so i'm living in a temporary-type situation at my uncle's place, and the room i'm staying in is arranged in such a way that my computer is set up on a very low, square-shaped coffee table type of thing. that being the case, if i need to be on my computer for an extended amount of time, i have to sit on the floor cross-legged and hunched over this coffee table.

in short, my legs are falling asleep every ten minutes and my back is killing me.

now, one of my old roommates had this really weird chair thing that i had never seen before. it's basically got a seat and a back, but it doesn't have any legs; it just folds out into the L-shaped seating position, and you set it on the ground so that you have something to give you a bit of back support while you're seated on the ground or a floor.

i desperately need something like this. does anyone know (1) what i am talking about, and (2) where i can find something like this?

TIA for any and all help in this matter...

Sounds kind of like a folding padded seat people take when they sit in bleachers.

Check out the sports section of a department store. Sears, Target and the like.

Try searching for a stadium chair- this is one of the first ones to pop up when I did; http://www.landbigfish.com/tacklestore/showcase.cfm?PID=2959 Or get a wireless keyboard and mouse.

http://ak.com/

They sell 3 versions at Best Buy. One is a plastick frame rocker with cushioned seats. One is a bean bag shaped chair. The third and newest version is the same bean bag shaped chair but the back is adjustable so you can sit up right or move it all the way back to go to sleep.

Found this at Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0009R0WXY/qid=1129780205/sr=8-12/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i12_xgl60/104-2475112-6946349?v=glance&s=home-garden&n=507846

It folds down also as you can see in the picture.

as for the AK thing and a couple of the other suggestions, i need something that sits flat on the ground, because the table i'm using as a desk is really low. but thanks anyway; i'm still checkin things out. :)
