Anyone have a preferred place they get their replacement bulbs from? I have a set that won't work without the missing bulb. :dead:

Mine are this type (without the lamp lock): http://www.bettyschristmashouse.com/lights/images/minilite.jpg

Lowes sells the replacement bulbs..so does Big Lots.
But wouldn't it be just more convenient to buy a new set of lights. They are so cheap at Big Lots I have to smack myself for not buying up more than I usually do.

I figured that if I could find some place that sells em for a few cents I could just get that instead of getting a whole new set, which can be expensive if they are a quality set.

My first experience with a set from Wally World wasn't great.. the 50 count Halloween set was about $6 and the blinker bulb died out on me within a few weeks. This set also only limited you to connecting 3 string-to-string sets.

I remember looking at replacement bulbs there last Christmas and they were $4 for 4-5 bulbs.

Yes, I do believe they were AFTER-christmas sales, however, before the holiday they were still reasonable, say 1.50 or 2.00. In other words, check out your local target, especially since it's so close to the holiday, they will probably already be marking down stuff.
