so yea, i've decided to swap out my whole stock system...all it's missing is a sub...which i've yet to decide if its all that worth-while...that would have to wait for later at any rate (i haven't thoroughly researched amps and subs)...

With that deck, you won't need a sub, unless you like the in-the-chest-irritating-the-neighbors-and-telling-thieves-to-break-my-window-to-steal-someting bass. (I have a premier 5500MP-great HU)

He can run those speakers without an amp. It just wont be soo loud or use the full potential of the speakers.

Subwoofer is nice. If you want hassle free and something just to compliment the mid and highs, get a small tube or something. I have a 6" bazooka in my mr2 and it kicks out decent bass. If you want gangsta bass though, ....... :neartears
