Nothing. Hey whatever floats your boat, but I don't have a boyfriend. I prefer women.

I never leave my house for Black Friday, if I can help it. Trying to get a honey baked ham (that we reserved) for our Thanksgiving today ( girlfriend had duty yesterday ) we have 13 people coming over, and the place seems to still be closed.

I left my house for a total of 20 min to run to the store for milk, I will be going to Grandmas later to help pack the house and I hope to see her new dining set that they spent the day shopping for.

I bought the paper yesterday and nothing besides the cheap DVD called to me. I remember last year I went out to a Best Buy in the West Valley and oh my! People were pushing and shoving and grabbing whatever was in sight! A lot of fire laws were broken!

I went to Target at about 2pm and went nuts on two $14.99 boom boxes.

I heard that the local best buy in Mira Mesa (San Diego) was pretty packed. Anyone go there?

My brother and I went to Best Buy at 4:50am, didn't get their Panasonic PV-GS31 camcorder for $250, then I proceeded to look online after I got back (we swung by Walmart just because) and managed to find one in stock, shipping in a day. So we jumped on that and later learned that there's a $50 MFR mail-in rebate thereby making it $200 AR, a 50% discount.

Nothing else really enticed me, although I was in line with one of those Insignia 7" portable DVD players, I was not impressed with the quality and decided that I'll rather keep my eyes open for a deal on a Toshiba or a Samsung at around 125-150.

Just as a side note...about a year and a half ago I bought the PVGS70. Takes wonderful video but after a couple of months the IEEE port broke. I sent it in for repair no problem. Flash forward a few more months and the port died again - now out of warranty. If available I would suggest getting the extended service plan on that. I wish I did. I still shoot all my video with that camera but wound up getting a beater camera off eBay to do the video transfer to my computer. Fooey on Panasonic camcorders.

An 80GB Hitachi hard drive for free after MIR
An 160GB Acomdata USB2 hard driver for $40 after MIR

BTW the chaos at Fry's yesterday was horrible. There was no line control so pple didn't where the line started and ended. Lots of pple grabbed the same items and waited for their relatives to buy because the "1 per customer" limit. I was trying to buy a 32" LCD TV for my aunt but I didn't have a chance because of reason posted.

Our Fry's was pretty tame...

I guess folks here aren't quite used to what it is... also, they chose not to run their main specials until the Friday morning paper. Like people were gonna read the paper at 5 am Friday... for BF deals. :heh:

Either way, I scored that sweet Audigy 2 sound card for $20 without any hassles from the crowd. :D

I was at the Colorado River camping(if you can call a 2br 38 foot travel trailer camping!) with my daughter and her husband & daughter. Also 2 other couples we know have trailers in the same place so they were there also. Cooked my 20 lb turkey on a Weber. Came out great. Got home today. It was a good 5 days. :woohoo: Ditched the day after shopping for the first time in about 20 years. What a smart move. My daughter did drive into Yuma but she only went to old Navy. Said it wasn't too bad.
