Happy holidays! I really hope you’ve been enjoying your membership in Community 104. We couldn’t be more excited about it, and I wanted to personally thank all of you – whether you’ve been with us from the beginning, or just signed up today!

Over the holidays, we’ll be making a few behind-the-scenes technical changes to our Community. I’ll spare you the boring details; the short version is, our engineers are upgrading some of the software and hardware needed to run the program. In order to do this, we’ll need to take Community 104 off-line beginning Wednesday, December 21st at 12:01am.

Don’t worry! Community 104 is not going away…and neither are your credits!! We’re just taking a brief, two-week hiatus to get things ready for a BIG year in 2006.

We’ll be back on-line, new and improved, by January 3rd. In the meantime, you can continue earning credits—and redeeming them for great rewards—right up until December 21st. We’ll be adding new rewards and gift ideas on Main Street and the 104 Freeway every day, so make sure you check those pages at least once a day!

Here’s a quick recap of our holiday season schedule:

December 21: Community 104 goes off-line at 12:01am. You will not be able to redeem any Extra Credit codes or purchase rewards at this point. However, you may still pick-up rewards you have already won.
December 22: KBIG offices close for the holiday at noon. This is the last day to pick-up prizes before Christmas!!
December 27: KBIG offices reopen at 9am. You may once again pick-up prizes during regular business hours.
January 2: In celebration of the New Year’s holiday, KBIG offices will be closed.
January 3: KBIG offices and Community 104 both re-open for the new year! You will once again be able to log on, spend credits, and pick-up prizes and rewards.

:agree: No kidding, talk about re-inventing the wheel. Clear Channel is actually the parent company for the radio stations, not their ISP. They're probably using Verizon for their corporate ISP. I think it is server capacity, not ISP bandwidth that is the problem.

Sorry, I was referring to the very first one ONLY because when I tried again at 150 and 450 I had no problems. Star gave us sympathy because people could not log on with the 1st two tries but when they resolved the problem, then you HAD to go in at that time

The 5 minute window is just during the "new server testing period", which is happening during their program downtime. They're incenting users to put a load on their server during the test. The best way to do that is to give us a short window in which to access the server.

Once they start up again next year, we will be able to enter codes at various times of the day.

I got in OK using the http://www.m2omedia.com/kbig link. But, my co-worker tried earlier using http://www.kbig104.com/pages/community104 and got the same errors as you did. Looks like they haven't properly forwarded the old page to the new. :throw:
