I've been looking to improve my drive space lately and the best I could find is a 61.2G Maxtor internal IDE Hard Drive for $239 from Outpost.com... does anyone know of any place I could get a larger drive, or a cheaper drive? (or both)

I havn't been watching the large HD's lately but check the posts at http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=9269 You could get two of the 30 gig quantums for $100 each after rebates and then do raid.

Comp geeks had an 80 gigger by Maxtor for 240 or so. . . but looks like they sold out. They do have a 45 gigger diamond max for 199, not bad price. Check it out here: http://www.compgeeks.com/cgi-bin/details.asp?cat=NewArrivals&sku=205-5462

actually- the 80GB from compgeeks was more like $330. Big diffence. But the cheapest I found- and i'm abotu to buy one- is the Maxtor 60GB at buy.com for $220 after the $30 coupon. The outpost one is pretty close though. Hope someone can beat this!!!!!
