When I was younger I read 'The Stand' by Stephen King about 7 times.

'Swan Song' by Robert McCammon. If you liked The Stand, you'll like this one. Same premise, different execution of the story.

Earnest Hemingway's, "In our Time", a collection of short stories by him and published in 1925. One story in that book pretty much defined how I am as an outdoorsman today.

I enjoyed King Rat.
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is my favorite comedic book (although I enjoyed the original radio broadcast more...)

Sun Tzu - The Art of War. No matter how many times I read it I get new insights in dealing with people and situations.

Oh! I love me some Rober McCammon. "Blue World" is probably my favorite by him. It's a collection of 13(?) short stories, the best, in my not-so-humble opinion was "Yellowjacket Summer."

Scary.

Milton's Paradise Lost. Kinda the only thing I can think of. I was defined more by my music than by my literature. I'm also a fan of The Great Gatsby and Emma :shifty:

The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli. Definitely gave me a much better outlook on life.

Guns, Germs, and Steel for nonfiction.
Fiction is tougher, but I'd probably go with Lord of the Rings. F**kin' hobbits, man. F**kin' hobbits. :)

Does anyone expect me to say anything other than the Bible? Other than that? There's so much I want to say. Wow... there really are so many good ones, I'm going to leave this blank. I'd like to say that I'll get back to it, but odds are that I'll just forget anyways.
... I'd probably go with Lord of the Rings. F**kin' gay hobbits, man. F**kin' gay hobbits. :) :hmm:

Phillip K Dick is probibly one of the greatest sci-fi authors of the 19th century. They are still making movies based on his short storys and novels.

Hey RAY, I own Wolverine #1-12. I bought them new in the sack, I figured they might be the baseball cards of my generation. Was I right? I still have them in my parents' house.

When I was a kid, my favorite book was "I want to go home" by Gordon Korman. It was absolutely hilarious. Anyone ever read it?
