hey everyone. now that it's getting a bit chilly, i need to invest in a space heater. preferably something <$40 for my room. so far, i seem to like the delonghi DFH470M with digital thermostat and 3 setting. it can be had for just ~$40 on ebay.
i'm new to space heaters though; never needed one in CA. G|A-ers have any suggestions?
thanks! :)

Try WalMart! They have quite a bit for under that price!

Looked on Epinions...no reviews. So couldn't tell you about the "likablity factor".

What kind of space heater? Oil, ceramic, etc?
I personally think heater/fans work best.

er, i guess ceramic. i don't want to deal with oil. and heater/fan is fine. just looking for something anyone has used and like that is $40 or less.

Boscovs has a Pelonis ceramic heater with thermostat for just under $40. I believe shipping is free over $50. It's small and safe.

Make sure your landlord don't mind. My lease stipulates that I not have any space heaters at all.

he's the one telling the tenants to use them since natural gas heating bills will be through the roof while electricity prices are capped at a some percentage. hehe

I was going to get the one at Boscovs. So I stopped at Home Depot, I bought a small Holmes, 2 setting ceramic unit with thermostat for $17.99
