DB25 mouse - do they still exist?

A piece of equipment at my work is so old it uses an old DB25 mouse, which unfortunately has broken. I am trying to find a new one or even a used one in order to continue using the equipment. I can't seem to find one by doing a google search, but was thinking about fashioning one using a couple of adapters. Before I do that, have any of you seen a DB 25 mouse at a store lately? Would a place like Fry's carry a mouse like that?

Is it possible to use a 9-pin serial mouse with a 9-pin to 25-pin adapter?

I think that is probably the best idea Kevster. I was thinking about using a db25 male to db9 female adapter and then just a standard 9-pin serial mouse. That should work don't you think?

Fry's probably has them. If not, they for sure carry the adapter.

If not Fry's check some other local tech shops. They usually carry them b/c there is still a *lot* of hardware out there that doesn't use PS/2. Its more of a specialty item nowadays, so they have been relegated to these local shops.

I went to Fry's and bought a DB25 to DB9 adapter, then I bought a mouse that had PS/2 to DB9 adapter in the box. I connected it, and it is working like a charm. Total cost $14. Thanks for everyone who helped me figure this out!
