Masks of Monitors?

Can someone tell me which crt type is better or their personal preference and why, between NEC's slot mask, a shadow mask, and an aperture-grille? If it helps I prefer a monitor that maintains its quality over time. Thanks.

aperture-grille is the best, all the flat screens are aperture-grilles. Its much brighter and the contrast is greater.
