about a week ago-I forwarded an email (cartoons) to a friend of mine, from another friend from high school...I know it went to the right address because I checked it..anyway..4 days ago, I received an email from a woman named Sue, who left me this message...
"Those were great – I needed a laugh this morning. I almost hate to ask but how is everyone doing there?? Did I tell you that I’m going to see Neil D. on Thursday nite free? My friend has 2 tickets so we’re going & I’m taking Fri. off as I know we’ll be home late. Later, sue"

I replied with:
Hi Sue..sorry, but I think you sent this email to the wrong person. (since I don't have a clue who you are)..I got my original mail from XXX in Rochester New York. Perhaps you got my address off one of the forward lists..but I wanted to let you know, just so that you could resend your email to the person it belongs to. Enjoy seeing Neil D. (Diamond right?)..and it's a good thing I DON'T tell you whats going on here -you'd be sorry you asked..(count your blessings!)...I hope you find the address for the person you are looking for..have a nice day. :)

anyway, since then, we've been exchanging some pretty hysterical emails..first, her thanking me for letting her know the wrong person got the mail, and then her sending me more cartoons with notes that say "hope you enjoy them.. etc.."..for her spamming me, it's become quite a laugh to receive the mail-she sounds very much like Erma Bombeck....I still haven't found out who sent her the mail that had me on the forward list..so wierd, but amusing none the less..
has this ever happened to anyone else?

yeah, it's happened to my ex before. her name is A____C____ and her email address is [email protected] well, someone wrote an email to [email protected] so she wrote back telling them they have the wrong AC. and they exchanged emails for a while.

it's fun to connect with people by flukes like that.
i remember watching where this girl and a friend were just driving along and she got the idea to wave to the guy next to them in traffic cause he was cute. so he waved back and they ended up sharing email addys by yelling through the car windows while still in traffic.
long story short, they are now married.

if there would have been a few seconds difference in either of their car trips that day for whatever reasons they never would have met up.

flukes can turn into great things. :)

Little do you know that "Sue" is going to reveal that she's a Nigerian Princess who's escaped to Australia and she needs your help extracting her royal inheritage ... ;)
