Labor Day Weekend Plans?

working on a paper. kicked out of the house cuz it's having an open house tomorrow (2nd week on the market). hopefully leaving for DC on monday.

Resting gently and then lamenting that I live in Huntington Beach, but am still too far away to get good parking to hang out at the beach. I should fire up the grill.

I'm off to Garden City until Tuesday to visit Scott's parents & all our friends from out there. Gonna go out to eat with my friend Kathryn on Monday for lunch then she & her hubby & Scott & I are going to the movies & dinner Monday night.

Saturday - Best friend from my younger days, now a cousin by marriage getting married himself. Will get the chance to see a lot of people who I haven't seen in a long time. Should be a blast.

Sunday - Sister throwing an end of summer '05 BBQ for the entire family. Should be a blast.

Monday - Good ol' R&R for the better part of the day. Knowing the in-laws, they will invite us over for another BBQ.

I won tickets to the NASCAR race at Fontana. Will be driving up for the race.

One of Audrey's friends is moving. Her father is getting out after 24 yrs in the AF and moving to TN. They have been together (with 2 other girls) for the past 5 years. So, last night (Friday) we had our Girl Scout meeting, and the "4 muskateers" stayed for an over night. Tonight they come here for an over night.

Today, I clean house, finish putting up a fence, and probably work a bit :)

Sunday is our anniversary. Dunno what is going to happen on that day (rest hopefully)

Monday, Get the kids ready for school. And in bed by 8:30 so I can wake Audrey up at 4:30 for school.

Saturday: Big BBQ (It was a blast!) Sunday: Taking someone to the airport, hopefully busting through security with them. Monday: Relaxation day. Watch some movies & hang out at the house. Who can afford to drive anywhere??

My weekend plans changed to "Sit at home" right after I got my car back from the mechanic. I was just having maintenance done. However, my car decided to start spewing coolant like there was no tommorow. The mechanic didn't do anything to the coolant system, or at least he shouldn't have...
I suppose I will be taking it in to a different mechanic on Tuesday.

1. stained/sanded/stained again/sanded again/sealed my front door
2. fixed a 2' square hole in my closet ceiling where I had to go into my attic to run a Cat-5 and RG-6 cable
3. moved furniture around
4. built my weiner a new wooden dog house and sanded/stained/sealed it.
5. tomorrow's chores...
