This is cool, and an excellent business idea:

About your driver
Since 1989 Tad Pierson, owner and driver, has successfully led safaris across the backroads of America, into the downtown neon of Saturday night. Mr. Pierson received his master's degree from the University of New Mexico. Before founding American Dream Safari he taught English as a Second Language in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He is uniquely trained in antique automoblie restoration and has driven over a quarter of a million miles, largely on the American road system, but also behind the wheel on some of the world's most treacherous highways.

Those travelers in search of cultural exposure, language, historical perspectives, the lonesome wail of a distant freight train and the sting of a blues guitar in a hot juke joint will find the know-how and road mastery of this tour guide reassuring, as well as entertaining. and fun.

Very cool...

A friend of mine just got back from a bus tour to Tennessee and the surrounding area. He couldn't believe how depressed and crime-ridden Memphis is. Frankly, after listening to him, I will pass on a tour of that city.

I dunno - I travel fairly regularly and have yet to see any city where there were places that one shouldn't venture. The proprietor of this service sounds pretty street-savvy.
