I'm currently on hold with these %#$%@$^@^%%$^#%^#!$%#$%-ers. Been on hold for 30 minutes. I've blown more than 150 of my cell minutes listening to crap orchestral musak during the month of August alone.
Buy.com-you lost my business.
Frys-you lost my business.
Good job farming out your rebates, you morons. The DMV is more customer service oriented.

Except Costco. You can submit rebates online without mailing anything, and they always come through in a reasonable amount of time.

I don't buy anything with a rebate anymore. Way too much hassle.

Dell SB rebates come reliably right at 6 weeks! Like clockwork right when you stop thinking about them, BAM! $100 smakers! (Ive gotten over a dozen rebates from them, all of them took just about exactly 6 weeks)

Really? :spock:
I like the Staples Easy Rebates too, but have never heard of that.
How long do you have to return an item? 30 days? Their rebates come fast, so that could work.

i didn't do it to try and scam them.
i returned the item to the store a couple days after i received it, and i thought that would automatically cancel out the rebate, but it didn't.
the girl must not have entered it into the computer or something.

I don't have any real problem with Fry's rebates. I probably lost 3 rebates total over the last 3 years. :D

I keep very meticulous records and scan everything, so I am yet to lose a rebate in as many years (even Soyo came through after 7 months). But, two rebates very recently have gone sour, because these jokers didn't accept the "Master Packing Slip" sent from buy.com as a reciept and the Fry's one got sent to the wrong address, even though I attached a mailing label to the rebate form.
