It was my daughter's first birthday on Thursday, Aug 4. We are having a birthday party for her and my son (since his bday's in a week) on Aug 13, but Daddy just had to give his princess a cake ON her birthday. Thought I'd share the pics with you as they are cute!

Her full name is Allicyn Amalia. She was named after Tim's grandmother, Alice, and my grandmother, Amalia. But I didn't really want Alice as her name, but wanted to keep the main part of her name as a derivitive, so after many, many hours of trying to come up with something, we got Allicyn. It's kinda cool because my mom's name is Carolyn, so we tell my mom that she's in there too!

Thanks all! I think that 3rd pic is so funny. That was when her sugar high was really kicking in. The whole time she kept flapping her arms like that screaming "EEEWWWWWW!!!"
