego, etc. etc.. etc...BUT OH NO , not Laura. She is never satisfied with what she has, she always wants more. Believe me, after the night is over Laura, no one will even give you a second thought. You're suppose to go to these things and have a good time and rekindle some old friendships. Sounds like more headgames to me.

Problem is that the years have not been kind. She was never really that much of a knockout, but now she's even less so.

It's always such a tragedy when someone dies so young (he was 51). He was wearing his helmet, but still - motorcycles are dangerous. There isn't much "insulation" from you and someone in a Lincoln Navigator, talking away on their cell phone (and paying no attention) or from the soccer mom waving her right arm towards the back seat of the car saying "hey you kids, knock it off or I'm gonna smack you clear into next week"(that's what I'd get from MY Italian Momma from Brooklyn, NY).

Drive defensively - I'd miss one of you guys if something happened to you. You guys make me laugh (more than the showgram!) This has been a public service announcement from Listener13 - "The More You Know (rainbow swoosh)" - and now, back to our regularly scheduled bashing.

There was no other vehicle around. I agree motorcycles are dangerous and your risk of dying from an accident of any type is much greater on a bike than inside a car. He knew the risks and took them anyway. He went out in style and I'm sure died doing what he must have loved since most motorcycle riders do it for the thrill regardless of their high chances of dying while riding.

Yes, I agree that it's very sad that Jeff's friend Mark died, especially if he had a family with young children. Jeff has indicated that Mark was a mega Christian - I sure hope he was not trying to pray while riding his motorcycle - that would make steering rather difficult. It's always important for aspiring pastors and practicing religious nuts to keep both hands on the wheel. Visualize the hands together, but don't actually perform the act. Just a tip. Speaking of tips, do you know what the leper said to the prostitute? > "Keep the tip."

It is strange that Jeff always seems to attract tragedy. I bet he was devastated by the news. I can picture him lying on his bedroom floor in nothing but his white briefs, toupee on the nightstand, holding himself in a fetal position, and crying - while listening to Celine of course...

Now, THAT'S a mental image we could have all lived without - thanks, Boris:) ........but like Celine says (or should I say, sing/screams), "My Heart Will Go On". That, and "hey, beoytch, stay away from my ancient husband, René Angélil" :puke: (I hope you read his name in your best French head-voice).

I'm listening to the showgram this morning - why, dunno. If anything, it blocks out the sound of all the overhead pages at my company.

It's evident to me that Jeff is the glue that holds that show together (I know it's only Elmer's Glue, but it's glue, nonetheless). They're kinda floundering without him.

If Jerry does his three-eyed frog story (or whatever the hell that was), I'm done!

And, what's with Laura borrowing shoes? Hello! She gets stuff handed to her on that show all the time. She said that she and Dave are having "banking" issues. Hmmmmm, that MIGHT be understandable if she paid for those Bardon Cabinets, but she didn't.

I agree. If they are broke, it's because she's incapable of living within her means. I guess all the liquor can add up... She's just saying she needs to borrow shoes to get attention - to turn the spotlight of sympathy on herself.

If you want to play in the big league, you'd better wear a cup baby! :fro: I do feel bad that his friend died, but does he have to try and include us in his sorrow? That is very woman-like. Most men would keep their grief to themselves and would not sob on the radio. His relationship with his buddy was a little over the top - a little Oprah meets Gayle. He said he could not even pull himself together enough to go to work after his second divorce, so he'd call Mark from his car and he'd walk him though it. Very needy. But it is sad when one loses a good friend, I agree, and I do feel bad for Jeff.

Returning to the radio

Former Star 100.7 FM personality Jen Sewell-Sorenson will be back on the local airwaves, and back on Star. Sewell-Sorenson left Star 100.7 last year when the station changed its name and flipped to the Jack format, but she will be back on Star 94.7 (KMYI-FM), where her afternoon shift begins Aug. 7.

That's good news - I actually liked Jen's show. I think they should give her Laura's job. Then Laura could be a sales rep for Bardon Cabinets, or house boats, or whatever. In Laura's diary today she says that Rick had surgery. Hope he's doing well - he is one of the bright spots on the show. Gosh I'm being nice, must be Friday...

Then she said something out of the blue that would've made Davecain's hair stand on end. We were waiting for our food at Saffron when she starts twirling around in her little dress shouting at the top of her lungs "I LOVE

And the boys will love her... now that she knows how to do the booty dance!

How can she act shocked when just a few days ago she was teaching her daughter to dance like a hoochie?

I read it here, went there to see the photos and tasted a little bit of my lunch there.

