It's a How-To on making a bookcase hide the entrance to a door/room and using a book on the bookcase to swing open the bookcase to the room. If I had a house I'd consider it.

I know somebody who is an avid gun collector (WWII and Class 3 stuff, worth well over $300k). He's got a triple wide built-in bookshelf where the middle section is a door to his hidden gun room. But instead of a dowel to lock it, pull out a big book and there's a keypad which unlocks the door.

Oh that is so damn cool. I only wish my house is big enough for that kind of mechanism! lol. You know what?! It'd be cool to build one of those bookshelves right outside the bathroom, rofl!

Ummmm... yeah....

On this shelf the left-most book is an old Sherlock Holmes book that I picked up (quite apt for its new purpose I thought.)

wow. that is cool. i'm surprised at how little he had to cut off the left side of the bookcase for it to clear. (the radiused part)

the hinge is also well done. I would expect it to have a larger gap.
anyways, definite coolness.
