Not bad deal for renting DVD's online. You pay some flat fee and get unlimited rentals. Read up on it here (http://www.netflix.com/Default.asp?cookieCheckPassed=on)

I didn't like Netflix because their turnaround time was too slow greatly limiting how many dvd's I could rent in a month. I live on the east coast, I would suppose that if someone lived in the west coast, this would be less of an issue.

I got a free month of rentals with the purchase of my DVD player. Turnaround was about 5 days here in the midwest, and I ended up with like 12 for the month. I thought that was pretty good until the next month I only rented 8. That was enough of that.

I love Netflix. Even if their turn arouns is five days for $20.00 if you get the have four moives at home service as long as you rent 6 movies a month which would be two turn arouns it is cheaper than block buster and hollywood video and you don't have to worry about getting them back. I love netflix and have had no problems with them

I live on the east coast and the turnaround is a little too slow to take full advantage of unlimited rentals.

I live in southern CT and it works for me.
Even if you make 8 movies in a month - that's already twice the amount you would get from Blockbuster at that price, not including the hassle with driving there, returning, etc...
On top of it comes Blockbuster's tiny DVD choice against Netflix's 7000 DVD's !