Them is ugly feet. I wish I knew what was going on with that big toe. It seems like it's been deformed from being forced into "pretty shoes".

I heard her begging to borrow shoes this morning. Did she get any size nine and a half's? Not only ugly, but huge feet.

She also read some email comments from readers about her dress selections. Someone told her to keep shopping. I'm sure that was the kinder selection of emails.

Does she just not realize what she is doing? Stop subjecting us to these pictures!

Her diary entry is dated June instead of July. She must not know what month it is either.

Why yes....matter of fact we are.

Seems like Star is going for the "older" audience in the morning and the youngsters in the afternoon. Jen sounds like she is just out of high school but she is actually in her 30's. She used to be with Greg Simms in the afternoons on 100.7 and got fired when they changed format. She's been lost over at US 95.7....didn't know a hoot about country and didn't want to. Matter of fact, she was doing the daily dirt on Thursday and announced that she had a first....."George Clooney is gay". Being the novice that she is, Jen should check her sources before she makes a stupid statement like that.

And what the heck is up with Laura's face in the pictures on the web? Her face is such a different color than the rest of her body. Must be all that fake tanning or something. And those outfits! I hope she is kidding about them. I wouldn't be caught dead in any of them. UGLY, of course it doesn't help that she has absolutely NO FIGURE! (hahaha, I am in an exceptionally Laura bashing mood today aren't I??)

I don't think it is a fake tanning. Betcha she went to Dr. Bucko and had a face peel. That is why it is all red and blotchy. It will be back to normal for her reunion.

I agree....the clothes she was modeling were not the best choice. I saw her at the Jeff & Jer Thank You Party. She has a darling figure....so all you bashers, bite your tongues.....you would give your right arm to be a size 4.

There is no way that Big Bird - aka Laura - is a size four. She might be a size four at a clothing store for the blind, but not in the real world department. She looks like a man in drag in her reunion pictures on the Web site. Also, she is not wearing her wedding ring - maybe trying to get a little side action? I guarantee that she had a few drinks too - she never mentions sobriety anymore. It was so funny - she was all upset that she didn't win an award at the reunion - like best job. It's all about her. She also made some jealous comments about the group of "popular" girls. You mean Laura wasn't popular in high school? Imagine that. Maybe people would remember her better by her former name - Larry Cain - the one she used before the procedure.:|

Her hair is limp and stringy, the dress does absolutely nothing for her non-figure and the way she is "hanging" on all those guys is just too weird.

She reminds me of the type that craves attention from men. Any man will do. She has to hang all over them, flirt with them, etc.

I think it's part of her insecurities. Any attention she gets validates in her mind that she is still the "hot blonde" she thinks she is.

The missing wedding ring is something all right. And I too thought the "hanging" all over those guys was weird.

Basically they are short recordings of the morning "zoo" laughing a lot.

Other stations actually play funny stuff that can be taken out of the context of the show. The ones that are played now are basically inside jokes with a bunch of laughing.

Is must be because there is nothing funny that can stand on it's own.

Laura is an idiot with no respect for human life- other than her own.
Here is proof from her diary

"A car accident down on Montezuma Road woke me out of a sound sleep. I managed to squeeze in another 45 minutes of sleep.

Now I'm wondering if I should've immediately called 911. Should I have called 911? .Now I'm feeling yucky about it. I was just so freaked out. I just want to do the right thing."

WTF?? Who hears an accident and a person yelling and does not call 911??

Laura if it was someone you loved in that car, would you want the neighbors who heard the crash to run back into the house to get some more sleep?

I found some of those press on toe nails last night, they were a different brand than the ones Laura was hawking, but anyway. .. They were really cool, but I have to return them because my toes are too small. I would recommend these for people with a size 8 shoe or larger :)

Did any one check out Laura's toes. Holy Crap.....she needs some foot surgery. I would never wear sandles if my toes looked like that. It's called "Hammer Toes". Why would she allow a photo to be taken of her toes. Pretty disgusting!

Well, well, well, Tommy's "in love" again. How many times do we need to hear this crap of his on the air. With his track record I would really keep things a little more private.
Taken from the web page
"Since that divorce I got involved with two women. Serious relationships with both of them. I loved both of them very much and I gave both of them my heart and my soul and more." That's probably why they broke up with you. What "more" DID you give them??? Herpes, crabs, oh no, wait, a black eye???

I just read Tommy's heartfelt letter on their website. I wish I had taken my antipuke medicine before I did.....nausiating:puke:

Tommy - here's an idea  - just be a parent - what haven't you learned about past relationships? Focus on that. There will always be some girl you can buy with your money.

