Need to spend money, need deals..please help.

Really need your help guys.... my company has given me $4000 to buy a laptop, a digital camera/camcorder, and a scanner. The more money saved, the better, but still looking for quality. Laptop...about 500mhz/128meg ram with a video out (firewire would be a plus).
thw whole package will be used for presenting and creating multimedia presentations....... Turnaround time is like a week. Thanks in advance!

I'm not up on laptops, but I love my Sony DCR-TRV510 digital 8 camcorder. Not only is it a fantastic camcorder, it takes beautiful stills, too. I also have the Epson Perfection 1200U scanner and can vouch for its awesomeness.
