I am looking to train up and get my msce requirements. But thye say have a few computers to toss a server 2003 on and some other things. So i was wondering what y'all know to be the cheapest functioning computers... Go to ebay? On overstock.com has desktops for 240 so i imagine those would work.
I just wondered if anyone knew of some place to get like 100 dollar pos but still working computers to work with. Just need the tower.

Go to your local flea market... I'm sure someone has a POS PC that they'll sell you really cheap.

BTW... are you anywhere in the Midwest?
I've got friends that probably could hook you up with an OLD PC if that is what you are looking for. They make GREAT paper weights and door stops! :heh:

If you're near any college campus, I'd check there first. I know most universities have some sort of surplus store. I go every Tuesday here at ISU.
You never know what you'll find. I'd say look at some surplus store, they generally have decent deals on OLD multiproc systems or servers of the like.
Other than that.. ebay it.. or soemthing the others have already suggested :)
