So is there anyone else out there in an international relationship? My Sweetie lives in England and I live in California and we are both struggling artists. Of course. Only I am a struggling artist (writer) with school loans and he is one with a mortgage. We spent a week together in October and then 3 months this year (Feb-April) and have been apart since. Although we talk everyday, we miss each other sick-bad. :neartears

I would move out there to be with him in a heartbeat, but I have bills to pay and he's not rich enough to be my sugar daddy, durnit!

Is there anoyone else in a similar predicament? I would really love to feel that I am not the only eejit who fell in love with someone two countries, 8 time zones, and one ocean apart! Advice? Sympathy? Sorry enough for me to send me money? (Haha!) Thanks!

P.S. Gawds, I love this board - there really is space for everything!!

A girl (lady? heh) who used to be an active member on here did. She eventually married him. :)

Luckily for me, I met my hubby when he was only in the state above me. ;)

Welcome to GA btw! :)

I'm seeing many supermodels I met in chat rooms. They are all too busy to meet me :P

I hope I am as lucky as the lady you are speaking of! I miss my Limey an awful lot. Sigh...

mike's (my SO) cousin fell in love with this English chap... his uncle was so touched by how dedicated they were to having a committed long distance relationship that he paid for her plane ticket to England. Eventually her bloke moved out here and now they're married with little kids running around. :) don't worry... things will work out for you two

All i can say is good luck. 3 time zones was enough for me. I couldn't take it.