Awwwwww, that's sooooooo sweet. They met at the station too. If I recall, he used his position to find & woo the car wash girl (on air). It has to be the only way he can get a woman to go out with him because he really is quite unattractive.

Oh, and did you all read that he wrote he spent $30,000 on car wash girl's ring?! That's nausiating. Not that he spent that much, but that he brags about it.

Well, maybe it was an expose’ - an undercover operation by CPS. Doing a segment on Laura's parenting skills is like doing a children's cartoon on Charles Manson.

I can see it now: "Well Lauren Reynolds of Channel 10, thank you for coming to my beautiful home - please pay no attention to the free kitchen and A/C I got from my job as San Diego's favorite radio hostess. You know, I spent 24 hours getting ready for this momentous occasion and haven't been able to sleep for days. [Anything that puts me in the spotlight and makes me the center of the universe gives me goose bumps and makes me all tingly]. What - an accident in front of my house - a family clinging to life - should I call 911? That would interrupt my special moment - wait, Lauren, focus on me, not the bloody people and horrific screams. That's better. Oh Evan, you're filthy! [yes, you're always that way, but lets pretend you ran into the dirty screen door]. Put down that knife honey [don't tell them it's the one mommy gave you for your pretend kitchen and to sharper crayons]. Looks, there's my son Charlie. No that was not him running around town unsupervised and barefoot [at least not today – that was yesterday]. Oh, ah, he's sick. He doesn't always look that way. [Charlie, please don’t tell them it's because you stay up until 10pm every night and that it's worse now that you've started drinking shots of tequila with mommy]. So, as you can see, I'm the greatest mom in the world... Did you get all that. Did you get my good side? We can do it again. No, I'm not a man!!!!

Just caught the Channel 10 interview with Laura Cain and here is what I was able to pick up from the piece.

First off, Dave Cain works for General Atomics and appears to have to wear a suit every day. I guess this isn't too much of a change from his old pilot attire. He probably works in an advisery role as a former pilot. It was hard to make out the company name on his nametag but the cross logo in front of the company name was the dead giveaway. This was obvious from the nametag he had on during the video taping.

Second, the brand new car poor Laura Cain just bought is a Brecht BMW X5 SUV. It was hard to make out in the darkness of the garage. The X5 starts at $42k and goes all the way up to $71k. It sounds like even Laura has the money to afford luxury while balking at the high prices of gasoline she herself has been complaining about. This ultra luxurious SUV gets 16mpg city driving. Despite what Laura says on the radio making us think she's living paycheck to paycheck with at times less than $10 in her bank account it looks like both Laura and Dave are certainly doing quite well.

Third, Laura's kitchen does look great for the free tradeout she was able to do with the station for on air advertising for Bardon. Wouldn't you love to be in her shoes working 4 hour work days and getting so much stuff for free?

Fourth, they live on 5225 Stone Ct which was shown on the front of their house where you could also see the BMW in the garage.

And finally, Jeff is 100% absolutely BACK to being FAT! They briefly showed some footage of Jeff on the air along with Rick in the background. As a side note, I didn't notice any bottles of wine in the wine rack Bardon built into the cabinets for Laura. Perhaps she hid it all before the video footage was taken. I also thought it was unprofessional of Laura to bring Evie on the set for the live interview. She made it sound like it was a last minute dilemma being stuck with Evie. I would think if you had a TV interview planned you would have made arrangements ahead of time or at a minimum someone in the studio could have kept her entertained. At one point Evie was getting wrestless keeping Laura from answering the interview questions. Someone from the set came up and got Evie off her hands. Unbelievable.

Jeff made a comment this morning regarding an article that was torn out of a magazine sitting on his bed. His exact words were "when we were making our bed..." in reference to the bed both he and Kristin share together and sleep in together. Wasn't Jeff preaching how both of them are "waiting" for their wedding day?

Also, it looks like the showgram is off to Chicago Wednesday for this year's Morning Show Boot Camp.

I think they could replace the female on the J&J show with a house plant and the show would improve.

Actually I think she looked less hideous than she usually does. Still nowhere near the "hot blonde" that she thinks she is. Especially with those roots that were missed at the last dye job.

Most of the time she is without makeup and wearing a baseball cap. Good thing they didn't show her toes on the interview.

I had to laugh at the "super mom" comment. She is so self absorbed that she has to be one of the worst moms I've heard of.

