Okay, so I was on LOWERMYBILLS.COM (http://www.lowermybills.com/billpayplus/index.jsp?trackingId=HOME_RD_PAGE~top_nav~1850~1336) and saw that their Bill Pay service is free, which beats my bank's $5.95 per month fee...

Is this company reputable?

What Bill Pay service do ya'll use?

I think either Washington Mutual or Wachovia (or both) let you do it for free, if you're worried about reputation.

The only way that mine is free is if I have some Premier Account, which I don't. Since I've got the standard account, the fee for me is $5.95.

I'm going to stop by the bank today and see what's up.

In any case, so no one has used that lowermybills site? Does it seem reputable at all?

I'm obsessed with Citibank. Use them for everything, including BillPay. Obsessed, I tell you. Making 3.5% interest on my savings now too!

I used to use PayPay's free BillPay (and occasionally still did after an eBay sale or something), but I believe I got a note from them saying they were axing the program.

Edit: Forgot to comment on LowerMyBills.com --- I get an email from them and have for a long time, I think I signed up for something awhile back. They seem legit to me but I can't directly comment as I haven't used anything recently. From the tour though, it looks like they're using the exact same account "aggregator" features that I get from Citibank - one of the best features of my account.

Edit2: Account aggregator feature is "powered by Yodlee".

Thanks for the comments, Ben. My main concerns were getting out the non-credit card bills out on time. I'm always hesitant for things nowadays that are "free", you know what I mean?

I think I just might have to sign up for it, though. :)

HSBC, Citi, washington mutual, and commerce definatelly have free bill pay.
I have my credit cards set to withdraw from my checking account and i charge everything to the credit cards, thus no problem there :)
