Pressure Cooker

I've been thinking about getting a pressure cooker to speed up the cooktimes for like stew and stuff. Anyone have a brand or model recommendation? I found a 6qt one on Amazon with some digital timer doodad for like $40 bucks. Any dangers or are the safety features pretty make it idiot proof if you RTFM. No steam burns or explosions happen to anyone ? :dead:

It seems like a few decades ago that pressure cookers were the norm, but now I think they are more of a rarity (perhaps displaced by the crock pots?). I think that nutritionists are kind of down on the high heat cooking, as it destroys a lot of the goodies in the foods.