First of all - Laura leases her cars. She does not buy them. You can lease a BMW for a lot less than buying. She likes to pretend she lives the good life even though she lives on credit and her son's piggy bank. She does have more money than she claims though. The other day Jeff was claiming that he spends $50 per day on Pilates, right after he said he'd spent $500 of a huge crate of deodorant. Laura balked at the $50 a day and said that her and Randy are in a way different income bracket. However, by the way she lives, with the house, car, kitchen, etc - she tries to pretend otherwise.

This is Kristen, Jeff's fiance. Several months ago a friend of mine googled my name and they were connected to this thread. Of course all the things I ended up reading about me and about Jeff really hurt my feelings but I never bothered to respond because I figured that if people are mean enough to post things like that about someone they've never met, they could probably care less about whether or not my feelings are hurt.
I finally decided to respond when I just read what Boris said about Jeff lying on the floor crying over Mark's death. Perhaps you haven't experienced the loss of someone you love dearly or perhaps you grieve in a different way. You can make fun of me all you want (or anyone else for that matter) but to make fun of someone who just lost their best friend of 46 years??? Come on. At least Listener9 had the courage to feel some sympathy amidst all the cruel things written on this thread.
And for those of you who are having a ball writing about how horrible I look - or to quote Boris:
"Kristin is a back country, moonshine brewing, swamp swimming, overly religious, chubby, critter eating, coon skinning, southern bell. She is a tank!", it's really not any of your business why I've gained weight but for those of you who were at least kind enough to speculate that I might be sick, well, you are right. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few months ago and because we choose to live our lives publicly on the air (for those who really care) you'll probably hear about it anyway. One final comment, speaking of hearing it on the air. It's amazing how many of you listen to Jeff and Jer if you don't like the show. There are plenty of other shows out there that I bet you'd like better and then you wouldn't be waisting so much time of your lives complaining. I'm sure the cruel comments won't stop just because I decided to post but please take into consideration that it's really hard to read awful things about yourself, as you can imagine. Notice I didn't say anything hurtful to anyone on this thread because I don't know any of you personally and for all I know, you're nice people when it gets down to it. Thanks for your time. Kristen

Kristin, if this really is you, it took a lot of guts for you to post on here. I commend you for that.

I'm sorry for your health problems and hope that you get past them and have a healthy life.

I can't speak for the others, but I know that I've become annoyed at the quality of the show. I was a listener when they first started in San Diego. Since the move to "Star" in the late 90s the quality has declined to the state that it is now.

I found this forum last year and thought it was great that I could voice my complaints with others that felt the same way. Besides, Laura just bugs me.

I listen to the show for as much as I can stand and then I have to shut it off and come here to tell others that I can't believe the show is so lame.

As far as commenting about people that we don't really know, how often does the "showgram" dish about American Idol people and all the Survivor contestants?

Did I mention that Laura bugs me.

Kristen-I found this board a few months back when I was searching for a J&J board. I was surprised to see all the nastiness (if that's a word?) posted here. I spoke out in favor of the showgram, and was respectfully heard -by that I mean I think only one person replied in a 'mean' voice- However, I was told that this board was for J&J bashing and not praising and perhaps I should post elsewhere! As alot of these posters mention their families and their lives, I really don't think anyone here is THAT hateful. But I do notice that most of them continue to tune in every morning and I think that speaks for itself! My prayers are with you at this difficult time and I'm glad you have true love to help you through! God Bless.

First and foremost you will be in my prayers.
Which may not mean anything to you considering how mean you think we all are. Really we are no meaner than the showgram, they mock celebrities everyday-only they make money making fun of people! On their website right now it addresses Tori Spelling not getting along w/her mom+not getting much money, she just lost her FATHER. Personally I don't see any difference between Boris making fun of the showgram or the showgram making fun of other people/celebrities. Does daily dirt ring a bell?
This is the J+J Drama board NOT the J+J cheerleading board.
If Oprah doesn't want to see how much weight she supposedly gained (in a really bad photo) or how her lesbian relationship is going with Gayle- she doesn't buy or read the tabloids! (I hope you get the analogy- Oprah is NOT fat or gay...not that there's anything wrong with that:winkie: )

I think everyone on here were J+J's fans (a few still are) and the show turned sucky that's why we sound so bitter. We listen occasionally with high hopes that we may hear something funny like we used to. I get 3 stations in my office- not much selection.

Seriously in your current state why would you purposely let this negativity into your world? You should be focusing on the positive and healing.

Here's some sisterly advice:
Kristen quit reading the tabloid and get better.

