Does anyone know of any stores or companies that offer accidental damage warranties for the iPod?

I'd like to get a new iPod video, but 90% of the time I'll be using it at the gym. I'm really worried about dropping it and breaking a $400 iPod, so I'd like to see if I can find a warranty that could cover it. I have an old Creative Nomad II, and I've dropped that thing dozen's of times (even from my bike going 20mph), and it still works like champ. Somehow, I don't think that the iPod could take the same abuse...

"Circuit City Advantage Protection Plan for 2 years on Apple MA003LLA"

And in that one, it says

"6. Exclusions from Coverage. Your Plan does not cover the following: A. REPLACEMENT NECESSITATED BY LOSS OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM ANY CAUSE OTHER THAN NORMAL USE AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER

Just called, and they said that it was about $100 for 25 months. I liked your $60/4years better ;)

At that price, I'd probably skip it. edit: Removed joke that I'm guessing some people wouldn't realize was a joke

I am in the Computer Department and I have no idea about the warranties in the other department..

I sold a Nano couple of days ago and it was $54 for 25 months and it was the accidental damage plan...

Let me know which one you were looking at and I can may be tell me how much it costs..

Staples has Apple color pods and the warranty covered accidental damage and it was cheap over there..

I'm looking for the 60GB Video.

Good idea on Staples, but they only sell the "iPod + HP", which doesn't exist past the 30GB Photo.

Thanks for the help!

Just an idea to throw out there... As much as it is nice to have just one player with all your tunes. Why not get a cheapo super durable solid state player for the gym where you won't care if you drop it, someone swipes it or you get it all sweaty. And treat yourself for a player for the rest of the day. For the cost of accidental warranty or any type of warranty I'd take the two players without the hassle of those warranties can create.

That's actually not too far off from what I'm working on deciding. Basically, I only do, and only will, use an MP3 player at the gym, so I only need one of them. My two choices are an iPod,and a smaller (<$100) solid state MP3 player.

The solid state player would definately be nice, since I wouldn't worry too much about breaking it (both because it's more durable, and because it's far cheaper to replace). However, the iPod would be really good because I could store all of my music, and watch video on it when I wanted.

Not sure what I'm going to do here yet. Just looking at all of the options before I decide.
