Hey, this would be kind of cool. So what if you look like a total dickhead driving around town if you could save a few bucks.

I believe some of these don't pay you -- they let you drive around one of their cars (often the VW beetles) that already have ads on them. I believe buzzcar is like this, and maybe freecar as well, whereas myfreecar and autowraps pay you in the range of $300-$500 / month for having ads on the car you already own.

I wonder if you could combine them all. Start with the one that gives you a free car with an ad on it to drive around and then add the others that just put an ad on a car you already own. So, you get free car and $1500/month. Sounds like reverse car payment to me. :)
