ok i spilled orange juice, with pulp, on my keyboard.. now some keys are sticky, the keyboard needs to be washed, does anyone have expirience of washing the keyboard with water and then letting it dry for like 72 hours?
I mean technically it should work
The keyboard is a wireless one from the Mx-3100 duo by logitech
I've washed my wired keyboard a few times. I didn't use a liberal amount of water so I was able to use it after a couple of hours.

If you do a Google seach on KEYBOARD & DISHWASHER, you'll find a way to wash the keyboard in the dishwasher without destroying it.

I've washed a couple of them.
It killed the USB hub on a MB natural keyboard.

My comp. architecture professor mentioned a couple weeks ago that he had washed his keyboard in the dishwasher. I'd honestly never thought of that.. though last time any of my keyboards got into contact with waterous substances, it smoked heh.. not sure if washing it afterwards did anything lol

Wash it and leave it outside for a couple of days. I've done it many times.

**** it worked, so i noticed that the keyboard has water drains on the bottom so i wasn't really all that carefull, poured some water in, and used the high pressure attachment from my vacuum cleaner to blow all the water out, then i let it dry for about an hour
it's all good now :)
