do i need all this stuff installed by ibm??

juts got a new intel centrino ibm t74 (or some number whatever) laptop. do i really need all the connection management software and what not or can i just use the windows stuff?

We skip the connection management software on our Thinkpads at work. I've seen some folks on the forums here discuss using it.

i just uninstalled it and went to try to control f5 and turn on the wireless and it told me it couldnt start or something...any ideas?