Right on, JeesseeezeMom. Kristen, if that is really you, it amazes me that you would write on this website. And again, if this is really you, I am not a hateful person, I just can't stand listenig to J&J anymore. If I do happen to listen to them, it is because I keep thinking they might get "good" again. Kristen:
Thank you for listening! At least we know that someone related to the showgram tunes in to US to hear our comments and concerns. Let me begin by saying that I’m truly sorry about your medical condition. I do hope that you are receiving good medical care, and hope that you can beat this. No one ever wishes that someone becomes ill – not even this group of board-bashers.

The individuals on this forum are long-time J&J listeners, and it’s true – we have become dismayed by their lack of creativity in the past few years. The die-hard “other, other, other, OTHER station listeners” think back fondly on how J&J used to make us laugh out loud with all their antics. It seems that as they’ve progressed up the “salary ranks”, they’ve lost that creativity and spark, and are basically just phoning it in. I, for one, am sad about that. I used to tune in each morning to get inspired by something they’ve done, or just downright entertained…..now, I tune in less often because I’ve heard all of their fun & games time and time again. We miss their antics, we miss all the mean stuff they did to Randy, we’re dismayed by WAY too much of Laura’s whining. I guess what I’m saying is that the show has lost touch with their demographic, and are just punching in at 6 am and out at 9:45 am. I guess the formation of this board allows us to entertain OURSELVES to replace the entertainment we used to hear on the showgram.

I was sad to hear about Jeff’s losing his friend, Mark – we’ve all lost someone in our lives, and we all understand that. I think that the comments that you’ve read were meant to be funny, not hurtful (just like J&J do when they bash celebrities – they have to remember that THEY are celebrities in this town, and should have developed a thick-skin – and you yourself worked in radio – I would have hoped that you would have, as well).

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding – I hope that you have a beautiful day, and wish you and Jeff the best.

I concur with everyone else's sentiment on this board. Bottom line, we have been loyal listeners for years and have watched the entire showgram become very successful as a result of our loyalty. We have just become discontent with the way the show is going now.

It is clear both Jeff and Jer are more interested in counting their money(to the tune of $3+ million in salary each a year) while becoming more and more uninterested in doing their job. This is most apparent in their unbelievable amount of commercial breaks and last 2 hours of the showgram repeats of the first two hours while they don't have to do any work. The show didn't used to be like this.

Most of all, I think we are really tired with the "whoa is me" attitude they convey over the air pretending to be just like the rest of us hardworking San Diegans who are barely able to live here because of the high cost of living. Sure Jeff and Jer talk about how they can't believe how expensive gas is but in reality a gallon of gas to them is like dropping a penny on the ground and not seeing the value in picking it up.

Then we have Laura here constantly complaining about being poor and penniless but still found a way to buy a house in San Diego at the top of the real estate market, drives a brand new BMW, and didn't even think twice about the $30,000+ upgrade she did to her kitchen. We just see a lot of contradiction with the show and the lack of hard work that is put into it these days. It's getting almost pathetic.

If I hear one more thing about freakin' litl Pepper Deli I am going to go nuts! If this show doesn't get better that will be where they broadcast from...

Jen's return has opened up a whole new area to bash... Now we will have to decided who is more annoying Laura or Jen? At least Jen's raspy, sqeaky Demi Moore voice seems to have toned down a bit...still don't like her or her afternoon side kick for that matter!

First - I doubt this is really Kristen. If it is, and if the medical troubles are true - I am very sorry and hope you make it though this difficult time. It seems odd that Jeff has seemed so upbeat lately and has not mentioned it even once. Typically, he will ask listeners to pray, think positive thoughts, etc. When he divorced (for the second time), he was obviously depressed. Nonetheless, if you are ill, as you claim (and if you're really Kristen), good luck. In terms of Jeff's friend Mark - I do have empathy for him. Because Jeff is so overly emotional and "unmanly" at times (i.e. Celine Dion card caring freak), it is amusing to poke fun at him. This website is a way to dish on people who have thrown themselves into the spotlight. I do find it interesting that you have to defend yourself - I would have expected Jeff to take a stand. Hmmm...

By the way, did I mentioned that this is really Jer? :winkie:

What it all comes down to is that the show is BAD. This website is more entertaining. I thank those who wrote their responses to Kristen, real or not, and hit home with the fact that this website is not for the meek or mild. And the comment about Jeff and his "manlihood" is so true. Jeff is so needy. I would have also thought he would have defended Kristen himself. It is probably Jeff who wrote what the supposedly Kristen wrote.

And for the Pepper Deli. Enuf. Stop with it. Please. It isn't funny. And can the show please stop with Jeff, Jer and Laura going on and on about themselves. Yuk!!

