HDD not found

my dad has a newer HP desktop. he has data from the hard drive from his old desktop. i pull the old HDD and pop it into the new desktop. the primary channel only has a master connection for the system drive. so i added it as the slave to the secondary channel. doesn't show up. any ideas? i probably have to play with the jumper settings, huh? TIA! :)

Do cable select on all jumpers and see if they both come up. Most likely they will - it's less confusing to a system a lot of the times to go CS than to specify master/slave.
