Hi, i've finished up my new system and it has onboard video for now, but i really need to upgrade. i've been thinking about the 6600gt, but i can also get the 6800 256 for around 20 or so more. my budget is around 160, which card should i get? i can also buy a card off anyone here who wants to sell

You miss out on the Woot deal this weekend (BFG Tech GF6800 OC 128MB for $149.99 + $5 shipping).

I would suggest either the 6600GT or 6800.

are you sold on Nvidia, or are you open to ATI?

For the $$ the 6800 is a much better deal. BTW: Newegg's refurb area is a great place to snipe a great deal or two.

It was an AGP and I didn't know that you need a PCI-Express card since you didn't state it in the original post. :D

Never bought anything from Woot. Are things they sell warrantied or guaranteed or "as is"? Could be important on some of the things I have seen people here talk about.
