roflmao Josh is 7. He learned how to do the crawl, the backstroke, tread water in the deep end well, how to glide, change positions in floating/swimming, etc. Before, he was pretty scared about putting his face in the water (he'd do bobs grudgingly but he'd pause after each one and wipe his face). Now, he was going down the slide, bobbing 30 or so times without stopping, going to the bottom of the shallow end and opening his eyes to search for pennies, and today he even jumped off the high diving board, which is a huge thing for him. So we are ecstatically pleased! :D

Nice. I used to teach swimming and it was always nice to see the look of accomplishment on kids faces when they got over their fear and learned to enjoy the water.

THe only negative was when there were "accidents".....trust me we had more chlorine in the water than anything. When that happened, the pool was closed until the bacteria level dropped to a safe level. The worst was when we had 2 accidents in 1 afternoon.
