I've had a huge problem with this over the years but I have found that time is really the only thing that helps...I just recently had to fire someone I cared about for various reasons and I find it hard not to want to go back to her but if you can stay busy time will heal and someone else even better will come along...

unfortunately there's not much that'll make it easier to get over her. it just takes some time. and if i may, i'm assuming that there's some pain associated with this. i believe that the reason for the pain is b/c we cling to the notion that there's still a chance. the quicker you come to terms of what the truth is (and since i'm not sure what your situation, i'm not sure of the real truth), the sooner the pain will stop.
