I think so - I saw it on TV a while back - I am not sure if it was this girl or another one that isn't aging either and her little sister takes care of her and although the girl is older she needs the attention just like a child and not a teen - I can't watch the video at work - slows down all the computers or something. So - sorry if I am replying and it was on the video and I just didn't know it.

Wow. I don't even know what to say. That's one of the most unusual things I've ever heard of.

i saw this on msn a few weeks back. she still looks like and acts like a 6 month old child. she's the oldest of all 3-4 girls (don't remember)

sad that she will never be able to experience her child/adulthood!

from what i remember this is the only case they've heard of, unless there's been any other within the month

**can you imagine changing diapers and bottle feeding this poor little angel for 12 yrs!

Dayyum. That's crazy. I've heard some parents say that they wished that their kids would stay a baby forever, but that was just playful banter. Man. My heart goes out to her family.

No, this is a great oppertunity to gain medical knowedge. Sucks for the kid, but that's how she was made. No, I am not saying treat her like a gunea pig, but still, some cell samlpes and exames here and there could help her and maybe even a lot of people.

Why Kill her? She isn't constantly in pain or anything. Sure she has had health problems but so have many other people. Interesting case study.

amazing what happens in this world isn't it? She's cute. But the mom looks like one of the people from MaD TV.

I'm very curious from a medical and genetic standpoint as well. How is this occurring? Why? What happened to possibly cause this? Is it genetic or developmental? So many questions...

We had friends with a daughter who had the similar condition. She died when she was 12, but never looked or acted more than three years old. It must not be the same condition as this girl, because whatever she had still had a name.
