I just got my laptop back from Dell for warranty service. Yeah, it sucks having to send it in, but that happens with laptops. The good news is they replaced my 4x Sony DVD+R with a new NEC 8x DVD+-R dual layer drive. They also turned it around fast. :thumb:
What really sucks is their choice of carrier. DHL sat on my "overnight" package for 16 days! I called to complain, and they said there's no excuse for that, and I should be receiving a personal apology from the manager of our local branch. Oh boy.

Lol - thats funny. before Airborne Express and DHL merged, I was on a first name basis with my Airborne delivery driver because of my of my Dell issues. It always came back quick but broken.

Anytime I get anything from DHL - at least the past 6 times. It's either : A) box crushed, B)item in box broken or C)driver is a real jerk.
They are quite possibly one of the worst carriers I've dealt with.

Ordered a mobo once and it was shipped DHL. The bastard didn't even ring the doorbell, or knock, just left a notice on the door, and I was home too.
