Hey

I have a costume party on friday and the theme is sports. I was wondering if any of you guys had a good idea for a costume...

I was thinking weird sports like bowling, ping-pong player, dodgeball player...

...what else?

For a witty and easy-to-make halloween costume, it doesn't get any simpler than this.
MATERIALS:
Photocopy of a quarter
Cardboard
Duct tape

Time needed: 30 Minutes or Less
1. Enlarge a photocopy of a quarter -- or print our 7 1/2-inch-diameter one here (http://familyfun.go.com/Resources/global/printables/halloween/Quarter_Template.pdf).

2. Glue it to a piece of cardboard cut to the same size, then attach it to your back with loops of duct tape.

'Sup with that? I can't believe someone would let their kid out of the house looking like that...besides, it's not sports related.

Baseball or basketball player would probably be easiest. Or how about a referee? Get you some all white clothes and paint some black stripes on them (or vice versa)...

The kid either needs another quarter to be Fiddy or a big nickel. Otherwise I don't know what singer/rapper/music artist he's trying to dress up as.

Lasat year, I went to a few parties dressed in all black with a big white number 8 taped to my chest. My date at the time was Strawberry Shortcake, so I was sometimes mistaken for her bodyguard. I performed magic tricks with fire, cards, handkerchiefs, money, etc. I was a "magic 8-ball." It took me about 20 minutes to draw a big number 8 on a white sheet of poster paper, cut it out in a circle, and tape it to my chest.

Thought it was creative at the time, but someone else showed up at one party with a huge box type thing attached to him with a window that allowed him to flip a faceted ball around with different messages. Same idea, but different angle. :shrug:

I'm going to be Jim Tressel for Halloween. You should too. Find yourself a red sweater vest / silver tie, or silver sweater vest / red tie. A white dress undershirt. Some Khakis and gray hair spray.
