Well, my car was parked near Fells Point/Canton in downtown B-more and a drunk driver side swiped the car. The driver side fender and front door are toast, and the back door has some damage. I was lucky that an off duty cop and a security guard saw the accident and arrested the driver for DUI and assualt with a deadly weapon. He was charged with the latter b/c he tried to run the cop down.

So anyone know of a good body shop in the Balt/DC area?

:gle: I am so sorry to hear! I don't know of any in Bmore - maybe your car insurance can give some good suggestions?

No, thankfully, I wasn't in the car. It was parked on the street and was hit in the middle of the night. I hope the car isn't totalled either.

I bet the loser didn't have a license, much less insurance.

Actually I think the guy was so drunk that he didn't see the cop. We will see. My insurance company is checking into it for me.

No Steve-o was not the punk, at least I don't think so. I am going to go up to B-more tomorrow or later today for a police report.