Kristin, if it really is you who blogged, you are in my thoughts and prayers. My dad had brain cancer when I was 17 and I know how personally how difficult and painful this diagnosis can be to the person and the their loved ones.

On the other hand, I concur with the previous postings here. Personally, I have listened to Jeff and Jer since their Y-95 days (the good old days). I did an internet search when the the Showgram moved to Star 94.1 so that I could see if anyone else was upset with their seemingly lack of "giving a damn" about their loyal listeners. They have definitely lost their lustre. I keep switching back and forth from the Showgram to other stations hoping that they are just in a rut. So far, things seem to keep getting worse rather than better. Heck, just listen to their snippets from the show that are played in the afternoon and evening- even they're horrible! Sorry, to offend, but yes, the truth does hurt.

This website provides me an opportunity to share my gripes about how the show has gone downhill. Who knows, maybe someone from the Showgram WILL READ all of our postings and take things to heart and really try to improve the show anf just get back to the Jeff and Jer that we used to know and love.

My family owns a local restaurant and, to tell you the truth, I go to websites that are sometimes critical of our establishment. But this feedback helps us to find ways to improve. I don't have to go to those sites if I don't want to, but as a business owner, I need to be aware of what our clients are saying out there (in the real world).

I don't necessarily feel the need to critique the personal lives of the people on the show, however I do feel I have the right to criticize the show and its quality. It is my sincere hope that there will be a wake-up call (no pun intended) for the producers of the Jeff and Jer Showgram and that they will turn things around soon before I and others like me truly tire of contantly changing the radio to a station that can be stomached for more than 2-3 minutes.

Again, take care and I hope that you find comfort in your faith, your family and your friends during this challenging time in your life.

This is a bashing site, so back to it...

Jen is so young to have such a rapsy voice. It is not always caused by smoking (which I know she has done) but second hand smoke can also be a cause.

You guys. . .

I'm sure it is her - we aren't exactly stealth here you know. I try to leave the board with a touch of kindness when I can and I appreciate her pointing that out. I hope she doesn't visit again because no one wants to hear that stuff about the people they care about. Everybody just chill! These people have feelings to, put some goodness in the atmosphere - to change everything simply change your attitude.

Kristen if you do come back to this site: God will never give you more than you can handle, I hope you find joy in everyday.

Why are you kissing up to this "supposed" Kristen? And since when did this become a religious Web site. Sometimes the truth stings a little at first. God does give people more than they can handle, otherwise, people would not die from things like cancer...

It is unfortunate and truly sad if Kristen really does have cancer. I wish her the best. On the other hand, taking a step back, it sure does seem like Jeff is constantly in the midst of one dramatic event after another....

Im not kissing up to her. I hope she never comes back here again to read this crap. Only stating the point of view from my happy and positive side of the world. God gives people cancer because they can handle it, Jeff may have drama because he can handle it. To us, it seems like Laura skates through life because she CAN'T handle it. . . see the difference?

Anyone with me here or I am I in "I'm miserable and so I think everyone else should be" land?

Speaking of which, anyone happen to catch the latest earnings news from Clear Channel? Their profit is going down FAST and they attribute it all to satellite radio. At some point Jeff and Jer will not be able to command $3 million a year for each of them. Stations that live off advertising won't be able to pay it. Either Jeff and Jer will retire when their current contract expires or they will move to satellite radio and have to deal with NO COMMERCIAL BREAKS to relax during. Either way, something will give soon.

I think the guys have made all the money they want. When the current contract is up, then Jer is leaving and it will become a different kind of show with Laura and whoever is left. That's why we hear more from her than anyone else on the show.

They just don't care. Having people call in and tell them their favorite word to say. C'mon. Is that really good radio?

I think that most of the people here are long time listeners that know what potential these guys have. Let's face it, they are so far from that that they will never get back to it.

Oh, and once again Boris tells it like it is.

I remember that I had read this somewhere.

From San Diego Magazine, April 06:

The Jeff & Jer Showgram, which had spent the better part of a decade on 100.7, got scooped up for big bucks by Clear Channel’s Star 94.1 (at the time called My 94.1). Johnson, who hired the team twice—from Y95 in 1990, then in 1997 after they defected for a few years to Q106—says he didn’t want to see them go, but the station was outbid by more than a measly few hundred thousand dollars.” The decision to part ways was purely financial on both ends, Johnson says. “I love Jeff and Jer personally and professionally,” he says. “They’ve been good for us and good to us, but it got to where we couldn’t pay more for the show.”

