So I am home in Florida, watching my younger sister, taking care of the pets, and generally taking care of anything and everything that comes up. Of course this entails getting up at 6:30am every morning because my sister apparently doesnt have an alarm clock. *grrrr*
But even if she did have an alarm clock, I would still be getting up because I have to drive her to and from school every day. Yep....I get to be her personal driver! If I were 13 years younger, I would think that driving onto her campus wasnt bad as there is no question that there is a ton of eye candy wearing very revealing clothes walking about...especially in the afternoon. Unfortunately, I am not 13 years younger, which makes me feel like a dirty old man on each of these trip into jailbait hell. (I should probably clarify that my actual thought is more along the lines of "Why didnt they dress like that when I was in high school" and "I keep getting older but the girls seem to stay the same age" rather than anything illicit.)
To make matters even more fun is that the dog and cat are not normal dogs and cats. For example, the cat comes with me everytime I walk the dog. The dog wakes me up at 3:40am to let the cat in from ourside. I have not slept through the night since I got here. The dog has woken me up for either the cat(2), food(1), water (1), to go out (3), or for some other unknown reason(2). The dog also loves to drink out of the bidet....she follows me into the bathroom, stands by the bidet and wont leave until I turn it on for her to drink.
The cat has a propensity to drink out of my fathers waterpik reservior....or the dogs bowl. Otherwise she just hangs around me whenever she is inside. I should probably say that she hates most people....clawing/biting them all the time. With me, she follows me around like a dog, sits on my lap, and/or climbs into bed with me. Before anyone says, well she is your cat...shes not. She is officially my younger brothers cat. Other than being home on vacations, I have never lived with her.
Now that I have covered the dog/cat/my lack of sleep, I should probably mention that my sister is at that age where its dangerous to leave her around boys. At least thats my fathers thought.....as he has asked me to just stay home all the time and not go out with my friends. I can understand it on one hand, but its really boring on the other. I guess it might be a different story if she didnt have male friends who live in the same general area as we do who she has over unexpectedly.
Thus, when I say that ALL I am doing is watching my sister/house/pets, I mean that 98%+ of the time this trip is those activities. I am giving myself 2% off for having dinner with a friend one night while my sister was at school.
Yep.....I am bored stiff.
