hard to fathom really, but my grandparents had their 60th wedding anniversary today. i attribute it to love, luck, and fate.
what is the longest wedding anniversary anyone has celebrated in your family?

my grandparents had their 50th a little less than 10 years back....but my grandfather is dead now...so I'm not sure how many years they got up to before he died.

My grandparents also reached their 50th. I think they probably hit 55th before my grandfather passed away. Funny thing, I never really thought they had a great love-match until towards the end. Neither of my grandparents were big on public affection, but after my grandpa died, I heard the story of their love, and after that, every thing I learn about their relationship just makes me hope that my marriage turns out as good as theirs.

Mine made it to 72 on my Dad's side. They are both gone now. She was 93 and he almost made it to 97. We had a big party for the 70th and I got to see a lot of relatives I had not seen in a long time- some 25 years. My other grandparents are about 60 years of marriage and still going. Good Pennsylvania Dutch stock and hard working people!

My grandparents are on 68. They're awesome. And my grandpa still does sweet stuff like buying flowers for my grandma. Awwwwwww. :)