I have lurked on this thread for many many months, and I agree with everything said here... the J&J Showgram are just phoning it in. They don't even try anymore. So, now that we are suspecting that "The Powers the Be" are reading this thread, why not post about "The Good Old Days" and what we used to like about the show?

I REALLY miss Talk to Tuesdays. I know those are contrived, and that Jeff isn't actually hitting the buttons live. However, some of them were pure genius.

Do Stuff to Randy days were good sometimes, sometimes not. But they were better than the dribble they do now. Danger Boy was really good.

I remember many years ago, back in '98 or so, they would send Tommy, Randy or Laura out in public to do wacky stuff. One time Laura had to get on the intercom at SavOn and ask for a price check on tampons or something. When Furbys were all the rage, Tommy got on the intercom at WalMart and said they got a new shipment in Aisle 12.

(I know these things were probably contrived, too, but at least they were entertaining.)

I think the biggest thing that has led to the demise of J&J is @%$&*# reality TV. They used to talk about tv shows a bit, like Sex and the City, etc... but now they will spend THE ENTIRE SHOW talking about American freakin' Idol. There is no ingenuity in regurgitating what happened on a rigged reality show. Get a fresh idea and actually entertain us again. That's your job!!!

I also bought Sirius satellite. What a delight. And I can listen to it all day at work which is wonderful. But, I will admit, I still tune into J&J for a second, to see if they have changed. What a disappointment. I have never heard of three people who talk about themselves so much. Jef, Jer and Laura. I don't hear this from other DJ's on other radio stations.

I have been a lurker for months now, so I might as well jump in too. I agree with the comments about the staleness of the show. I have been listening for six years now since I moved to San Diego. It has gotten me through many mornings driving my stepdaughter to school, keeping the silence filled and giving us topics to talk about. But now? Either the show is on vacation or a commercial break. Fortunately, I am at work by the time they start replaying everything.

Here's what I used to like: a) Caller "contests" where the morning show tried to find out who could get a celebrity to call in, callers who have ever (fill in the blank), and people calling in their best and worst jobs, songs, etc...
b) when Jer or Tommy used to talk about their kids and their activities. Not going on and on, but anecdotes parents like us could relate to.
c) Randy doing stunts or just talking. Ok, he isn't smooth or have a radio voice, but I had to laugh.
d) I like Rick a lot, but there are just too many personalities vying for the mic in the morning now that they have moved to the latest station

Things I would change?
a) no more commercials by Jeff, Jer or Laura
b) charity deeds done all year long. Becky's House only has one event and that concert's attendance has to be down now that it has virtually the same artists every year
c) more celebrity or other interviews with outside people
d) Laura's diary done on a more frequent basis. And why does she keep writing all the dangerous things she does with her kids? CPS gets called for a lot less.

If you want to read the Daily Dirt before she gets around to posting it, go to Kidd Kraddick's morning show web page in Dallas. www.kiddlive.com (BTW, that is where JC from the radio station here whose name escapes me is working.) Yeah, it is word for word what Laura supposedly writes. Then laugh at all the bits Jeff and Jer do which are the same as what Kidd does. I know they get ideas at the DJ conference, but come on. That means J and J think even less.

Enough for now,

It was also funny when they actually did stuff on remote - not sending Randy or Tommy to do it for them - actually getting J&J out of their air-conditioned studios to actually DO something in the field.

And, anything without Laura is great. She drags the show down. No one can relate to her. She's way too self involved and her stories about her kids are kinda scary to me.

I would call the show "Survivor Radio" or "American Idol Radio" because that would be all they talked about.

The problem is they have so many people in that studio that they just talk about what interests them and not the listeners. And let's face it, Laura is only interested in herself and I get tired of hearing them talk about her.

They need to realize that they have listeners, even if it only is eleven of them.

Even if any of them actually do read any of this thread there really is no incentive for them to do anything differently. They have their contracts in place and like someone else said here, Jerry is probably going to retire after this contract is up and who knows what the rest of them will do but they have a long time on this contract left so why work anything any differently just yet? It is and always has been ALL ABOUT THEM, no matter how they try to play things any other way.

I don't listen to regular radio at all anymore. There are so many genre radio stations in satellite that you have a huge variety of music and talk radio. The music stations on Sirius don't have commercials and the talk stations have a few commercial breaks but they only last about 90 seconds total for each break. It's good value for the money. Especially since I can login to my account and listen online at work for no additional cost.

I purchased a portable XM Radio (Tao) last Christmas. I couldn't get any coverage in my office (granted, I sit in a cave:gle: ), and I couldn't get decent coverage at home. I moved (not because of this:rolleyes: ), and couldn't get decent coverage at the new home. I purchased an antenna booster and extender to access the southern sky better - nada. I ended up cancelling the service. Sirius may be better on coverage, not sure. But, before you run out and get one of these satellite services, find out what the coverage is in your area. And if you sit in a small, dark hovel like I sit in, don't bother....you won't get coverage.

I'd rather listen to static (or J&J - same thing) than waste $13 a month on something that doesn't work. But, on the upside, the Tao radio makes a great paperweight.

LOL, the satellite technology does have room for improvement. I have the radio in my car and the signal cuts out if you are sitting under an overpass. I found this happens in San Diego but doesn't happen when I'm in Las Vegas or Los Angeles.

It's great while I'm in the car because my commute is 30min each way and when I'm at work I just listen on the computer with headphones.

...Look, can you get them to dump Laura off the show? and tell all the advertisers that folks boycott them if they use her...and heck, just go ahead and take her place. She's the blister on the heel of the show, as far as I am concerned.

I like Je&J's sense of humor...Rick's is growing on me, and Randy has a reason to be there. The ones I left off, kick em to the curb. They drag on the show, they do not add.

Not that I have an opinion on this or anything.

Oh, dear, I am really jumping into the fray now. Boris, so what if Jer is what you say in his personal life? If you are with consenting adults and no children are aware of your interest in being a porn star, having a boob fetish, or a sex life what's the problem? Give him garbage for being snobby on the air, but leave his private life alone. I am in a profession which is often held to a higher moral standard. Would I like my clients to know what turns me on? No! I'm not hurting anyone.

Are you implying that Kristen has cancer because she dyes her hair, or that Jeff is going to get it? Lots of supposedly scientific claims are unproven. I am sure that many of us consume aspartame, caffeine, barbecued foods, and use cell phones. Most likely we aren't at risk for cancer. And we probably don't all look like models, either. Do don't pick on her unless she appears on the air and gives you something concrete to say.

Thanks - just trying to crack a few smiles. The bottom line is - the members of the showgram set themselves up for criticism - especially Jeff, Jer, and the mom of the yeat (aka Laura "I'm broke but have a new BMW and kitchen" Cain. Randy is strange but not as bad in my book - just a geek trying to make his way in the world. Rick is pretty OK in my book - a little hard to read though. If they weren't so hypocritical there'd be fewer darts to throw. You make a lot of money, you a well off - fine - admit it. Don;t complain about making ends meet, go on and on about how $300 is too much for a hotel (Jeff) - and then says you spent $500 on deoderant and $50 per day on Pilates. Come on! Or, J&J - just stay AWAY from these topics entirely. Face it - the $500 deodorant crowd isn't your listening base. Stick with topics that would be identifiable by the masses (I know this is a toughie - so think back to when you were living in Detroit or something - use your Uta Hagen Sense Memory acting skills -whatever - just do it). Oh, and just so that you know - the Suave stuff at Target works just as well as your new-fangled, gold-infused, underarm "herbal de-odor balm". And, when they're collecting up all of the gel deodorant at the airport security screening (while on your weekend trip to Milan, Jerry), you'll thank me in advance.

Think before you speak - will this be something that everyone can relate to? If not, don't say it. I can't relate to a $300 hotel room (unless, of course, my company is paying for it - then I say "where's the mini-bar?").

And, last but not least, take Laura's mic away from her - she's beyond help. No one understands(or even cares) about her self-absorbed, lack-of-child-rearing ways. NO ONE. Give her mic to Randy - HE reaches your target demographic WAY better than Laura ever will.

Oh, my goodness. I am laughing too hard to type. I was born in the '50's very near Jer's home in Ohio. I teach around 140 teenagers every day and to me, make up is mostly a pain in the behind. (That cuts out Mary Kay...) A nun? No. List me under "questioning". As for the higher standard, imagine having a job where every cuss word you utter is remembered for years. If I want to hint at my views on sex or religion, it is sure to be repeated to some parent who calls me on my beliefs. And I will never forget the day I got caught in the grocery store by an entire family with only a pack of condoms and a bottle of wine in my cart. That was twenty years ago and I still recall that frozen moment.

In a larger sense, the J & J show is under much more scrutiny. I know, we all knew what we were getting into. That's why I keep such a low profile. But Laura, Jeff, Jer, and Tommy don't make the attempt. Gosh, 75% of the negative stuff I remember about them is information they chose to tell in great detail. Sure, there is a sense of voyeristic attention hearing it all, but it doesn't seem like their ratings are proving they are on the right track.
